There’s been asks about readers who are like kny characters, characters from series I have never seen, etc, so do not worry. But here are a few headcanons since you specified only the appearance

Hisoka meeting reader who looks like Lizzie Hearts

Though you may think sharper cards are going to give you an advantage in a duel with this guy, think again. If you are a card-wielding fighter that doesn’t know nen, you’ll likely end up getting your neck sliced. If you know nen however, Hisoka will be intrigued

He might like your flashy sense of style, definitely the color scheme. However it matters more to him that you are a fighter. If you are taking the hunter exam, then he’ll have some expectations

Did you approach him first? Though he seems to be confident in talking to anyone, he’s not really the first person to start a conversation out of the blue(says he’s “shy” but it’s more like he picks and chooses who to talk to). If you give him an upfront and confident introduction, you’ll definitely see his eyes light up a bit. He likes people that have some bravery to talk to him anyways

Did he approach you? Chances are he saw you fighting or, if you are a nen user who exerted some ren, he’ll likely approach you by first flinging a card in your direction. Did you catch it? Great, it’s the least amount of info he needs to confirm you are a target

How it goes from here depends on your ability to fight. Will he court you? Likely not unless you make that a condition in your battle (think Illumi’s “marriage” to Hisoka right now in the hxh story). However, if you manage to banter with him during the first, second, and third exam parts, he’ll be sure to fight you by the fourth one.

During this, plz be careful. Sure it’s fun to receive flirts from the crazy magician and to flirt with him back, but all of that “romance” can end up becoming bloody on Zevil Island. Watch out and be safe!

Hisoka was born on the west side of Salen to a poor family. His parents were never home, and when they were they didn’t pay much attention to him. Eventually they just stopped coming home(Hisoka didn’t know or care what happened). He was orphaned at 10. To survive in a place like Salen’s streets, that were filled with famine, crime, and poverty, Hisoka only had himself to rely on for survival. Sometimes he would group with other teenagers, but for the most part he was a loner.

He always used fake names for himself but other street kids just called him “the weirdo” or “the redhead”.

When he was around 13 he ventured to the east side, the big city, hoping to get some good food. He saw how clean the streets were, how good the food was and overall how bright the sky was compared to the toxic, polluted air in the west. It was there when he first saw the Heaven’s Arena building and snuck in to watch one of the fights.

The Green Serpent was one of the popular underground fight clubs back in the west side, there were no rules, the audience could get involved. It was a free for all and a pastime for most people in the west. Hisoka only watched one fight from there, but he thought it was “uncouth” and barbaric, there was no order and the techniques the fighters used were crude, and the broken bottles of whisky and cigarettes littering the floor just wasn’t Hisoka’s style.

If there was one thing Hisoka loved, he loved spectating, he loved watching somebody’s thought process, catching onto their strategy. But at the Green Serpent, it was just hulking masses of muscles slamming themselves into each other calling it a fight.

At Heaven’s Arena, Hisoka was truly entertained, he witnessed powerful warriors in real battles, fighters that Hisoka could truly respect and look up to.

Hisoka knew he wanted to live in the east, he wanted to make a name for himself and become a skilled, strong fighter. He knew he had to train and for the next 3 years he trained himself and studied every technique(he also mastered nen along the way, of course).

When Hisoka was 17, he finally made his way out of the west and crawled his way up in Heaven’s Arena. Due to his incredible luck and strength, he was on the 200th floor in only a couple of days. The desire to become a strong fighter grew into something even more egotistical, he wanted to become the strongest fighter to ever exist. After his first win in the arena he felt a rush of adrenaline he had never felt in his life. Hisoka felt as if he was born to be the strongest.

Hisoka never talked about his past after that, he didn’t want to be associated with the west side streets. He didn’t want to be reminded of how he scavenged for survival like some animal.. he felt like he was too good for that. Hisoka still has a small bit of compassion for the orphaned street children, but he turns a blind eye to anything having to do with the streets.

So uh. Apparently when my friend (whom I have known for 15 years) first watched HxH, and then found out I was watching HxH, she told her wife: "oh I bet Morel's gonna be her fave" because I love beefy guys who have a heart of gold.

And she called it.

I do! Mostly family members of canon characters lol 

I think one important person to Morel I haven't described in other asks is Gemma, his aunt and his mom's wayward younger sister. She went to prison for murdering capitalists (ones who gave the Hunter Association a lot of business) as well as a few Hunters she saw as "corrupt" and was freed on the condition she train Morel in nen. She is a transmuter who also uses smoke, but her nen ability (Smoking Gun) is strictly combat oriented. Basically as long as she has a lit cigar in her mouth and her revolvers she has unlimited bullets. How lethal one is depends on her concentration and intent. 

Other facts about her: 6'2",mean lesbian, wears jeans and western button up shirts exclusively, her relationship with Knov can best be described as "wlw/mlm hostility" (she doesn't know what her nephew sees in that weird twink), opens beer bottles with her teeth, master chess player who enters tournaments to make arrogant jerkass nerds Mad, loves her wife Aeliana (they met in Battle Olympia at Heaven's Arena)

Hello :D Sorry this took so long to reply to! I was thinking about this for so long and really struggling to picture Hisoka specifically in a festive setting, then I got an idea that absolutely ran away with me and ended up involving the entire hxh cast in a kind of christmas special episode idea...

So, since we've never seen where Hisoka actually lives, I kind of default to imagining him living at Heaven's Arena. I then wondered, what if the arena held a Christmas event? A battle royale between the top fighters, with a cash prize for the winner and "mystery presents" for anyone to beat certain scores/make certain achievements (not taking any hits etc). All fighters also HAVE to fight in festive costumes and ticket sales for the event go to charity. I pictured there being a lot of generic costumes from the other fighters, lots of lame onesies, and santa suits with little effort. I also pictured the core 4 being in the audience (Gon is dressed as a christmas tree, with lights in his hair, Killua - forced by Gon - is wearing a jumper that says "bah humbug" Kurapika is in a suit with red and white stripes that look like a candy cane, complete with hat, and Leorio is in an inflatable turkey costume (he left it too late to get anything less ridiculous) as well as any other characters I could shoe-horn in (Illumi - dressed as an elf. It's not meant to be a sexy costume, but because of his generally beautiful shape, it's sexy on him and Bisky in a full angel dress with wings). As for Hisoka? Well this man is known for having outlandish outfits. How can he possibly stand out in a sea of generic Christmas costumes?

Like, literally the skimpiest outfit you can imagine. Barely fits because it was designed for a woman to wear, but Hisoka doesn't care about that. Adds to the appeal of it if anything. He's having a great time prancing about, flirting and making everyone uncomfortable, fighting and making it his mission to win every single prize, (he loves all the silly stuff, but especially the festive sweets). He's managed to alter his Bungee gum too, so now it looks sparkly to match the festive theme. Meanwhile, for the purposes of a plot and more festive nonsense, the Phantom Troupe are also in the crowd. As a floor master, technically Chrollo should be participating in the event. But instead, he and the rest of the troupe have decided to just go full Grinch mode and steal the cash prize. They are all dressed in identical reindeer costumes, with Chrollo the only slightly different one, (he's wearing a red nose, because just like Rudolph, he's the leader). Kurapika only came to this event at all because he was trying to catch the troupe. The rest of the episode would mostly be low stakes comedy about the core 4 trying to stop the Phantom Troupe from stealing Christmas whilst all dressed ridiculously. Honestly, the costume thing really got away from me and now I want to draw all of them! Sorry if this wasn't what you had in mind!
