is one of my favorite activities.

I love what you write so much. My favorites are Dickie bird and Jay bird.

Don’t know whether this is fun or fluff as you’d wanted it (kinda went on a personal rant in Jason’s a little bit but I don’t regret it) but I still hope you enjoy it not the less. Also thank you for enjoying my Jason/ Dick stuff! 🫶🦦🐿️

Dick:

You go in for certain things that you need and come out with way more then you probably should. (And most of it isn’t what you actually needed)

Half of the stuff you get is mainly what Dick thinks Hayley might like and she ends up only liking 50% of it…the ‘daddy’s little girl’ doggy shirt was pushing it tbh.

Dick tends to wander off when your shopping together that when you went to ask him a question, only to notice that he was gone, you sigh and say;

‘Dick?’

A few isles over you heard a faint ‘yes honey?’

He was in the pet section. again.

You’d have to remind him that you were only there for specific things and nothing else, but Dick would always try to persuade you into allowing him to get something was wasn’t on the list at all, by battering his eyelids at you and saying ‘pretty please.’

You naturally can’t say no to you pretty boy who acts like a man child when shopping, especially if you’re the one who’s paying.

The shopping list you made might as well have been thrown in the bin with how often you come home, only to be reminded that you barely got 25% of the stuff on the shopping list thanks to Dick’s impulsiveness.

However Dick would only use this as an excuse to go shopping again later on in the week/month and do it all over again without remorse.

Also Dick is way too polite to tell people blocking the isle to move, he wants to, he really does but all he does is breathe in deeply and plaster on a smile before soldering on.

Jason:

Grocery shopping wasn’t a favourite of Jason’s but if he were to do it, he’d rather do it with you because he got to be a little goofy with it.

And by that I mean him getting a little affectionate and pinching your backside and you snacking his bicep and scolding him for being inappropriate in the frozen food section.

‘I’m not doing anything chipmunk.’ He’d defend himself as you glare him.

‘I’m sure as shit there isn’t a perverted ghost here that pinches people’s backsides for fun. Now pack it in.’ You hissed as you rubbed your ass in hopes of soothing the sharp pain you felt seconds ago.

You couldn’t help but smile as you could never truly stay mad at your sweet Jason, not unless he was staining your carpets with blood from a night out on patrol, but that was neither here nor there.

Other than that Jason would take the trolley from your hand and storm the store with a determination to get the fuck out as fast as possible.

His long ass strides tend to leave you behind in some random isle somewhere. So to combat this from being a reoccurring thing, Jason would just grabs your hand and puts on the trolley before putting his own on top; Now you were being dragged instead of getting left behind in somewhere with people blocking the fucking isle.

How sweet of him.

(If you’re one of these ppl, go fuck yourself bc what the fuck is so interesting that you have to block the ENTIRE FUCKING ISLE? MOVE!)

Speaking of people blocking the isle, it’s Jason’s biggest pet peeve because WHY THE FUCK ARE THEY TAKING SO MUCH FUCKING SPACE?! FUCKING MOVE YOU LAZY BASTARDS!

He will fucking glare at anyone who even dares to lean over his trolley to get something and when you tell him about how obvious he was being, he’d only response to this was: ‘they’re privileged with the use of a voice, they should fucking use it sometime.’

You’re basically there to calm him down before he bulldozes some poor bastard by guiding him to a lesser crowed isle and get some junk food for later as a reward, followed by your magical cuddles and kisses.

Jason hates shopping but with you it was made just that little bit enduring, only a little bit…he still wants to fight the young couple who wouldn’t fucking move in that one isle and honestly you don’t blame him as you would gladly join him.

It was a very bad idea- agreeing to bake a cake with your boyfriend was a horrible idea. The number one reason being: none of you knew how to make a cake. So it was quite literally a recipe for a big disaster.

You were both currently standing in the kitchen you shared, looking over the recipe- it was a simple vanilla cake, with some Christmas decorations.

Earlier Jay had gone to the store to buy the ingredients needed, and when he came back he couldn't stop complaining about how he couldn't find any of the ingredients, so he had to ask for some help from one of the workers there. Even after you had offered to go with him. But Jay being Jay, he was very stubborn and he always wanted to do it on his own.

Looking over the recipe one more time you tried to focus on reading it, instead of glancing at Jay who was currently playing on the floor with Maxie- your golden retriever puppy. They both looked so adorable and hearing Jay do the baby voice while speaking to Maxie, you tried to stifle your laughter at how adorable he was being.

“I can hear you laughing, Y/n.” Jay said while grinning at you.

“It's not my fault you're being so adorable.” You replied, while biting your lip to hide a smile. He just shook his head in response and went back to playing with Maxie.

After a while, Jay got up from the floor and started helping you out by mixing the ingredients together, while you looked over the recipe again and started looking at the ingredients needed for the frosting and decorations. “Okay what do we need next?” Jay asked, looking over at you.

“We just need eggs and sugar and that's it.” You replied, glancing over at him. He was wearing a massive smile on his face and his cheeks were all rosy and his eyes were sparkling with joy.

After a while the batter was done and now the cake was in the oven. Slowly you both started to clean up. Until you saw how Jay’s eyes were sparkling with mischief- which meant trouble.

“Okay so that's done. Can we bake some cookies after this cake is done?” Jay asked with a massive grin. “Of course we can, but let's just focus on-”

Before you could finish, you felt Jay throw flour at you. Gasping in shock you look at him in fake annoyance. “You just started a war, Halstead.” You replied with a mischievous grin before also throwing some flour at him.

Soon that evolved into a big flour fight and by the end of it, the whole kitchen was covered in flour and so were you and Jay. But you didn't really care that much, since you were both laughing to the point of tears and having a lot of fun.

Your laughter was interrupted by the smoke alarm. Which meant the cake was now burnt, since you hadn't heard the timer going off. Jay quickly pulled out the burnt cake out of the oven, while you opened a few windows to let the smoke out.

“Well that didn't work out.” Jay said, looking over to you with a smile. “It's fine, we can always make another one-” You said with a small smile. “But now our biggest problem is finding something to bake fast since the Christmas party is in 2 hours.”

Jay just bursted into laughter again. “Well that was a fun experience. How about we make a deal?” He asked, looking over to you. “So what's the deal Halstead?” You grinned in response.

“I clean up the kitchen, while you shower and then we can figure out something that we can make fast together-” Jay smiles at you.

“Sounds fair to me.” You said shrugging with a grin before pressing a small kiss to his lips and heading to the bathroom to shower.

After your shower, you walked into the kitchen that Jay had managed to clean up. “Jay, where are you?” You called walking towards the living room. “Shower!” He yelled back from the second bathroom.

When Jay walked out of the bathroom, you both started to make some cookies quickly. But this time without any flour fights. While the cookies were baking, you both danced around to your shared playlist while laughing and joking around. Your stomach even started to hurt from all the laughter.

A while later, you and Jay were getting ready to leave for the District for the Christmas party. Soon after arriving, you said hi to everyone and placed the baked cookies on a table. After everyone sat down, the unit started exchanging funny stories with each other.

“C'mon tell them what you did Y/n.” Jay said jokingly to you. You laughed and replied “Me? Tell them how you screwed up." You said jokingly, while referring to what happened earlier with the flour fight.

Everyone burst into laughter after you explained what had happened earlier. Looking over to Jay you smiled and reached over to kiss his cheek softly. “I love you Y/n/n.” He said with a small grin and red cheeks. “I love you too Jay.” You smiled back, pressing another small kiss to his lips.

This Christmas party turned out better than you could've expected. Even if baking the cake never worked out.

Jay

Our favorite eunuch needs more than just a straightforward and extroverted person, to start having romantic feelings for. He needs someone who would be persistent and patient in their pursuit too. Someone who wouldn’t get discouraged easily just after some months. Yep, you will need to work hard to get our super rookie to fall head over heels for you.

Speaking of appearance, Jay is not the kind to care for how someone looks. If he likes you he will like you for who you are not minding your physical appearance. On the other hand, if you want Jay to notice exactly that because you are extremely attractive. I’m sorry to inform you but you will be disappointed to see Jay’s disinterest.

No matter how you look, breaking through Jay’s barrier would take more than just good looks and an extroverted person. Jay needs someone positive, who is always there for him, encouraging him and letting him lean on their shoulder when he can’t take it anymore.

Dom’s ideal type is someone pretty. You have to be pretty for Dom to be attracted to you. He is also into short hair, if you are the type who looks pretty in short hair, the chances are high this guy will come up to you asking you out while throwing an extremely cringy punch line while looking at you with googly eyes.

He is also into someone who can punch some sense back to him when he needs to. Someone who is not going to give in to everything he wants when they see him overdoing something.

He needs that kind of person who would be able to calm him down when he gets too into something. For example, when he gets into a fight you have to stop him or talk to him about the fact that he should not do it. Or else the boy will continue to do the same thing again and again. Or when he gets too engrossed with his training that he ends up skipping school for weeks you have to smack some sense into him or else he will not budge.

Basically, Dom is like a little child most times, who needs a mature, disciplined, and smart person to help him…. well, not lose his way. You will need extreme patience with this one. Good luck!

Well, you have to be a goddess for Owen to notice you. This guy cares about appearance quite a lot. So you will have to take care of your image if you want to attract this one.

You also need to understand how hard it was for Owen to move on from his first love Shelly. So don’t be jealous or insecure just because he loved her before it doesn’t mean you are less or he does not have feelings for you. It’s just a tough thing you will both have to deal with if you want to create a healthy relationship with him.

Owen can be mature, yet he would love it if around you he could let go and be a bit childish. If he does act like that, that means he feels comfortable being around you.

He is more on the cheesy side when dating so he would love it if you were fine with it if you agreed to wear matching clothes and jewellery. He would love to share one drink with two straws with you while taking a polaroid picture, which you suggested doing.
