The horseback "insurgents” in Bandits of Golak are a reference to the dacoits (bandits) of northwestern India. Charuk calls the bandits “rebels,” harkening back to some historical/famous dacoits as people who also resisted/fought the British Empire.
The people of Golak are rebelling against the Galactic Empire where people of India rebelled against the British Empire.

I want to start adding text descriptions to stuff i reblog, do you have any advice? is there a guide or something you use, the style of your IDs is very nice.
hey! thats great that you want to start writing IDs. I've reblogged guides before and ill tag this post with the tag they're in (image descriptions) so its easy to browse!
in addition to those other resources, here's some guidelines i personally keep in mind, & what i structure different IDs like.
for text transcripts: source & type of image, author, date if possible. here are some pretend/template IDs:
ID. a twitter screenshot from user @.[username] dated [date] that reads: "[tweet]." End ID.
i put the period after the @ symbol so it doesnt try to tag a nonexistent (or unrelated) user on this site, and a screenreader will just pause there briefly.
ID. a photo of a page from the book [name] by [author]. text reads: [transcript]. End ID.
if the OP cited the author/book/source, you can just do "Transcript: [text]. End transcript."
for actual images:
type of image is really important!
photograph, edited photograph, reaction image, edited reaction image, painting, digital painting, digital drawing, etc. you should always put what kind of image it is.
keep in mind the purpose of the image!
if its an art piece or a photo of one, its good to describe the medium, style, colors, and subject.
if it's a reaction image or other meme, you don't have to describe the surroundings in loving detail. the "point" of the image is enough.
if its a photograph, it might also be an art piece, or from the news, or someone sharing their pet. the amount and kind of detail again depends on the point of the image.
don't make judgements or assumptions!
dont describe things as badly drawn or badly photographed- and on the flip side, dont describe things as cute or beautiful. describe whats in the image, not how it makes you feel. if you love a certain part of how a photograph is framed, or how the light is painted in a piece of art, say that specifically. "beautiful" means nothing! do you mean realistic? vibrantly colored? "cute" means nothing! do you mean in a cartoony style? or that the subject matter is a cat, which many people find cute? be specific!
dont make statements about the gender or race of the people in the photo or art piece, especially if it's real people (like a news photo) unless you know those things as a fact (celebrities, fictional characters, people you know personally, people where it is mentioned in the article the photo is from). you can just describe things like hair length, skin tone, etc. exceptions to this rule imo are stock photos- eg if im captioning my favorite stock photo of all time, cyber woman with corn, i am going to describe it as "a stock photo of a white woman in a futuristic silver and black wraparound visor, wearing a silver bodysuit and cradling an ear of corn near her face and smiling slightly."
here are some example descriptions, all from images i have on my phone.
Tumblr media
ID. a photo of two cats laying head to head on someones outstretched legs, which are under a blanket. one cat is an orange tabby, and the other is a gray and white splotched tabby. End ID.
the point of this image is my cats- im not going to spend time describing the blanket, the couch, the stuff you can see in the background, bc it's not relevant to the image, and adds nothing.
Tumblr media
ID. a photo taken through a rainy window at twilight, with the camera focused on the raindrops on the glass, so the lights in the houses across the street are out of focus. the lights reflect on the wet pavement in a warm yellow glow. End ID.
i took this the other night bc i thought it looked cool how blurry it was- id consider this more of an "art" photo, so im describing the aspects of the framing etc that make it that- i wasnt just trying to show how rainy it was, but to take a photo in an interesting way, so those traits are "worth" describing.
Tumblr media
ID. a photo of an acrylic painting done on a cardboard packing envelope of a city street at sunset, all the building windows reflecting gold. there are purple fluffy clouds in the sky, lit from below with peach and gold. the USPS tracking number barcode is still visible in the gap between houses at the end of the street. the brush strokes are very visible, the perspective is wonky, and the orange underpainting is visible at the edges. End ID.
this is a new ID for something i painted and already posted and i dont feel like getting the old ID. medium, style, and specific details i think are important are included. the perspective being wonky is a bit of a value judgement i wouldn't make about Other people's art, but it's my own and i think its an important detail so!
Tumblr media
ID. an edited catcrumb comic, showing a simple mspaint illustration of a cat happily sorting things into piles with the caption, "sort sort. i love to arbitrarily sort." the cat has been colored in gray and its ears have been colored like homestuck troll horns, and the sorting piles replaced with some classpect symbols. End ID.
this is a good example of a edited image- its important to give (to some degree) a sense of what the original image was, say that its edited, and describe the changes. i dont need to list the classpect symbols i put on there, bc its not relevant to the message of the image- it would do nothing but make the ID longer.
oh- and to cap off the post- here is cyber woman with corn:
Tumblr media
ID. a stock photo of a white woman in a futuristic silver and black wraparound visor, wearing a silver bodysuit and cradling an ear of corn near her face and smiling slightly. End ID.

This is gonna be a vent post, and I will preface that it's personal issues and not fandom-centric. The fandom (overall) is lovely and supportive. In no way is this going to be a call out or vague post. 95% of the issue is internal.
(read below the cute if you want, just needed to type it all out)
I'm honestly just so tired. Tired of making content, memes, text posts. I still get joy out of it, but maybe I'm burned out. Not sure. I think I want to limit original posts to once a day instead of the two to three posts I have been doing. I would hate to stop posting all together.
Perhaps slow down on the memes, I feel like I am recycling jokes a lot, and even using templates multiple times. I honestly think I have run out of templates that are usable lololol but that's expected after about eight years of straight daily memeing.
This blog and all the fans and followers bring forth such joy. I still wanna reblog art, old and new. I love seeing a post get traction because I reblogged it. Makes me happy.
This blog is a big part of me, and I don't feel the need to abandon it yet, not that dire right now. I think I need a break, but I feel that would disappoint people :( Maybe I'd feel more inspired if I didn't put so much stock into content and likes/reblogs. I don't know.
Any thoughts or comments is welcome. Asks, whatever. I would love to hear what you all think and your experiences in burnout.
If you read all that, thank you for in your own way, listening <3

Hi there! Please take a look at accessiblepublishing dot ca's guide to image description. There's a few mistakes in your transcribing and since you're sharing templates for other people to copy and paste, these mistakes are just going to multiply. A couple in particular I've noticed are: overly lengthy/confusing descriptors, paragraph breaks, restating plain text (screen readers already read plain text), restating audio, using styles in post, and using personal opinion in descriptors. It's great that you want to help make things more accessible, but please work to standardize your descriptors if you're going to be instructing others.
Hi, anon!! I really appreciate the feedback!! First, I actually have been dragging my feet for ages on fixing our earliest descriptions on the meme templates doc, so I will take this as my push to pare some of them down and make them clearer! I'll do my best to respond to everything here, going under the assumption that you mostly mean the descriptions I post on Tumblr rather than the ones on the doc:
Overly lengthy descriptors: I'm always working on this! I imagine my biggest offense on this is for comic IDs, but I generally intend for those to convey some manner of the style and flow of the art. I would actually appreciate being sent feedback on specific offenders if you want to show me where I've gone wrong!
Paragraph breaks: I write IDs as intended for plain text rather than alt, generally, but alt on Tumblr supports line breaks anyway. (The meme doc was also aimed for plain text, given the "ID: / End ID" formatting.) As I have seen a few sources saying paragraph breaks aid readability and I (a sighted person) definitely can't read long blocks of text, and I don't think I'm going to stop using paragraph breaks. I'm genuinely sorry if this is an inconvenience, but it is always okay to take my IDs and edit them as necessary if they don't measure up! (Also, I swear to god I don't say this to be petty, I'm trying to cover my bases because I haven't seen paragraph breaks being advised against in descriptions before: the accessiblepublishing guide also uses paragraph breaks in its examples for alt text? Do you have reasoning or other sources to explain why paragraph breaks are bad?)
Plain text: I take cues from posts like this one on plain text! Tl;dr, plain text is still important for low vision users who may not use screenreaders, and screenreaders also can struggle with special fonts or gradient text, so it's worth adding transcripts
Restating audio: I'm... not sure what this means? Are you talking about audio transcriptions? I will take advice on those if given, sorry I didn't catch your meaning!
Styles: I try very hard to use fully plain text except bold fonts for IDs, with the very occasional phrase in caps lock or italics, and wasn't aware I was overusing formatting otherwise? The people's accessibility server once advised my friend and me on doing a series of long comic descriptions and generally stated that bold was the most readable kind of special formatting, so that's what I go for. I'll keep an eye on it!
Personal opinions: I'll keep an eye on this as well, thanks for letting me know! (I'd thought I was doing a good job, do you have examples for me to look over?)
Sorry this was so long, I wanted to be thorough! Thanks again anon, I am always open to feedback on my descriptions!! Have a great day!!!

Hello Friends! I'm avoiding doing actual work that I'm getting paid for, so I thought I'd document some of my history on Tumblr:
My first Tumblr post was on August 24, 2009. I was a LiveJournal guy, but my gf at the time (Kristi Hart) used Tumblr. I joined because of her.
My first posts for the first couple of years were actually syndicated from LiveJournal. I didn't reblog anything or post any content original to Tumblr. Then in 2011 I started syndicating pictures to Tumblr using a site I'm surprised still exists today called Moby! I just looked, all of the pictures are still there! Here's one of my kids from 2011 at the Salton Sea.
A year later, in June of 2012 I decided my Tumblr needed a focus. I had a pretty large collection of behind-the-scene images from movies, so that became all I posted.
Some random examples: Behind the scenes of Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window, The Dark Crystal, Phantasm II, Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Neverending Story
That continued on for several months, I probably posted 100+ of them.
In July of 2012 I created my @frankenbuddha account, since @dasenergi was solely "Behind The Scenes" movie posts, I needed someplace to post all my nerdy, lgbt, Buddhist, spiritual stuff.
By the end of 2012, I had given up on the "Behind The Scenes" posts on DasEnergi. They weren't getting any likes.
I abandoned FrankenBuddha and resumed posting all my nerdy, lgbt, Buddhist, and spiritual stuff on DasEnergi.
Two years later, my youngest child joined Tumblr in 2014. They were 13 years old. They came to Tumblr for all the cat posts! So I then used Frankenbuddha to collect all the cat and animal posts I could find, and share it with them. FrankenBuddha is STILL cute animal and humor posts now.
On DasEnergi, I started making a lot of my own memes and then added a bunch of tags to them, trying to attract followers. Here is one that was 100% true "I am desperate to just really connect with one other person." I was so depressed and felt so alone at the time. Here's another, "I have a crush on everybody who is nice to me."
I also posted a lot of selfies, trying to make that human connection with others. Here I am trying to look tough.
I also posted more about my life and my feelings back then. There's this one: "I’m considering shaving the beard. Maybe I’ll find someone who’ll love me if I’m clean-cut." I felt so broken. So unlovable.
Here's a creepy one from a year later, November 2013 - "Why yes, I did just go through the GPOY tag and liked a bunch of strangers pictures. I couldn’t help myself. They’re cute!"
As my tags strategy wasn't working, I was Liking people's posts trying to make connections and build my followers.
For those who may be too young to remember, GPOY is an acronym for Gratuitous Picture of Yourself. I don't think it's used anymore, is it?
Looking back on my archive, I had also realized in 2012-2013 that the only way to get followers on Tumblr was to reblog others work. So I started doing that a lot more.
I've always collected quotes. In high school I would spend my lunch break in the school library reading quotes from Bartlett's Book of Familiar Quotations. In 2013, I see I started posting a lot more text posts of quotes from my archive. I remember Tumblr even had an automated template I'd use for quotes.
Wow, yeah, as I'm scrolling through the archive they're mostly text posts, of quotes.
In 2014 I see I started posting A LOT more, and it seems to be 50/50 memes and text quotes. I also see fewer posts about my life and fewer pictures of myself. My mental health was much better. I wasn't seeking validation from Tumblr. This was the year I had my Awakening experience and fully embraced the magical and the spiritual. This was also the year I started dating Geronimo, my first boyfriend.
Right now I'm scanning through April 2014 and it looks nearly identical to what I'm posting now. Yep! The blog as you all know it now has been around for nearly ten years.
8,882 Posts 1,062 Followers 1,060 Following
I currently have 302 posts in my queue. I only queue five posts a day between 7pm and 10pm (Pacific time).
@male1971 has been around since September 2016 for all my nerdy posts, most from my childhood. (I identify as a male and I was born in 1971.)
@bi-buddha has been around since February 2019 for my LGBT posts.
@moovees and @melodiousmonk are both new, created last year for my music and movies posts.
And that's about it for my main side blogs. If you actually read this whole thing, THANK YOU for your interest in my Tumblr history.
I had some cringeworthy moments there, mostly healing from my 15 year relationship with my ex-wife and my five year relationship with Kristi Hart. But I'd like to think I made it out of those dark times a better, wiser, person. (Or I'm in deep denial about how depressed and messed up I still am.)
Okay, back to work...

hi there :> im new to tumblr roleplay blogs and i was wondering, if you have the time, would you be willing to explain how it all works? i really want to start roleplaying on tumblr but it all seems so confusing. i understand that you're busy and have other commitments so if this is too much, please let me know. other than that, i hope you have a great day thanks so much for taking the time to read this <3
I just logged on 'cos I've been too busy on @korinthiakos but yeah! I can explain it. Though it gets simpler eventually once you get used to it. I'll just give you the terms: Mun = You Muse = Your characters Multi-muse = multiple characters on one blog Single-muse = Just a blog dedicated to one character IC = In character OOC = Out of character
There's probably more but that's just off the top of my head.
People would prefer you to have rules and an about page for your character/characters. You can check mine for an example. You can use things like carrd or google sites/docs to make these. I can always help you find templates. Though carrd has a 50 element limit. So if you don't feel like using money on your carrd account, then I highly recommend google sites or docs. Because it's free and there's some good templates out there for them. I think mainly for docs?
People will also prefer to interact with mutuals only. Meaning both you and the other person must follow each other. X-Kit & X-Kit Rewritten are good due to their mutual checker. There's also some neat theres on there as well. Like trimming posts. ( Which you can get on X-Kit Rewritten! ) 'cos you'll probably be met with the beta editor on tumblr.
Ask memes ( like sentence starters, which you can find on any kind of ask meme blog ) is a great ice break starter. But you can also throw out starter calls or inbox calls. Starter calls are just basically starting a thread. You can do one-liner starter calls, etc. And inbox calls are just simply going through someone's meme tag and sending them ask memes. Oh!  And promos!  If you want to get yourself out there,  best to do it with a promo!  Text promos are easier.  Though if you need help with that,  also do ask me <3
But I think that's about it? If you have any more questions, do ask <3 and I hope you have a fun time on here!

who needs IDs, how do they help and why are they used? i've always been curious, i mean no harm by asking, so sorry if this is rude
Not rude at all anon, I'm so glad you asked!! Image descriptions are accessibility aids for vision-impaired folks and anyone who may have issues parsing an image (ex: an autistic person unable to comprehend a visually busy art piece). For people who can't see an image for any reason, IDs provide a way to understand what's on screen, whether it's a meme or tweet or art. For example, a blind person using a screen reader (a device that reads text out loud) wouldn't know what an undescribed all-image post was talking about, but with an ID they could know it's a tweet and then a meme mocking it
IDs can look abstruse and intimidating when you're unfamiliar with them, but I promise they're not! The simplest step to making your blog more accessible is scanning the notes of a post to find a comment with an ID and reblogging that version of the post instead! If you're interested in learning how to write your own IDs, I really love this post as a resource, plus the amazing People's Accessibility Server if you have questions or want to request descriptions! I'd also like to plug my pinned post, which has a link to a doc with templates for a ton of memes so you can describe posts yourself!
I hope this wasn't too much text and that your question was answered clearly, anon! Please feel free to go through my "image descriptions" and "accessibility" tags for more info!

Copying tags in accessible ways on mobile
(Large text: Copying tags in accessible ways on mobile)
People screenshot tags all the time, whether to share a funny joke or add important commentary, but they often don't realize that this is inaccessible to vision-impaired people and many others. This is a problem because a lot of people primarily use Tumblr on the mobile app, which doesn't let you interact with tags at all unless you screenshot them. However, accessibility is always worth the extra time and effort you can spare, so here are some ways for you to easily copy tags without spending too much of either!
Image-to-text softwares
(Large text: Image-to-text softwares)
If you simply must screenshot those tags, you can still convert them back into usable text! There are plenty of easy-to-use websites that allow you to take any downloaded image and extract the text from them. I prefer onlineocr.net, but the Google Translate app has the same feature! All you need to do is input the image and hit the button, and it'll spit out the text for you to copy. This method is fantastic for images with lots of text, not to mention it's easy to do and generally accurate, and I use it all the time to great effect!
Going to browser
(Large text: Going to browser)
If you're on mobile, it's probably a safe bet to say that your phone also has a browser app. If so, all you need to do to copy the tags from a post is copy the link of said post into a browser and then copy the tags from there. This method can mean extra formatting, since hashtags and links won't copy over, but it's relatively low-effort to do and doesn't take long at all!
Going on PC
(Large text: Going on PC)
If you're on mobile, you can also consider saving the post with desired tags to your drafts. This means you can easily access it on another device, aka a computer, and copy the tags there! Copying tags on desktop is possibly the easiest way to do it, since all you need to do is highlight the text and paste it later- it'll even save the link formatting when you do! The only extra step you might have to do is add spaces between the tags, since they'll automatically come smushed together and only separated by hashtags. This method might mean you take a little longer to reblog the tags, but it is very much worth it to make the post accessible to all!
Going forth
(Large text: Going forth)
These methods are a smidgen more effort than just screenshotting or prev tagging, but I don't think it's a bad tradeoff at all! I hope this can provide quick and easy ways for everyone to get more used to thinking more conscientiously about accessibility. And these aren't your only options- alt text helps people who use screenreaders, and you should always add an image description below screenshots if you're going to add them. Hope this helps!
TL;DR: Instead of screenshotting tags, which makes them inaccessible, other options are: using image-to-text software, copying the tags on a mobile browser, or copying them on desktop Tumblr.

How to Keep Doing Descriptions (from someone who does a fuckton)
Plain text: How to Keep Doing Descriptions (from someone who does a fuckton)
This is a list aimed mostly at helping people who already write IDs; for guides at learning how to do them yourself, check my accessibility and image description tags! I write this with close to two years of experience with IDs and chronic pain :)
Get used to writing some IDs by using both your phone and your computer, if you can! I find it easier to type long-form on my laptop, so I set up videos and long comics on my phone, which I then prop up against my laptop screen so I can easily reference the post without constantly scrolling or turning my head
I will never stop plugging onlineocr.net. I use it to ID six-word tags, screenshots of posts, and even comic dialogue! On that last note, convertcase.net can convert text between all-caps, lowercase, sentence case, and title case, which is super helpful
Limit the number of drafts/posts-to-be-described you save. No, seriously. I never go above 10 undescribed drafts on any of my four blogs. It doesn’t have to be that low, but this has done wonders (italics: wonders) for my productivity and willingness to write IDs. If I ever get above that limit, even if it’s two or three more, I immediately either describe the lowest-effort post or purge some, and if I can't do that then I stop saving things to drafts no matter what. No exceptions! Sticking to this will make your life so much easier and less stressful
My pinned post has a link to a community doc of meme description templates!
Ask! For! Help! Please welcome to the stage the People’s Accessibility Server! It’s full of lovely people and organized into channels where you can request/volunteer descriptions and ask/answer questions
I make great use of voice-to-text and glide typing on my phone to save my hands some effort!
Something is always better than nothing!!! A short two-sentence or one-sentence ID is better than no ID at all. Take it easy :)
If you feel guilty about being unable to reblog amazing but undescribed art, try getting into the habit of replying to OP’s post to let them know you liked it! This makes me feel less pressured to ID absolutely everything I see
I frequently find myself looking at pieces of art which feel like they need to be considered for a bit before I can write an ID for them, and those usually get thrown into drafts, where the dread for writing a comprehensive ID just builds. Don’t do that! Instead, try just staying in the reblog field for a bit and focus on the most relevant aspects of the piece. Marinate on them for a little; don’t rush, but don’t spend more than a handful of seconds either. I find after that the art becomes way easier to describe than it initially seemed!
On that note, look for shortcuts that make IDs less taxing for you to do! For example, I only ever describe clothes in art if they're relevant to the piece; not doing that every time saves a lot of time and energy for me personally
Building off of that, consider excusing yourself from a particular kind of ID if you want to. Give yourself a free pass for 4chan posts, or fanart by an artist who does really good but really complex comics, whatever. Let it be someone else's responsibility and feel twice as proud about the work that you can now allot more energy to!
As always, make an effort to find and follow fellow describers! It’s always encouraging to get described posts on your dash, and I find that sometimes I'm happier to ID an undescribed post when the person who put it on my dash is a friend who tagged it with "no ID"
TL;DR: To make ID-writing less stressful and more low-effort, use different devices and software like onlineocr.net and voice-to-text, limit the amount of work you expect yourself to do, and reach out to artists and other describers!

Rules
First of all, thank you for visiting this page!)
I don’t have very long nor very strict rules, but there are a few things I’d like to point out:
And the main rule in interacting with me is that this blog is hate free. I don’t have anything against drama and hate as long as it stays within the threads and our muses’ relationships. But OOC drama and anon hate I just won’t tolerate. This is a hobby, after all. It shouldn’t be stressful.
I’m selective in a way that I will most likely answer to what I see happening for my muse and what I have muse for at the moment, but I’m not mutuals only, which means that you are more than welcome to send me asks / memes / anything and come say hi in DMs even if we are not mutuals!
I’m OC and Crossover friendly, but only if I’m familiar with your character (for most Crossovers) or if you have an about page in your blog or won’t mind telling me some basics about your character so I could see how our muses could click (for OCs and those Crossovers with whose fandoms I’m not familiar). That said, I love crossovers and absolutely adore OCs!
I love shipping dearly, but, unsurprisingly, it will be based on chemistry. I'm open to exploring new ships but my one no-go, as mentioned in my pinned post, is Rachel x Ross. Just no. If you write Ross, I don't mind writing with you, just not shippy stuff between him and Rachel.
That said, I’m more than open to the idea of a pre-established relationship! And it doesn’t necessarily have to be a romantic one. I’m all for platonic, antagonistic, found family etc. kinds of dynamics... Just pop in my DMs, and I’m sure we can figure something out)
When it comes to asks / memes and open starters, as I’ve already said before, you are more than welcome to send them in, regardless of whether we are mutuals or interacted before. I love to chat and roleplay with new people! The date I posted the meme or open starter doesn’t matter either as they don’t have an expiration date)
Sending more than one ask / meme is allowed and encouraged! (Seriously, I love working with memes!)
If you have an idea, there are big chances that I will try it, so don’t be shy to DM me!
My length very much depends on the particular thread and my partner’s length, but I’m usually writing para/multi-para. I use minimal formatting - bold and italics (also, small text at times, but only if you’re using it too / comfortable with it) - and 540 x 100 character banners with 45x45 icons and either 60x60 or 100x100 plain icons / 110x110 icons with border or go iconless.
I don’t really have triggers, but if you do - let me know about them and I’ll be tagging them.
No God-modding, obviously.
If you are a personal blog, you are free to follow me, but, please, DO NOT like my starter calls and DO NOT reblog my threads.
I must admit that I can be quite slow with replies and a bit forgetful, so you are free to poke me once in a while. But don’t nag me constantly, that makes me nervous and uncomfortable.
If you follow me, I will most likely follow you back if I had a look at your blog, but I will unfollow you if you post too many unrelated to the theme of your blog content or make me feel uncomfortable.
credit for my character banners template goes to @stephysource (it's banner 05) and for my header gif to @princesconsuela

🌹  /wenq1ng:  an  independent  and  selective  writing  blog  for wen qing  of  the untamed / mdzs.  multi-ship  and  multi-verse. knowledge  of  the  series  is  not  needed  to  interact.  strictly  21+  interactions  only.
THIS  BLOG  IS  LOW  ACTIVITY  AND  A SIDEBLOG.  if  you  are  not  into  that,  please  don't  follow.  memes  have  no  expiration  and  inbox  is  always  open.  ask  for  discord  when  plotting.  please  read  rules  before  interacting.  bigots, personals and  minors  dni!
protected  by  honey  bee,  twenty1+,  any  pronouns.  sideblog, follows  back  from  @seraphiqal. rules under cut.
rules.
001. general rp etiquette is expected and should be reciprocated. no godmodding or metagaming, no forcing ships, no ooc drama. just don’t be a jerk. anon will never be enabled.
002. this blog is largely based on interactions with my mutuals and people i’ve already written with. if i follow you first, it means i can see us writing together! if at any point you would like to break mutuals, please softblock.
003. chemistry-based dynamics are my main focus on this blog. please don’t hesitate to approach me to test out a dynamic or to if a plot on my wishlist interests you! for canon characters, i would rather be approached about any canon ships first.
004. all triggers are tagged as “trigger tw/cw” without censoring the trigger word itself. please let me know if there’s anything i should tag, or if i missed anything. in return, please tag the following: rape, suicide or suicidal ideation, graphic depictions of self-harm, images of rodents and snakes. while mature and occasionally dark themes will be discussed on this blog, they will never be romanticized. no taboo plots will be written.
005. the best way to interact with me is to continue answered memes into threads, or vice versa. reblogged memes have no expiration date. i am also down for winging things and going for pre-established relationships. never feel obligated to match length or reply as fast as i do. generally, i don’t practice reblog karma.
006. i am on permanently slow activity due to being busy irl and some health issues. i’d like to come on here as a way to relax. the occasional nudge is fine but please do not pressure me or guilt trip me for how fast or slow i reply. speed =/= interest.
007. formatting on this blog will be very minimal and i will occasionally mirror my writing partner’s style. regular and small text will be used, with the occasional gif. no icons will be used. please do not overly format our replies with very small text as i have a hard time reading them.
008. i will only write smut with people i am comfortable with. i’m asexual and my interest in this tends to fluctuate. not a huge fan of smut just for the sake of writing smut. please respect this.
009. please be sure to look at my exclusives and mains list before interacting, to avoid any awkwardness.
010. i claim no ownership or affiliation with the creator of the series wen qing is from. any templates or psds used will be credited on seraphmuses (under the tag in use: wenq1ng). please do not take any writing from this blog, as those are mine unless otherwise specified. headcanons and interpretation are my own.

𝐚𝐬𝐡. 𝐬𝐡𝐞/𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲. 𝟐𝟎. independent and highly selective 𝐉𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐘 𝐅𝐈𝐓𝐙𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋𝐃 of the 𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐝𝐲'𝐬 franchise. low activity & mutuals only. heavily headcanon based. uses beta editor. sideblog to @bravevolunteer. feel free to send any questions, ims are open, and discord is available to mutuals! important links are listed below.
ABOUT / VERSES / MAIN BLOG
𝐑𝐔𝐋𝐄𝐒:
intro: this is a selective and low activity blog for jeremy fitzgerald of fnaf— if you didn't already come from here, this is a sideblog that follows from @bravevolunteer. all of my blogs already vary in activity, as i am a college student/employed, however this blog is especially going to prioritize interactions with friends and is mutuals only. my interpretation of jeremy is based solely on headcanons so i ask that you read the info linked above.
graphics: i will be iconless for the time being, as i do not have a faceclaim. the psd i use for graphics is "lunar diviner" by acgroecs and the template for my post banners is by reverierph. other credit templates or psds will be aded if needed.
triggers/nsfw content: due to the nature of fnaf, triggering and heavy subjects will appear on this blog: including, but not limited to violence, injury, death, (child) murder, gore, & traumatic brain damage. all triggering topics will be tagged as "trigger tw". if you would like me to tag a topic for you, don't be afraid to ask. though very selective and rare, if suggestive/nsfw content appears, it will be tagged as "nsfw tw".
following: this blog is mutuals only and once again i will be prioritizing plotting, but i am a very open writer— the best way to interact with me is to approach with some sort of concept in mind or send a meme. personals will be blocked; if you have an rp sideblog, either have it listed somewhere on your blog or let me know. in addition, if you are not me or my writing partner, please do not reblog my threads, headcanons, ooc posts, or any original posts unless i specify it's alright.
selectivity: i reserve the right to choose which blogs i will interact with. obviously, i won't follow if there is any bigotry, pedophilia, incest, or anything like that on your blog. i do not interact with genderbent muses, and absolutely do not interact if you write smut with characters who are -18, age them up for smut, or ship them with adults. i do not have a specific dni, but i do prefer that you tag urls for interactions.
i'm definitely open to and love original characters and other fandoms, as long as there is info detailing who your character is. full disclosure, i am hesitant when it comes to interacting with other michael aftons, due to him being my main fnaf muse and... well, the reason for my brainrot lmao. this doesn't mean i'm not open to it, but rather that i can be a little more selective and likely will not reach out first. it's not specifics about anybody, it's my thing!
writing/formatting: pretty much the basics of roleplay. please do not godmod my muse ( unless discussed beforehand ) and major things such as serious injuries, events, or death should be talked about first. i'm open to just about any type of writing: one liners, multi-para, and novella are all fair game, although i tend to write too much, so shorter threads may end up longer.
this is an iconless blog. i use small text and words that are bolded and italicized. i answer most serious asks in new posts in order to keep threads organized. i don't mind most formats/whether or not you use icons, but i do prefer cut posts.
relationships: i don't mind pre-established relationships as long as they aren't too drastic. any serious friendships/relationships must be discussed beforehand. i ship chemistry— i'm pretty open to and encourage different ships ( especially with friends ), but i won't ship right away in a regular case. i'd rather our muses get to know each other and plot out/develop a relationship.
psa: i will be mentioning michael in my posts / reblogging posts to do with their dynamic— every mention of michael, unless otherwise specified, is referring to my version of michael! while, again, i can be open to interacting with others, i ask that you please do not apply any of the specific events i talk about with them to your muse or j.eremike headcanons. this is because, when i mention this, they are part of a personal narrative / timeline that is intended for my own fanwork! i don't think it is fair to me or anyone else to apply those ideas to another michael or jeremy muse in an rp sense. of course, this is only for... real details and my personal interpretations of both characters, feel free to snag my musings posts idc LMAO this does mean, that despite those mentions, in the case that i do interact with michaels on here ( and jeremys on my main blog! ), i would prefer starting fresh with mutual plotting for that dynamic! also of course, other muses ( especially those i have dynamics with on michael >:3 ) are free to acknowledge it, this only applies to the two relevant characters here
end: thank you for reading my rules! i know some of the specifications might come off a bit harsh, but i am very open and easygoing with most things. my inbox and ims are always open, and mutuals are welcome to ask for my discord.

Attention Monster High Fandom
Please Read!!!
I'd like to spread awareness about the use of image descriptions/transcripts! I've found Monster High fan content is often lacking in image descriptions and transcripts which make content accessible to blind, visually impaired, deaf, and HOH people, as well as those with poor internet connection.
As a fandom that praises the diversity in Monster High, it would be wonderful to make content that is more accessible and inclusive to disabled people.
Don't feel bad if you haven't been using them before! There's no time like the present to start. Below the cut are some general tips I've added for writing image descriptions/ids, as well as links to basic guides and tips if anyone needs them.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read! I would really appreciate if people reblogged this to increase its reach.
My Tips
Always check the notes for ids! Even if you don't have the time to write one yourself, at least you'll know that you tried.
Don't expect your blog to be 100% accessible (especially right away)! Image descriptions take time, and no one is judging you for not being able to describe everything. Sometimes you'll forget or won't be able to make one, etc, and that's okay!
If someone adds a description to content you have created, please feel free to copy and paste it into your original post. This works even better than reblogging the id to your blog because the original piece is more likely to show up in tags and be reblogged, etc.
I am personally fine with anyone copy and pasting my ids without credit, which seems to be a popular opinion, but one can always ask the creator or credit them
If someone incorrectly ids your work, correct them politely or make your own. Keep in mind that they chose to describe your content to the best of their ability, but since they are not the artist, it's impossible for them to describe the piece exactly as you imagined it.
It takes time to get good at image descriptions. The best advice I can give is start with basic text, tweets, and simple photos before moving on to audio transcriptions and detailed art.
Don't be afraid to mess up! You're going to struggle at first but that's okay. Any id written in good faith is better than no id at all.
You don't have to be a content creator to add descriptions! Ideally, creators should be adding their own, but transcribers are valuable members of the fandom and can absolutely create image ids for content that isn't theirs.

Note
hello i want to start doing more image descriptions, for my own posts and for undescribed posts on my dash, i was wondering if you had any tips for things to include? you're the reason i want to do it more so i thought you might be a good place to start but you don't have to answer this!
absolutely! this will probably be long.
so the first thing to keep in mind is like… there’s no one right way to do an image description. there are definitely wrong ways, which are usually just describing the image wrong, but there can be multiple “correct” descriptions for the same image. more on this later.
second is that describing tweets or memes can be a really easy way to get into describing images, because they’re fairly rigid. here is a document with templates for describing many memes:
the format for describing tweets is usually something like
Tumblr media
[ID: tweet by jamollie @/JG_Piff: “lack of editorial communication is so funny red x is monologuing about how wally killed roy and that’s literally not even what happened”. end ID.]
(example tweet is mine)
by the way you should always start with something like ID, Start ID, Image description, etc, and end with End ID, End image description, etc. this is so people know when the image description starts and ends. think of it like quotation marks in dialogue—even though you can probably figure out when people are talking without them, it’s easier and faster when they’re there.
this brings us to more complicated images i guess you would call them. i am going to describe the same picture of one of @amphibiousdyke’s cats, lulu, in multiple different ways
1. simple
Tumblr media
[ID: it is a picture of a cat. end ID.]
it’s very to-the-point and good if nothing about the image except that there’s a cat in it matters. if i was writing about cats and wanted random pictures, maybe.
2. slightly more detailed
Tumblr media
[ID: it is a cat. she appears to be glaring. end ID.]
here i call attention to her glare (she’s so good at it!!!) because i am probably having a conversation about glaring cats. think about what you want the reader to take away from an image, and point it out.
3. more/most detailed
Tumblr media
[ID: a photo of a very fluffy gray cat sitting upright and glaring at the viewer. her paws are held together very neatly. end ID.]
this is what i’d use if i was just going ”hey, look at this cat!” i focus on her paws because i think it’s funny how she hold them like that.
um i forgot. everything else.
oh also remember that people who use screenreaders aren’t the only ones who need image descriptions? also it usually isn’t a bad idea to look in the notes for image description, and you should follow people who Write image descriptions so you don’t feel like the only person doing it.
here’s the people’s accessibility discord where you can ask for image or video descriptions and audio transcripts, find resources, ask advice, etc.
i also have an image descriptions tag with more resources, which this post should automatically link to since it’s tagged with it

Principal skinner meme
The popularity of a meme depends on the fanbase of the meme. Some memes never make it to the mainstream but some outstanding memes carry their flags to much higher destinations making them visible to all the memeing world. This am i out of touch meme is one of them that took time but eventually made it to the global platform. This is a reaction image typically used to mock behaviour. In the reaction images, Skinner is either somewhat redrawn, or placed into a new context. A piece of slight information is provided and the image is shown with the text 'Pathetic' written below. This generated the so-called seymour meme. The picture is taken from the episode of The Simpsons, Bart the Genius of the season 1. In the episode, Principal Skinner is told that Bart has been vandalizing the side of the school, making Skinner stare down menacingly.
