Animal Crossing Pocket Camp X Sanrio ⊟
Finally, after years of seeing crossover items in Animal Crossing games and never being able to have them, Sanrio character goods await me in Pocket Camp for the low price of reinstalling Pocket Camp.
Items that feature Sanrio characters will be rolled out gradually, with Items Collection #1 launching on July 11 featuring Hello Kitty and Cinnamoroll. In late July, Collection #2 will feature Pompompurin and My Melody. And in early August, Collection #3 will feature Little Twin Stars and Keroppi.
The collaboration also includes more Sanrio stuff:
A Hello Kitty bow special in-game gift will be given to all Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp players.
From July 11 to July 22, a Gyroidite Scavenger Hunt will allow players to make limited-time in-game Hello Kitty amenities and Sanrio Characters tees.
Fortune cookies in the Sanrio Characters Craft Collection will come packed with cute rewards.
Players can participate in Sanrio Characters Goals #1 for exciting rewards such as animal maps and fortune cookies.
Sanrio could have made its own knockoff Animal Crossing type game with its characters (it almost did) but this approach works out better for everyone, I think.

we are FINALLY getting good event stuff with this all-natural gyroidite scavenger hunt!! the last few events i haven’t liked most of the furniture so i’ve only been doing the event for the leaf tickets and crafting supplies. also the campsite helper subscription is tempting but with new horizons coming soon i know i won’t have time to play pocket camp, so why waste my real money?

Animal Crossing Snowflake Knit Cap Pattern
About a week ago in Animal Crossing Pocket Camp, there was a gyroidite scavenger hunt as a part of the Chilly Jamboree. During the scavenger hunt, there happened to be this adorable hat available for leaf tickets. And I fell in love with it and totally needed one for myself. Keep reading if you want to make your own!
(Please don’t delete my caption while reblogging. Thanks!)
Before we begin, a few notes:
Please do not repost my work without permission or proper credit and please don’t delete my caption while reblogging.
Please do not sell or redistribute this pattern or anything you make with it. Gift as many as you’d like!
If you have any questions or comments, please send me a message here on my tumblr and I’ll do my best to get back to you as soon as possible!
Yarn and Needles for the hat:
Big Twist Rainbow Classic in Gray.
Big Twist Rainbow Classic in White.
US size 9 (5.5mm) double pointed needles.
Yarn and needles for the patch:
Lion Brand Bon Bons (I used this one!) I used the red and white yarn for this project.
US size 1 (2.25 mm) knitting needles.
One more note: unlike most of my patterns, there isn’t really a specific number of rows required for most of the hat. It’s based more on measurements. I divided it into three parts, the brim, the main part of the hat, and decreasing.
Hat Pattern
Part 1: Brim
With size 9 DPN’s, CO 72 stitches with gray yarn. Knit in K2 P2 rib until your piece measures 2.5 inches.
Part 2: The main part of the hat
Switch to white. Knit in K3 P3 rib until your piece is around 7 inches from the brim.
Part 3: Decreasing
Round 1: k2tog, k1, p3 all around (60)
Round 2: k2, p2tog, p1 all around (48)
Rounds 3-5: knit 3 rounds in k2p2 rib
Round 6: k2tog, p2 all the way around (36)
Round 7: k1, p2tog all the way around (24)
Rounds 8-10: knit in k1p1 rib
Round 11: k3tog, p1 (12)
Round 12: knit in k1p1 rib
Cut yarn and thread through stitches.
Patch Pattern
With size 1 needles and red yarn, CO 23 stitches and follow the chart using the white yarn as your contrasting color. Bind off.
Assembly:
First, sew on the patch. In the game, the patch is worn on the left. I folded the brim and tacked it down so it wouldn’t move out of place. Weave in all loose ends.
Special thanks to my twin sister for taking these photos!
