Ooooh I like this~ I definitely have some thoughts...

Content: talk of heat, rut, breeding, reproduction, rough sex, and borderline fuck-or-die situations, I would say mpreg mention but Doe isn't a man so idk doepreg mention?

One very important thing to note is that Doe has no clue how human reproduction works, so whether or not you can get pregnant doesn't matter to him. He has no idea either way. He'll just try his best, regardless of if you can or not!

So here's the thing about Regular Guys like Doe. I like to think that they're hermaphroditic in the biological sense, meaning they're capable of being on both ends of reproduction

This differs from intersex humans, because we can't produce both male and female gametes regardless of our intersex variation. Whereas hermaphroditic species can, and are therefore capable of both impregnating and becoming pregnant themselves

So Doe would be able to both impregnate and become impregnated. Which could come with both manifestations of a reproductive cycle, a heat and a rut

In his heat, he would become submissive and desperate to be bred. His body would get hot and flushed, he'd give off pheromones, and he'd beg you to fuck him

Or, if you're not dominant enough for his tastes, he'll just be a dominant bottom. He'll climb on top and ride you (strap, cock, whatever you've got for him) until he's satisfied

He calms down, once that urge is taken care of. His heat goes away and he's fine for a while. But then... then there's the rut

He gets more dominant and aggressive, possessive over you and territorial. He's rougher with you, pinning you down and growling about how he needs to breed you

He's desperate to claim you as his and knock you up, his instincts are screaming at him to make sure you're pregnant with his child by the end of his rut

Both his heat and his rut are tough on him. His instincts drive him wild, and he feels like he's going to die if he doesn't get what he needs. He's absolutely insatiable for their duration

If he's not indulged, then he does get violently ill. Like too weak to get out of bed, feverish, delirious. It's scary to see Doe when he's not fucking/being fucked during his rut/heat

His absolute ideal is both of you being pregnant by the end of it all. But he'll be more than happy if just one of you is! As long as you can raise a family together (and maybe indulge his pregnancy kinks while you're at it) then he's happy!

Now if it wasn't clear before, Janne Da Arc has been one of my favorite bands period ("Neo Venus" and "Gekkouka" being dead giveaways lol).

But if there's anything that intrigued me it's their Another Story album.

From what info I could find, this is actually based on a novel vocalist yasu had written before. Which, if you listen to the album you can definitely know it's attempting to tell a story by its fantasy-like atmosphere, and how darker the songs get later on.

The novel itself, though, I can't find it. In fact, there's plenty that I can't find about Another Story other than the album itself.

Also the cover is actually just a cutout from the full piece. Which... I have not found an actual high quality version of, either. What you're seeing is genuinely the best I could find...

I finally drew Colet and Rose in style of the album cover by one of my favorite bands (you can see it here)! The idea has been stuck in my head for a while because... reasons (do you even need reasons to draw something you like?). Just thought this style would fit them, although normally I like to imagine Colet more as a punk and Rose as a goth girl (insert your "he was a punk, she did ballet" joke here). Glad I could finally get it out of my system, haha.

He's thrilled when he finds out he can use it to contact you! That he doesn't have to show up at your job whenever he misses you! Not that he'll stop doing that, of course...

But he'll send you pictures! Most of them are... well, indescribable. Quite literally, you can't decipher what they're meant to be

It's not that the pictures are blurry, they just don't make sense. Like they were made by a poorly trained AI rather than taken by Doe

Sometimes you can sort of get what they are from the messages he sends with them, but most of the time they're just sent with a heart

He'll send you every little update about his day! You'll know where he is and what he's doing at all times

He calls you every ten minutes or so just to hear your voice. He doesn't know how to start or end conversations, so he'll just tell you he loves and misses you and then hang up

He'll send you memes and ask you to explain them to him

Once he finds out what your favourite animal is, he'll send you lots of pictures of them! At least... you think it's meant to be your favourite animal, since that's the emoji he sent with it

He does not use emojis right, but he loves to send them!

It's like teaching your grandpa to use a cell phone if your grandpa was an eldritch horror who could twist reality to his own suiting

coming from nowhere and going nowhere kinda idea but i saw this

fic where JdA, for fun, decides to torment Roderick with the idea that Rod was trapped in the time loop but remembers nothing

JdA asks "did you let me die in your arms?" and is smiling because this is hilarious

and Roderick, on pure instinct, wants to say Yes so much, but he doesn't remember?? any?? time loop?? Jacques dying?? in his arms?? but surely if JdA knows about it then it's true (because Roderick needs to trust JdA explicitly for any part of their grand operation to work), but if Rod doesn't remember holding him then it means it didn't happen, then despite apparently escaping the time loop, he failed miserably

it goes on for a week and eventually JdA figures it wasn't that funny and just tells Rod that it did happen but JdA erased all his painful memories, and Rod is like oh ok im normal now
