       Panchito watches the other with a curious look, slight concern shining within caramel hues. He seemed to be struggling with the weight of those papers, maybe if he helped ... though he pauses, whenever a bit of Spanish is flung right back at him. Beak curls into a soft smile, giving a small nod of his head, even though the other probably couldn't see him. "Sí, estoy bien, mi amigo." He's just about to bend over in an attempt to pick up the few fallen papers when the kind voice begins to speak again. 

"Oh ? " He found it odd that Gyro didn't mention his relatives to one of his workers. "Has he not mentioned me at all ? I believe I need to have a little talk with him about this." Gyro knew he would be popping in where he worked, he should have at least warned someone. "You are not being rude, I am just wondering WHY mi primo has neglected to mention me." Heaving a disappointed sigh, the auburn colored rooster begins to help the duck with the fallen papers, despite the warning. 

He doesn't look at the papers, merely picks them up in a nice & neat pile for him. "Aquí tienes, amigo." A warm smile is offered, cheeks feeling a tad bit warm the minute he catches sight of who he's talking to actually looks like. ( He's actually really cute ). "Do you require some help ? " Instead of waiting patiently for a response, like he SHOULD, Panchito is quick & careful to snag a few of the papers that might have been covering the other's eyes. Carefully placing them upon a near desk, the rooster smiles once more, holding out a hand.  

"Now that we can PROPERLY see each other, my name is Panchito Romero Miguel Junipero Francisco Quintero González III, but you, mi amigo, can just call me Panchito. I am Gyro's younger cousin. & Uh, If I am not being too bold, to whom does this cara linda belong to ? " Stop that.

How I feel about this character: *deep breath* I could literally ramble on and on about Fenton and everything that I love about him and HAVE rambled on in headcanon posts and- *claps hands* So Imma just list a few bullet points: HIS PERSONALITY, HIS DESIGN, HIS VOICE ACTOR, HIS EVERYTHING IS UTTER PERFECTION. Pfffff... I’ve legit never adored or resonated with a character as much as I do Fenton. Just seeing a picture of the smol duck helps lift my mood, hearing Lin’s voice makes me think of him— and the roles he plays go RIDUCLOULSY WELL with Fenton too? Like- What are the odds?! —he is by far the EASIEST muse I’ve ever written for... Literally, he’s the One who is always constant. *continues to ramble on about my fluffy son*

Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: *cracks knuckles* Fendrake, Crackbeaks, Fenro, Fenpad, Fendra, Fenchito- to just name A FEW. Look, Fenton is one of— if not THE —most shippable characters ever and the fact that there are so many ships that include him gives me life. X3 

My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: His and Launchpad’s friendship is amazing and I support these bois who are trying their best.

My unpopular opinion about this character: I’ve noticed that I play him a smidge Softer/More-Forgiving than the fandom hath agreed he is... But honestly, I regret nothing and fully support my Analysis of the Fluffy Duck. Plus, the fandom seems to have agreed that he isn’t a stranger to crying, whereas my Fenton only cries in extreme situations ‘cause on this blog we self-project, friendos *finger guns* :’3 

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: More interaction with Drake/Darkwing :3 PLS

Favorite friendship for this character: Huey and Fenton

My crossover ship: I don’t really have any concrete ones— aside from what Josie and I have wrought onto the world with Omar —but Fenton is such a Good, that I could see him getting along with a slew of other characters tbh. X3

2 Three Gay Caballeros

When I started shipping them: I think I started shipping them around the time I started watching Legend of the Three Caballeros, or when I watched the 1944 movie again after a long time not having done so.

My thoughts: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEIR DYNAMIC. And like, the fact that while there could be ship wars in the fandom we are instead envisioning them together and happy :)

What makes me happy about them: the way that being around Panch and José makes Donald a completely different person, how relaxed he becomes. It’s a completely different dynamic than with, say, Mickey and Goofy or Scrooge and Daisy. He’s so relaxed and joyful and if the DT17 team screws that up I WILL HUNT AND KILL

What makes me sad about them: that they live so far away from each other :( (as someone who lives about an hour from friends it gets me)

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: when people try to make it seem like Donald needs to choose Panch OR Zé, or when miscommunications are something that happens and they spend too far long apart before realising (such an old trope).

Things I look for in fanfic: good dialogue, nice writing, Donald being happy with his two bfs

My wishlist: for the DT17 episode to be like the aftermath of the band AU i want

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: I’m comfortable with Donald/Daisy, Donmick or Dorkules or Fentonald. I’m also happy for Fenchito. I have no idea about José ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (bachelor lyfe)

My happily ever after for them: to either be within walking distance of each other or at the very least living under the same roof and just having morning snuggles and lots of adventures :)

I’ve never really elaborated on the dynamics of this ship so I wanted to share.

I see Fenton as a very insecure soul what with his mom pushing him to quit his internship and pursue more lucrative jobs and Gyro shooting down all of his projects. He’s poor at expressing the emotional tolls so he bottles them. But then through chance (that I might write out another time) he meets Panchito who embodies the kind of person he wants to be. Genuine and explosive. Someone who speaks his mind and doesn’t back down when other people try to bring him down.

They quickly become friends and Panchito spends a lot of their time hanging out teaching Fenton to have more faith in himself and how to say how he really feels. Panchito is so motivated to help him because he sees a little of himself in Fenton, before he met Jose and Donald. He genuinely admires how smart and ambitious Fenton is and he falls for how selfless and noble he is. Fenton develops feelings when he realizes that over time, his focus has shifted from being better just for himself to being better for himself and Panchito.
