A Decision…

Please read this-

Hey everyone, me again. I know I said I would not post about Forever anymore but then again I can’t promise anything.

Therefore I have a question to ask…

Should I leave the community…?

I wasn’t a big Forever viewer before the situation. I am a Philza viewer/crow and I’ve watched Phil’s stream longed then Qsmp started (and have caught most of his streams/vods) especially the ones with Forever in them and I feel like watching this vods is never going to be the same again and every time I watch them now I’m going to be disappointed, look at the memories and just wish that Forever truly could have been a better person. (I’m not defending his actions) I also was a big Sugarduo enjoyer and feel like if I watch these vods I’m going to feel how I felt about Forever before this situation came to light which is you know…

But at the same time I WANT to watch Qsmp because I love watching Philza and I used to love watching Forever and Philza interactions and I don’t know what to say or feel anymore.

Heck I won’t feel the same looking at old Tumblr posts I made about Forever/q!Forever

I don’t think I will ever feel the same way about Qsmp again. I just wanted a place to feel comfort and laugh but I don’t think it will feel the same anymore.

(Sorry if that sounded confusing I’m bad at words)

Sad part is I also don’t have any friends who watch Qsmp who would understand or support my decision or give me advice and I also have to deal with this situation and decision when I go back to school.

However at the same time I don’t want to leave because I love this server and this lovely community but I’m just so lost.

So if anyone could give advice of what to do and what you think is good for my mental health then I’ll try to follow it. For now I’ll be on a small hiatus.

I know I mostly lurk on this site but I have had these AU rotting in my brain for a month now so I’m just gonna share it here.

So far I’ve only seen like one person actually write about it on ao3 and I definitely don’t think I’m the only one to ever think about a crossover between JRWI Riptide and QSMP where slimecicle and Gillion are the same person but let me explain how that shit would work from my perspective.

The federation is really RAFT. making quesadilla island not only Navy turf, but really a prison. If I remember correctly they were all called sinners and criminals by the one eyed freak from Purgatory. What if it was some kind of prison for the worst of the worst in RAFTS eyes

And you know how we were seeing the leviathan bones and detailed explanations on the recreations of leviathans with jay at the stronghold in the Black Sea?

…what if the eggs were failed leviathan projects…

So I imagine the communicators as wrist watch type things, and what if the “communicators” not only translated the languages so they could understand each other, but also altered what they saw? What if they made them more digestible for their altered thinking? Yes there are hybrids on the island, gods/demigods as well.. but they are all human looking. Don’t you find it strange that on such a magical island, the craziest creatures to exist are the Dragonborn “eggs”?

So we see when he is in the luxpurus pearl that he had stabbed Jayson in the chest during the peace treaty meeting. The navy could have issued a statement where if the undersea government were to banish Gillion to the island prison, they would not immediately wage war on the undersea. (Keeping an eye on “undersea champion” the one to either wipe out the land or destroy the sea, and the undersea’s greatest protector sounds like 2 major pluses to me)

But he is so ashamed of himself for being banished, he hides his armor, whale bone sword and his shield. You know the shield with the religious symbol.

The symbols he casts ALL of his magic out of!!

because of Gillion’s moist skin, he gets dubbed slime by most of the other island residents.

And he doesn’t question the eggs because, fuck it he was one too!

And of course he is going to marry his egg protecting partner, he was raised religious and a good religious man marries, reproduces and dies in war!! Not only that but he can officiate it himself!!

And what if all their nights of… promising action… was just gill tearoom Mariana how to sword fight. And Flippa told the other residents that she would hear loud grunting downstairs after being put to bed, the other parents took it the wrong way. And Gillion-committed to the bit-Tidestrider and his bitch wife thought it was so funny that they didn’t correct them.

And you know the rampage that Gillion went on if the Fay wild when pretzel was taken From him.. and how he went on a similar rampage when Flippa was killed?

And when he killed Telin, he couldn’t revivafy her because he didn’t have his shield on him. He ended up exiling himself once more for not being able to keep his loved ones safe. Praying everyday to the moon goddess to bring her back, take him instead. Only for one white bear brings the grieving fish more bad news…

And he continues rarely venturing out of his home in eggsile (still training, maybe training more to distract himself) and when he gets word of a big event he might go back to the main island to visit and meet new people.

And then… his birthday happens…

He finds Flippa in that little grove down in the mines… but she’s not acting right… she doesn’t smell right…

And he recognizes the sent…..

The sent of a code monster…

And that is when he decides to leave the island for good.

Maybe he writes a letter for Mariana or any of the people on the island he has become friends with…maybe he rips his communicator off and smashes it to pieces…. He definitely grabs his armor, his sword and shield before he walks out the door… and maybe he looks back at the crack shack he has been living in for one final goodbye…

Diving into the ocean he swims for miles and miles and miles, and when his arms go numb and he can no longer think, his still pushes away from that island. But as the island fades from view… his memories of it also seem to fade..

Turning over to finally let himself rest he looks up at stars, asking the moon for guidance. Hoping she would answer him this time..

And that would be the night he was pulled from the sea.

Only months later would he remember that island.. when his skin was ripped from him and life drained from his eyes. Waking on the fish hook would he remember his friends still trapped on quesadilla island.

And when he runs to protect chip from the beasts attacking him does he remember where he fist smelt that putrid stench, the dim lighting, the moss, the water dripping…

And the thing pretending to be his daughter.

Not knowing how to process this, not know when to bring this to light, he never tells Chip and Jay about his family, well what’s left of it. But that’s okay, curing the sea, finding Arlin and stoping the mole on the Grandberry pirates is far more important than that.

Because the islanders didn’t know slimecicle left. The federation couldn’t afford to let the islanders know that he left. They were able to kill off sprees and Dan easily, But the chosen one was not going to be easy. And someone who the island had saw as poor, weak and helpless?? There would be questions on his disappearance. So the replaced him for the time being.

Sure he doesn’t act quite the same,

they didn’t make him with ALL his memories

And maybe the code was appearing on his clothes and skin.. but he has been latching onto the obvious code that’s been pretending to be his daughter, that’s to be expected right??

I could go on a whole tangent with more world building but I think this post is already too long. I just really wish there was more stuff like this because I rarely see fics or art of this stuff and I’ve kinda been rotting on this since episode 114 and I can’t stop:)

And there is no way in hell I proof read or looked up anything before posting this so information I gave may just be coming out of my asshole

The egg task hater post :D

Comprised into 3 parts of the problems, the lore aspects and solutions because I just want them gone. Especially when it makes so much sense for them to be gone by now.

Problems with egg tasks ————

- A majority of the ccs hate the egg tasks. Foolish has mentioned it multiple times, Fit mentioned it specifically after purgatory due to him seeing it as an opportunity to get rid of them, Tubbo often would have procrastinated them and a lot of others procrastinate them or express that they just don’t want to do them. (I’m not very active on other POVs so if you have other example please add them)

- The ccs don’t log on to do the tasks and some don’t even know about them. They log on to have fun and play mc. Like take a look at Pepito’s parents(apart from Roier, I don’t think any of the others are aware of the egg task system, so are logging on to have fun).

- Single parents and looking after multiple eggs. They rarely ever know what to do with them, Foolish counts for one cookie but because of the inconsistency of Pepito’s parents he doesn’t get double the cookie stuff. Where as Phil almost always has to request the double stuff for Tallulah and Chayanne.

- Egg admins are busy. Multiple have irl stuff they need to do, like school, work or even attending hospital appointments. This has even made some of the old main egg admins like Ramon and Chayanne have to give up playing due to being so busy. Even at that it’s fairly obvious when another admin is playing a different egg because the personality isn’t the same, which isn’t a big deal until they mess up personal egg lore. That’s excluding their problems with lag or internet.

- The cc parents are busy. Majority of them are variety streamers or have projects outside of qsmp. They cannot always log in to play and are subject to outside factors like having to move, travelling, internet outages, launcher breaks or even sponsorships contracts (which might mean they can’t play for long due to having set contracted times where they have to do something else)

- Some of the stuff is hard or impossible to do. Take toxic caves; one glitchy mob and an egg with internet/lag problems will almost instantly be in danger. The parents having to do tasks with the eggs; again some eggs are busy and not all eggs will just hang out with whoever. For the current system specifically they need to include tasks the parents can do alone for some of the eggs to survive.

Lore/in game stuff ————

- Everyone knows that the egg tasks do not matter especially after purgatory which just means that it was the fed doing the killing when eggs didn’t complete their tasks. They even expected them to be gone after purgatory.

- The reason the parents don’t do anything about it is because they’ve expressed their dislike of egg tasks; yet it is such an integral part of the game play that they have no control over since the admins rarely ask them about it. So they just suck it up and deal with the fact that egg tasks are still around. They’re not really aware if they can go to Cucurucho about the egg tasks because it is really just a game mechanic.

- From my understanding, the competition part of the eggs is no longer the case due to the fact they all should have lost a long time ago. So why would they need to be so aware of if the eggs are surviving or are happy. Especially when the fed are very aware of most things that happen on the island with the eggs.

Solutions!!! ————

- Get rid of them. We did fine without them for a few weeks. Without them we eggs get more chance to develop and have actual fun with the cc. Plus the cc doesn’t have the added stress of needing to log in to make sure an egg doesn’t die. They could even just get rid of them by some fed excuse like them going bankrupt with cookie materials.

- Make them optional!!! Instead of cookies or food tickets being the reward just make it something egg related or make it something like tickets for egg cosmetics. They could even make it the reward for things that the parents might want like items in the shop or access to the mod access. By making them optional takes away the stress but still gives them the chance to do something with the egg to keep them happy.

- Instruct a cc that hates the egg tasks how to get rid of them in lore. The admins should get someone like Foolish or Tubbo who know how to manipulate information to speak with Cucurucho to get rid of them. Or get the players to investigate the cookies. They could even get the morning crew to revolutionise against the egg tasks and have them mess with the server to unionise against the egg tasks.

- Make it time based, like the egg spends under an hour with a person during that week. The egg gets to choose the person too and it can be anyone. It’s under an hour so the egg or parent doesn’t need to log on for a long amount of time if they are busy during the week.

Anyway that’s my case against egg tasks. If I am missing something or think of other solutions then I will edit it into the post. But thanks for reading my /negs posts because I’ll be an egg task hater for life 😀✌️

I’ve been thinking about it a bunch since purgatory ended and I think the main issue for me and maybe in general too was it was WAY too hyped and then turned out to just be pointless in the long run. Like qsmp was at its peak story wise for so many character (Cellbit murdering the workers, Slime with code flippa, Phil not knowing what was real after the birdhouse and being constantly followed by birds, Bagi and her dealing with her brothers actions and impacting how she saw him and herself, Baghera learning she was raised by the federation, BBH and his stuff with the soul vultures and Ron, Etoiles and Fit with the resistance stuff) and for others they were beginning/getting more into their personal lore (Pol, Antoine, Pierre, foolish, tubbo) and then this event was thrown at us as being this CRAZY, NOTHING WILL EVER BE THE SAME AGAIN, YOURE NOT READY FOR THIS BEST EVENT EVER and as everyone was very in “story mode” it meant as viewers we would assume that it would be linked to that but it just turned out to be a pvp grinding competition for two weeks that had no pay off and amounted to nothing except burning out most of the active players making them take extended breaks from the server and didn’t achieve the obvious goal of trying to incentivise ccs who don’t log in often because they’re not interested in lore to log in because nobody who doesn’t play semi regularly logged in after the first day anyway and it even discouraged people who play regularly from logging in (Antoine literally said he wasn’t going to play in the event after the first day because he doesn’t enjoy that style of event and gameplay) so it was like this massive hyped thing that amounted to literally nothing and in the process delayed/derailed peoples personal lore (which was what most people were watching for, their faves povs story) and made a bunch of their most active players take a break and I know for me personally and a bunch of others I’ve seen say similar things it honestly impacted peoples desire to watch as regularly

Purgatory is easily the worst arc that happened on the server. Like, I admire the admins effort and everything and I hope it works better for whatever they're planning with the new one they plan on doing with smaller CCs, but god I hated it so much. At some point I just stopped watching, I couldn't take it and I completely understand why some CCs just gave up.

Nothing paid off. I know some people can see a good thing they gained from it (Bolas and Soulfire found family maybe), but I don't think there was a good single thing for me. Nothing that was sacrificed to make this arc was worthy for me. And it also happened to make the fandom infinitely worse, created a big divide that is still not gone and made the annoying people even more annoying, and got them more support.

I wish I could just forget this arc exists and hopefully things get more consistently better in the next few months. I know some people want to see the consequences between the characters, but I'll be way happier if they just pretended it didn't exist.

If Skeppy was Dappers other father

You know how sometimes you spawn with a starter map or some other things? What if when Skeppy joins the qsmp IF he ever joins, with the other H ticket, which was the item bad got for dapper’s adoption/ birth certificate. 

As you all know, bad didn’t get a partner and is a single parent, technically his partner should be Wilbur if I’m correct cause quackity got Luzu, But I could be wrong I’m not too informed on that as much as I should be.

Everyone likes to assume or joke about Skeppy being Dappers other father and he does know a lot about him, when bad called Skeppy one stream, they talked for quite a while and bad even told Skeppy about what was happening in game at the time, when he hung up dapper said “All I heard was marital issues” now, I don’t think the whole situation was canon or out of character for both of them but what I do know is that in a previous stream not to long ago, bad talked about leaving to go to the island and Skeppy sitting on the couch all sad in THIER house, he also talked about the apparent neighbors and neighborhood if I’m correct, so apparently he canonically lives with Skeppy?

I’m mentioning this cause a while ago while I was considering this I remembered, they are roleplaying.. So even if Skeppy did join their characters wouldn’t know each other, but like I mentioned before, he lived with Skeppy before traveling to the island.

Even if Skeppy wasn’t the other parent there’s a high chance he would help take care of dapper and live with or nearby bad, now he probably wouldn’t do very good, and he probably wouldn’t get on a lot either way. Another thing I’m wondering is if he would rather join the Usmp if not already, I don’t know anything about the Usmp other than the fact it’s dream’s new Smp, and that he has apparent beef with quackity and his server?

Another thing I’d like to mention, I don’t remember if he said it was out of character or not, but bad did say that he hoped or wondered if there would be a plane crash or something similar with Skeppy on it. Obviously it’s silly to make a big scene over just Skeppy so mabye more people would be on the plane as well? Also, why and how would they get there? I know there’s a theory that Wilbur for DSMP might be the same person on the qsmp, so it made me wonder if his character also knew anyone before traveling to the island.

Mabye Tommy and Skeppy could join along with a few others from other servers or just other YouTubers in general, I think it would be a great opportunity cause I know there are also other YouTubers some people want to join.
