Really? Taylor and Henry over Fournette? Fournette was unstoppable last season, and him adding weight made him a brick wall.

My answer will change depending on the week you ask and who did better that week lol. Honestly neither Henry or Fournette have really done anything in this week.

Yahoo (Stranger Things Have Happened) Cash League Week 15 Rd 1 Playoff Recap 💰🤑💸

A tight race to the end with massive jumps and falls eventually led to PapaKess and Omar to bye weeks. Yahoo was the only league with two top seeds having double digit wins.

With those two having byes, Delmar & Jermaine had to battle. The other game was yet again, the best friends/commish vs commish battle between Johnny and Taurean.

Taurean 💸 Johnny

"Commish VS Commish Battle of Best Friends"

Mahomes did his thang for Johnny. He scored the most points on either roster in the matchup scoring 58 points. He would need that as Taureans RBs scored nearly 3x times as much as his. Once again, Zonovan did not do Johnny any favors.

Although smaller than usual, Godwin/Ekler/DPJ got Johnny adequate points. Montgomery had to score what he did with Khalil Herbert out.

Taureans play of Dalton netted less than half of what mahomes did. The trio of Hill, CMC. And Barkley carried Taureans team. The thing is, they were the only true workhorses as the other starters didn't amount to much. The Driskell play didnt pan out out and Dallas Def underwhelmed. The combo of shortcomings doomed Taureans chances against Johnny.

The bench didn't fare any better for T even if he had played Carr. Johnny made the correct calls on who to play and who not to play.

All in all, Taurean deserves credit for making the playoffs. Johnny advances with a struggling team roster.

Key note: These two competitors also faced each other in another Core 4️⃣ league. They each won one game against each other (Yahoo & Sleeper).

Jermaine 💰 Delmar

"Battle of Coleagues"

Where to begin? Delmar is the definition of Stranger Things Have Happened. Delmar was not a favorite to bet on so to speak (no offense). Yet, Delmar kept winning. This was a big turn around for him to earn a 3rd seed and even make the playoffs. Hats off on the improvement in this league (and another Sleeper).

Jermaine on the other hand, just barely avoided the commish curse 💀. Steadily climbing back in towards the playoffs after being in last place. Last place! Even toward the end of the regular season he was a Longshot play. The fierce competition led to some crazy rank scenarios each week which favored the Commissioner. At one point, he jumped 5 spaces in rank! Tie breaks were not looking good in his favor even tho he had more points than everyone else... except Ricky. Slick to his credit almost played upset in NFL and this league. It came down to wins rather than tie break (had Slick won, he had way more points than Jermaine). So many avenues to get in the playoffs makes things tense but exciting as well.

Stevenson, Kittle, & Waddle did thier thing for Jermaine and Fournette did his usual. Although Hubbard and Theilin surprised on his bench, Delmar took the win by playing all the right people. Other than Broncos Defense and an outta nowhere 61 point performance from Trevor, Delmar had it in the bag. His starters line for line outplayed Jermaines roster.

Is Delmar the Cinderella story of the year *no jinx* For Jermaine, an applause for being in the postseason from the regular season he had. Finishing. 500 didn't seem in the cards nor the playoffs but he did it.

While battle of the bros (Taurean & Jermaine) face off in a commish vs commish for 5th place, the final 4 competitors have their games set.

Coming off thier bye week with multiple game leads, Omar will face Delmar in the unexpected bout of the 2nd round. Johnny will find his grit against runaway unknown PapaKess.

A bias root for L.O.L members Delmar & Johnny and good look luck to all in the dash for da cash superbowl next week!

Buffalo Bills Keep Going As Is

Back-to-back-to-back-to-back wins tops even Tom Emanski. Fred McGriff thinks this is the team that gets results. A Buffalo Bills home playoff game seems both like a fitting result and improbable occurrence. The club embodied humanity while winning a fourth consecutive divisional title by not changing who they are for the regular finale. Accept underachieving during victory as the best possible result.

This is Sean McDermott’s team, all right. Winning while infuriating is a signature like Marv turning on faucets. Workers who sort-of get the job done are not going to alter their approach to finishing their assigned tasks now. It’d still be nice if they’d show up from the start of their shift in lieu of doing twice the work in half the time.

Figuring out where the end zone is and how clocks work would be productive uses of playoff preparation time. The first half’s end and second half’s start combined to be as productive as the time in between. Buffalo also scored zero points in the locker room. A coach’s dream felt like a real one where they slept while having no control over events.

I hope they’re spending this week seeing how Leonard Fournette’s catching skills are, too. Ronnie Harmon thinks James Cook’s drop was bad. I wish George Lucas weren’t correct about history rhyming. There was a James Cook glass, but he dropped it.

A punt returned for a touchdown just like McDermott planned proved to be the difference. Points count no matter how you get them and affect what happens next, which should assuage guilt about lack of productivity. That was some nice work by Deonte Harty, even though players need to stop celebrating before getting to the end zone. Not dropping the ball is like avoiding an accident despite driving while texting: you won’t get away with it forever.

Convoluted cheering offered a distraction until prime time. Trevor Lawrence finally inspires. Let’s all give to his foundation. A fourth down throw which still hasn’t landed reduced the magnitude of the league’s regular-season coda. But settling for seventh would’ve reflected a lack of ambition. The divisional winners spent much of the outing shaking a wild card mentality.

Making the tournament was not an excuse to look nonchalant. The Jaguars melting down into the new year removed a good deal of potential stress. But that was no time to coast. Will those presented with an opportunity react by seeking more or dodging it? A chance to win the division again was thrilling precisely because it’s simple. We still had to learn who gets to patronize the New Era Flagship Store. The home team’s fans had to travel back from Miami.

Finding a new way every game to keep results close is not the best approach to maintaining an interesting life. But the Bills weren’t about to change their routine of not having one. Unpredictability is predictable. Everyone has an exhausting relative who’ll tantrum over trivial matters; some of us have more than one. The particulars of any nasty outburst may differ, but the one consistency is that they’re lamentably bound to happen. Self-improvement means not being the same any longer, which may be a good outcome and is certainly a near impossibility.
