I’m so happy Jack is taking a break. He truly deserves it, considering he hasn’t took an actual break from YouTube in 5 years! I’m probably gonna lie if I say I didn’t cry while watching the video. Not because he’s taking a break but just to see how far he’s come in YouTube. That he gets to do these types of things because of it. I remember watching some of his old vlogs while he was still in his cabin making videos and to see where YouTube has brought him really warms my heart. He really has come a long way and I can’t wait to see what the future holds <3

Also, since Jack said he wanted to do more vlogs I don’t know why, but I felt the need to make a list of a few vlogs you guys can watch while he’s on tour with the Grumps. (Also, got the idea from @supertinysean‘s post)

It's weird. If someone's upset or someone's struggling mentally I'll always want to listen, I'll always want to just say "hey, my messages are always open if you need to talk" (which they are if you need to ❤) even though I feel like I struggle to give advice in certain situations I still want to listen and try my hardest to help and I really want to do that with Sean, I wanna know what's going on in his head, I want to talk to him, help him even though I know I can't.

I want to dedicate this whole thing to an amazing person called Sean.

But you all know him as Jack, or to be more specific, JackSepticEye.

About half a year ago, I went through the toughest and the most difficult time of my life.

I used to cry myself to sleep, every night.

I had no friends at all, my class, they ignored me. Back in elementary, I was hated, but at least I had a voice.

A year and a half ago, I got to highshcool.

My new class members didn’t give a shit on me, I once fell and twisted my ankle. No one even flinched, the just stared at me for a few seconds and went back to their conversations.

I was about to take my own life, to just end this. I hated every and each moment of my existence.

And… I was a total nerd, I love Marvel, and I saw the first trailer to Deadpool came out. So I searched it online… Instead, I found a video game, I could'nt afford buying it, so I looked up on YouTube, and that’s when I first got to hear about this person called, Jacksepticeye.

Jack was the only thing that made me smile in these times, I would watch his videos all the time, he is funny, and kind, and… He made me feel wanted, even tho I knew he does'nt even know me… He made me see that everyone matters… Including me.

Jack saved my life.

I know he does'nt know that, but it does'nt stop me from thanking him about this every day. He showed how to laugh on myself, how to.. “take things easily”, how to built my self confidance, and I finally found friends and felt belong. And most of it thanks to this amazing beautiful person.

A while ago, Jack decided to take a break from YouTube, from his own private reasons, and I support him with all of my heart.

I might not know how he feels, but I can only imagine that is you’re going through something in life, managing a YouTube channel with millions of people watching is an overwhelming, difficult task.

And now, although you’d probably never see this, I just want to say; Thank you so, so much Jack. For everything, for showing us how important it is to be yourself even in the hardest times, to know when to make the right choices, and mostly, how to care. Not only for other people but to ourselves as well.

And even tho I’m just an high-schooler who knows nothing, if there is anything I could ever do for you, I would do it. I would help in any way I can and I wish you’ll get better soon, read some books, listen to your favourite music, eat many many delicious cakes, and above all, be happy, stay happy, and remember you are loved.

I’m glad he’s taking a break. Jack’s worked his ass off lately, and he really deserves it. It upsets me to know that he was stressed out about his tour. I’m happy to hear that he’s focusing more on his mental health. So enjoy your break Jack, you really deserve it. And feel free to take more breaks in the future!

Jacksepticeye Appreciation Post

Jack is the most genuine YouTuber I’ve seen and is such a sweet person. He makes it known that he cares about us, his community - as a whole and as individuals. When he says he cares, you can just tell that he means it and isn’t just saying it for the camera.

Jack has brought light so many people’s lives, no matter how dark those lives were. Jack brought smiles for the sad, laughter for those who cried, and hope for anyone who wanted to give up. He held our hands and supported us through, despite the screen between us.

I know that Jack has made an impact on people I have talked to in this community, friends I only have because of it. He has also had a huge impact on my own life.

Anxiety and depression, my big demons that follow me everywhere, had been consuming me before I found Jack. I thought I’d never laugh or smile again, and everything seemed hopeless. But Jack changed all that, and I did find that smile again. I laughed, and the hope slowly came back. Maybe things really would get better after all. When my demons screamed, Jack shouted louder and drowned out the noise. He believed in me. 

Those demons are still there, of course, no one person can take them away. But he’s made them seem smaller, and been at my side to fight them whenever they decided to attack me. He made sure I wasn’t alone.

Jack might be on a YT break, but this community will never take a break from loving and appreciating him! I won’t forget what he’s done for me, or my friends in this big happy septic family! ^-^

I understand that everyone looks forward to his videos, I feel the same way. But you can’t seriously expect the man to work endlessly without breaks just to make sure you have a new video to watch. Let him have some quality time with his family, and his amazing girlfriend. It’s his life he’s living, not yours.

I'm really happy that the solo tour went well. From the pictures I did see, it looked amazing and hearing people stories definitely made it an experience that some many others want to be involved in. 

 I do not what this to be read in the wrong way, but I'm glad you are taking a break Jack. I absolutely respect your decision. It must have been a difficult conclusion to come to as myself as well as others know how much you pride your schedule and work ethic. No matter how long you have watched Jack, so many will understand the reasoning for your time off. As a matter of fact, its very difficult that you, Jack would want to less us down. You always bring videos that wants to keeps us immersed in this wonderful channel. 

I believe it will be the right call for the long run. It is very much needed and you have definitely earned it! Also taking some time away will help to replenish creativity and retain your personal passion of YouTube. Take some free time for yourself without stressing about your content. You think about your subscribers and your community so much that it shouldn't come at the expense of your physical and mental health. 

'If you do anything too often, even the things you love eventually it will get to you'. This right here on what you said is, remember that! I too have been in a similar boat and know the hardships. In the end, the best remedy was taking a breather, it definitely helps to get back on track. Hopefully this will help for you Jack. 

Thanks for the heads up on will happen in the upcoming weeks. All the best bud, I can't wait to see you back in full swing after the tour and break.

Jack you are an amazing person, don't ever feel ashamed for prioritising yourself. Some words of wisdom, don't let this overshadow of what you have accomplished so far this year and in the 5 years you have done YouTube. You have shared some much happiness with others and I'll know you will continue to do in the future, but for now, take care of yourself bud.

I really hope nobody gives any shit posts to Seán on taking a break.

He puts in so much effort with us everyday no matter what has happened in his day or his week or anything like that.

As he takes a break i'm going to reflect on that because he's such an awesome person and I'm so grateful for the effort and mentality he puts out for us as a community.
