Palestinian educators have previously told Middle East Eye that Israeli authorities were aiming to eliminate its curriculum in favour of the Israeli version, in an attempt to erode Palestinian identity and "distort" history.
Academic content Israel has sought to censor, they said, includes the logo of the Palestinian Authority, the Palestinian flag, lessons that discuss the Palestinian struggle against occupation, the right of return and prisoners, settlements, the immigration of settlers to Palestine, military checkpoints, the intifada, displaced villages, and considering Zionism a racist political movement.

JERUSALEM (Reuters) -Israel appropriated several tracts of land abutting a major Jewish settlement in the occupied West Bank on Thursday, but a source briefed on the decision told Reuters there was currently no plan for construction there.
An announcement by the Civil Administration, part of Israel's Defence Ministry, said the tracts amounted to 2,640 dunams, or 652 acres. The Israeli source said they would now be designated part of Maale Adumim settlement, east of Jerusalem.
A spokesperson for the Palestinian Authority said the move underscored Israel's steady push to cut off Jerusalem from the Palestinian areas which surround it and undermine the possibility of creating an independent Palestinian state.
“The Israeli occupation authorities deliberately defy international legitimacy and its resolutions, which have consistently declared the illegitimacy of settlements in all Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem,” Nabil Abu Rudeineh, a spokesman for President Mahmoud Abbas, said.
The West Bank is among territories captured by Israel in the 1967 Middle East war and where Palestinians, with international support, seek statehood. Most world powers deem the settlements illegal.

THIS is ethnic cleansing. During Hanukkah, a coalition of settler groups funded by the state of Israel held a conference to discuss a “practical” plan to build the first settlements in Gaza, all while the Israeli government is actively waging a genocidal war on Palestinians.
@hareyzahav an Israeli real estate firm with a history of building illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank, unveiled a plan for the homes in Gaza.
Their advertisements say: “A house on the beach is not a dream! We have begun clearing rubble and fending off squatters.” Another ad calls Gaza the “Land of Israel. Fight. Liberate. Settle.” and includes a hotline to register for a place in the future settlement.
Just as the Israeli government was crystal clear in its plans to commit genocide, the Israeli government’s post-genocide colonization strategy is explicit and blatant—and a war crime.
We can stop this. Don’t look away. All eyes on Palestine.

[ISRAEL HAS NO JURISDICTION IN THE WEST BANK]
Tumblr media
How can a foreign country imposed their laws on another nation when they are not even citizens of that country?
Israel being a creation of the United Nations, are bound by the United Nations resolutions and borders which specifically creates which areas form part of “Israel”.
Tumblr media
It’s no surprise that a country without a formal Constitution may easily get confused in understanding the real meaning of “sovereignty” and “respect for the rule of laws”.
The West Bank is not even part of Israel, the Palestinians are not even granted Israeli Citizenship. Why and on what basis is Israel detaining Palestinians in their own soil when Israeli law only applies within Israel.
Can you imagine if your neighbouring country imposes their laws on your soil when you are not even a citizen of that country?
Tumblr media
We surely can’t but somehow the lawless apartheid regime finds no error in it.

“Kill Them All: Jewish Israeli nationalists who are proudly blocking humanitarian aid and invading Gaza. Before marching into Gaza, an Israeli settler from New York explained that that she wants to live on the beach in Gaza after the Palestinians are cleaned out.”
‘We have lists already of about 500 families that are willing, on the drop of a hat to move to Gaza. People are going to start building towns. We have the names of towns. It's already being planned.’
‘This is our sovereign state.’
GTFOH.
The genocidal, white supremacist, colonizer in orange is an American from Staten Island, NY. This has always been about settler colonialism, settler violence, land theft and building even more illegal settlements.

the misinformation about hamas is unreal even on the pro-palestine side. their current charter even lays out terms for a possible two-state solution (which the israeli government dismissed before it was even finished being written) and in three separate paragraphs they outline that they will not persecute anyone on the basis of religion, race or gender and do not have a quarrel with the jewish people, only the zionist entity of israel. but everyone keeps saying READ THEIR CHARTER! THEY WANT TO GENOCIDE JEWS! i read the whole thing? the only thing they said about jews was that they don't have a problem with jews and they even acknowledge the european antisemitism that lead to the zionist entity...
yeah. i recommend anyone to check out this article and read their charter themselves
The Zionist project does not target the Palestinian people alone; it is the enemy of the Arab and Islamic Ummah posing a grave threat to its security and interests. It is also hostile to the Ummah’s aspirations for unity, renaissance and liberation and has been the major source of its troubles. The Zionist project also poses a danger to international security and peace and to mankind and its interests and stability. 16. Hamas affirms that its conflict is with the Zionist project not with the Jews because of their religion. Hamas does not wage a struggle against the Jews because they are Jewish but wages a struggle against the Zionists who occupy Palestine. Yet, it is the Zionists who constantly identify Judaism and the Jews with their own colonial project and illegal entity. 17. Hamas rejects the persecution of any human being or the undermining of his or her rights on nationalist, religious or sectarian grounds. Hamas is of the view that the Jewish problem, anti-Semitism and the persecution of the Jews are phenomena fundamentally linked to European history and not to the history of the Arabs and the Muslims or to their heritage. The Zionist movement, which was able with the help of Western powers to occupy Palestine, is the most dangerous form of settlement occupation which has already disappeared from much of the world and must disappear from Palestine.
Most vital, and despite maintaining the right of Palestinians to strive for and achieve their liberation, Article 20 then asserts:
Hamas considers the establishment of a fully sovereign and independent Palestinian state, with Jerusalem as its capital along the lines of the 4th of June 1967, with the return of the refugees and the displaced to their homes from which they were expelled, to be a formula of national consensus.
Hamas thus consents to recognize an Israel along its 1967 lines, before Israel annexed territory in two successive wars and pursued further violent land grabs in Syria’s Golan. Ironically, this leaves Hamas policy closer to international law than the relentless Israeli projects of border and settlement expansion.

[ISRAEL HAS NO JURISDICTION IN THE WEST BANK PART II]
Tumblr media
Question : Is it logical to have a foreign law in your own soil?
Israel does not recognise Palestinians in the West Bank as sovereign, vehemently implanting their own laws on another nation.
In this post, we draw parallels between bordering countries where our stance is,
"Just because they are neighbouring countries, it doesn’t mean they are not sovereign and a foreign law can be in place."
(i) US-Mexico
Tumblr media
(ii) China-Laos
Tumblr media
(iii) Russia-Finland
Tumblr media
It is entirely erroneous and void to impose a foreign law on a sovereign nation.
The use of Israeli law on Palestinian soil is against Israel’s own jurisdiction as the United Nations via a resolution in 1947 and 1967 has already stipulated the apartheid state’s territorial jurisdiction.
Tumblr media
If Israel wants to implement laws, then those laws should be within Israel’s borders as set by the United Nations.
Therefore, all arrests and orders including home demolition and administrative detention in the West Bank are void and illegal from the start as Israel has no jurisdiction to do so.
In simple terms, the West Bank is not annexed as part of Israel. So, it is a different country altogether with their own set of laws.
Israel cannot impose their laws on the West Bank.
If Israel wants to continue promoting itself as a “law-compliant” nation, they may start by respecting the rule of law.

"waaa waaa israelis are getting killed" okay??? and??? palestinians have been getting massacred for almost 80 years non stop. i was three years old when an israeli soldier held a gun to my face. i don't care that a few colonial settlers (that are ILLEGALLY settled there btw. according to international law) are dead.
hey answer this for me- why are the settlers and civilians the first people who get hurt? why? you wanna know why? because israel does it on purpose. it's all systematically set up. israel systematically puts settlements with israeli people who are not soldiers RIGHT next to the palestinians, so if anything happens, the settlers will be the first ones to die, and israel and america can immediately put the blame and demonize palestinians even more. israel is doing this ON PURPOSE. israel doesn't care for it's people. they kill them off whenever it's convenient. they will do everything in their power, including allowing their own people to be killed, in order to make palestinians look less than human.
stop falling for propaganda. stop listening to the western media. listen to the palestinian voices. listen to indiginous voices. listen to the opressed. we need help, and we need all of you to support us. from the river to the sea 🇵🇸

"make no mistake: the ICJ case is primarily symbolic. decolonization doesn't happen in a courtroom. justice is not won through bodies of international law. "i*****i" settlements were declared illegal years ago. That didn't stop their construction. palestinian armed resistance has long been affirmed as a legal right. they're still called "terrorists." while those who filed the suit against the colonial entity deserve full praise, remember that this is but one of many strategies. don't lose sight of the tens of thousands from all over the region who have given their lives for palestinian liberation. the palestinian struggle does not begin or end at the hague, the united nations, or any bourgeois institution. it will always be, above all else, in the land of palestine" — via savesheikhjarrah92 on instagram
