is MB Wonder worth it? not sure if I want it, but looks like youre having fun at least lol

YES IT IS. this game is so full of dopamine your neuroreceptors won't know how to process it all. prepare for a raving review based on my experiences

first of all the character animations are VERY EXPRESSIVE and i can go on and on about how ridiculously cute Luigi's running animation is LOOK AT HIM GO. (still frame doesn't really do it justice, but it's so good, the bros' hats and the princesses' crowns bob in the wind) AND the bros do this thing when you run into a pipe where they'll almost lose their hat it's SO CUTE HELLO??

and 90% of the levels AREN'T TIMED!!! so you can run back and forth and watch these little details at your leisure, like how when Peach or Daisy go up into a pipe their dress does a little sway~ even the enemies have little animations when you get near them!

at first i was annoyed that they took out unique character traits (everyone jumps the same height, Luigi doesn't slide and Peach doesn't float) but now there's a badge system so you can do cool moves regardless of character choice, which has grown on me.

and then there's an ONLINE MODE which is so well done bc unlike 3D World you don't have to have people added, you can play with people all over the world in real time and it's SO FUN. you can't physically interact with them so they can't, you know, pick you up and toss you into pits like the other sidescrollers, but they can save your life and help you find secrets!! there's these little things called standees that you can set up so even if you're not there you can still revive someone or vice versa. the levels are decently challenging and i owe my sanity to a lot of strangers

the only way you can communicate with players is a set of four emojis that honestly get the job done really well. emoting at players who emote back is very amusing, and honestly if you get a good group who stays together, finishing the level simultaneously is so SATISFYING AND WHOLESOME

it's just a feel-good game!!! 9/10 because i didn't want to ever reach the last level, but going back and helping others find secrets is so much fun aaaaaaaaaaaa

Finished this fast but the pain is augh. Took me 5 hours to artline and another 8 to colour and finish. 2 days and it finished~~

I'm quite proud of it even though I could see some imperfections. I'm proud of myself because I don't care there's some tiny miniscule imperfections!! (I can't draw hands consistently ffs)

I did a lot of post edit colour correction and shit so if their colour looks off to you, it's because IT IS OFF AND MY MISTAKE CAUSE I DIDN'T LOOK AT REFERENCE AA In the raw files Ibara looked like Ariel instead of Ibb with how red her hair was... It still kinda is

Anw I did the gold border to make it looked like an illustration out of a story book. I have love hate feelings about it. I like how it looked but without it looks so good as well...

Horne ness took over my body and soul when I draw Ibara. She's topless, yes. I did the usual anime censoring lol. AND SHE HAS BELLY BUTTON PIERCING AUGH ARGH AAAAAAAAAAAA. When I saw femstars week day 5 with tattoos and piercings my mind literally blanked and imagined Ibara with body piercings. Like you know what I mean. Just imagine.

This is my first time drawing Hiyori I hope I did her justice 🙇‍♀️ I referenced her outfit from her global exclusive card, yno which I'm referring too. Hopefully that card won't come to EN soon... Since Ibara doesn't have a mermaid outfit, she doesn't get any clothes /hj

In my mind this is Mermaid!Hiyori/Siren!Ibara. At first I want to do night time, since I think sirens come at night or smthng but then I couldn't care enough.

The story I have in mind are polyeden of course.

Nagi and Jun lived in that castle. Hiyo always wanted to go outside but Ibara advice her not to but she did anyway and met Jun and bla bla bla fell in love. Ibara was like "why" and try to go outside as well. There she met Nagi and at first their relationship was the usual "using eachother" but then fell in love ofc. Idk how to make it polyeden but it's polyeden idc. The story could be m/m f/m f/f or others, it doesn't matter tbh.

I could try write it but in my mind it'll be at least 30k long and it'll take me 4 years to do that.

In global exclusive cards, Adam are those creatures with wings, tails and tight outfits. While Eve are mermaids. At first I wanna do that, but then horne.

Adam's outfits could very much be incubus outfits... Especially with the tail...

I'm back lol sorry for dropping off the face of this blog. that's what IB does to you I guess

Some very cool things have happened since I was last here in writing. I got all five offers back, and I've accepted a firm and insurance choice to two wonderful places!!! Their creative writing departments were wonderful, and the lecturers at my firm were genuinely inspiring to listen to. To get in, I need a 6 in English, and 36 points overall. I think I can do it. My current goals/predictions are:

HL English LangLit: 6 needed for uni, and I managed it in my one mock since switching up. If I get a 5 I can still get into my insurance just fine, but I REALLY want to get into my first choice if I can.

HL Psychology: 7 is the goal. I really want a 7, and there's no excuse barring a lack of revision to not get one. My psychology department is genuinely incredible, and I've done very well in all my mocks. I really want to make them proud so I'm hoping the essays they give us are kind.

HL Global Politics: 7 suggested by the mocks so far, but I'm not the most confident in my politics abilities. I do want a 7 in it if possible though because I really like my politics teacher and also want to make him proud lmao

SL CompSci: 7 almost certain considering my mock grades thus far. I'm not worried tbh.

SL Maths Analysis: 7 PLEASE Maths is so easy to revise and it's easy points!!

AB German: 6 is probably more realistic than a 7 because too many minor slip ups can sink the grade completely, but I really want a 7 too.

Core: 2 is what I'm expecting tbh. My EE and TOK were both fine but I don't think they were WOW yk. I'm expecting a B for my EE hopefully and a B for my TOK, but if I've made my corrections well then hugely maybe I can get an A, which would give 3 points????? That's assuming my EE is in fact B-worthy which I really have no clue about.

Obviously I want to get as high as I can, but if I get a minimum of a 6 in everything, that's still more than enough with Core. I know I'm extremely likely to get a 7 in at least CompSci, so at a minimum I'm thinking I'll get 39 unless core flops?? My goal is to get over 40 though:))))

I'm terrified of making some kind of mistake that gets me disqualified. I know that's irrational but the fear is still there. My English teacher kinda spooked me by saying someone once failed their diploma because they didn't put page numbers in their EE so uh.......................... woooooooo. I'malso terrified about AI writing affeciting me. I haven't touched AI for anything I've done for school ever, but I'm nervous that the AI checker will be bad:( And what if I haven't cited something correctly?????? aaaaaaaaaaaa:(((((((((( Also as a heads up, for this exact reason, I won't be liveblogging my exams lol. I don't want to risk saying anything I'm not supposed to regarding the exams, so I'll make notes and post about them after results day or so. If I post anything during exam season, it'll probably be good-luck posts and nothing more lmao.

We've finished content in pretty much every subject now, which is exciting!! IAs are nearly done -- just waiting for final confirmation that a handful of them are ready for submission, and I've got my computer science IA to finish correcting. The end is scarily close.

Feeling terrified, but as long as I keep my head down and work hard, it'll be alright. Less than 11 weeks left. Let’s do this.

Thess vs Cauldron IOTA

Well. That was ... more than I was expecting it to be. I mean, the Cauldron too, but also just ... everything I ended up doing the last few hours. Sometimes Horizon Forbidden West is just ... chasing campfires is like chasing related links on Wikipedia - it never ends, and it takes you to places you don't necessarily expect.

Right. Big crevice through there, maybe that'll help. But I'll approach from above because something's going to be guarding...

Aaaaaaaaaaaaand you're all standing just out of view. Fine. I will jump into this bush and then I will quietly murder you.

Ah, here we go. Wow; this thing's a fair bit more heavily guarded than the last one. Maybe they used beasties to give us the problems instead of just ... accessibility?

Okay, they're using both, but this could be worse...

You want me to do WHAT?!?

First attempt: failure. THIS IS NOT MY FAULT I WAS PRESSING THE BUTTON AND ALOY WOULD NOT JUMP GAH I HATE THIS. Well, at least I didn't die-die. I guess those few Survivor passives I picked up were worth it.

Second attempt: Success! Okay, now can I finally go into the Cauldron? THANK you.

Right. What's going to come at me? Rollerback, if I remember right. What don't Rollerbacks like? Purgewater? Acid? I'll go for one of each. Why not? I craft traps; may as well use them.

Oh the traps were a good thing because that came out of nowhere so lemme just step out of the way so I can shoot when it's weakened from--

...Did ... did I just one-shot a Rollerback with an acid trap? I mean, okay, it was an advanced acid trap, but... Wow. I should set up trapped sniper's nests more often.

Right. It couldn't be that easy, could it. Now, how do I get down without dying? Okay, here we go.

Okay got through that first time! Great! Now ... onward to clearing ... debris ... off a Tallneck head.

First attempt: failure. And actual death because I didn't prioritise the one with the ranged concussive blasts that can knock me off the damn Tallneck head. AIM BETTER, IDIOT.

Second attempt: success! Managed to one-shot everything, so that's good.

Right. Compared to some of the jumping puzzle shit I've been doing, this is easy. And I actually get to climb the Tallneck this time! I used to get a bit stressed over those, but seriously - compared to some of this shit? EASY.

TALLNEEEEEEEECK! And that just ... unlocked ... everything I'd already unlocked through exploration anyway. But never mind!

Okay, collecting campfires I missed last time and I think there's some greenshine and a data entry around here somewhere--

I just ... started ... a rebel camp side quest. By accident. Oh well; never leave a job half-finished!

I really love it when none of them get a shot off at me. More tags. I will figure out what those are for eventually. Maybe even without Googling it. (I lie - I will almost definitely Google it because the curiosity is killing me.)

Okay. Right. Yes. I really need to log off now. Just lemme get to a shelter and-- YES! POUCH UPGRADES! Fine, it's regular ammo only, but I'll find moonfish eventually. AND I got to upgrade my short-range combat bow, because one-shotted Rollerback!

So a day in which I got stuff done, virtually speaking. Hell, I got Motherfucking Adult Stuff done too; took out the garbage and cleaned out the fridge in preparation for the groceries arriving tomorrow. This month has some gloriousness; there's going to be roast chicken and roast pork, and I am going to boil the chicken bones for stock (with herbs out of my very own little balcony-and-windowsill garden), and the leftovers will probably go into a jambalaya-ish sort of thing, or maybe a couple of batches of risotto. And I have fixings for chilli, and for bolognaise sauce. Add some gluten-free breaded chicken fillets (for lazy chicken katsu curry) and some of the long-life usuals (tinned tuna and frozen broccoli for the tuna broccoli lemon pasta, stuff like that), and with the occasional stop for fresher ingredients, I will eat well this month, and possibly on into next month.

I also treated myself to some coffee ice cream and fixings for French toast, because Being A Motherfucking Adult means you can have treats if you want them. And it's been a hard week.

Today was the day of your highly anticipated graduation. You woke up bright and early to get ready for this once-in-a-lifetime event. After eating a full breakfast, you passed by the doorway to get your keys when you suddenly noticed a strangely titled letter.

“Remember me?”

You were freaked out by this anonymous message as it seemed like it was out to get you. You quickly stuffed it into your bag. On your way to the school you were attending, strange noises kept startling you enough to make you turn back and wonder: Were you being stalked?! You shook your head fiercely after turning around for the billionth time. There was no way you could let this ruin your day.

And in no way did it get ruined.

You were recommended by teachers to be the one making a speech in the ceremony. You treated this as a great honour and prepared for it ever so seriously. To your surprise, no fuck-ups were made and you even earnt a standing ovation. It wasn’t like you doubted yourself, but a little something-or someone, caught your attention. You didn’t believe it was the alien you saw all those months back. After the whole ceremony, you chatted with your friends and discussed your future in college, you slowly began to drift away from the conversation with the thought of Felix lingering in your mind. You picked up your pace and began power-walking outside the hall to find that dorky, adorable alien you oh-so-wanted to see.

Once you stepped out of the school gates for one last time, you saw Felix’s back facing you, seemingly fiddling with something. “...Felix?” You muttered. He slowly, rigidly, turned around, like a mime caught in action. The being slowly pulled out an odd bag of…something, with “SPECIAL BROWNIES!” labelled on the bag, scraps of masking tape covering half of the opening. You gave it a weird look, he probably didn’t know about what the other meaning of “special” was. When you looked back up from the bag, you saw Felix’s slightly saddened expression. God, those puppy eyes. God, that pout. God, that adorable face of his. He’s going to be the death of you.

“Do you…not like it?” Eyes watery, Felix asked. You frantically shook your head. “No! No! Of course not!” You exclaimed. Felix immediately brightened up, and flashed you that smile you missed all those months ago. “Come on! I know you love these.” He said. You quickly nodded, and sank your teeth into the amazing brownie that came from Felix’s “fridge”. You let out an audible sigh, letting Felix know how much you enjoyed said brownies. Once you scarfed down those brownies, you noticed an envelope at the bottom of the bag.

Ah, that’s why the bag looked weirdly sealed, you thought. Once again, you looked back up at Felix, mouth still filled with the brownies. He chuckled and wiped away the stray crumbs that dotted around your lips. “So kissable,” he thought. Felix quickly rid himself of the thoughts and the forming blush on his cheeks, and told you to open it.

“To Y/N,

It’s my first time writing a letter to you, isn’t it? I’m sorry I couldn’t send you letters during your study sessions (since nobody trusts the delivery services), so I had CB97-10 (a.k.a “Chan”) help me write and deliver this safely. Jeez, I wouldn’t have known what to do if he hadn’t come up with this idea. I guess you could call him my “wingman” (Is that the correct spelling?).

Anyway, I’ve been missing you since you left my little “abode” of a spaceship. I’ve always wished to see you again after your exams, as creepy as that might sound. Now that I finally get to see you, I just want to say that I’m really proud of you for finishing this year! I know how human and alien schools both have intense curriculums, so I’d like to congratulate you for completing another year!

Now, let “real-time Felix” steal the show!

Look up :)”

You looked up from the letter, feeling all mushy from the words of encouragement. You saw the boy take a deep breath. Oh no. That’s usually not a good sign. What if he never wants to see you again after this? Did some alien pseudo-God convince the whole population to never interact with humans again? God, your overthinking ass was running endlessly around your brain, screaming bloody murder. Your hands started to break out in sweat, causing you to step back in nervousness.

He took another shaky, deep breath. He could do this, but he couldn’t screw this up. No way. The words fell out of his mouth like a stream. “Y/N…Do you like me”

A gasp left your lips.

You didn’t think he would return those feelings you deemed as “puppy love”, but instead hid them away to focus on your studies, tucking your thoughts of Felix into the metaphorical “Back pocket” of your mind.

“After all this time, I could never not love you.”

so, I started reading DLNS when it was still updating, got to the latest chapter, then forgot to go back and read new updates. Just finished chapter 41- I have to say, I think it is one of, if not my absolute favorite DCA fics out there! The setting being completely new allows for a more mysterious plot, and while we are familiar with many of the animatronics, we have to come to know these versions, just like every version of the canon AI’s. And the human OC’s? They don’t feel out of place at all! When I first started reading, that was what I was worried about - and it turned out to be worrying for nothing! And the character key, and how you used it, was brilliant! I had to check it every chapter because you would add details to the characters life there, and it was like we got to experience some of the real lives of the characters- kinda like how Gravity Falls makes every character feel like they have their own lives going on. Also, Chapter 41’s Character Key “Julia: Please Stay Dead” made me laugh so hard

Not because of the aoe boss (although that too) not even because it made Sherlock Bones fake his death because of a minor-minor antagonist and lie to Mycroft about it.

I finished the game in 2021 and in 2022 I started writing a canon-divergence fic where Valencia pt. 2 doesn't happen and instead the Pirate goes to Grizzleheim to look for Erika the Red and eventually would have revealed that El Dorado contains and may be built upon Shadow magic, but I didn't get to writing it because life got in the way you know how it is

But I got into Sailor moon and DBZ at basically the same time. I was strictly "Ew DBZ sounds like a boy thing" at the time, and one day at school, this boy yelled "I GOTTA GET HOME SAILOR MOON IS COMING ON AND THERE ARE HOT CHICKS!"

And that like rewired my brain to enjoy Dragonball Z. IDK why. Which lead to Rurouni Kenshin and Finally Yu Yu Hakusho which I hyperfocused on but never finished watching.

AAAAAAAAAAAA i didnt have sailor moon on tv (idk they just didnt stream it) at that time but for some reason in here they LOVED to stream dragon ball and dragon ball z, so every day at 8 pm i sat in front of the tv to watch, first a dragon ball episode and then two episodes of dragon ball z. and i loved it SO much that then i found out that they re-streamed the same episodes of dbz at 12 am so i stayed up til 2 just to watch :((

and with dragon ball z came my first anime crush ever ever ever (piccolo LMAO, and then trunks, then turles aka the hot evil goku guy, but piccolo to me was THE man).

So… brain decided it wanted an alternate point of view/more comfort from @adrift-in-thyme ‘s most recent Sky and Time whump scene. It wouldn’t let me sleep until I’d gotten this far. I wanted to give them more time to talk and assure Sky that things would be ok. I didn’t get that far before I fell asleep and lost motivation :(

“Pick it up. Slay him. You know he deserves it.” The shadow hooked a talon beneath Time’s chin and pulled his gaze up to him. “And after everything you’ve endured don’t you deserve it too? Even heroes have the right to get their revenge.”

There were the memories torn from Sky, forced into Time’s own. But it wasn’t just the memory of a fight against a god or even the memory of the final words that were currently occupying the whole of Time’s mind. It was the guilt woven through every interaction. It was a constant anxiety this boy had been carrying since they’d met. Sky expected to be hurt or killed for these events. Worse, he expected Time to be the first in line to do so. Sky met his eyes.

“I’m sorry.” It’s barely a croak, but Time could see the young knight’s expression. There’s anguish there, and a worrying amount of fear slipping into Sky’s expression. But then it’s smothered with a knowing resignation. The Shadow is expecting action though, and so Time picked up the sword.

“Yes,” there’s an obscene glee in the hiss. “Well done. Now finish it.” It’s not a hero’s blade. It’s not even particularly well made, but it’s sharp, and what’s more, he’s been given it and released enough to act. The Shadow shrieked as the blade was driven through his stomach, then blinding light and searing darkness and when it cleared… Sky had been released from his bindings as well. The Chosen was on his knees on the ground. Blood trickled from his nose and ears from the Shadow’s mind manipulation. Time offered Sky a hand and tried not to be too upset as the boy flinched at the first overture, and just stared at him.

“We need to leave here, Link.” He used their shared name, and tried to speak as gently as the situation would allow. “Can you stand? There will likely be more creatures to fight.”

“You…” Sky just trailed off, staring bewilderedly at his offered hand.

“We will need to discuss that…” Why did Sky think Time of all people would cave to the Shadow’s manipulation? How long had the boy believed in his heart that Time would willingly harm any of them? “But later. Every moment we hesitate gives the Shadow more opportunity to orchestrate another attack. Let’s get out of here and find the others. Alright?”
