Hello! What's your thoughts on possible Morvran and Ciri's family, the amount of children, their favourite way to spend time together, their significant holidays etc. Do you have any hcs?

Hi!

I usually refer to the HC of the fic writers on AO3 and tumblr, and all of them are awesome. But I'll see what HC I can come up with on the spot! This is more a draft than a family portrait.

Interesting family dynamic Morvran and Ciri will have. Fierce and headstrong wife married to an officer and a gentleman. All prim and proper in the presence of the nobility and the peasantry, but all of that goes out the window when it comes to the bedroom :)

Favorite pastime besides devastating the bedroom on a nightly basis? Horseback riding turned racing, maybe some sparring... and fishing! Morvran with a reel and rod, and Ciri using the witcher's effective method of fish catching- with bombs!

Children? I think they'd be satisfied to have just one to continue the royal line. One child is enough to keep her dads, and Yennefer, happy.

Holidays? Ciri hates pomp and finds them a waste of time and resources, but it is SOP that the heads of the empire must attend celebrations. So while Ciri grumbles under her breath at the tight dresses and that dreaded task called "mingling", Morvran is by her side to keep her calm and entertained, and to deal with the merchants and nobles. As for any significant holidays... she'd probably include holiday that commemorates Calanthe and Pavetta as a yearly dig at Emhyr.

And the penultimate question: Would Morvran cheat on Ciri?

Would he, knowing that the woman he married is a skilled swordsman with the ability to blink in and out of space and time, and has two doting dads who'd fillet him like a fish if he ever hurt her in any way?

No, I don't think so.

the way da.emon and rha.enyra are portrayed is exactly the reason why i speak out quite loudly against pavetta x emhyr and try to advocate so loudly for victims of grooming. because their stories are either ignored, belittled or straight up romanticized. i think the only piece of media that takes grooming somewhat seriously rn is shadow & bone and people still go on to ship dar.klina

IT. HAPPENS. EVERY. DAY. girls and boys are groomed every single day. i personally know a victim of grooming, who was 16 when she got groomed by a man who at the time was 28 years old. she is 25 now and deals with the consequences of it to this day. and no, when she was 16-17, she did not see anything wrong with the relationship.

you know why? because media showed her that having a much older, dark, broody boyfriend was cool.

She never once saw my human form that whole time, and at the end of the summer, when the air began to chill, we made love for the first time. “She confessed to me who she was, and I knew it then.” Emhyr looked at Geralt his eyes determined. “I knew she was my child of Destiny. We plotted over the winter, and she brought me into the palace and kept me hidden. You were called there to eradicate a moaning ghost that had been terrifying the castle. Unfortunately that was us.”

Princess Emiliana Adalia Elen Riannon of Cintra, eldest daughter of Princess Pavetta and Duny or now known as Emepror Emhyr Var Emesis has struggled with control for as long she can remember.

She didn’t know what she was capable of and didn’t wish to find out. After the death of her parents, Emiliana was raised by her grandparents who keep a close eye on her and trained by Mousesack.

She grew up along with her twin sister Cirilla and younger brother, Aelius, the trio of siblings were often never without the other one and always did everything together.

13 years later, Emiliana has blossomed into a beautiful young woman and starts to transition in a young woman. Many Nothern Lords seeks out her hand in marriage, but Queen Calanthe has no intention on letting either of her cubs out of her sight.

That would all change when Emiliana comes across a certain Vicovora solider who is on a secret mission for the White Flame; keep a close eye on the Prinesses and Prince and take note of Cintra defenses

When Cahir meets the Princess he has no idea who she is at first and grows close to her. Over the next few months the two begin to grow close to one another unknown of each other true identities.

When Niffagaerd invades Cintra, the two found find themselves seeing hard truths for the first time ad find themselves on opposite sides.

Now, as Emiliana is on the run with with her twin Cirilla and her younger brother she tries her best to remain unnoticed and hide from Cahir. While, Cahir searches for his princess day and night never giving up the hope.

Would he find the Princess and deliver her to the White Flame or would he find his mission impossible. How would the Black Knight complete his mission when his heart was beginning to cloud over his head.

Soon, he would find his love for the Princess too greatly to ignore and find himself doubting his loyalty to Emhyr.

If there was anything mores scary then betraying the White Flame it was falling in love with his eldest daughter for the Great Sun was ruthless when it came to his children, especially his eldest daughter and kill anyone he thought that was a threat or uncconvinces to them.
