just an fyi, and it feels like it needs to be said here: your blog is your own space and you should be able to say whatever the fuck you want. if you’re sad? vent. get sad. maybe put it under a cut, definitely tag it, but get sad. if you feel like you need someone to talk to? drop a freaking message about how you’re feeling like you could use a buddy, or anything randomly engaging. if you’re having a hard time, you should feel safe and okay to talk about it in your own space. we’re writers and we’re people and while there’s a lot to be said for how engagement outside of oneself is necessary in rp (and really really needs to improve), i think there’s a lot that must be said about people reaching out to others. it’s become so solitary here — the whole ‘reblog from source’ thing when it comes to shit like about and musings is absurd. the whole refusing to like things is ridiculous. yes, curate your space, that’s important, but curating your space into a studio apartment only you live in doesn’t make this a community anymore, it makes it a studio apartment you live in.

just be yourself here. do whatever you want. but i’m always saying: remember you’re not alone, and don’t let yourself feel that way.

thoughts circulating of an outsider pov fic in my head. the dwarfers get into some domestic drama or one of them does something and tries to keep it a secret lest the wrath of the others befall him but the snack dispencers know, they know and they gossip. the news spread to toasters, elevators, even toilets and some doors are enjoying the drama. and best of all, the people actually involved in the chaos don't even know that the whole ship is in on the latest developments (except of course the living members) but they have noticed that the maschines have started snickering as they walk past. as they said, they don't even realize everything's electrical, they know all and are laughing from the sidelines

where a magician's hands were clasped together, this little sun's excitement had extended throughout the expanse of her body, forcing her into small hops to contain any giggles or noises of excitement before the show had begun. hopping from one foot to another, golden braids swaying from where they were tied back into ponytails, klee had taken lyney's side as eagerly as a student would follow after a teacher. in fact, she'd been so happy at the offer that she... forgot how he even realized her prowess in demolition... that and for some odd reason, klee couldn't remember where they had first convened.

oh well! the specifics hardly mattered when the show was itching to start! oooo, just thinking about lighting the fireworks up and watching them spiral aimlessly into the sky before the combustion within became too much made her head hurt. which was a good thing!

little sun raised her gaze to the delighted eyes of the moon's pupil, her smile managing to brighten despite the sheer excitement she already displayed. "really? really? klee would love to! klee would absolutely love to!" and, to her surprise, they would not be lit by the targeted jumps of a small jumpy dumpty with a match of pyro magic encasing it. no, instead, lyney had made an arrow appear before them, dancing along his fingers as it sparked to life.

so, of course, klee happily accepted the arrow from him and, after being distracted by its glow for a few seconds, let it fly! and fly it had, as did the fireworks the moment they had caught onto the pyro magic condensed into the tip. on instinct, klee shouted in joy, jumping up and down as the crowd erupted into wondered oohs and ahhs!

"look! look! look at them go!" she exclaimed, tugging the weight of the garter holding up lyney's leggings. and, beneath the sky, as it exploded into colors and shapes and dreams, little sun looked back up at the moon, grinning at him as she tilted her head, "are there more to light up? klee wants to see how easily they light up compared to her jumpy dumptys!"

I feel like there are roughly two kinds of "painfully weird kid" that you can be during your K-12 school years. the first is your "I am trying so hard to be normal but I just cannot seem to hit the mark. there's just something wrong with me and I don't know how to fix it" and the second is the category I was in, which is your "everyone around me is so incredibly weird but they obviously can't help it so I will just have to accept this."

#being a deeply weird kid in school was definitely an experience #i feel like it's also heightened when you attend a private catholic school #there are just so many more layers of 'oh wow so this is...a thing' to deal with #like i honestly think the shit that private catholic schools do to a kid's head is worse for the normal kids #i was already at a point where i just accepted that my personal perspective of the world was radically different #and you really weren't going to convince me to start loving denim or perfume or makeup #so trying to get me to feel a bunch of religious guilt was also not going to work #i just added it to the long list of things that are important to most ppl that i just don't give a shit about and moved on #honestly being autistic in a private catholic school put me in a much better spot than a normal catholic student #the teachers would say something absolutely batshit insane #like telling us that 'mentally disabled' kids get a free pass to heaven because they have no original sin just like animals #(if u know ur catholic shit u can imagine the multiple layers of 'but wait!' involved in this statement but anyway) #and your normal catholic student would be like 'what?! for real! oh my gosh...but are you sure? oh you are. well...i guess it's true then.. #whereas i would be sitting there like 'wow that is...a wild thing to believe. also u were staring at me for that whole speech so...' #like yeah i did get involved in the heated debates because it was hella fun #but in hindsight it would be really fucked up to be an actual catholic kid in that school because jesus christ... #a lot of our teachers even had strong disagreements over belief shit and would make us all take sides #so it wasn't even like unanimous weird stuff pumped at us. it was like conflicting weird stuff #one intense divide i recall was the simple but highly controversial 'do animals go to heaven?' debate #most said 'yes' with or without conditions #one teacher said 'yes and also disabled kids' which was fucked up and definitely directed at me whenever i was in the room #like some kind of fucked up 'it's okay because you'll get a better life in the afterlife sweetie' kind of thing #while others were like 'ANIMALS? in my heaven? once i reread the manga i know route m mekatrio is gonna make me lose my mind ok like a timeline where they abandon ayano is SOOOO GHRGRH bc like the mekatrio grew up being discarded by various adults and its implied that even with ayaka and kenjirou they were fearful of being thrown out:

but ayano lacking this experience that her other younger sibling faced bc she was the tateyama's biological daughter while the others werent, so she never felt that her parents would discard her, so to her getting rid of mary was just cruel but logical, but to the mekatrio its just another adult trying to get rid of a troublesome child 😭

and even though they only knew mary for a much shorter time than they ever knew ayano, their understanding of her plight outweighed whatever love they held for ayano 😭😭😭 thats why kano is so cruel to her..... bc to them she was just another person who discarded them bc they were 'monsters'...
