What the hell is wrong with this dog? Read to find out!

Chicken Nugget has demodectic mange. This type of mange can be triggered in dogs with weakened immune systems: puppies with inherited weaknesses, old dogs, sick dogs, etc. It's even possible for an otherwise perfectly healthy dog to develop a patch or two of demodex that disappear when treated.

Essentially, a weakened immune system means the dog's body is less prepared to deal with the mites that already live on their bodies. As a result, the mites can get out of control and cause an outbreak of demodectic mange. In Chicken Nugget's case, she was born with a weak immune system and her condition developed rapidly once she was brought home. But the good thing is that these dogs--Chicken Nugget among them--can recover from this condition if their immune system figures its shit out later. At that point, their bodies will respond appropriately to their natural mites, and balance is maintained. Basically, they can lead happy lives, though dogs with more severe past episodes might always look a little scraggly.

Sarcoptic mange is the one you're probably thinking of when you see those sad, skeletal street dogs (or other animals) with most of their fur gone. That is a contagious skin disease caused by an outbreak of Sarcoptes scabiei and it is very painful.

okay so maybe hangman and rooster should’ve hugged (and kissed and gotten down on one knee and proposed) at the end of the movie but also,,, lady gaga’s love theme for this movie is called “hold my hand.” the only hand holding that happens in this movie? the only extended touch of two hands set to triumphant music in the background? hangman and rooster.

there’s a lot of hugging in this movie but not these two. they stood out for it. according to gaga rules, the ultimate sign of love in the top gun universe is being hand in hand. she could’ve written anything. “just hold me tight” or something. but she chose hands.

do penny and maverick even hold hands in this movie? (barely when he helps her off his motorcycle is the answer. there is no focus given to it and i missed it four times. you know what handhold you couldn’t possibly miss??)

there are two pairs that have moments that specifically highlight them holding hands. one is hangster and the other? well there’s a certain picture that shows up three times in this movie. of a certain maverick and iceman. and what are they doing in that picture? they’re not just talking, they’re not hugging. “don’t you let go of my hand,” says lady gaga, and icemav haven’t, they’ve been holding each others hand since 86 because that moment in frozen in fucking time. lady gaga wrote it, somebody approved it, theyre both canon, thank you for coming to my ted talk

Ok so I’m gonna start sharing my Icemav extended Universe ships! I’m a lil embarrassed about this but let me know what think

Ok so the first one I want to share is Nick Rivers x Steve Randall bc both characters exist relatively in the same time period . I think about them way too often so I’m starting with them first. I imagine them meeting about two years after the events of The Outsiders, Steve would be around 19 and Nick about 23,so there would be a bit of an age gap, but nothing to major. The two would meet at one of Nick’s shows bc ponyboy is a big fan and Dallas made Sodapop and Steve talk him. Steve was a little pissed about having to take k him at first, but he beings to get into in after awhile. Meanwhile, Nick see’s Steve in the audience and LOVES his little toothless smile. Before The boys go home, they stop into a restaurant and run into Nick, who is immediately drawn to Steve. Nick makes sure to tell as many jokes as he could so that he could see more of Steve’s smile. Since the restaurant was crowded, Steve and Nick get a moment to sneak away for some kisses. Steve writes his house phone number down on a napkin to give to Nick, bc this definitely won’t be there only meeting. After about 9 months of talking, they start to date. Steve’s surprisingly very charming and loves to call Nick names like honeybun and sugarplum. Nick spoils Steve A LOT with all sorts of fancy dinners and even a new car. Some people are kind of shocked that the two were together bc their lifestyles were so different, but obviously, nothing will tear these boys apart. Ok that’s all I have I hope u enjoyed!
