reborn au notes 2 self, chunin exam edition

on kushina: i want to write her as a badass, but in light of the recent minato oneshot, i've decided that while she is a badass, she was actively kept from the frontlines of the third shinobi war because oooh ahhh our precious jinchuriki!! so she's not actually like... very well known internationally. so what this means

both itachi and deidara are like "well if she was any good i would have heard of her" and then ideally both of them would have separate "oh god what the fuck what the fuck WHAT THE FUCK" moments because actually she has an OP bloodline limit, is a fuinjutsu master, and has insane chakra/stamina. and this is BEFORE you factor in the fox

iwa denies minato entrance for the chunin exam tournament despite it being traditional to host foreign kage because they're terrified of him planting a hiraishin seal. they're then iffy about letting his wife in with fuinjutsu supplies. but they too are like "well if she were worth knowing about, we'd have heard of her"

on kisame/mangetsu: i forgot i pitched the idea of kisame being there to babysit bby mangestu entering??? i think i'll keep this element. nothing i post on tumblr is "set in stone" but this change probably wouldn't affect the written pieces very much. so the tourament is

First round:

Tori vs Some Chump (opening match -- expected to be underwhelming and supposed to give people time to find their seats -- Tori finishes it in less than 30 seconds)

Itachi vs Kurotsuchi (Itachi wins)

Deidara vs Some Chump (Deidara wins)

Mangetsu vs Some Chump (Mangetsu wins)

Second round:

Tori vs Itachi (Itachi wins but in a complete reversal of her previous match, Tori draws it out)

Mangetsu vs Deidara (Deidara wins but the bloodline limit is ANNOYING)

i'm not 100% what mangetsu at 13's personality would be, but i like the cracky idea of of him having a weird little crush on tori. mostly because i think it would make both her and kisame like (INTERNAL ALARM BELLS GOING OFF) but also for plot reasons*

tori: idk what to do i've only ever had weirdos be attracted to me???

deidara: only weird-- tori he sneezed too hard and turned into a puddle. he IS a weirdo

*basically i'm toying with the idea of tori going SOBBING to mangetsu that iwa kidnapped her mentor, because kisame will report to kiri that they did this, but mangetsu's more emotional testimony will sell it to kiri. i decided with the piece i just posted that it makes more narrative sense for tori to pull herself together and make moves on a plan rather than waiting for deidara and itachi to solve it for her. so she's like: okay, im confident we can get to her, but how do we prevent a fourth war in the event iwa decides to claim WE attacked first? witness from another village. okay here i go~~

kisame has no personal stakes in doing anything about kushina or their mission so he's not going to physically help with that, but he does consider itachi his ally so he'll happily go and tell the mizukage that he was presented with strong evidence that iwa tried to hold the hokage's wife ransom after she and her team diligently obeyed all their stupid rules....?

on the hiraishin seal that the utano** clan picked up at the very beginning when tori was 4: originally i had the idea she'd use it to take down oto somehow. like she gets her hands on it and chucks it around until minato comes to check it out or something. but instead i decided it's better if she just figures that out on her own. although NOW i'm debating if she leaves the hiraishin seal out in the open in the hopes konoha comes ot check it out and take care of any degs for her. <3 the consequence of this is that she's on minato's radar before they ever meet, but i'm noooot sure i like this

either way i think i'm going to use it to very slowly foreshadow hiraishin!tori. but also maybe. out of spite, and because she spent a lot of time studying one when she was a kid.... she paints a couple hiraishin seals in iwa as payment. as a little treat <3

(this is NOT the most politically savvy move so even if minato privately thought it was funny, i think he's reprimand her. even when she's like "no i ARRANGED for kiri to back us up, they're not going to do anything because they CAN'T." but alternatively maybe she writes a note that she hid one.... can you find it? <3 <3 <3)

I have a headcanon about Godzilla minus one that makes the movie infinitely more terrifying.

So it's confirmed in the novelization that Godzilla knew Koichi wouldn't shoot him on Odo Island

So my headcanon is that, instead of taking pity on Koichi for showing fear; Godzilla intentionally began targeting and going after Koichi. Think of it as Godzilla playing with his food

Especially after operation crossroads where he was bombed, burned,mutilated and god knows what else. That process couldn't have felt good at all. Especially given the twist at the end of the movie seemingly confirming that Godzilla cannot die.

I'm not saying that Godzilla is in a state of intense suffering 24/7(we have Shin Godzilla for that). My headcanon is that Godzilla clearly doesn't like people(no shit he's a Boogeyman to the people of Odo Island and the first scene we see of him is him slaughtering a Japanese military repair station), his original plan was to save Koichi for last given Koichi's reluctance to fire on him. He sees that koichi is laying on the ground unmoving, thinks he's dead and he continues on his life. Then operation crossroads happens, The United States tests nuclear weapons on the island and Godzilla is brutally mutated and changed by the blast(we have a scene in the movie where he roars as the bomb changes his body)

After this he decides to go after Japan, since that's the closest known landmass he knows of that has people on it. While on route to Japan he encounters dozens of battleships and takes them out as part of his rampage...

then one faithful day he encounters a minesweeping ship, and wouldn't you know it that one guy who he let live is on that ship(only noticing this after he raised his head out of the water after getting hit with the first mine)

He goes after the ship since well,koichi is unfinished business, he gets rid of the last person on Odo Island he can go on to take out Japan.

Then koichi blows his brains out with a Sea mine, as expected this pisses him the fuck off

He rises out ot the water and is about to make his finishing move onto koichi when god damn it another destroyer gets in the way allowing that little rat to escape

Then he possibly follows the ship(keeping his distance while doing so) and that's how he finds out about Ginza and all that.

And we all know how the Ginza attack turned out

My headcanon is that Godzilla goes out of his way to target koichi in the movie for not only being a loose end on Odo Island but also for the amount of damage he takes in the movie. Godzilla is HUNTING koichi down, and with the end of the movie having Godzilla being almost killed by koichi again, I can only imagine how vicious Godzilla is in that

Part 2♡♡

Bill kaulitz x fem reader.

Summary: Y/n isn't feeling well she was in the hospital for an unknown illness, Bill there being by her side every day doing anything to make her feel better. She slowly starts gaining feelings for him, and he feels the same way🫣

Word count : 1.5k

Days turned into weeks, and Y/n found herself confined to a sterile hospital room, surrounded by the constant beeping of machines and the scent of antiseptic. Doctors and nurses came and went, running tests and performing procedures, but still no one could figure out what was wrong with her.

Throughout this ordeal, there was one person who never left Y/n's side, bill.Their bond had grown stronger over these past couple of days.

Bill would sit by Y/n's bedside, holding her hand and offering words of comfort. Y/n found solace in his presence, and his unwavering support gave her the strength to keep fighting he made everything better and less painful.

One evening, as Y/n lay in bed, exhausted from another round of tests, she drifted off to sleep. Bill watched her intently, his heart filled with both worry and adoration. He gently brushed a strand of hair away from her face, his touch as light as a feather.

Y/n stirred slightly, but her eyes remained closed. Bill smiled softly, marveling at her peaceful expression. In that moment, he realized just how beautiful she was, even in the midst of her pain and uncertainty. He couldn't help but feel a surge of emotions, a mix of love, longing, and a desire to protect her from any harm.

As the days turned into weeks, Y/n's condition remained a mystery. Doctors consulted with specialists from around the world, searching for answers. Bill never left her side, even canceling concerts and appearances to be there for her. He was determined to support her through this difficult journey, no matter how long it took.

She was finally released from the hospital, and she packed her belongings that Bill and the rest of the band had brought for her. As she packed, she couldn't help but recall the sweet things Bill had said to her when she had her eyes closed, thinking she was asleep.

Bill had expressed his feelings for her, and it stirred a mix of emotions within y/n. She realized that she had developed a deep connection with Bill. She admired the way he looked, so effortlessly beautiful. He was tall and somewhat muscular, always dressed uniquely in a way that set him apart from others in a good way. He was truly one of a kind.

As y/n finished packing, she couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness about what the future held for her. She knew that her and bills connection was special and that they had the potential for something amazing. "Bill..?" Y/n whispered to him. " Yes Princess what's up?" He responded. Y/n instantly got flustered at his words and how soft his voice sounded. " Thank you" Y/n said in a low whisper . Bill got close to y/n both now inches away from each other. He whispered in her ear "anything for you beautiful". His warm breathe hitting y/n's neck sending a shivers down her back. |God Hes so handsome | y/n thought ot herself. Bill walked out to grab some snacks for them. Meanwhile Y/n organized her things to pack up.

•After a while•

Bill had been patiently waiting for y/n to finish packing, approached her with a warm smile. He gently took her hand and said, "Are you ready to get back on that stage, rockstar?"

Y/n nodded, her heart racing with anticipation. "Yes, Bill. I'm so excited.Thank you for everything. Im so grateful to have you in my life."

Bill pulled her into a tight embrace, his arms enveloping her with warmth and love. "And I'm so thankful that you're finally out of the hospital and that we can start singing together again. Just me and you, "He gently spoke. "You mean the world to me, y/n."

Tears welled up in y/n's eyes as she looked up at Bill. "You mean the world to me too, Bill. I never thought I would find someone who understands me the way you do."

Bill wiped away her tears gently. "I will always be here for you, y/n. Through the good times and the bad, I promise to love and support you."

Y/n smiled, feeling a sense of peace and contentment wash over her. She knew that with Bill by her side, she could conquer anything that came their way. Y/n was carrying some bags that were somewhat heavy. "Need help ?" Bill asked. " No, I can do this. I'm a strong, independent woman." Y/n replied. Bill laughed at her comment. " yea okay sure" he said, smiling. Bill ended up helping y/n carry her bags into his car. They both got in. Y/n admired bills side profile while he was starting the car. He was so beautiful in a way that he had feminine features but also masculine. She looked at how his jawline was sharp and defined. His honey colored eyes blistened in the light. His hands looked soft and somehow gentle. They finally got to the mansion.

Y/n went in first Bill carrying her stuff inside. "SURPRISE!!" Tom, georg, and gustav all yelled. There was decorations all over the place a big sign on the wall hanging written *WELCOME BACK Y/N* "Thank you all for this " y/n said she felt so touched at the fact that they cared about her and even took the time to organise everything for her. She felt her eyes water. A tear rolled down her cheek. Nobody has ever done something like this for her. "Y/n, what's wrong ?? Why are you crying? " georg came up to her comforting her. "I'm sorry, I just never really had people do this for me it's my first time, and I feel so touched," She replied with a shaky breath. " Aw, it's okay y/n we will always be here for you no matter what. We care about you so much, " gustav said in a heart-warming tone . He came up to her, giving her a big warm hug accompanied by Tom and georg. Bill walked in, watching them have a group hug. " What about me?" he said in a funny, annoyed tone. They were now all hugging y/n. She finally really felt loved.

She had a big smile on her face. "Thank you all for this. It really means so much to me. I'll always cherish this moment forever. I love you guys." She said, her voice cracking in between sentences. "Y/n" Bill

Spoke with a soft smile. " Come upstairs in 10 minutes, okay?" He said. (Oooooh) Tom and Georg mumbled each smirking at each other while Gustav was focused on the tv.

After 10 minutes passed, y/n walked upstairs, knocking on bills' bedroom door. " Who is it ??" He asked. " It's me y/n you wanted to see me?" Y/n replied back a bit confused on why he wanted to speak to her privately. She wanted to express her feelings to him for a while now but things didn't go as planned since she was stuck in the hospital for a while, wasn't the best place ro confess is what she thought to herself. After a while of waiting Bill opened the door asking y/n to close her eyes before going in. Y/n shuts her eyes. Bill leads y/n into the room. "You can open now " he said. She opened her eyes she looked at the rose pettles on the floor decorations hung up. Their was so many gifts on the bed, then she saw it . Her jaw dropped.

There was a big poster hung up. * Will you be my girlfriend?* Her eyes instantly became watery and blurry she turned to Bill who was patiently standing behind her waiting for an answer , He was anxious. She quickly turned around tightly hugging him " Yes of course oh my God I can't believe this" She spoke. Tears rolling off her cheek. Bill hugged her back tightly. He had a big smile on his face. He gently pulled y/n chin up and before you knew it there lips connected. Y/n was shocked at first but then relaxed and closed her eyes. His lips were soft and smooth. He gently lowered his hands down, now on her lower back. He pulled her in even closer to him both bodys not touching. He still managed keeping the kiss locked in. After a while they pulled away gasping for air. Y/n was red as a tomato now. " I love you y/n ever since I laid my eyes on you, I knew you would be the one for me." He spoke out. Y/n didn't hesitate anymore and pulled him in for another kiss she'd always dreamed off this moment.Shed been craving him every time they were together. The end.🫶🏽

WAR OF THE PRINCESSES

i finished catching up to this like 2 minutes ago [EDIT: WROTE THAT THE DAY BEFORE YESTERDAYM NOW ITS 2 DAYS AGO] and i genuinely really liked this. for a manhua its amazing!! the plot is unique and keeps you guessing, the characters are entertaining and NOT cookie cutter cutouts of isekai tropes, theres been some interesting reveals and a lot of people in the comments were hating on ml but personally i found him super fun; hes very morally grey n has definite flaws but thats what makes him a good character to read about !! not to mention the main character herself is great. i hate that my bar for good manhwa/hwa characters has gone down to 'has more than 2 personality traits' but she is leaping over it for sure

i dont read yaoi i dont read bl. i have never ever read it . however the vibes were so strong that i had to go back and check the tags because.. if you read it... you will see. its so strong. it radiates. ive read 2 chapters but i just think the 'evil character reincarmates into the pinnacle of goodness' trope is the funniest thing in the world. i have no clue if its going to be a generic collect the characters take over the world type of thing but i just think its funny and its the newest one ive read.

i have been waiting for aomethinf like this for SO LONG hahah the main character is so diddly darn confused the entire time cus in her past life shes read too much rofan etc and now cant figure out what novel shes trandmigrated into. regular manhwa reader fr,, anyway theres a strong case for second hand embarrassment in this one, especially in the first few chapters or so, but i genuinely really like this just cus its so self aware, it keeps poking fun at all the tropes and its a nice lighthearted read. also theres a decent amount of plot despite it all and OH I ALMOST FORGOT the male lead is an absolute 10 personalitywise i genuinely love him. hes here for drama and thats it its amazing. so yea id say tropey but Well Written super fun 👍👍👍

HIDING THE ARCHDUKE'S HUMILIATING HISTORY

i think this is the first manhwa ive read where the ml pisses himself in fear the first time he meets fl (theyre both children)(hes scared of something else not fl but still). anyway its nothing particularly unique but its pretty fun! its one of those novel isekai where mc reincarnates into a little kid and the structure makes it a sandwich which has been keeping me very invested. this isnt a very good advertisment but its a good way to pass the time i think. heres a nice reaction pic

oh my god??? just binged this whole thign in one go. first of all ots complete, second of all i guess you can say tjis is a character study in manhwa form. there isnt a particular overarching antagomist, its the characters learning to grow and face their own personal issues. but its also a slice of life, and lighthearted family drama, and comedy. its not a rofan this time lol. also the sibling relationships in susu, han are so good !! and theres so many lovely platonic relationships too. i really really enjoyed it.
