If you’re about to read THE WARWORLD SAGA, be sure to pick up ‘Superman: The One Who Fell’ trade paperback first as it explains why Superman’s powers are no longer at their peak. Or get the overview of the two-part THE GOLDEN AGE story arc from that volume at OmniverseComics.Guide
For the complete reading order to ‘The Warworld Saga’, see our entries on…

I have been wanting to get into comics, primarily Captain America comics for awhile but I have no idea where to start and and from what comic book fans have said I shouldn't even bother starting now with the new stuff. So when I found out Rippaverse I started reading that. I own every book in the Rippaverse series so far. I also bought Gabe Eltaeb's TJAW and Dean Cain: American Lawman.
The Rippaverse is awesome. As always, I can't recommend it enough. Especially now when they're actually lowering the prices of their comics instead of raising them like everyone else is.
If you want to get into Captain America I'd recommend searching for the Marvel Masterworks Captain America collection. It starts from the first Captain America in the 60s and collects all of them up until the late 80s, so you miss all the modern crap and only get classic Cap. They're pretty hard to find physically, and usually the price is super marked up, anywhere from $40 for a book that originally sold for $15, to several hundred dollars for particularly hard to find volumes. But Amazon has every volume, minus the first two, available digitally for around $15 each. Still a steep investment with literally dozens and dozens of volumes, but better than trying to find inexpensive physical copies. But, if you're not morally opposed to sailing the seven seas, there are probably some websites you can go to and just read the whole thing for free.
