Students and Teacher from Dantewada Selected for India International Science Festival

Two students and a teacher from Aastha Vidya Mandir English Medium School, Education City Jawanga, Geedam block of Dantewada district have been selected to participate in the 9th India International Science Festival (IISF) 2023 edition, which will be held from 17 to 20 January 2024 at Faridabad, Haryana.

The students, Sagar Bhaskar and Raino Raj Markam, will join the Chhattisgarh state team in the Student Science Village event, where they will showcase their scientific projects and interact with eminent scientists and innovators. The teacher, Amujuri Biswanath, will also take part in various events such as Education for Aspirational India - National Science Teacher Workshop, Science through Games and Toys, Vigyanika Science Literature Festival and National Social Organization and Institutions Meet.

The theme of the festival is “Public Outreach of Science and Technology in Amrit Kaal”, which aims to celebrate and highlight the achievements and contributions of Indian science, technology and innovation to the world.

The Prime Minister of India, Honorable Narendra Modi, along with other ministers, officials and foreign ministers and delegates will address the festival, which will feature various activities such as seminars, exhibitions, competitions, workshops, technology shows and more. The festival is expected to attract over 10 lakh participants from across the country and abroad.

The Dantewada Collector Mayank Chaturvedi, District Panchayat CEO Kumar Bishwaranjan, District Education Officer Pramod Thakur, BEO Sheikh Rafiq, Aastha Vidya Mandir Principal Gopal Pandey and all teachers of the education department congratulated the students and the teacher for their achievement and wished them success in the festival. They also expressed their hope that the participation of the students and the teacher in the IISF will inspire and motivate other students and teachers in the district to pursue and promote science and technology.

Allerdings ist die Cheating-Überwachung optimiert worden. Der Twitter-Account der DSOL wird nicht mehr bespielt, weil der DSB nur noch auf seinen Hauptaccounts posten will. Gespielt werden kann mit aktuellen Versionen der von ChessBase vertriebenen Programme (kostenpflichtig, nur Windows): Fritz 18 und 17 (bzw. andere Programme, die eine dieser Fritzoberflächen benutzen), Chessbase 15, 16 und 17. Der Playchess-Client ist umsonst und muß zwingend benutzt werden, wenn man als Mannschaftsleiter tätig ist. Wichtig: Bitte immer die neuesten Updates einspielen! Wer kein Windows hat oder aus anderen Gründen keines der vorgenannten Programme nutzen möchte, kann auch über die kostenlose WebApp im Browser mitspielen bzw. zuschauen.
