A-T-3 250 Irmin Schmidt - Filmmusik Vol. 3 & 4
Irmin Schmidt is a founding member of Can. After Can's debut Monster Movie comes a compilation of music they'd made for films simply called Soundtracks. Although other members of Can continue to produce music for film it's Schmidt who focuses to it (Schmidt will use members of Can on the recordings of his compositions for film)
Irmin Schmidt's wife Hildegard is Can's manager and founded Spoon Records in 1979 to release and reissue music from Can and the band's individual members. In 1983 Spoon releases Filmmusik Vol. 3 & 4 the third and fourth volumes of Irmin Schmidt's music for film compilations
Irmin and Hildegard's daughter has been the director of Spoon since 2008. Irmin Schmidt is on bandcamp https://irminschmidt.bandcamp.com/album/filmmusik-anthology-vol-1-2-3 as is the official Can catalogue. Spoon has some kind of deal with Mute Records since the 1990s, I think, anyway the music

Can - Live Golders Green Hippodrome - 1974 - Past Daily Soundbooth
Can – Leave it to the Germans to ratchet up the Progressive Movement a few notches.
https://pastdaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/1974-03-02-bbc-in-concert-can.mp3
Can were one of those bands no one thought would be as influential in 1974 as they became. They had taken the cause of Progressive Rock and ratcheted it up a few notches and introduced Electronic music in a way that hadn’t been…
