Fun Fact: Erend is the NPC with the most extra scenes in HFW

Not only does he have the standard main/side mission cutscenes and dialogue, but he also has unique interactions with Aloy and he is the only character where most of his dialogue in the Base adapts to her choice in the flashpoint at the beginning of the game.

Her eyes are on you, the color a terrible, frothing sea, like the last thing a man sees before drowning. "Erend," she says, throat raspy from the quiet she has faithfully kept for the last half hour. "I told you to wait." You don't think she notices it, as she approaches, the way the Vanguard falls back. But you do. You feel the way they tense behind you, weapons raised, as if she is a threat. They're not thinking that, you know, but their battle-worn bodies are telling them, bold as a bronze bell, this is a predator.

Erend: Yeah, hard to say. From where I'm standing, looks like pretty even match.
