Today is #FlagDay! On this day in 1777, the Second Continental Congress adopted the Stars and Stripes as the flag of the United States. In 1949, President Truman signed an Act of Congress designating June 14 as Flag Day.

🇺🇸 As free Americans, we should all pause on this Flag Day to acknowledge the significance of our flag.
Tens of thousands of Americans have fought for the very things that flag represents. Many of them made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve the American way of life. 🤔

Happy Flag Day & a shout out to the BASED kiddos in Massachusetts who were instructed to wear pride month colors & use "pronouns" but they rebelled with red white & blue colors and "usa" as their preferred pronoun!

In 1885, Bernard J. Cigrand was teaching in a one-room schoolhouse in Waubeka, Wisconsin. He’d devised a simple class exercise for his students: They were to write essays about the flag in commemoration of the flag’s birthday on June 14.
