adored this episode, the animation is exactly the kind of style I tend to love in different anime AND all the emotional beats hit. Jogo’s death is one of my favorite scenes in the manga and it was gorgeous. and the way the megumi vs toji fight was animated made me considerably more emotional about megumi, especially with his expressions

#is there a name for this animation style or is it specific animators that are known for it ? #I think his name is Masaaki Yuasa who helped create all those films and shows like the recent devilman crybaby and ping pong #but it reminded me of those works and also how mob psycho fights get #either way im not remotely knowledgeable in animation but this is one of those eps that feels tailored to my likes! #also some paranoia agent ep it made me think of lol #ughhh but yeah. my heart hurts for megumi more seeing him animated this season in ways I didn’t feel while reading #you can tell he’s a 15 year old kid who’s struggling a lot with who he is and tries to act collected and mature #when clearly he’s not okay 😭 #excited for next ep!! we only got the SLIGHTEST glimpse of uraume so hoping the scene is good next ep #jujutsu kaisen season 2 #jogo #sukuna #fushiguro megumi
