#Ganondorf’s whole story doesn’t make any sense to me anyways

I have a theory, and y’all don’t have to agree with me on it cuz it’s kinda far fetched and has some holes in it but here we go
So there is no evidence of “Ganon” or “Ganondorf” until ocarina of time yeah? So my theory is that Ganon, who takes place in a lot of different games is not the same being as Ganondorf. Why? Well after Hyrule has faced torment from the man named Ganondorf, the name “Ganon” got a bad connotation to it. So after these beasts of pure evil showed up and tried to steal the Triforce and what not in the games, the people named the beast “Ganon”, which was a feared name. So then who is Ganon? That would be Demise and his hatred reincarnating through the years, like he promised.
Like I said this has plenty of holes, like why Ganondorf has a beast form that’s similar to the versions of Ganon or whatever (it’s probably why those specific versions are named Ganon while demons like Malludus are not or something idk), but if we’re following the official timeline nintendo released, Ganon appears after Ganondorf appeared.
Idk, you could say that Ganondorf was the one reincarnating and stuff but it doesn’t make sense to me since his body was clearly there in totk so why wouldn’t he always be in his human form?
Ganondorf being Demise reincarnate is a cool idea but it’s starting to make less sense to me truthfully. It just makes sense that Ganondorf was a terrible but powerful man who grew more powerful thanks to the Triforce of power, and he influenced the people of Hyrule tremendously where whenever there was a boar like creature, he was named Ganon, when it was really Demise trying to bring destruction unto Hylia’s land.
I’ll have to see what happens in totk but it really seems that after Tp or ww that Ganondorf was away somewhere. However by the events of botw , I believe that Demise might want to team up with Ganondorf since he was such a strong influence. I’m sure he’d want to know the man behind the name Ganon after being called it for so many years. But again we’ll have to see until totk

There is a whole other story beneath Twilight Princess’ main plot- [1/3]
And it explains why the children of Ordon were taken in the raid.
They were taken because King Bulblin was searching for Link.
[Part Two]
[Part Three]
Okay, but hear me out for a second here, I come with a theory that I think really makes sense and it can possibly answer a few question in the plot of the game.
Why were the children of Ordon taken? (You Are Here)
Why was Link, after his first transformation, still taken as well?
Why was he taken to Hyrule Castle of all places?
And more.
Now, before I begin, which are some of the games we tend to associate with Twilight princess chronologically? Ocarina of Time. Which is the other game that also serves as a sequel to Ocarina of Time? Wind Waker.
I bring these two games up because there is a notable difference between these three incarnations of Link that I want to bring up before I continue.
OoT: Link receives the Triforce of Courage due to Ganondorf’s attempt at making a wish, causing the Triforce to break into three.
WW: Link earns the Triforce of Courage after finding all eight broken pieces found scattered in the ocean.
TP: Link is born with the Triforce of Courage.
Remember this detail.
(Video for reference from NintenU on YouTube)
Why were the children of Ordon taken?
First of all, what do we know of their abduction?
(Timestamp for video: 11:00)
We know that they were taken right before the Light Spirit Ordona was to lose their light as we know from the same cutscene that Faron was already cloaked in darkness. We also know that only the children were taken and nobody older than Ilia.
When Link is concerned we can only make assumptions whether he was meant to be taken, too. As, while he is knocked out cold by a bulblin, we see King Bulblin enter the spring as well and then not notice that Link is even there. He just blows his horns and hauls ass after a portal opens up. So whether Link was actually meant to be taken, too, is something that we can’t quite answer from the scene presented to us.
(Timestamp for the lines: 44:33)

When Link reunites with Colin, Beth, Malo, and Talo after light is returned to the Eldin Province, Colin and Malo tell Link that the bulblins had left them for dead somewhere far enough away from home for Renado to find them. The children aren’t injured either and Twilight Princess isn’t exactly above showing us injuries or even violence towards children.
We’ve seen Rusl covered in blood and bandages. We’ve seen him limp his way through Ordon when he hears Wolf Link in the distance and then later can be found sleeping deliriously on the sofa of his home.
And them being kids doesn’t spare them either as we see young Ralis (very likely) near death when we hurry him to Kakariko Village. His mother, the late-queen Rutela, states “I feel it. His presence grows fainter to me over time.” This most likely means that Ralis is losing his life.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(video for reference from Psuedo Twili, timestamp: 2:04)
And if you remember the cutscene in which King Bulblin charged through Kakariko Village, Colin wasn’t exactly left unscathed as he was run over and knocked out cold for the entire duration of the fight between King Bulblin and Link and then later found resting in bed with Beth and Luda looking after him.
The bulblins aren’t above hurting children, yet, instead of harming them any further, they choose to simply abandon the children instead. If they were harmed any more than they already have been, the game would have shown us.
It is also interesting to note from the Queen Rutela cutscene, that the Zora’s were raided, too, but their child, Prince Ralis, was not taken. This is a striking contrast, compared to the raid on the human village of Ordon, where the children were taken. Though, admittedly, this is possibly because they were raided by the Shadow Beasts and not the bulblins.
So what do we know?
The children of Ordon were taken, nobody older than Ilia (or presumably, older than Link)
They were brought all the way to the Eldin province, which is far far away from home.
Abandoned, left for dead. This makes their abduction strange and out of place, without reason.
Not physically harmed, from what we can see.
With these facts summed up, we have to wonder why the bulblins would steal people from their homes if they are just going to abandon them in the middle of nowhere anyway. What is the point? Why go through all that trouble of kidnapping them? (Besides moving the plot forwards and giving Link reason to set out, of course) And why do I claim that the Triforce of Courage has something to do with this?
Let’s begin with why I would bring up the fact that TP Link was born with his piece of the Triforce.
(Timestamp: 1:42:20)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Well, we’ve seen the cutscene with the Sages. We’ve seen that they attempted to execute Ganondorf themselves, believing themselves capable of bringing justice to the King of Thieves. But that it was a foolish attempt as Ganondorf, in what they call a divine prank, possesses the Triforce of Power and uses it to revive himself. Whether this was a conscious decision or not, we don’t know and for this theory it doesn’t really matter too much.
Now, the reason why this Ganondorf, which is canon to be OoT’s Ganondorf, has the Triforce is because OoT Link was sent back in time with his piece. We saw in the very last cutscene of OoT that the mark of the Triforce is on his hand, meaning that he traveled back with it still in his possession.
Tumblr media
With TP Link stated to be his descendant by blood more than once in-game, it is natural that the Triforce would be passed down through Time’s bloodline until it eventually reached Twilight. What happens with the Triforce after Twilight is a mystery.
(I’m not familiar with Four Swords Adventure’s story, so I don’t know if the Triforce really makes an appearance in that game)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
With Courage already gone, it caused Wisdom and Power to break apart and go to their respective holders as well. Wisdom, of course, to Zelda. Power to Ganondorf. (Link being sent back in time with Courage, may also explain why this particular piece is in literal pieces in WW. Or maybe it was explained why you had to find the individual pieces and I just don’t remember.)
We know that it is canon now that the Triforce tends to break apart under certain circumstances. I.e when evil touches the Triforce or when a piece is already missing, as was the case in TP, WW and presumably at the end of OoT. We also know that the former fact is a known fact, at least for those who know the Triforce and are familiar with its lore.
Knowing this, would it really be farfetched for Ganondorf, who already knew exactly where and how to find the Triforce in OoT, to look at the back of his hand, see one of the pieces of the Triforce there, and conclude that there are two others with the other pieces? I don’t think so, with how much Ganondorf already knew of the Triforce.
For one of the pieces, the most obvious choice would be someone of the Hyrulean royal family. Hyrule is where people know the entrance to the Sacred Realm to be at, tales say that is where the three Golden Goddesses made their exit after creating their world, leaving the Triforce at that exit that is now the Sacred Realm. It is even the reason why Ganondorf is so set on taking Hyrule, of all places, because it is The land of the Triforce.
But with Wisdom (presumably) already found, where would the third missing piece go?
Well, what are the chances Ganondorf knew OoT Link was in possession of one? That OoT Link, upon attempting to convince Hyrule’s King of Ganondorf’s treachery, was forced to show Courage as proof? If the King doesn’t even believe his own daughter, what are the chance he would ever believe Link without the Triforce?
Maybe this is how Ganondorf found out the third bearer was Link? A ten-year-old boy in possession of one of the three golden triangles isn’t exactly something that would stay under the radar of someone with a deep desire for said Triforce.
But before Ganondorf even realizes he has Power, he is captured (at a much later age than he is shown in OoT, btw), executed, and sent to the Twilight Realm when Power revives its holder.
Years pass, so many that the former Gerudo King is completely forgotten by everyone except for the five remaining Sages who banished him as a last resort.
In the meantime, Ganondorf, believing himself Hyrule’s rightful king because “the Triforce chose him”, figures out there are two others with Triforce pieces, remembers that this one boy was one of them. And then Zant comes along and Ganondorf sees a way to return.
Presumably, the first place Zant takes in Ganondorf’s name is Hyrule. It leads to Zelda surrendering instead of choosing to sacrifice the lives of her people in a battle with an enemy she clearly recognizes as powerful. Keeping Zelda hostage in her own castle, it is possible GanonZant find out she is in possession of Wisdom. The very reason she is still alive and kept well is most likely because of the Triforce. (but this is only a guess)
If Zelda can use hers to sense which magic Wolf Link has been cursed by after the Lakebed Temple, maybe Zantdorf can sense she has Wisdom?
And then their question remains; Where is Courage?
What if Ganondorf still remembers that young boy even know? Knows that it is possible for even a Hylian of low beginnings to have it as well? What if King Bulblin and his bulblins were approached by Zant, under Ganondorf’s instruction, and told to pillage each of Hyrule’s villages in search of the final one bearing the mark of the Triforce? Right before each of the Light Spirits had their light stolen?
King Bulblin, in their last confrontation, tells Link that they “follow the strongest side”. That this is “all they have ever known”. That makes them sound more like a mercenary type of group, people following those they consider “the strongest” unless the other side can prove himself more powerful, which Link does.
Tumblr media
What if this is the reason why Ordon’s children were taken for seemingly random reasons? Because King Bulblin was actually "hired” and told to search Hyrule for Courage? For Link? Maybe he was even specifically told to look for children? Much like how, in Wind Waker, young girls with pointy ears were hunted down and kidnapped by the Helmaroc King?
It is interesting to remember that this very similar plotline started Wind Waker’s main game. Link started his journey to save his younger sister, who was kidnapped in Ganondorf’s search for Zelda.
It would, in my opinion, explain why the kids were taken and then just randomly left for dead without really physically harming them, in spite of the game clearly not being above hurting children and showing injury. Or it would explain why that horse battle scene after Colin’s second abduction went the way it did.
But I’ll come to that particular part in Part Three.
[Continued on Part Two]

Ranting anon. I have a lot. I’ll try and split this into pieces. I wouldn’t say that Lotor was my absolute favorite character, but he was an enjoyable and interesting one. He was a more refined antagonist (not necessarily a villain) who had every capacity of being a great ally and friend. I won’t lie, I liked the idea of Allura and Lotor together, (1/?)
As a parallel to Zarkon and Honerva by being a Galra/Altean power couple that fought for good instead of evil. Lotor is clever and diplomatic and poised, so I honestly thought that he could help Allura cool down her impulsive nature and rash temper and help her become a good leader through example. (2/?)
But in the end, all we got was Lotor giving her an ego boost that in the end didn’t even matter because she dropped him like a hot potato in what feels like a forced “girl power!!” Moment. And I feel like that’s a big problem with how Allura’s character was handled. (3/?)
She’s meant to be this wise, kind, but fierce leader lady, but unlike say, Zelda (another warrior princess,) she doesn’t display the patience or level-headedness that Zelda does, despite people making numerous comparisons between the two. The argument that she’s inexperienced falls through halfway through the series at the very least. Allura never takes any steps to curb her temper or his pushy nature. (4/?)
And somehow no one calls her out on it! A big red flag for me was her reaction when Keith was revealed to be half galra and she just…turned fucking mean for no reason. And while Keith felt guilty for something he shouldn’t have felt guilty for, everyone else was…taking her side? (6/?)
And basically the matter is resolved by him mostly apologizing and her kind of mumbling a half-assed sorry. She was literally being racist to someone she called a friend right until she found out about his heritage. Despite him having done absolutely nothing to her. And no one called her out on it. That pissed me off. It feels like the paladins personalities suffered in order to make Allura look good. Like their moralities and personalities got tossed out the window to revolve around her. (8/8)
Tumblr media
A forewarning to Lotura shippers, I never liked the ship in the first place, so if you are looking for validation about Lotura or even Allura herself, this rant is not for you. Allow me to pitch in my own two cents about myself, Allura, the Paladins, and the comparison referring to Zelda.
Anon, let me just say this first, I adore reading the asks you sent because all of it was basically the biggest problem I had with Allura the second she was revealed in Voltron. And the main reason for that? Was how she introduced herself by being a glaringly-obvious Princess-brat trope that does not think before she decides to speak. This was her first rash and impulsive act as a “royal” Princess.
This is why I have a hard time believing those who say Allura’s racism towards the Galra is valid because, I do not know about you, but being cryogenically frozen during the heat of war then waking up and thinking the main important thing to do is call someone’s ears hideous? What happened to “the war is still fresh in her mind”? And no, suddenly opening up a journal to remember “Oh, yeah, the war! Zarkon evil! I should be angry!” does not fly with me.
I am not saying her trauma is not real, only her reaction to it is slightly misplaced.
In any case, let us move on to the comparison of Allura and I being similar to Honerva and Zarkon. Oddly enough, I did not see this clicking at all in the show. Mostly because, in terms of what happened between them story-wise, Allura and I are more like Alfor and Zarkon. And this is just based off their relationship. Maybe I am a man who strives more for platonic relationships in shows aimed towards children, but I really did not feel the romance at all in Lotura.
Not even with the sickening way she suddenly started pining after me at the realization that I am half-Altean.
And this is the big point in the show. Zarkon and Honerva loved each other not because of their race, but because they just do. Alfor and Zarkon? They both use their power as royals to achieve a greater good. Except, in the case of Allura, she chose to commit unspeakable acts of betrayal based on feelings. Sounds oddly familiar to Alfor, no? Sacrificing all of Altea to ensure she lives? Because he is such a good father, pure of heart who must protect his daughter at the expense of not one, but two entire planets.
He loves her so much, he sacrificed his own people for her. That is why Allura is more like her father in that aspect. Both rulers let their feelings control their actions. Throughout the entire 8 seasons of Voltron, Allura has constantly gone either completely irrational or completely poised for the public, never in between. She does her self-sacrificing bit way too many times and, when she coincidentally lives afterwards, she puts herself on a pedestal as if she was right in her self-indulgent martyr actions.
Which she most certainly is not, because it is common knowledge that if you want to help people, you should be actively staying alive to do so. It is as though once she believed all “her” people died, she has no real purpose to stay around after her grand plan of eradicating all the “evil” Galra from space gets completed. I am sorry to say, or perhaps not, but she really does remind me of a terrible Mary Sue who can do no wrong. Alive or dead.
And this shit? Gets brushed aside or ignored by a majority of the Paladins. I will go ahead and blame it that most of them are all very, very young and lack the experience to speak out against those in charge. In fact, the only two who spoke against her in any sense were Shiro and Keith, even Pidge for family reasons. Shiro when he wanted to support putting myself on the throne and Keith? Well, that is a bit more complicated.
Anyone remember the scene where Keith kept telling Allura that he does not want to hear a lecture from her, and she does it anyways because she is just looking out for Voltron and emotionally guilting him is the best way to go about it? No? Oh, right, maybe it was because she acted like a mother admonishing him for “shirking” his responsibilities. I do not even need to go on about how much I heavily dislike one of the two female members mothering her teammates.
You know what would have been a great development here? If she supported him instead of “disciplining” him as if he stayed out past midnight. Maybe not even support him! Just be like “Okay, I know this is important for you, so tell us what we need to do to help you. We’re a team and as a team we will help you however we can.”
In this sense, Shiro was trusting Keith and doing the right thing by giving him the space he needed to find himself. Allura, on the other hand, was pushy and ultimately did not care at all for him as a person, but him as a useful Paladin tool. If he was so revered as the Black Paladin, then should she not be, I do not know, following his orders by the T? Or is her role as a royal, Altean Princess whose spirit is connected to Voltron more important?
And even before all this, she believes her and Keith are supposedly buddies now since she gave a half-assed apology for being a racist cunt to him. No one, I guarantee you, no one forgets racist comments, regardless of repaired friendships. Especially when her cold-shoulder and outright blatant ignorance is being seen as “Oh, it’s okay for her to feel like this! What do we know, we’re just humans from Earth who have apparently never read a history book.”
Before I get into the nitty-gritty details about why comparing Zelda and Allura are the same people, let me just say this concerning Allura’s hot-headed temper and unchecked racism involving a relationship with myself. That shit does not work and Allura should have taken the time to sort herself out before mixing in a “loving” relationship with an Altean and Galran man. I am all for equal support in a couple, but she did nothing to support myself as a person because she never saw both sides of my heritage.
Allura only saw Altean blood and hyperfixated on that alone. Which, do I even need to spell out how terrible it is to judge someone based on their appearance? Based on their race? Whether in a good or bad light, she once again goes from “I will not have some quiznaking Galra on my ship” to “Your mother was Honerva? You’re Altean!” mode. It is fine to be prideful, but she should have already known the dangers of being too prideful of one’s race.
Considering she is a royal, considering she was raised with political knowledge, considering her father and the Emperor of the Galra Empire worked together, Allura should have been aware of her Achilles Heel and understand her responsibilities.
Okay, now, Allura being like Zelda?
Tumblr media
Alright, I only played a handful of LoZ games, but even I know that Allura is absolutely nothing like Zelda, even with both of them having the Princess title.
We already established that Allura is way too rash and irrational when under any duress. Even when shit is not going down, her way of thinking is very straight forward and linear, disregarding the bigger picture as a whole for her own closeted judgements. Allura has even ignored her royal advisor’s advice too many times to count, excusing her reasoning as “It’s the only way, Coran. I must do this.”
Zelda? Zelda does not, at all, follow Allura’s way of thinking. In fact, OoT has a similar plot to Allura and myself. Link skips 7 years of his life, wakes up to Hyrule being controlled by Ganondorf, and the Princess is MIA. Though, if any of you have played the game, then you know that the Princess was actively trying to save the kingdom. Not just Hylians, but Zoras and Gorons as well.
And the way she accomplished this was by disguising herself as Sheik. Not because she was a coward, but because she knew the importance that came with being a Princess, the next heir to rule, and the one who has the Triforce of Wisdom under her control. Key word here: WISDOM. Something Allura did not display at all in the show.
If we are comparing Zelda to any character, she is more like the exiled Prince than Allura herself. Both Zelda and myself have the wisdom and first-hand experience of suffering under active war. Both actively saved, or tried to save, those they came across. And both understood the political discourse that hurt everyone, not just one specific race. Everyone.
But if that is the case, then Link would be similar to Allura in the sense that they both woke up to disaster. The big difference between Link and Allura? Link would not have killed Sheik once he revealed himself to be Zelda. Not even because Sheik was being deceiving. Link would understand why Zelda had to hide for her own safety, because she was vital to the plan to restore balance to Hyrule.
Even if Link was miffed about Zelda not being truthful? He knows that, under no circumstances, can they chance the risk to kill her over his own personal feelings.
“But that doesn’t mean Zelda never curbed her temper!”
In Twilight Princess, when the kingdom was already starting to fall under evil clutches, Zelda teams up with Midna, an exiled Princess of the Twilight world. I can not imagine how helpless Zelda felt in the face of Zant overthrowing the kingdom, but did she go off and leave the citizens to suffer for all of eternity? No. She accepted aid from those who were willing, even the Princess of the other world.
And, on top of that, Zelda understood that Midna’s world and her own were like two sides of a coin. They must coexist with each other to achieve peace. In fact, I vaguely remember Zelda sacrificing herself to help Midna. Imagine that. Using your powers to help the “enemy” for the greater good. Tell me when Allura helped the Galra out of her own free will? Her own understanding that the Galra need her help just like every other race in the universe?
No, the BoM does not count. Not with her attitude shining through after her “Zarkon is in power because you guys are cowards!” spiel. Not when she begrudgingly helped save Warlord Lahn while simultaneously profiling him out of spite with “Did you buy those weapons or steal them?” And no, not when she built Sincline with myself with the intention to harvest unlimited quintessence then immediately turn around and aid in murdering me, the Emperor of the Galra Empire, over a weak accusation.
Overall, Allura really is the type of person to barge into other people’s problems, claim “I am here to help you all!”, then throw a hissy fit when people ask for specific aid rather than follow her “My way or the highway” attitude. Terrible writing or not, she was always like this since the very beginning. It is kind of like…she had many chances to improve, but she just made her own situation worse and refused to stop to reflect upon herself.

Thoughts on Digimon Adventure tri.: “Loss”
Well, it’s been over a month. I’ve watched “Loss” at least twice now. I kept putting this off because of life/laziness/being distracted by BotW, so I should really get this done or “Symbiosis” will be here before we know it and I still won’t have even watched Digimon Tamers.
Plus I’m listening to a ton of Digimon music right now, so that always helps me get through writing these walls of texts. Go below the break for my thoughts if you’re curious.
Well, after the devastation “Confession” put us through, despite me having to wait about a month or so after watching it compared to most who waited several months, there was a lot to wait for and be anxious about with “Loss”. I said after my thoughts on “Confession” that “Loss” was going to have to be really careful with what it did next. Between the whole reboot, the partner Digimon (except Meicoomon of course) losing their memories, and setting up Gennai as an antagonist, these could all be things that could easily be screwed up or anger people, myself included. So how does it stack up against “Confession”?
I won’t lie and say that “Loss” is a step down in comparison. It is significantly shorter after all--the shortest of all of the films so far even--so it had to deal with a lot in such a short time. Now, that doesn’t make “Loss” bad by any means. I would say it’s about the same level as “Determination” for me, and that’s not bad at all. But it does have its problems. I’ll start from the beginning.
I will say, I really like how “Loss” starts out. I really like the silent film feel of it. Maybe some people wanted voiceover, but I liked the stylized storytelling here. I also really like that tri has brought the “original DigiDestined” plot element back, something that they never went into detail with and could have been easily left alone. But what I’m also really glad about is that they showed the four Digimon Sovereigns--something I was really upset that Digimon Adventure 02 pretty much dropped off the face of the earth. Getting more backstory on Himekawa and Nishijima was good too, and I’m really looking forward to how that may turn out. This does leave me questioning what happened to the Dark Masters between this flashback and the events of the original Adventure series since they didn’t really explain it. I’ll just assume they were temporarily sealed away since it’s clear that they weren’t defeated.
Now for how the Digimon were handled in this, I’m glad they were careful and took the right step in not having their memories immediately or quickly given back after reacquainting with their DigiDestined partners. I personally do hope they get their memories back, but I definitely don’t want said memories to just be handed out, or it would really kill the impact “Confession” had. It is good to see their emotional bonds are intact, as seen towards the end with their Digivolutions. The Digimon themselves were great too, and it was heartwarming to see them get to know their partners once more... with a couple of exceptions.
I did enjoy seeing all of the Digimon again, though my first problem was Piyomon. Before I discuss Piyomon, I have no problem with Sora and Piyomon having to work to know each other again. I don’t even necessarily have a problem with Piyomon pushing Sora away. If a stranger approached you and claimed to know you, it would make sense to push them away. It’s the execution more than anything--I feel like they honestly stretched it to the point of writing Piyomon OoC. I didn’t expect her to be loving towards Sora and I get they were trying to do an inverse of when Sora and Piyomon met for the very first time, but they wrote Piyomon to be too mean-spirited in my opinion.
Piyomon was almost never a jerk to anyone like this, unless they were rude to her first. Sora was still very careful and gentle with Piyomon, but she continued to be really rude to her. I would have understood maybe if Piyomon was more scared, confused or even became more firm and rude to Sora as she kept pushing herself as her partner. But Piyomon was rather harsh from the get-go, so it just doesn’t come off right. Even as an inverse, Sora was never cruel or rude to Piyomon as she kept clinging to her--she was more confused, creeped out, and a little annoyed than anything. I guess I can respect that they were trying to do something different and ultimately, Sora and Piyomon became partners once more, but I do think they could have treated it better.
The other issue is, unfortunately, Meicoomon. I’ve had a hard time liking Meicoomon as it is--I’m not even that fond of her design--but I think she was at her absolute worst in “Loss”. The intact memories not only makes her out to be a “special snowflake” (which seems to be the case with this whole “Libra” thing), but it’s still unexplained as to how she has those memories. I’ll assume they will eventually explain it, but holding it off still does it make things frustrating. This isn’t helped by the fact that Meicoomon honestly comes off as really annoying for me in this film. She goes from crying for Meiko’s attention, to going on a rampage because Meiko isn’t there, then getting angry when Meiko actually does show up. She’s all over the place, and her mood swinging honestly got annoying for me really fast. Maybe the writers are trying to convey that losing Meiko made her lose her sanity, which could lead up to another plot point, but without many answers it’s just a chore to sit through.
Meiko is hard for me to discuss in this too. I’m extremely bothered by the fact that she conveniently ends up in the Digital World when she finally decides she wants to see her Digimon again, but at the same time I expected this to happen anyway (which unfortunately just continues to meet my low expectations for her). I can already guess that some convenient distortion showed up to bring her there, but that’s another unanswered question. At the same time however, I have to admit her character actually improved in this film. Mind you, it didn’t improve much and I still don’t like her, but she did admit she screwed up and is trying to make an effort to make up for her mistakes. Not to mention, she isn’t having moe traits and blush stickers constantly slapped on her as much anymore. Still, her admitting she screwed up was also something I expected, so she has done nowhere near enough to change my opinion on her. I do hate feeling this way, but that’s just my opinion. She has improved, but not by much, and I can only hope her character finds a way to get better in the last two films. I don’t expect to like her by the end, but I’m not going to make a firm, final jugment on her just yet.
Now, back to things I liked. For Digimon I did like, I need only one word: SALAMON. I am so, so glad that Salamon finally got some screentime with tri. She only had extremely brief appearances in the original Adventure series and Adventure 02, so to get a few full episodes with her was so great. She is downright adorable, and I’m glad she got all the screentime she got (Where are all of my gifsets, tumblr!?). Honestly, had Salamon been part of the main cast of Digimon partners, she could have been my favorite instead of Gomamon (no offense to my favorite seal). It may be insignificant, but I’m glad tri gave time to Salamon. Unfortunately, Salamon’s Digivolution animation to Gatomon is... pretty bad. The Champion Digivolution animations are really hit or miss, but Gatomon’s is definitely a miss unfortunately.
More onto the plot(mon), I did like seeing some of the DigiDestined visiting old locations and being with other Digimon partners was a fun idea. I’m only sad they didn’t do very much with it, though I guess that would be something better to serve as filler. And considering the limitations of these films, filler is something they can’t really do too often. This is especially the case in “Loss” because they established a lot of new plot elements and worldbuilding. From what I understand, a lot of Digimon fans aren’t happy about Yggdrasil being in tri. It’s completely different for me because this is my first exposure to Yggdrasil in Digimon, and since it apparently crosses different Digimon universes, I’m really curious how the writers for tri will handle this (plus oops I’m a sucker for Norse mythology inspired material). Still, I think the writers have done enough story building at this point and need to bring it to a halt. With only two films left to answer all of the questions they’ve brought onto us, any more worldbuilding would just hamper the plot.
Gennai also plays a bigger role in this now, seemingly an antagonist. I have no idea how this is the case and they don’t really explain, but I can only assume he’s been corrupted somehow and is now being influenced by Yggdrasil. He is outright creepy in this, and I can’t really say I like that he’s a creep, but I will say it’s effective considering how much he did creep me out. What interested me more was some of the things he mentioned with the reboot, with all Digimon being brought back--including ones that died in the real world. Does this mean we’ll see characters like Wizardmon again? Old villains like Devimon? Or God forbid, are they going to bring Myotismon back again? Strike me down if he ends up being the one behind all of the events of tri again somehow. He’ll basically become the Ganondorf of Digimon.
Also, does this mean Leomon died only to be brought back again and probably get killed off again? His deaths really are just a giant running joke at this point, aren’t they?
That’s all just speculation though. More to my feelings on “Loss”.
On the note of villains, I really hope Himekawa just goes nuts from here on out. After all the work she’s gone through only to meet her Tapirmon once more and have him reject her, I’m really excited to see her just break like an eggshell. I don’t know why, but I just love seeing calm and collected antagonists absolutely lose it when they don’t get what they want and just fall into madness because of it. That’s not to say I don’t feel for her, I do, and I feel for Nishijima as well, but I do want to see just how crazy Himekawa will go after seeing her years of selfish efforts mean nothing.
I honestly really like how Himekawa is a sort of antithesis to what the DigiDestined are in this series. The DigiDestined have struggled with trying to grow up, but are gradually accepting they can still hold onto the things they love while moving forward. Himekawa, on the other hand, is someone who has grown up (or at least pretends she has grown up) but is so stuck in her past that she absolutely refuses to let go of her childish dreams to the point that she will risk everything and hurt everyone for her own gain. It’s honestly pretty twisted and I just love it.
One little thing I will say I’m disappointed in is that the two Dark Masters that return in this film don’t really talk at all. They seem to just be mindless vessels, and I assume that’s actually the case since they’re under Gennai’s influence--otherwise they would just be doing what they want. Granted, Machinedramon was kind of always mindless and emotionless. But I’m kind of sad we won’t be hearing Doug Erholtz doing a campy surfer dude voice for MetalSeadramon in the dub. If the other two Dark Masters do appear in the next film, I kind of hope they talk since Piedmon and Puppetmon were so reliant on talk with their personalities. Piedmon was extremely cocky and a jokester, while Puppetmon was very childish. But again, if these Dark Masters are just hollow shells of their original incarnations, I guess I shouldn’t expect it either.
Now, for the few fights that were in “Loss”, I still had a lot of fun with them. If you follow me, you already know that Joe tackling Gennai and Gomamon fish slapping him with Marching Fishes is my favorite scene. But in terms of the actual fights, I did still like how Sora and Piyomon reconnected, despite my initial complaints on Piyomon. Seeing Hououmon was definitely a highlight for me (gosh is she just beautiful), and after how much of an ass Machinedramon was, I was just rooting for him to be torn apart. I am starting to think the evolution animations are taking up too much screentime, but I can’t deny that I do still like seeing all of the Digimon in each stage. Still, for time’s sake, it might be best that the animators start doing Warp Digivolution animations from here on out.
The biggest controversy in terms of the fights is for sure Seraphimon. And I do admit, I would be lying if I said it didn’t feel out of nowhere and there was definitely less focus compared to Hououmon. It does sort of feel like T.K. got cheated out, but at the same time, he basically managed to go beyond his own darkness by the end of “Confession”. He and Patamon did get their focus in the previous film, and it would have been anticlimactic for an infected Patamon to Digivolve all the way to an infected Seraphimon, but come with the same outcome as the reboot that happened in “Confession”. You could make a counterargument with HerculesKabuterimon’s appearance I guess, but the difference here is that T.K. is meant to be a symbol of hope with his crest. By having Seraphimon fail in preserving the other’s memories, it would basically be saying that hope means nothing. And with Patamon being infected and T.K. being devastated by it, their hope was gone. It wouldn’t have really made sense for them to have achieved that there.
I guess the writers were sort of torn between cheesing their way out of the memory loss by having Seraphimon save the day and actually having the Digimon lose their memories. I wouldn’t change what the writers did in “Confession”, with all of the emotional development T.K. and Patamon got as well as their struggles, so I think they just had to make a tough call here. Had they given T.K. and Patamon another big arc (which as a fan of both characters, I wouldn’t have personally minded), it probably would have come off as unfair. Still, it was a tough call regardless, and I was still happy to see Seraphimon show up and help with downright annihilating Machinedramon.
“Loss” does end on another cliffhanger (though haven’t pretty much all of these ended on a cliffhanger of some kind?), but it’s nowhere near as devastating as “Confession”’s cliffhanger. “Loss” may not have been good as its predecessor, though I do think “Confession” set up a pretty high bar for tri, and it was by no means bad. “Loss” was still good, just with a few glaring flaws for me here and there.
I will say that I’m really looking forward to “Symbiosis” based on what little we know so far. We know Kari is now the focus and has her own darkness to go beyond, which will be interesting, but the low quality image of the poster apparently depicts Ophanimon Falldown Mode. I know apparently some really want Magnadramon as Gatomon’s Mega, but I personally prefer Ophanimon for consistency with Angewomon and for what the PSP game did. But Ophanimon Falldown Mode is really interesting because of its descriptions, being a Digimon that became “so angry that it suppressed its own emotions and fell into madness. It swelled with anger at the world, where atrocious sins keep mounting no matter how many times they are purged, and it closed off its heart.” With this, Gatomon’s lost but tragic memories, and Kari even feeling that Gatomon is better off without said memories, I feel like this plot could practically write itself.
Not to mention, tri has probably made Kari more human than she’s ever been. I actually like her quite a bit in this series, and I really think they could potentially work wonders with her in this. Please tri writers, please don’t mess this up. You’ve managed to get me to like Kari up to this point. Please make her a character I can really like and really give her some good development and a chance to shine here. Don’t mess it up when we’ve come this far. There is so much good you can do here.
I know Meiko will probably get a fair amount of development in the next film too, but I honestly don’t know if it’ll be enough to make me like her. If they can at least make me more indifferent or neutral towards her in the way I felt about Kari originally, I would be satisfied with that. But please don’t mess this one up guys. There is so much good potential for this next film, I can just feel it, and I really want to enjoy it.
Still, that’s months away from now, and we don’t even have so much as a synopsis for “Symbiosis”. I guess from here on out it’s just several months of waiting, and I really hope we can get another good set of episodes like with “Confession”. I’m curious and really wanting to know what they’ll do next, and overall I’m still honestly really enjoying tri and enjoyed “Loss”, despite all of its flaws.
But uh, can we finally get to the 02 cast in the next film? Like at least get some answers about what happened to them? Please? Please?

more botw blogging, SUPER spoilery
this is a real long post sorry normally i break these up and this time i didn’t
and finally, off we go to a new province
this time im making its tower my first stop, since i can see it from here
i tried to paraglide across the river but i didn't have enough height so i landed on the cliffside and ITS RAINING!!!!! for fucks sake
i cant believe this game actually got me to hate rain..........
not only that but when i died in the water it didn't reload me back to where i started to glide from but a bit of cliff i stood on lol so #struggles right from the first minute
rain for the next 3 hours.......and i gotta climb it in the rain....jesus
i guess i could fast travel but i'd have to walk all the way back there :/
hmm. maybe the gae's throwing me the rain on purpose. an npc mentioned this river was notoriously difficult to cross :///
yep as soon as i turned away: it cleared. Great
well i see some bridge-like things further downstream i guess i'll check that out
lol jk i managed to glide across a different part and climb
like i saw my forecast change but then it changed back to sun so w/e i'll take it im up here now
aaaaah i can see so many cool things from here!!!!! i cant wait to explore them all!!!! that #new province feel
i hate like, feeling obligated to track down every last bit of stuff in the old ones when you're seeing new exciting stuff
but i love the feel of getting to a new one and not even knowing which cool thing to check out first
ohhh my god lol there's a big-ass bokoblin camp on the way to the tower i think i see a moblin but im not sure
aaaand im dead
at least there werernt any moblins!
tbh it isnt a difficult camp i just wasnt vigilant about healing
me every time i see something new: what the Fuck is that!?
in this case it was an ice wizzrobe which made it snow EVERYWHERE oh my god
That Was Difficult
if i didn't have my fire arrows and lynel bow it would have taken way longer
i died again!!!
those weird pattern bokoblins have SO much attack power ):
come on i have to clear out the camp AGAIN? and kill the wizzrobe?
naw dude i am skipping this nonsense i am going straight up the fucking cliff
HA i sniped them from above >:3
w
there's a zora on top of this tower!!!!!!!
omg poor thing he can't get back down i wish i could carry him on my paraglider
man i love the tower cutscenes and music and the way they unfold it's so cool
BIG SHINY NEW PROVINCE YYYYEAH!!!!
oh hey i found another zora down near these bridges
they all want me to go see their prince haha noooo i have too much to explore!!!
oooh it's so easy to get all turned around on these bridge thingies
man i love this province it's SO pretty
ah i found a goron on a sandbar!! how did you get out here with all this water...
nooo the blood moon again i knew it was coming the music has been funny all night >:(
lol jk the music faked me out its 2am and i warped to the stable for nothing (i was trying to get that one dude's reaction)
i came back and did the shrine and found another zora!! lol they all really want me to go see that dude
there's a thing i need to climb but ugh rain
while i was bored i chopped grass and attached octo balloons to things
now i am in the wetlands which are AWFUL to walk through i can practically feel the mud squishing between my toes and i want to die lmao
there are horses here!! i miss mine ):
ive done enough shrines now to get another upgrade but i dont feel like doing all that backtracking blegh
oh noooo i see a guardian out here, a moving one ;_;
ah it's been awhile since i failed to fight the still ones on the plateau...i wonder what the start screen meant by "the right tools" ive got a lot of damn tools!! did they mean arrows??
lol yet another zora telling me to meet with the prince.........dude
this prince must be either desperate or spoiled
uh
okay maybe its a glitch but i think?? i see?? a flying island in the distance? What The Fuck
wait no it looks kind of like a ship or giant bird??
my pins don't stick to it, it's definitely moving around
jesus fuck
AHAHAH FUCK THE GUARDIAN SAW ME
HAD TO TAKE REFUSE IN THE FUCKING SHRINE
jesus christ i hate those things!!!! you can't kill them!!!!!!!
NO oh my god there's a hinox over here too
why this Why This
lol the hinox fighting music is giving me trauma flashbacks
actually that wasnt so bad with a defense elixir on
maybe it's just me but this province feels kinda small? i feel like i could finish exploring it p quickly, which is nice
not that i'm not having fun but i know i'm going so slowly ):
me every five seconds: i miss my hooorse i want one to ride around to go faaaaster
i guess...i could catch...one of these
and like. not register it bc the stable is 10000 miles away but
a temp ride. let's see if i can. need to use up some of my sneak potions anyways
i caught one and rode it awhile, but my heart's not in training it...i want My Horse
oh my god wait i hear town music!! is this a stable right here!! AAAAAH
so i did catch a pretty black one and named it luna - had to let the first one i caught go lol but it didn't have great stats and i only rode it once so it'll be happier in the wild probably
KASS IS AT THIS STABLE IM SO HAPPY SO IS HESTU
he's playing epona's song i'm gonna CRY
I MISS EPONA IM DYING
oh my god he had a story for me!! the same one that impa told!!!!! man
the music is still so good. fuck.
lmao i was talking to one dude and he was like well might as well head back inside ugh that place is so filthy and the women so free you might as well call it a manfill
UM?? NINTENDO??
i can see hyrule castle super close from where i am and it looks super scary and i super want nothing to do with it rn
i get the feeling you can like, go in there whenever? maybe even do the endgame stuff early? but oh my god i Dont wanna
OMG i just mounted a bear
i read that you could ride things other than horses but holy shit lmao
i mean
it killed me after i got off, but man
sadly i must now board my horse and continue with The Story see i explored the non-story bits of that province SUPER quickly dang
oh no
this shrine is called a minor test of strength
Oh No
Why, God
oh. that was actually like SUPER easy compared to the other two haha phew
this lady at the crossroads said the prince was creepy omg i knew there was something, ahaha, excuse me, "fishy"
whoa i love his music theme!!
lmao i always get so SHOCKED when they talk!!! even still!!!!!
voice acted cutscenes of this game are like fmvs of final fantasy games in generations 5-7 lol
oh my god...the wink/sparkle thing...he's such a HAM
he's flattering me TOO much omg dude what do you want.......
ok, ok, i like him
he doesn't seem very trustworthy but since his people are in trouble i'll cut him some slack on that one
oh nooo i gotta climb this in the rain......
ah, it's sunshowering tho! that's kinda neat
i just got attacked by octoroks and my heart wept a little because traveling up zora's river dodging octoroks to get to and save zora's domain...I've Been Here Before
listen, i could write a book on this
(lol i did write 300k on this but shhh that was a long time ago)
like...if link is actually a reincarnation does he get flashes of memory
oot happened in every timeline but i know wind waker didn't
but do you think assuming this is in the same timeline as wind waker something in him feels at home the first time he sails a raft again
or hears kass play epona's song at the ranch
or ducks an octorok on his way to zora's domain
people treat the incarnation thing as a kind of tragedy - the world will never be free of evil so long as ganon/ganondorf exists
but maybe there's happiness in it too
no matter what happens, no matter how sad the ending - i mean hell, in this very game, link and zelda LOST
no matter what though, it's guaranteed that they'll see each other again
over and over and over without end, link and zelda are gonna meet and be together for awhile while they defend hyrule again
frankly if that's not a soulmate idk what is
and frankly i'm perpetually offended that they don't develop ganondorf the man more like they did in wind waker...that was the Peak tbqh
i would kill for something like that again
anyway
i love how present the current here is, like with the stuff floating down the river, thats a NICE touch
tbh it's actually really nice that he keeps uselessly checking on me on the way up the river
like, i've been so lonely
even now i miss my companion going "what's WITH that guy" like they probably would if i had one
so this is nice. tbh.
i know it was probably a deliberate choice and makes the game stronger but a companion for this game, someone to share it with...that would've been cool
even just zelda as the protag, she could do some internal narration
but the whole thing is just so quiet.
this place is so pretty tho?? in the distance i see these like, pink coral looking plant things, and the blue columns and bridges are gorgeous
OH NO LIGHTNING GOD WHY
i think its an area thing too i cant just wait it out lmao im gonna Die
oh jk it's just rain now
idk why my entire forcecast changes to a particular type of weather and its only like that a few seconds...super weird and annoying
lol sidon all "you're almost halfway there i believe in you!!" and not helping fight and link's little "k" wave
i love link as a silent protag even if i did have him talk in my writing like it's so endearing
i wonder if link is like sgr like "i am 100 years old what is this zora kid even doing. what is he EVEN DOING."
lol just had to dodge some rocks rollin down a hill
you see this is what i mean. there's a weird sense of familiarity and nostalgia if you've played the games a lot. i wonder if the spirit of the hero feels that way with each new adventure, too
like if he's okay doomed to an eternity of fighting and parting with zelda over and over
because in the end he always gets to do this again
like i can see the spirit of the princess/goddess being high key miserable about those circumstances but i wonder if the spirit of the hero is maybe secretly glad
because part of him will always yearn for the next adventure
he never COULD be happy settling because this is what he was born for
WE love doing this again and again and again, maybe it's not such a stretch to think the spirit of the hero does too
or maybe i'm projecting so hard onto him because undertale has so successfully blurred the line between the player and the game for me LMAO
oh man i just noticed all the names on this map
lulu, mikau ;_;
i miss them!!!!
just once i wish zelda games would feature the same side characters in two or three titles
we never got to see saria or darunia or lulu again
we get to come back to the world but every friend we've ever made has been gone
like some narnia shit i swear to god
lol this is why i should never do story all i do is rant about My Zelda Feels, which are literally endless
oh NICE battle with a blue moblin on the bridge!!!!
ah i like the zora history here too please give me all the worldbuilding i wanna know everything about this world that i can bc rn all i know is "we got Fucked"
i guess i also know about the automans but i need More
i say, while procrastinating on getting to the story
in other news i have an ice and lightning rod which i havent bothered trying to use
bc when i tried to use the boomerang i failed utterly lol
but these? holy shit dude these are Powerful when you actually land a magic hit like Dang
i Love them im never avoiding another wizzrobe again (thats where they drop from)
oh wow
i finally made it, and
man. oh man. it's so beautiful
i wish i could see if better
jesus the zoras always had the prettiest parts of the games imo
OH NO THE MUSIC
OH NO!!! im gonna cry omg
it's the same melody from oot i think!! oh my god!!!!!!
omg there's a zora here named rivan who says he knows me?!?!
omg no he's listing some of link's old pals from Before im so sad why can't he remember
OOOH i shouldn't speak to the elderly bc apparently i am "guilty" of something?? i love this development PLEASE tell me more
i love that they all age so slowly #nice
am i walking into a fucking execution lmao sidon don't play me......
omg the little zora kids are adorable!!!
omg there's a statue of the zora champion ;_;
man this is all so cool i wanna know EVERYTHING about what happened back then!!!!
lol the shrine here was SUPER nerve wracking god you had to like, roll the giant ball down a hill and stop time at JUST the right moment skjghf
oh my gosh ANOTHER zora who knows me (lol "linny")
im so ;w; they all know me!!!!!!
i slept on the blissful water bed at the inn and was mystified and alarmed by the sound effects but i got an extra stamina wheel and 3 extra hearts!!! god damn you can't beat that shit
im so amazed at how many people knew link and like, blame him? i wanna know so bad what happened, i wanna know more about mipha
ten bucks says she's still alive and like trapped in the divine beast but corrupted
or a ghost or something like the old man ;_;
aww zoras sleep in the water aw aw :3
i'm loving this theme of link sleeping for so long like at first i thought of sgr but i just realized it's also like oot (and i can't believe i didn't make that connection first...)
like in oot the people who knew him Before are so happy to see him again and are sure he can help them
but in this game it's a bit mixed
and in this game we don't know the details of 100 years ago yet ;_;
zora's domain here is like. so GLOWY. reminds me of waterfall from undertale tbh lol i wanna paint it
so i'm talking to the king and this one elderly zora goes "the hylians abused an ancient society's power to turn hyrule into what it is today" & like...tbh my dude you have a point. if they had never gotten those guardians out then they couldn't have turned on them
oh my GOD
i just got my first look at a divine beast and i can't believe i was calling them jaegers
my jaw dropped irl holy shit
like that thing truly looks both divine and beastly (this one is an elephant)
is mipha still in there as like a ghost ;_;
it's so clear how much everyone misses her
and she seemed so sweet in the one short memory i recovered
every time sidon does his sparkle smile i love him a little more
i didn't trust him at first bc he seemed a little too eager but now i see he's just doing his best!!!!
especially as someone who thinks radically and progressively in a society where elders stay around hundreds of years
YESSSSS I GOT ZORA ARMOR!!!! YES!!!!!!!!
SWIM SPEED UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
omfg and it's an engagement thing just like the sapphire
MADE BY MIPHA?
thats right that other lady said link was supposed to choose between her and mipha
listen mipha seems cool and all but i've been shipping zelink for 19 years, so
oh NO, mipha had feelings for link
oh no poor mipha...oh my god
WAIT AM I ABOUT TO GET ANOTHER MEMORY??? OH MY GOD!!!!!
duuuuuude
"no matter how bad the wound i will ALWAYS" heal you and then link wakes up in water
did she do that!!! did she save him ;_; oh my god im going to cry
"you are quivering like a hatchling" PLEASE protect my poor son
muzu is making me sad dude he misses her so much and he hates this so much
ooooh i have to fight another lynel for shock arrows...good Lord im not looking forward to that
I KNEW IT
"calamity ganon took control of the beasts and trapped the champions inside" yep either she's still alive like link and zelda or her body is in there and so is her fucking ghost
DUDE!! i just swam up my first waterfall and it was AWESOME!!!!!
so im at shatterback point now hwere lynel is just bc i wanted to swim up a waterfall but probably he will kill me quickly lmao
apparently you can mount him too which. sick.
but idk i dont have any good food or elixirs or weapons ready im just up here for science im probably gonna knock off soon i gotta Draw
Oh Fuck There He Is ):
it's super tedious to have top go back and delete every fucking picture i take for my copendium one by one those shouldn't save in my album automatically come on dude im trying to take a picture of this lion centaur thing here
aaah there's a rainbow here too #nice
ah well got him about a quarter pf the way down before i died :/ not bad for being completely unprepared
tbh i only had one defense food?? had i had more i could have whittled him down eventually
anyway thats all for tonight!! i doubt i'll play anymore tonight bc i have drawing to do
lol this is a long post but it's all in one bc i'm typing them in notepad now and don't have to worry about them getting too long

Part 4, where things get really dumb
Hey, wanna see a team-up and rivalry that makes zero sense as I continue this riff?
Because you’re going to get one.
A/N: You guys want it? You got it. The Samus and Luigi and Dante and Nariko chapter. Enjoy.
That means this was someone’s fan suggestion, which I checked the reviews to confirm.
Richie didn’t plan all of this ahead of time that means, which is… kind of a bad decision, unless you really, really know what you’re doing. Richie of course, does not. He could have benefitted from planning all of the rivalries, and how each scenario would play out so they aren’t ridiculous and one-sided.
Luigi was exploring Haunted Mansions where he hear some footsteps behind him. Taking out his Poltergust 3000, he turns to the footsteps nervously.
Bolding the hilarious typo, I should be on the look out for these more often.
I know it’s a simple mistake and I do it to, but that’s why I ask for friends to help me in case my proofreading doesn’t catch everything.
Then Zero Suit Samus came around the corner. Luigi panicked and ducked under a piano. Samus approached him.
"Luigi! It's me, Samus!" She said banging on the piano top.
Luigi crawled out of the piano. "Oh… it's you, Samus. Why are you here?"
"I came here to find you. There been some recent activity going on. It seem that the Hands are back, being controlled by an unknown being" Samus said.
"What?! W-W-W-Why do you need my help?" Luigi asked.
"Because Mario is with Link at the moment and there been some merge with the other world too, now come along" Samus snarled as she dragged Luigi out.
"But what if the ghosts begin rampaging about?" Luigi cried.
"Then you can stop them later" Samus said. And they set off towards their destination.
Alright, now while the intro is creative, I still gotta ask, why this partnership?
Especially when the rivals they face have nothing in common. Also, Samus is a little too snippy here for my liking. I can understand not having the highest patience, but she should try to understand Luigi’s uncertainty about the situation.
Granted, I dunno much about Metroid to begin with, so eh.
"Oh wow. Some of those fighters-a are pretty scary" Luigi said scared as he and Samus walked by another.
"Courage, Luigi. It won't be far now. We're very close soon" Samus said.
"Soon? Soon it would be already too late" said a voice behind them. They turned to see Dante behind them pointing his twin pistols at Luigi.
"AAARRGGH! PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!" Luigi pleaded.
OOC Counter: 11
Calm the fuck down Luigi, this is really out there for him. He would probably more likely just hide behind Samus.
Samus ran up to help him but Nariko blocked her path with her sword.
"You two should not be here. Leave now or face the power of my sword" said Nariko.
"OK. I choose… face the power of your sword" Samus said as she took out her whip-gun and clanged against Nariko's sword. Luigi ran away from Dante as Nariko joins Dante's side and Luigi joins Samus.
"Your friend here is a coward little girl" Dante smirked as he take out his rebellion sword "You two should forfeit when you have the chance."
"Don't count us out just yet. Luigi! Stop being afraid. Give them everything we got!" Samus ordered.
Luigi swallowed what most of his courage left and takes out his Poltergust 3000. "Alright, Samus. I'm ready."
Why are Nariko and Dont-- excuse me, Dante, antagonizing them? Dante is a jerk, but Nariko has no reason to. She would question them first on what they are doing there, then tell them that they should walk away from the situation at hand.
OOC Counter: 12
Generic scene where Master Hand begs for help, nothing new other than repetitive wording. Yawn.
Arriving back outside the mansion, Luigi turned to Samus.
"Tell-a me, Samus. Did Mario sent you to try to teach me how to be-a brave?" Luigi asked.
"He did. About time you noticed" Samus said "He wanted you to be more courageous to teach King Boo a lesson. Also, from our journey, you helped us save the universe."
"You're-a welcome" Luigi said as he prepared to head towards the mansion. "Thanks to you, I'm more prepared for any ghost, Boos or anything-a else that the mansions throw at me."
Samus and Luigi glowed blue. "That's more like it. Mission accomplished" Samus said.
This would be a nice scene you know, if there was any build-up to it.
Mainly in the rival scene, and against Polygon Man. Also, bolded the obvious typo.
--
… Ironically, I think their team-up, while nonsensical, is better than Nariko and Dante’s.
Dante was once again fighting demons as usual, till he received an surprising guest.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't the 'princess'. What do you want, sweetheart?" Dante said as he held his rebellion high.
"I came not to have a quarrel with you" Nariko said "I still need to find a way to master this sword. But I came to ask for your assistance."
"Oh really? Well I fight alone, thank you very much" Dante said.
"Hear me out. The huge purple head has returned and seem to be merging worlds together, and soon, ours will be next" Nariko said.
"What? That huge purple bozo?" Dante smirked. "Alright... and it seem these other worlds has demons too right? This could be fun."
"I hope you feel like talking with your sword" Nariko said as she and Dante begin their journey together "cause there are opponents whom we have not crossed before."
Someone doesn’t know how Heavenly Sword ends, I bet you…
Why would Nariko ask a douche-y demon hunter to help her master her own sword? If she said “the worlds are being threatened, and I cannot go after King Bohan until I make sure that power hungry deity is gone for good”… that would be way more in her character, for one.
OOC Counter: 13
On that note, there are better options for Nariko to choose from. I don’t think she would have picked the demon hunter who she got into a pretty hostile fight with. The other opponents who were much friendlier, but just as skilled, would have been a much more reasonable choice.
And it’s obviously not because the characters were rivals in PSASBR, so they have to team up. Toro and Sackboy weren’t rivals, and later down the road, we have Heihachi and Zeus, along with Colonel Radec and Evil Cole (that chapter, I’m going to love tearing apart…)
Anyway, the rivalry scene is just copied from both Nariko and Dante’s. There’s nothing interesting, so I won’t paste it.
"If it ain't the sword wielding duo" Polygon Man said "Have you come to get beaten by me again?"
Polygon Man I think would be a bit more “high and mighty” when addressing former enemies. Here, he says “ain’t”… like he isn’t serious about this at all. Yeah, that isn’t something I could ever imagine Polygon Man using in a sentence.
Pretty clear Polygon Man is just a generic villain to Richie, thus why we had nothing interesting written about him, because he can’t do anything creative with our favorite, rejected mascot.
OOC Counter: 14
"It's not the sword, it's me. I have the power to control this sword" Nariko said.
No.
Fucking.
Shit.
This was already gone over in Nariko’s own scenario. If this takes place after her story in Arcade Mode, which is before the ending of Heavenly Sword. Why do you feel the need to repeat all of this, Richie?
This whole chapter proved that outside of a silly partnership, Richie didn’t know what to do with all four of these characters. Luigi and Samus are ridiculous, and have no reason to be fighting the two All-Stars… while Nariko and Dante here are just boring.
A/N: Now I'm gonna do a Villain chapter next with Bowser and Ganondorf and Zeus and Heihachi, and then place whom you wanna see next. Yeah, I beginning swapping partners so Heihachi will be with Zeus and Big Daddy will be with another character. So stayed tuned.
You should have planned this ahead of time then! Goddammit Richie, this isn’t hard! Go back and edit the intro then! Discuss with others what you should do!
Big Daddy never shows up anyway since Richie canned the fan-fic after 9-10 chapters, so there isn’t even a real loss…
Anyway, how can we improve this? Because I certainly have a bunch of pressing issues here.
And this one isn’t short either. This chapter? I made it go through a whole fucking rewrite, just so it made a lick of sense for my own satisfaction. Something I know I shouldn’t be doing probably, but fuck it!
Revoke having Luigi there, and make it normal Samus instead of the Zero Suit one. Instead, Samus decides to drag out Roy for the adventure, with the cooperation just as bizarre, but at least slightly sensible. Roy doesn’t get why Samus wants his help, when there were several options to choose from, but accompanies her willingly, and courageously.
Revoke Dante being there, and replace him with Isaac Clarke, to present a more interesting scenario. Isaac accidentally lands in her world, and Nariko says he would be able to return to his era possibly if they defeat Polygon Man. Isaac suddenly gets a headache with a vision, and Nariko says that his “strange power” could play a hand in locating Polygon Man. Isaac doesn’t know what he should do, other than help Nariko for now.
In the rival scene for the All-Star side, Isaac Clarke keeps questioning all the stuff that happens. He has constant visions about a pair of white gloves, being controlled by Polygon Man. Before he and Nariko go any further, they’re stopped by Samus and Roy, who heard what they had to say. Questioning the two All-Stars, Isaac is about to tell them what’s going on to avoid a fight, but Nariko tells them that its “their enemy”, so Roy and Samus have no business in it, thus leading to their battle.
In the alternate rival scene for the Smash side, Samus and Roy see the two All-Stars talking to each other. Samus questions if Issac is with the Galactic Federation, which Isaac denies, saying he’s just an engineer, one that’s been through “a lot”. Roy meanwhile, shows concern over the blade that Nariko wields, noting how it appears to be a powerful, legendary weapon. Nariko informs him that she’s a on a path that she cannot take back so easily. Roy learns that she means to exchange her life for using the sword. In order to “save them” from the madness they’ve gone through, Samus and Roy hope to make Nariko and Isaac turn back from the path they’re on.
Change the endings. On the Smash side, Samus and Roy are confused about what had happened, but believe that both worlds are at least at peace now, and they hope that the ones they faced are still alive. For the All-Star side, Isaac Clarke returns to his era, and Nariko is prepared to give up her life soon, something that Isaac tries to convince her not to do. It’s too late though, as she leaves to fight Bohan’s army one last time.
Whew… yeah, this won’t be the uh, last time I have to rewrite the whole damn rivalry that Richie made. Like this one, some of them are a complete mess. Granted, I’ve never played an FE game, so I doubt I’d do Roy any justice if I had to rewrite this.
The next chapter… will be easy for me at least. I’m not gonna have to change much.

Real Talk: Puzzling the Competition
Name: Puzzling the Competition
Fandom(s): Undertale and Super Smash Brothers
Chapters: 9
Description: Fandom called, spaghetti answered.
Summary: Papyrus and Frisk are recruited into the Super Smash Brothers tournament scene in another riveting collection of stories written by our good friend Beanus.
Beanus, Beanus, Beanus.
Who here remembers the part of “Bonetrousle” where a dimensional portal opens up only to immediately close again because Beanus had no idea what to do with it?
This fic is the alternate reality where that portal actually goes somewhere...and boy do I wish I made that up.
So, this being another Beanus masterpiece, it retains a lot of the same problems that “Bonetrousle” had. In case you don't believe me, though, I'm going to review this fic the exact same way I did the last one. Here we go.
STORY 1: Becoming a Smash Brother (Chapters 1-3)
A portal opens up and Papyrus calls Frisk over to investigate with him because Sans is too lazy to. Frisk quickly gets sucked into the portal, though, and Papyrus follows. They are then greeted by Master Hand and asked to participate in the next Super Smash Brothers tournament. After a bit of back and forth about Frisk being a pacifist and how the tournament uses special technology blah blah to make sure none of the fighters are actually hurt during a fight, Papyrus and Frisk accept (because we needed this fic to work somehow). Meanwhile, everyone else back home understandably freaks out about Papyrus and Frisk being missing. They are also visited by Master Hand and there's a lot of arguing (mostly about how they're going to keep up contact because that's the big issue here I guess) before everyone is eventually cool with what's going on (because we needed this fic to work somehow). Master Hand then magically gives them a special TV channel that lets them see what Papyrus and Frisk are doing, which immediately airs a special trailer for them involving a fight with Ganondorf, Bowser, and Wario and I can't tell whether or not it's supposed to be staged or real. The trailer is unrealistically long and terribly superfluous, but it's eventually over...but not before a final scene showing an obviously Chara-controlled Frisk that makes Sans feel horridly unsettled.
STORY 2: Settling In (Chapter 4)
The term “story” is used VERY loosely in this sense. Basically, Papyrus and Frisk arrive at the Smash Mansion and start interacting with some of the residents...which mostly consists of Frisk having a run-in with Dark Pit, then having flexing contest with Pit once he and Palutena come along. Nothing really important happens at all and there's no conflict throughout any of this. It's another case of that infamous Beanus filler, folks.
STORY 3: Sans is Upsetti Spaghetti (Chapter 5)
Sans has a confrontation with Master Hand over Chara that ends with absolutely no resolution to either side's problems. All that really happens is Sans yells a lot.
Also, toward the end of the story, Papyrus and Frisk show up in Peach and Rosalina's dresses. In the context of the story, this comes completely out of nowhere and is never explained, making it an utterly pointless, unfunny, forced “joke”. In the next chapter's author's note, though, Beanus clarifies that this is actually a reference to something that was scrapped from the story. This only serves to make that part even LESS acceptable, as there was once a context there that got taken out because...who knows???????? It's frankly infuriating.
STORY 4: The Year of Luigi Never Ends, Does It? (Chapter 6)
Papyrus and Frisk notice that Luigi is having self-confidence issues (even though the whole thing is triggered by Luigi being scared of Papyrus???), so they try to help him out. Frisk picks the lock to Luigi's room, then Papyrus barges in, then Papyrus and Frisk tell Luigi he doesn't have to be scared of them and apparently that fixed everything...but that still doesn't stop Papyrus from making Luigi run self-confidence laps anyway (shoehorned reference, anyone?)
The big problem here is that nothing actually gets solved here. The conflict is over way too quickly and nothing about it seems realistic. Beanus also confuses low self-esteem with cowardice and thinks that fixing one will automatically fix the other. Unfortunately, Beanus, that's not how that works.
STORY 5: ...um???? (Chapter 7)
Lucina and Robin think that Papyrus is a...zombie or something? (please don't kill me I don't know Fire Emblem) and he's kidnapped Frisk. Meanwhile, Papyrus is on a quest to make the perfect spaghetti and has a frankly inconsequential conversation with Dark Pit and Palutena in the process because I guess Beanus just likes Kid Icarus that much. Then, as Lucina and Robin get ready to ambush Papyrus, Papyrus rushes out of the kitchen and accidentally severely injures Robin. That's it.
I actually had to read this story a couple times over to actually get what was going on because I'm not savvy on either Fire Emblem or Kid Icarus. Without knowledge of those things, though, a lot of this story falls flat on its face. Maybe it's just me, but I find this to be the most throwaway story in this entire fic. Period.
STORY 6: Another Fire Emblem Reference I Don't Get (Chapter 8)
It's an April Fools story. Granted, it's a lot better than Beanus' LAST attempt at an April Fools story, but it's still another annoying story with an annoying running joke that's only “funny” twice before it starts to grate on your nerves. As for the plot, it's...something. First, Papyrus asks Corrin to try his spaghetti. Next, Papyrus misconstrues Corrin's words to make an extremely forced “unintentional” unfunny sexual euphemism that goes on for way too long and just makes me uncomfortable (and makes me remember when Beanus did essentially the exact same thing back in “Bonetrousle”). Next, Papyrus brings Corrin a bowl of soup to try to make her feel better because he thinks she's sick. Finally, Corrin proposes to Papyrus and they get married.
I would guess that this whole thing is a reference to some kind of friendship/romance mechanic in Fire Emblem, but, once again, I wouldn't know because I don't know a lot about Fire Emblem. That doesn't matter too much, though. All that matters is I didn't much care for this story on its own merits. The final plot twist comes out of nowhere and, while I get that this is an April Fools story and it's not meant to be taken seriously, I feel like I'm meant to take the entire rest of it seriously and it only makes the ending all that much more awkward.
STORY 7: Sick...of Beanus' Crap (Chapter 9)
This story features Frisk getting sick and Papyrus trying to do all he can to help. He calls in Rosalina to assist him and she tells him to make chicken noodle soup. Papyrus then goes to Corrin to help him make the soup (to which Corrin gets extremely flustered because apparently the April Fools story actually turned out to be a dream of hers she desperately wishes to forget...which means we both have something in common). Rosalina ponders the mysteries of Frisk (to no conclusion) before Papyrus comes back with the soup and Frisk starts feeling better.
That's it. That's everything this fic has to offer. You see what I meant now? From the weird pacing to the forcing things to happen just because Beanus wants them to without any real logic to the horrible running jokes to the terribly unfunny jokes, this fic really does line up well with Bonetrousle's problems. The only thing it's missing is the rock lady eating all the hotel furniture.
I'm not quite done yet, though. No, I actually have problems with the way Beanus portrays Papyrus and Frisk's actual game mechanics. By himself, Papyrus is fine. It's when we add Frisk into the equation, though, that things get...horrifically OP. Frisk can jump in by Papyrus' side at any time during the battle with a random attack each time, being comparable to an assist trophy or something to that effect. The problem is that assist trophies are relegated to items for a reason. By having an assist trophy you can call out at any time, you essentially always have a free partner. On top of that, Papyrus doesn't have one singular final smash. Instead, Frisk calls out whoever they want to perform a random final smash tailored to them (both Sans and Chara are shown and they both do completely different things, Sans' being an overpowered mess of a move that always hits all opponents and Chara's being more comparable to Marth's or Lucina's final smash). With all these things, it's VERY clear that Papyrus has a very big balancing problem.
*whew*
That's done.
Overall, Puzzling the Competition was a huge mess from an author who I knew made an even bigger mess already. It seems that, at one time, janky Papyrus-centered fics just so happened to be Beanus' specialty.

Enchanté, everyone. My name is Slyn Vulpes the story-teller, and this is my second fan fiction. to read this story, i recommend you know pretty much every game of the franchise, because there will have spoiler of every game so far, even BOTW. Also, OC. If you don't like, don't read. Beside, he will be the main protagonist.
Enjoy.
At first, everything was black, only darkness could be seen. Then, three coloured orbs slowly emerged from this darkness, and weakly, spoke in unison:
"After all... you returned... but too late... the ancient evil of this land has returned again... but this time not alone... powerful opponents will be on your way... be careful... You, who bear ours last hopes".
Their speech over, the orbs start to fade away with the darkness. And our protagonist, an young-looking man who were wearing a silver and gold helmet, dark pant and boots, and a white tunic with a red cross on it slowly wake up in a dark hallway. Of course, he didn't know where he was, neither how he end up here, all he remember was that he took his portal, but after that… nothing. After some quick look around him, our knight starts to explore his environment. It seemed that he was in the castle of some evil lord. How he could tell? By the bats, the dark purple paint of the walls, and also because after a few minutes of research, he end up in a room where was imprisoned Link. It's not a joke, and there was no doubt about it, Link, the Young hero of time, was right in front of him, unconscious, and after this, our hero knew where he was, when, and more important, that he will need to run.
And that was what he did, he run alone in the darks hallways, while looking for a way to get out of Ganondorf's castle. Or maybe it's Ganon's? He doesn't know and he doesn't care: neither forms are friendly; neither is going to let a danger like the hero of time, being free to put an end to their schemes. That probably the reason our hero has maybe the whole army of the castle who try to hunt him down. But thank god… I mean the goddess, he finally found the exit. With no hesitation, he used his gauntlet on his left arm, and creates a round shield, which he immediately throw at the giant door, before jumping on it and use it like a board. Soon he reach castle town, were some ReDead were waiting. Of course, when they see him they try to freeze him with their screams, and he simply smile at that. After all, there is no way it's going to work against him, and even if it does, he will be still moving because of his shield. The screams didn't affect him just like he thought. How? Well the answer will be waiting, because our skateboarder hero is now blocked by the drawbridge of the town. He didn't have time for this, so he took back his shield, and turn it into a crossbow mounted on his forearm, Still using the power of his gauntlet, he charge it with an arrow, before fires it on his obstacle. Then he looks behind him: the army was nearly there, and the ReDead… has only move of four steps. Our protagonist faces again the drawbridge, and with a snap of his fingers, he blew it up with his arrow, reducing it into ashes. But when the smoke dies down, our hero sees he has no other choices but the fight. Maybe all the monsters of Hyrule, except the Deku scrub and the wall masters, were here, waiting for a fight. Our encircled hero, knowing there was no other choice but the fight, walk to his enemies, and put his right hand on the sword of his back, meaning he was ready. You are maybe thinking that he knows he's not going to make it and he want to die like a warrior. But actually, he wasn't afraid of dying or something. Oh no! He was just annoyed by the fact he will have to fight, knowing he will be vanquisher. And even if they cannot see his eyes, all monsters could sense, if it's not feel, his might in his dreadful, invisible, look. Seeing that, some monsters, thinking they could take him down with ease, decided to attack him, so they will being see as powerful ones by their lord; a very bad idea. A slash too fast to be seen later and they were just bones on the floor. The monsters took a step back of surprise, not sure of what happened, but before others fools could do anything stupid, a very well know voice of this franchise, spoke from the sky:
"Impressive, young swordsman!"
Everyone looked at the proprietary of the voice, as he landed in front of our hero, he was exactly like any of his human incarnation, his only notable difference was his white armor. But it doesn't matter, what's matter is that our protagonist is face to face with Ganondorf himself, and both seem ready to clash theirs swords until one bites the dust.
"I would have killed them anyway, because they didn't respect my orders... But I have to say, I merely see you draw your sword, more than impressive."
"..."
"So, now young fool, you're going to tell me, WHERE IS THE HERO OF TIME!"
Our silent hero just tightens his grip on his sword for all answer.
"It seems I will have to get the information I need by force. My minions! Capture him alive!"
Of course, more afraid of their lord than by our knight, all monsters obeyed and rush over our hero, except one shadow behind our antagonist, who stopped it with his hand. A shadow our protagonist recognize pretty fast, it was, without doubt, Zelda. She was different, more like a porcelain doll than the joyfully princess he remembers. But, you can figure it out why easily: she was controlled by the evil king. The monsters where only at two inches of our knight when he understand it, and I think they didn't expect to be send flying away by a powerful wind coming from him, instead of his blade. The princess Zelda stayed still, because of her mindless state, and Ganondorf smiled at first, thinking it would be interesting, but his smile faded and became a puzzled expression when he sees the dark aura emanating from our hero. A dark aura that was actually pure anger, an anger which was so powerful that our hero wasn't able to contain it physically, an anger that could be seen in his now glowing blue-greens eyes. Our angered hero finally speaks solemnly:
"GANONDORF, REINCARNATION OF DEMISE, YOU HAVE DARED TAKING THE CONTROL OF THIS KINGDOM WITH COWARDLY METHODS, KILLED MANY INNOCENTS, AND TOOK AWAY THE CHILDHOOD AND THE INNOCENCE OF THESE CURSED CHILDRENS. FOR THAT, I, SLYN VULPES THE HYLIEN, PROTECTOR OF THIS WORLD, WILL MAKE YOU PAY."
The wind became more violent as our hero speak, the grass started to burn, while the temperature drop until ice could be formed on the armor of our antagonist. As the mighty army started to feel fear, Ganondorf seemed amused:
"So you can talk, I started to think you were mute."
He laughed a bit, and continued:
"And you are the protector of Hyrule I been warned about? The mighty Slyn Vulpes? "
"I AM, BUT NOT ONLY OF HYRULE, I'M THE PROTECTOR OF EVERY SINGLE KINGDOM ON THIS WORLD. AND I WILL PUT YOU DOWN ONCE AND FOR ALL"
"Well, this is promising! I was told you are strong enough to be able to slash a failing moon in two. Let's see if you are really that strong! My minions! Kill him!"
All fearful, the army hesitated. But, knowing they would die if they disobey, and could maybe survive if they obey, they chose the logical choice and attacked. They didn't last long, burned by the fire storm our hero made out of his anger, leaving nothing but burned floor and red heated weapons behind. Now, our really pissed off protagonist, charged once again his crossbow, and targeted his opponent with a new kind of arrow. Zelda, still a puppet in the hand of the evil, put herself between the arrow and the Targeted to take it instead. But, the grin behind the helmet of my friend tells me he expected this cowardly maneuverer. And so, the arrow crossed Zelda without hurting her, before hitting his target, right on the heart. But of course, it's wasn't enough to finish this story on the first chapter, so our sly hero fired dozens of the same arrow as quick as he could, each time, the puppet tried to protect the puppeteer, and each time, the arrow simply crossed by, hitting the still off guard Ganondorf. But the shock didn't last long enough for the last arrows to hit, blocked by their target. Ganondorf fired multiple magical orbs to our hero, who send them back with a strike of his sword, before being blocked by the puppet princess. Her screams fueling the anger already without equal, of our crusader swordsman. Ganondorf repeated the attack, but our hero wasn't named Slyn for nothing, and so he send back the attack again, but before anyone react, he targeted Zelda with his gauntlet, and fire a clawshot to the princess, stopping her before she could block the attack. Our antagonist changes his tactics, and attacked with a sword, distracting our hero who blocked the attack with his gauntlet in shield mode, before going into a sword fight. The two enemies clashed their swords with all their might, and our hero nearly win, but a light arrow cowardly fired on his back by the puppet princess weakened him, and leaved only a quarter of heart before he falls on the ground. Ganondorf laughed at the view of our fallen knight, and then he continued his speech between two laughs:"So it was true. The mighty servant of the light has for weakness his own master!"
He grabbed our hero by the collar, and looked right into his glowing eyes before he continues:
"And you thought you: a foolish, pitiful Hylien could defeat me? Mandrag Ganon, the king of darkness itself?"
Weakly, our knight simply shrugged his shoulders and said:
"I'm the protagonist of this fan fiction after all."
A bit caught off guard by the answer, Ganondorf stared for a while at the fourth wall breaker, once more puzzled, before throwing him on the ground. Then, he prepared his sword for giving the last strike. But before he could say farewell to the hero, he received a light arrow that made him fly away. Still on the floor, our hero with glowing eyes mockingly noticed:
"Those arrows are like my first girlfriend: they cheat on you with another man, before trying to cheat on him with you."
Ganondorf ignored the remark, and concentrated on the shooter: Zelda. She was weakly standing with her bow, facing the evil king, and tried with all her might to shoot another magical arrow, but passed out before she could archive it. Our hero rushed to her, and stopped her from violently failing on the ground, while his adversary could only mutter:
"She should not have being able to free herself, how…"
"Because of my arrows."
The answer came from our knight, now back at full health.
"You see, they're not arrow which you can find anywhere or make by yourself, no, these arrows judge, and cannot harm innocents."
He slowly put Zelda down, while adding:
"That also include spells, curses, and unfortunately, inanimate objects as well. After your spell received all the arrows I fired, the light of her own arrows finished to free her mind."
A silence took place between the two fighters, but it didn't take long before the mad laugh of Ganondorf break it. It was one of those laughs, who make your whole body trembling with horror and terror, thinking you're going to put every ounce and fibre of your being to survive against him, or in the case of myself and of my friend, it's one of those that give us the sentiment that we are going to have a long day.
"HE warned me about you, HE told me about your might, HE told me about your tricks, your regenerative abilities, and even your weakness, and yet, you still manage to surprise me!"
"And… I make you laugh."
"You can sarcasm if you want, it still laughable."
He continued to laugh like it was the most funny thing on earth, while our hero searched the answer to a question which keep tormented him, but still keeps his guard on, in case of some trick. But the curiosity overcame the fear of the answer, and our crusader finally asked:
"So? Who told you about how awesome I am? Maybe the same one who permitted you to conquer Hyrule in this time-line? "
"Oh! Our common friend? "
At the simple combination of words: "common friend", our hero could think of only one foe : an person maybe as ancient than time itself, who have in his entire lifetime, only seek the all mighty power of light, and killed, destroyed, annihilated everything that was in its way, including universes and butterflies. And to stop him many impossible warriors must have paid the highest price. Only the think of this horrible man bring back our poor hero into deep, painful memories: an happy life, disturbed; an eternity of tracking, mixed into a war without alike; a battle between two infinites armies, with great consequences; a multi-verse finally safe from danger, but all his saviors only able to cry on the dead bodies of their beloveds; and an immortality of guilt. But it could not be this man: he's dead and buried ... right?
"The only name he gave me was: "the light". But, I think we had enough talks and laughs for now. After all, we usually say: less talking, MORE KILLING!"
Ganondorf attacked once more, this time by firing a laser of pure light, way too fast for our caught off guard knight to dodge; and so he took it, surprised by the fact that this holy weapon are in the hand of this dark man. Taking no risk, our villain dashed to the weakened warrior, ready to finish the battle here and now. Our hero tried to raise his shield, but miserably failed. Only centimeters was between the two opponents, when a miracle happen: an holy golden wall blocked the attack, forming the all mighty triforce with our hero and the princess inside. Well aware of what will happen next, Gannondorf let his rage express itself; while howling somewhat like a dragon, he tried to slice with all his might the holy protection. But even if he managed to cracked it, the golden shield never failed. The two target of the raging monarch vanished under his red eyes. When our dark monarch was able to reach them, they were long gone. The only person left on the desolated world was an enraged Gerudo, screaming out his fury.
What will happen next? An encounter with the golden goddess. And also, the explanation of the story's name. Everyone here speak Hylian, not English, Spanish nor French. As for the arrows of our protagonist, like he said, they cannot hurt innocent, and that implies object as well. For short, if an object is on the way of the arrow, the arrow will not hurt it if the object wasn't used for a evil deed. But if it was used, for example, to kill someone, the arrow will be able to touch it.
If you have read any errors, please notice me.
Critics are welcome.
