i think trans azz will be canon. there is so much evidence and there's already so much queer rep in mairuma. if trans azz becomes canon i will actually cry of joy

i don't know about love trio being a romantic polycule because of irumelie... but at the same time i feel like it is possible. everybody's in love with iruma. isn't it already canon that clara is interested in him romantically? and azz is... azz. i can see it happening. i would LOVE to see it happen. i would actually cry of joy if this happened too i think.

I really want to talk about Amelie. I HOPE we can see that trainig. I really want a chapter dedicate to Amelie and her training. One that is about her. God knows a love the Irumelie contend, but I think is fair that we get an Amelie centric chapter, with her and the student council, why not (I miss them). When I read this, the first thing that came to mind was Opera being the trainer. I mean the offer was put it on hold but wasn't rejected. Their team work in walter park came out short, I think they were an interesting combo so I'd like to see more of them.

Now Amelie's ambition of keep ranking up. I first glance nothing rare. She had already established what she wanted, but could Amelie want to rank up past 9? You know, to 10, since she "won't stop"?. Amelie has never affirmed or denied wanting the throne of the netherworld. She wanted to protect the school and then the rest of the world working in security with her father. Being demon queen could help wit that.

It has already been hinted that she could be Henry's candidate for the throne. She would be a great rival, that's for sure. And it could make for some interesting interactions between her and Iruma and other possible candidates. I can really see Amelie aiming for queen. She would be an interesting addition to the choice of the next monarch.

(We know that Iruma is going to be the King, but having his rivals fight more would make this journey more exciting, make it a real competition).

I thought about it before, but I'm glad they confirmed that going up to ranks higher than 5 would be very difficult. The misfits went through a lot to get to 4, but they still made it in less than a school year, so after that, moving up the ranks would be a rough ride.

I'm also going to assume that all the teachers are rank 7 (except Kalego and Balam ofc). That could be a requirement to be one at Babyls. As we saw, all the Teachers are extremely powerful, so for Amelie to reach their level seems even more hardcore.

Dinner is over, but they had a great time and Iruma's more determined than ever, having his spirits lifted and his mind more at easy after talking with Amelie; but now that I think about it, they didn't talk about the Atori incident. Idk but it's weird that no one has talked about it. And I doubt it's not something that's constantly on their minds. I can't wait for it to be discussed.

I really like Amelie's reaction to Iruma's big appetite. She didn't shut him out or tell him to change, she said "that's so you" as if to say "okay be yourself". For someone like him who has been everything others needed, to be told that it's okay to be what you want and like, it's really moving. I think it was not the first time that she had said that to him, “That’s so you”. There were other times and it really puts me at ease that they accept him for who he is and that he is free to do what he wants.

One thing that I love is that we get to see different sides of Amelie. She's very confident but can also feel insecure and awkward, and she is so ADORABLE. The waiter also thinks the same (or the money they could get by having this rich girl pay for all the food the boy she likes eats). The souvenir was really cute and unexpected, was a nice touch.

Yk I use to think that Amelie thought that Iruma was conscious of them having dates. But it seems that she is the one who is aware that he doesn't know. It’s sad but it shows that she knows what is the status of their relationship, and she is not delusional (much) thinking otherwise. You really should tell him girl, at this point it's the only way he's gonna notice!

It was a great chapter; my shipper heart is very very happy. We have awesome Amelie, awesome Iruma and awesome Irumelie. It really showed how good their relationship is.

PART I

Serious talk is about to begin but take a moment to appreciate that slice of cake! Like is pure art, the details: the horns, the skulls and the swords, the mini devil's ring castle. Masterpiece! congrats, chef!

Down to business, Iruma was quickly to open up to her. This isn't new, but it is part of what makes their relationship so good. There is confidence to talk, that's why they can go from light and mundane topics to more serious and personal things, it's a real and good balance because that's how the most dynamic relationships should be.

Iruma is conflicted, he has realized his own shortcomings, his weakness. After wining victory after victory, he is finally tasting failure. So is normal to feel down when you are being up for so long. And Amelie does something interesting in response to his feeling of hopeless. She begins by reminding him of his achievements, how far he has come since he was rank 1, and although it hasn't been easy he is now rank 5, he's but one rank behind her, and that catching up with her was one of his motivators.

She gave him the honey, now comes the hatchet. Because Amelie is anything but a passive character is this story. She made herself part of his motivator (also his support) but she won't be idly waiting, cause she has her own desires and ambitions. And we see Iruma's expression of surprise but I think he's a little excited too, he's still blushing, did he likes Amelie's determination that much? Is he thriller by this new challenge?

Far from adding more difficulties or worries, Amelie's clarifying her `part on this agreement. He'll do what he has to do to reach her, but she won't wait for him, she's her own person and she has her sights set on going far, with or without him by her side. BUT she does want him to be by her side, as equals going the same pat to fulfill their own individual ambitions (independent but together)

And Iruma is touched by this show of affection, trust and consideration. Amelie (the one he thinks is amazing) sees him as someone capable of the same, and wants his company very much (In this manner and in other ways that he's not fully aware yet). He was hesitant and sad that he didn't have what it took to get what he wanted. But she reminded him that she is ahead and that she is pushing herself and accomplishing things. Things he can get too if he keeps going.

Here comes the best panel of the entire chapter and one of the best of the manga. Iruma visualized Amelie in front of him as she has been from the beginning, but he also sees himself finally reaching her side. And who knows when that time would be and what it would bring and mean. We can see Iruma's second year uniform but the bands on his sleeves are hidden by the light, perhaps it is a way to hide when this will happen. Personally I don't think it will happen this year, especially if Amelie manages to get rank 7. But that will be Nishi sensei's decision

He's fired up again. Reaffirming his determination. And she couldn't be more pleased, proud and happy. She lifted his spirit with kindness but also honesty. They both reaffirm their intension and plans, and sealed this with a toast, a promise of the future.

I'll stop here because I want to talk more about Amelie's wishes and future outcomes for her. Also the new information we receive about ranks and ascension.

So I'll wrap everything up in the next part
