Stage front tables are reserved for dinner guests, so book in to dine with us and enjoy the show from your table at www.91bricklane.com/bookings In Brazil, he trained at the Carlos de Campos de Tatui Conservatoire where his tutors included Claudio Leal [harmony] and David Richards [Improvisation]. In addition to this formal musical education, Pereira began to perform and record studio sessions, exploring and developing his own style. In 1997 he moved to in New York where he pursued intensive studies with the saxophone virtuoso Dave Liebman. After returning to Brazil where he continued to play with and arrange for numerous jazz artists, Pereira headed to Europe, eager for a change of scene. He settled in Madrid in 2007 and began collaborating with acclaimed artists such as The Spanish National Jazz Orchestra and Jorge Pardo, known first and foremost for his work with flamenco legend Paco De Lucia and jazz great Chick Corea. Hailing from a musical family in Brazil, Pereira has devoted himself to creating his own unique compositional signature and a style of performance that reflects a fusion of global influences, from western jazz to traditional Brazilian folk music. In 2018 Giuliano wrote " THE CIRCULAR CONCEPT " a book about intervals 4ths and 5ths.
