hear me out: max is a met policeman who has been in deep cover espionage for a long time, so long that he is starting to forget where his real life ends and his crime persona begins. he does what he needs to survive, pretending like the underbelly of the world doesn’t disgust him anymore. then there’s george, who max seems to remember from a hazy dream - was it so long ago they used to play blind man’s bluff at copse meadow together as kids? ah, george. always scorned by polite society because of his class, always so eager to please others, doing whatever it takes to feed that relentless ambition. george also happens to be a rising star in the wolff street syndicate, which is making increasing incursions in the turf of the red bulls, the mob that max is undercover in.

as tensions rise between the groups, and new mayor hamilton has made it clear that he intends to crack down on organised crime in the city, time is running out. for max to exit the bulls, and george to prove his loyalty to the wolffs.

who will triumph? or rather, in two brutal worlds lived in shadows and built on tragedy, who will be the smartest to survive?

My fiancé hasn’t watched 9-1-1 since Ghost Stories (5x7) and I’ve only told him like the bare minimum of what’s happened. Now he wants to start watching again because apparently seeing me so invested to the point I insure we have easy meals on Monday nights bc I get too absorbed into the episodes to actually cook, it’s piqued his interest. (He stopped watching bc of Ghost Stories, and I didn’t blame him). He really doesn’t see the buddie aspect, he mainly watched bc he likes the emergencies. He wants me watch with him and I somehow have to be unbiased and pretend I don’t know what is to come. I also have to deal with seeing TayKay on my screen. Ugh. But I love him and will watch with him. Maybe I can help him see how in love those two firefighters are, as a secondary agenda.

e know, there could be a mountain like that. And with the mountain, comes the timelines. And with the timelines, come the universes. And then there would be a multiverse. We’d be lucky as normal humans to do so much as think of it. If i try hard enough, i can fade into the dreams. The dreams. The one thing that kept me going. I was in control of them, but at the same time, i was merely watching them. I wish i could live there. Others writing reminds me of my own self. I am reflected in a painting of words, on a canvas of pixels, no bigger than my head. Amazing. The dreams are my own canvas. Reaching into them could be my big break. My freedom from here. The library! It opened back up earlier this week. I could use it to look up whether there are any missing children around one mountain. I could be the lucky one. The 8th. Or this could all be an elaborate lie, fabricated by me brain. My brain, the brain that plans my demise every day. It wouldn’t be too bad. My parents probably wouldn’t notice me being gone. Glass child, i’m called. It means they just see my brother. before i know it, My pocket knife is in my bag, along with Some chocolate, my phone, a piwerbank, my set of screws, and of course my headphones. I could get to there and back in a day. The library isn’t that far. And if i’m lucky, the mountain could be the one across the road. Some extra cash, and i’m off. I know the bus times like the back of my hand. What ones i need to take, how reliable they are, if they’ll be empty. A bus pulled up. I scanned my card, and hopped on. The beginning of my journey.
