Almost every search engine follows a citation model. That increases your domain authority for search engines. Having an older domain means more websites are connecting with your domain. The domain age is directly proportional to your website's ranking in search engine results pages (SERPs). You can use associated email addresses, direct the domain name to your desired server, and even sell or transfer the ownership if you want to do that. With a domain name, you have complete control over it. The second point is, your domain name gives you more control over your website. The most important step you must take to create a successful business is to raise awareness of it. Your chances of gaining customers rise the more people you reach.
To reach a larger audience, you can use social media platforms, concentrate on SEO and SMM, or spend money on PPC. You might need to engage a specialist who can carry out all of these tasks in order to complete them.
2. Offer more services
Do you know what will offer you the competitive advantage you seek? The extra value services you’ll provide your clients will draw in more customers. You may concentrate on providing services like SSL certificates, easy scaling, and 24 hour customer service.
Additionally, you can offer web hosting packages based on customer demands, such as those of individuals, businesses, small and large organisations, etc.
To start, you can provide special deals or discounts based on the demands of your potential consumers. Even if you might not be able to earn significant profit margins, you can attract more clients by giving them captivating services at a lower cost than your rivals.
3. Look and feel of your website
Your company is defined by its website. As a result, one of the most crucial aspects of your website is how it looks and feels. By picking the best WHMCS theme, you can make your web hosting website attractive and navigable.
Now, if you’re wondering how to pick the best theme, we’re going to provide you with a few pointers that will be helpful.
So let’s get started without wasting any more time.
4. Design and Layout
Your website’s layout and design will have the biggest impact on how visitors react. Your visitors will become your consumers as a result of that impression. As a result, you must be extremely attentive while selecting the theme for your website.
Only with a professional web hosting design will your clients regard you as a reputable business. Otherwise, your business will fail due to broken graphics and messy designs. The layout is the next item; strive to make it both appealing and simple to use.
As a result, the theme page’s design and layout should be simple and well-organized.
5. Ease of navigation
Make sure your website is simple to use and that clients and site visitors can get the information quickly and simply.
A complicated structure will ultimately lead to irritation by causing needless confusion. Frustrated customers are never good for business. Only when your clients are satisfied will your business grow. Therefore, the theme needs to be user-friendly.
Recognize a fact: a proper website style and easy navigation will reduce the bounce rate.
6. Integration with WHMCS
Web hosting service providers may manage and automate their operations with the help of WHMCS, an all-in-one application. The billing administration system can be easily automated using WHMCS, and you can also create automatic invoices and send payment reminders.
Therefore, it is essential to make sure that WHMCS is connected with your theme. Selecting a WHMCS-compatible theme will enable you to automate as much of the aforementioned work as possible, freeing up more of your valuable time to invest in growing your web hosting company.
7. Choose Right Colours
Think of the rainbow in black and white. Will the beauty remain? Yes, but not as much as you may think, as each colour evokes a different mood and feeling. On the other hand, some colors simply sting your eyes. Some colors are calming to the eyes.
This is yet another factor that you must take into account. Your customers should be able to find what they’re looking for thanks to the web hosting template color scheme.
8. Compatibility with Browsers
Nobody wants to continually alter the website’s appearance and feel. It is crucial to be compatible with multiple browsers. Don’t forget to check your theme’s compatibility with the various browsers, including Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Google Chrome, and so on.
Ensure that the website theme is perfect and consistent across all browsers.
9. Highly Responsive
All of your work will be for naught if your theme is incompatible with the device used by your intended audience. Some surveys suggest that consumers now primarily use their phones or tablets to browse the internet. You must, therefore, remember that your theme needs to work with these devices.
10. Regular Updates
Regular upgrades are necessary to maintain the functionality of your theme. You will get a lot more features with an updated theme, including improved security, fewer bugs, the addition of new functionality, and so forth. Don’t you think that regular updates will be to your advantage as a result?
11. Pricing & Support
When selecting an appropriate web hosting theme, the cost may not be the decisive factor. But you must take it into account. The ideal approach is to contrast the themes that made the short list and determine which is most appropriate for your company.
The importance of support should also be taken into account while selecting a theme. Choose a theme provider who offers the themes through a variety of channels and offers devoted, 24/7 assistance.
Your theme should be pertinent to your line of work, and you can only do that after taking into account all of the aforementioned factors. To choose the best WHMCS theme, take into account some of the points mentioned above.

I had an ok week mostly cleaning code.
The bug from last week where subscriptions that had incomplete file queues were unable to start is fixed. I apologise, this was a typo that was not caught by my code checker or my testing routine.
autocomplete cleanup
The tag autocomplete code has seen many updates and expansions over time, and the code had become a mess of hardcoded hooks and logical duct-tape. This week I went into it and pulled all the text parsing and results caching code out to single separate dedicated objects. Essentially most of the big changes this week are all behind the scenes, and you can check the changelog for more detailed info, but multiple small bugs and odd situations with autocomplete entry are now fixed.
A user recently contributed code that parses system predicates from text input. Now I have this nice new parsing system, I hope to integrate this new feature soon.
If you encounter new bugs or certain complicated wildcard lookups that do not work, please report them--it is now much easier for me to fix this stuff and support new search types.
environment changes
If you patch my source code, please note that the source structure has changed. The single flat directory of py files is now split into some basic subdirectories. This is one more step forward in getting the structure more manageable, and I expect to do more in future cleanup weeks.
full list
autocomplete cleanup:
the text you type into tag autocomplete is now parsed in a unified object. all the variants of empty text, invalid text, valid text, namespace text, and wildcard text are all tested and fetched in one simple location with better code
autocomplete results caching is now a unified object that tracks and filters results in one location. wildcard searches are now never cached by accident, and switching from tag cache to system predicate cache and to non-initialised cache is instant and more reliable
when an autocomplete, either in a search page or a context that manages tags, has results include multiple sibling variants of the typed text, they are now all elevated to the top of the list. the ideal is at the top, the entered text is next, and any known siblings follow
the search character 'collapse' that ensures quote marks and hyphens and other odd characters are unified across tags now applies uniformly to all non-complicated-wildcard search tags, with namespace not collapsed and subtag always collapsed
when entering an explicit wildcard search, both strict and autocomplete versions (whether they end with an asterisk) are now displayed
the way tag results are filtered is now more accurate for some unusual wildcards
it is now more difficult to slip cpu-killer search tags (weird asterisk combinations) through
the quick-broadcast that happens when the user hits enter before any results have started loading now uses the unified object and chooses a safer and more reliable broadcast value. the test whether to do the quick-broadcast is also more reliable, particularly in unusual situations where a recent search was cancelled or delayed. note that for many users, the cache and search tech is fast enough that this very rarely triggers
searching with a wildcard below the autocomplete threshold can no longer trigger a full search, nor an invalid exact-text search
namespace count merging is now unified across db tag fetches and media fetches
include current/pending buttons now filter down to media-based tag autocomplete counts
namespace tag autocomplete queries will no longer show up some unusual siblings below the 'anything' tag
deleted a whole bunch of old a/c and caching code
added comprehensive unit tests for the new parsed autocomplete text object
added comprehensive unit tests for the new predicate results cache object
.
the rest:
fixed a stupid typo bug in the new domain checking code that was stopping subscriptions with incomplete file queues from starting. I apologise for this
network error responses 502 (Bad Gateway) and 503 (Service Unavailable) are now treated as a retryable. the 503 is assuming it is not a CF challenge page. if they fail all retries, they are considered a network infrastructure error
all other misc 5xx http responses are now treated as instant network infrastructure errors and will be logged in the new domain health tracker
the exit splash screen now opens a bit earlier, so you now shouldn't have any momentary uncertainty where no windows are open
clients that start minimised to system tray _should_ be better about restoring splitter positions on first show
the various 'management panels', the panels on the left of main gui pages, now have smaller minimum width where available. the gallery and watcher panels are still the widest, which is a limitation of the current list tech. when it gets better column sizing code and selection memory, this will improve
fixed an issue loading gifs with some OpenCV versions
brushed up some running from source help
deleted the Py2To3 script that attempts to detect a legacy python 2 install
improved all the gui files' import order
cleaned up and refactored some subscription code
added a bunch of type hints to edit panel code
misc code cleanup
.
environment updates:
did second step of hydrus project structure improvement--now the project is split into subdirectories for core/client/server/misc and some client subdirs. work here will continue
linux build gets some new libraries, cv is up to 4.2.0
it isn't important, but hydrus is now built in python rather than directly from command line. my build scripts now include cloudscraper and the new hydrus source code tree in the build as they are, rather than hardcoded copying
next week
I would like to catch up on small jobs and bug fixes. I feel pretty exhausted due to IRL stuff, so I want to take my foot off the throttle a little. I hope you are hanging in there and staying healthy.

How to Prevent SEO Penalty Due to Duplicate Content!
Well, today, the topic of our discussion is how to prevent search engine optimization penalty due to duplicate content! the duplicate content can be very dangerous for your website and we would like you to understand the basic details about the duplicate content and how you can use different tools to prevent yourself from getting a penalty from the search engine!  So let us talk about duplicate content first in the detailed section below!
Duplicate content and the penalty on it by the search engine!
First of all, for those of you who are unfamiliar with the concept of plagiarism and duplicate content, you must know that word by word copy-pasting of content from another website or published source is better defined as the duplication of that content. now duplication or plagiarism is not illegal in many states of the world, but it is unethical in all of them and has the same consequences and penalties all around the world. Now you must have a look at the background details of duplication!
Actually, duplicate content increased on the web a few years ago when the search engines planned on increasing their database for more traffic and business especially specifically talking about Google. When this happened, people started making new websites and posting all kinds of content by juts copy-pasting it from the published sources. This issue was not addressed until a couple of years ago when it was found that almost half of the content that is available on the web is duplicated version of the content that was already published on websites and books!
Now you must have understood the concept and the burst of duplication, recently the search engines just to get rid of the duplicate content have changed their rules and regulations of ranking and now you cannot just post content by just copying it! If your website has duplicate content, now the search engine will penalize it. Today your website can easily get deranked if duplicate content is found in it, it can black-listed, and you won't be able to run the same domain again and thirdly you will face errors on your page or broken links which will surely affect the traffic on your site.
The biggest penalty that you would face is that the search engine will stop trusting your website for unique and reliable content. now when this happens no matter how unique content you post your content will not be ranked! Now it is yet another fact that not always you duplicate content intentionally and sometimes it can be unintentional and accidental accusation and so we recommend you to start using different online tools that will help you in getting rid of this problem!

Your data is more exposed than you think
Tumblr media
Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) — is the information gathering from the publicly available sources and its analysis to produce an actionable intelligence. The scope of OSINT is not limited to cybersecurity only but corporate, business and military intelligence or other fields where information matters.
Whether you are a recruiter, marketing manager, cybersecurity engineer or just a curious one, reading the article, you will find something useful for yourself. Maybe you want to know what data of yours is out there for others to find or just want to see if the person or the organization that contacted you online is legit. In this article, I will explain how to discover a person’s digital footprint, perform digital investigations and gather information for competitive intelligence or penetration testing.
Many OSINT tools are available nowadays so I’m not going to cover them all, only the most popular ones and those useful in the described use cases. In this guide, I showed a general approach, different tools and methods that you can use depending on the requirements and the initial data you have.
Basic OSINT steps
Start with what you know (email, username, etc.)
Define requirements (what you want to get)
Gather the data
Analyze collected data
Pivot as-needed using new gathered data
Validate assumptions
Generate report
Real name
IntelTechniques.com OSINT Workflow Chart: Real Name
Governmental resources
There are dozens of websites where you can find information about people or organizations and depending on the country information openness can be different. I’m not going to write about it in details as the governmental resources I could have provided might have not been relevant for you, as a resident of a different country. Just remember that such resources exist and Google them in need, they are not that hard to find, especially using the advanced search queries I described below.
Google Dorks
In 2002, Johnny Long began collecting Google search queries that uncovered vulnerable systems or sensitive information disclosures. He labeled them Google Dorks. Since the article is about legally obtained information I’m not going to show how to get an unauthorized access, however, you can explore Google Hacking Database with a thousand of different queries. The queries below can return information that is difficult to locate through simple a search.
“john doe” site:instagram.com — quotation marks force Google Search to do absolutely exact match while the search is performed on Instagram.
“john doe” -“site:instagram.com/johndoe” site:instagram.com — hide postings from the target’s own account, but show posted comments on the Instagram posts of others.
“john” “doe” -site:instagram.com — show results that exactly match given name and surname but in different combinations and exclude Instagram from results.
“CV” OR “Curriculum Vitae” filetype:PDF “john” “doe” — search for target’s resumes that contain “CV” or “Curriculum Vitae” in the name and have a PDF extension.
Wrap single words in quotes if you are 100% sure about spelling as by default Google will try to shape your keyword to what the masses want. By the way, what’s interesting about Instagram is with the right Google Dork you can see comments and likes of private accounts.
Perform a search using advanced search queries on Bing, Yandex and DuckDuckGo as other search engines might give you results that Google couldn’t.
People search
There are websites that specialize in people search which can be done providing a real name, username, email or phone number.
People search websites allow to opt out but after people remove themselves from listings new search services appear with their records in them. The reason for that is the same dataset is bought and used by different services. Some companies own those datasets and even if on one of their websites person removes the listing, on the new domain the old data is repopulated again so previously removed profile reappears in the search. Consequently, if people did a pretty good at cleaning their stuff up you have to just to wait for a new database to appear. One of the methods to find people that opted out is to go the people search service, find a unique paragraph, do quoted Google search on it and find all of the domains that the company owns. There are chances that information your target removed from site A is now on site B.
User name
IntelTechniques.com OSINT Workflow Chart: User Name
Firstly, we have to find a username. Usually, it is a name plus surname combination or derived from the email, domain name of the website the person uses or owns. Start with data you have and do a reverse lookup towards what you need. Obviously, the simplest way is to Google any relevant data known to you at the moment and try to find any pages with the username. Also, you can use special websites that do a reverse username search, like socialcatfish.com, usersearch.org or peekyou.com.
Google Dorks
The same Google Dorks that I showed for the real name search will be useful when searching for a username. In addition, URL search might give you good results as usually URLs contain usernames.
inurl:johndoe site:instagram.com—search for URLs on Instagram that contain “johndoe” in them.
allinurl:john doe ny site:instagram.com — find pages with “john“, “doe” and “ny” words in the Instagram URL. Similar to inurl but supports multiple words.
Depending on the complexity of your search and how successful it was using previous methods you might want to generate a wordlist. It’s useful when you need to try a lot of options as you don’t have a clear picture of what username should be but have a lot of guesses. I have used the Python script for generating the wordlist below:
Name and surname were specified in Names.txt, in Terminal we just see the output
Username search
There are a lot of websites with a username search, I find these to be one of the best: instantusername.com and namechk.com. Usually, one service finds accounts that other one doesn’t so it’s better to use both websites. Apart from online services you can use WhatsMyName — a Github project, included in more advanced tools: Spiderfoot and Recon-ng. However, you can use it as a standalone checker running a Python script.
Searching for “johndoe” username on 152 sites with WhatsMyName
Searching you might get false positives as someone else can use the same username, be prepared for that.
Note: Running WhatsMyName, as well as any locally installed tool, could be an issue when you have certain websites blocked by the ISP. In that case, going through proxy or VPN will solve the issue. Moreover, to avoid exposure you should use anonymizers anyway.
Email Address
IntelTechniques.com OSINT Workflow Chart: Email Address
Google Dorks
“@example.com” site:example.com — search for all emails on a given domain.
HR “email” site:example.com filetype:csv | filetype:xls | filetype:xlsx — find HR contact lists on a given domain.
site:example.com intext:@gmail.com filetype:xls — extract email IDs from Google on a given domain.
Email tools
Hunter — performs fast scan of the domain name for email addresses and reveals its common pattern.
Email permutator — generates permutations of up to three domains at which target is likely to have an email address. Supports multiple variables input to generate custom results.
Proofy — allows bulk email validation which is useful when you generated a list of emails using permutation tool and want to check all of them at once.
Verifalia — validates single email addresses for free without registration. To use bulk validation you have to sign up.
Browser plugins
Prophet — reveals more information about people. It uses an advanced engine to predict the most likely email combination for a given person based on name, company and other social data. Then, Prophet verifies the generated email to make sure it is correct and deliverable.
OSINT browser extension — contains a lot of useful links, including ones for email search and verification. Compatible with Firefox and Chrome.
LinkedIn Sales Navigator — plugin for Chrome that shows associated Twitter account and rich LinkedIn profile data directly in Gmail.
Compromised databases
Data breaches have become a big issue and recently we are seeing more and more data dumps. Security researcher, Troy Hunt, collected released data, stripped off passwords, assigned emails to the breach they were involved in and uploaded it to haveibeenpwned.com. While the fact of the breach itself might not be as important, what’s important is knowing the email of the person you are researching you might get a list of services that person uses or at least used.
Another option would be to use dehashed.com. With a free account it works similarly to Troy Hunt’s website but with the active subscription it shows passwords in clear text or password hashes. From an OSINT perspective, we need that to search whether it was used on some other websites — one more way to find out which services that the person uses or at least used. Doing the search by password or its hash shows not only on which website it was used, but also email address tied to it. Thus, we can get target’s emails we wouldn’t obtain otherwise. It’s important to note that if the password is not unique we might get false positives as other people might use it as well.
Phone number
IntelTechniques.com OSINT Workflow Chart: Telephone #
Sometimes people link phone number and email to their Facebook profile, so typing it in the Facebook search might show you the profile. Another option is to look up user-supplied databases of phone numbers, like whocalledme.com. The database is not limited only to America, numbers from Europe can be checked as well. Besides, for those who want something like this, but on the mobile device there are several apps: privacystar.com, getcontact.com, and everycaller.com. There are many reverse phone lookup services and they are usually country-specific so find the one that fits your need.
PhoneInfoga
PhoneInfoga is one of the most advanced tools to scan phone numbers using only free resources. The goal is to first gather basic information such as country, area, carrier and line type on any international phone numbers with very good accuracy. Then try to determine the VoIP provider or search for footprints on search engines to try to identify the owner.
Features:
Check if phone number exists and is possible
Gather standard information such as country, line type and carrier
Check several numbers at once
OSINT reconnaissance using external APIs, Google Hacking, phone books & search engines
Use custom formatting for more effective OSINT reconnaissance
Well, you can see how many resources were scanned. Definitely faster than manual search.
Android Emulator
Many Android apps will work on an emulator without problems but some might not work as expected. For example, Viber has issues with activating with VoIP phone number, as tested on freephonenum.com. However, there are many advantages running apps on the emulator: your real accounts or phone number will be safe as you don’t have to install questionable apps on your phone and you can easily spoof GPS coordinates.
Save the number in your phone and look at Viber or WhatsApp contact list. These services allow adding a photo, biography, name of the owner and this information can be extracted just by knowing the telephone number.
Bluestacks — made primarily for gamers but runs other apps as well. Available for Windows, Mac and Linux and doesn’t require a Virtual Machine to set it up so it installs easier than Genymotion.
Genymotion — widely used by developers but also has a free version for personal use. Works on Windows, Mac and Linux and has a range of virtual devices to choose from. Use this guide from IntelTechniques to set up the emulator.
AMIDuOS — available only for Windows and leverages device drivers from the system to enable near-native performance in Android. It’s fast and has a straightforward installation. However, while the aforementioned emulators can be installed for free, AMIDuOS comes at a price of $10.
Domain name
IntelTechniques.com OSINT Workflow Chart: Domain Name
If the person or an organization owns a website you have to know how to grab information about it. Its investigation might reveal the operating system being used, software version, personal contact info and more. I have to mention that it is advised to investigate without ever ‘touching’ the target’s environment, such technique is called passive reconnaissance — footprinting that involves the uses of tools and resources that can assist in obtaining more information about your target without directly interacting with it. Below I described methods of obtaining information while remaining stealthy.
Google Dorks
Google Dorks is a passive information gathering method that was already mentioned above. Here I’m going to show what queries might be useful during domain investigation.
site:example.com — limits search to a particular website or domain.
filetype:DOC — returns DOC files or other specified types, such as PDF, XLS and INI. Multiple file types can be searched for simultaneously by separating extensions with “|”.
intext:word1 — search for pages & websites that contain the specific word that you are searching.
allintext: word1 word2 word3 — search for all the given words in a page or website.
related:example.com — will list web pages that are “similar” to a specified web page.
site:*.example.com — show all subdomains. Asterisk acts as a substitute for a whole word or words in search queries.
Whois
Whois provides information about the registered users or assignees of an Internet resource, such as a Domain name, an IP address block, or an autonomous system. There are many Whois resources, these are good ones: whois.icann.org and whois.com.
Reverse Whois
Reverse Whois gives you a list of domains that have the same organization name or email address in their Whois record. For example, if you are investigating a company with the name “John Doe Inc” you can see all the other domains registered under the “John Doe Inc”. One of my favourite websites is viewdns.info as it has an extensive toolkit, including reverse whois lookups.
Same IP
Often discovering what site is running on the same server as your target’s website uncovers valuable information. For example, you might find sub-domains or development sites. Often the service provider who hosts this site is responsible for other services as well, use www.atsameip.intercode.ca and www.sameip.org to check it.
Passive DNS
Using only DNS records you can see what IP resolved to the name or what name resolved to the IP. Sometimes that is not enough and that’s where passive DNS records come in handy. They allow to check all the names that resolved to the researched IP, thus you can build a useful history of resolutions. My favourite product is RiskIQ Community Edition because it gives more information than just passive DNS. VirusTotal or SecurityTrails can be used for that purposes as well.
Internet archives and cache
The WaybackMachine can be used to find previous versions of webpages, enabling one to see how websites looked earlier or to recover deleted pages. Archive.today is another time capsule for web pages with the ability to manually add live url snapshots to the archive.
There are cases when deleted pages were not archived but are still cached by search engines. They can be found on cachedview.com or you can request the cached version with the following Google query: cache:website.com. Didn’t find anything on Google? Check the cache of other search engines but keep in mind that the cache shows the last time the page was indexed. Therefore, you might get the page with missing images and outdated information.
You may also like visualping.io — a monitoring service that takes screenshots of the webpage at the selected time and sends you an email alert if something changes.
Reputation, malware and referrals analysis
Reputation is important to know with whom you are dealing with and whether the website can be trusted. In case of any suspicions, malicious activity check using free online tools might save you the trouble of opening the website in the VM or going through other precaution steps. Referral analysis is a search for inward and outward HTML links. Although doing the test on its own is not going to get you precise results, still, it’s one of the methods that might show you connected domains.
www.siteworthtraffic.com — analyses website traffic (users, page views) and estimates how much revenue it could generate through ads.
www.alexa.com —analyses website traffic and it’s competitors, shows what they are doing better and gives advice on SEO improvement.
www.similarweb.com — analytics tool which provides deep information on website or mobile ranking, performance, the source of traffic, and more. On top of that, it does referral analysis.
https://sitecheck.sucuri.net — scans websites for known malware, blacklisting status, website errors, and out-of-date software.
www.quttera.com — offers free malware scanning and provides a comprehensive report that includes malicious files, suspicious files, blacklisted status and more.
www.urlvoid.com — helps you detect potentially malicious websites. Also, it gives more information about the domain (IP address, DNS records, etc.) and cross-references it against known blacklists.
IoT search engines
IoT (Internet of Things) search engines show you devices connected to the cyberspace, think Google Search but for Internet-connected devices. Why is that useful? Instead of actively scanning ports and services with Nmap, for example, you can request already available information about open ports, applications, and protocols. Shodan.io is the most popular internet scanner with public API and integration with many security tools. For marketers, it provides data about product users and where they are located. Security researchers use it to uncover vulnerable systems and get access to a wide range of IoT devices. There are other alternatives like Censys, or it’s Chinese analogies — Fofa and ZoomEye.
Location search
IntelTechniques.com OSINT Workflow Chart: Location
Geolocation tools
Creepy is a free tool that allows data gathering from social networks and image hosting services for location research. The commercial option would be Echosec that costs nearly $500 per month, but if you are a nonprofit or a freelance journalist, you can apply for access to Echosec Pro at no cost.
IP-based Geolocation
IP-based Geolocation is a mapping of the IP address or MAC address to the real-world geographic location. There are many websites that map IP address to location, one of them is www.iplocation.net. When you know WI-FI access points the person has previously connected to — use wigle.net to map them and do more detailed research on Google Earth.
Useful websites
www.emporis.com — database of architecture, provides images of buildings from all over the world. Might be useful to determine what building is on the picture.
http://snradar.azurewebsites.net — search for geotagged public posts VKontakte and filter them by date.
http://photo-map.ru — allows to search geotagged VKontakte posts, as a previous service, but requires authorization.
www.earthcam.com — the global network of owned and operated live streaming webcams which might be useful during location research.
www.insecam.org — a directory of online security cameras. The coordinates of the cameras are approximate and point to the ISP address and not the physical address of the camera.
Images
When you have a picture and want to know where else it is used or when did it first appear — do the reverse image search using Google Images, Bing Images, and Baidu Images. In addition, TinEye’s algorithms are designed differently than Google’s and as such can return different results. Why is that useful? As an investigator, you may find the person by avatar as people usually don’t bother changing profile pictures for the various social networks they use. As a journalist, you may perform an image search paired with filtering to expose fake news. For example, a picture taken on the day of the event searched with date filter range that is earlier than the described event can’t be found earlier. Thus, if the image is found — it was created before the event, therefore it’s fake. If you need a narrow search across the social network Findclone and Findmevk.com for Vkontakte or karmadecay for Reddit will do the job. Also, its worth to mention browser extensions: RevEye for Chrome and Image Search Options for Firefox. Mobile apps like CamFind for iOS might help you searching for things from the physical world. Moreover, there is an Image Identification Project to identify what’s on the image using AI.
The image itself contains a lot of useful information, like the camera information, geocordinates, etc. — it’s called EXIF data and if it wasn’t removed you might find a lot of interesting info. For example, map geocordinates to find out where the picture was taken or get camera serial number and look if there are pictures taken with that camera on the internet, there is a special service for that — stolencamerafinder.com. Image editing tools allow to view metadata, if you don’t need to install a complex program, Exiftool — the cross-platform free software might the thing you are looking for. The third option is to view EXIF data online: exifdata.com or viewexifdata.com. To remove EXIF data you can use a locally installed tool: exifpurge.com or do it online: verexif.com.
Do you need to perform image forensics and find out if the image was tampered with? Use Forensically or FotoForensics online tools. If you don’t want to upload an image online — Phoenix or Ghiro can be run locally. The latter is more automated and gives you more functionality than the above mentioned online tools. Apart from that, working with images you might need to deblur it or improve the quality, so here are some enhancement tools:
Smartdeblur — restores motion blur and removes Gaussian blur. Helps to restore focus and do image improvements which deliver amazing results.
Blurity — focuses only on deblurring images, doesn't provide such many options like the previous tool and available only on Mac.
Letsenhance.io — enhance and upscale images online using AI.
SOCMINT
SOCMINT is a subset of OSINT that concentrates on data gathering and monitoring on social media platforms. I have already described some social media intelligence techniques, here I will complete the picture by listing more of useful tools.
Facebook
Stalkscan — displays all publicly accessible information about the person.
ExractFace — extracts data from Facebook, making it available offline to use as evidence or perform advanced offline analysis.
Facebook Sleep Stats — estimates sleeping patterns based on users online/offline status.
lookup-id.com — helps you to find the Facebook ID for a profile or a group.
Twitter
Twitter advanced search — well, that’s pretty self-explanatory :)
TweetDeck — gives you a dashboard that displays separate columns of activity from your Twitter accounts. For example, you might see separate columns for your home feed, your notifications, your direct messages, and your activity — all in one place on the screen.
Trendsmap — shows you the most popular trends, hashtags, and keywords on Twitter from anywhere around the world.
Foller — gives you rich insights about any public Twitter profile (profile public information, number of tweets and followers, topics, hashtags, mentions).
Socialbearing — free Twitter analytics & search for tweets, timelines & twitter maps. Finds, filters, and sorts tweets or people by engagement, influence, location, sentiment and more.
Sleepingtime — shows the sleeping schedule of Twitter public accounts.
Tinfoleak — shows devices, operating systems, applications and social networks used by the Twitter user. Also, it shows places and geolocation coordinates to generate a tracking map of locations visited. Maps user tweets in Google Earth and more.
Instagram
www.picodash.com — exports followers statistics of a selected user or statistics by a selected hastag to a spreadsheet (CSV). Also, it exports likers and comments.
https://web.stagram.com — online Image and Video Viewer/Downloader.
https://codeofaninja.com/tools/find-instagram-user-id — gets user ID. Usernames might change so it’s useful to know profile’s ID to not to lose the page.
http://instadp.com — shows profile picture in full size.
https://sometag.org — searches for trending hashtags, locations and accounts. In addition, it compares accounts and exports followers and hashtag statistics.
LinkedIn
InSpy — an enumeration tool is written in Python. Can be used to search for employees of a specific organization. Additionally, it can find out what technologies the organization uses, which is done by a crawling job listing for specific keywords.
LinkedInt — scrapes e-mail addresses of employees in a selected organization. Supports automated e-mail prefix detection for a given company domain name.
ScrapedIn — a Python script that scrapes profile data and imports it into XLSX file (intended to be used with Google Spreadsheets).
Automating OSINT
Internet is the ocean of data and looking for the information manually might be time-consuming and not effective, plus automated tools could make correlation you wouldn’t spot otherwise. It all depends on your case, whether you need to use these tools or not, as most of them have a steep learning curve and are required to solve complex problems. Thus, if you need to accomplish several simple tasks — don’t bother installing software, just use online services and standalone scripts I have described earlier. To save some time and have an investigative environment ready, with all of these described below tools installed (excerpt FOCA), you can download Buscador OS — Linux Virtual Machine that is pre-configured for OSINT.
SpiderFoot
SpiderFoot is one of the best reconnaissance tools out there if you want to automate OSINT as it can be used to query more than 100 public data sources simultaneously and its modularity allows to fine-tune queried sources. What I personally liked is scanning by use cases. There are four different use cases: get everything and everything about the target, understand what your target exposes to the Internet (done through web crawling and search engine use), query blacklists and other sources to check target’s maliciousness and gather intelligence through different open sources. The last one is ideal for passive reconnaissance.
theHarvester
theHarvester is a very simple, yet effective tool used to fetch valuable information about the target on information gathering stage. It is great for scanning domain related information and harvesting emails. For passive reconnaissance, theHarvester uses many resources to fetch the data like Bing, Baidu, Yahoo and Google search engine, and also social networks like LinkedIn, Twitter and Google Plus. For active reconnaissance, it does DNS reverse lookup, DNS TDL expansion, and DNS brute force.
Recon-ng
Recon-ng is another great command line tool used to perform information gathering thoroughly and quickly. This full-featured Web Reconnaissance framework includes a good selection of modules for passive reconnaissance, convenience functions and interactive help to guide you on how to use it properly. For those familiar with Metasploit, Recon-ng will be easier to learn as it has similar usage model. If you are looking for something powerful that can quickly check the visibility of your company on the Internet — this is a tool to go.
Maltego
Maltego is an advanced platform developed for analyzing complex environments. Apart from data mining, it does data correlation and visually presents it. Maltego works with entities (people, companies, web sites, documents and more) which you connect for further information gathering about them from different sources to get meaningful results. The distinctive feature of this tool is “transforms” — a library of plugins that help to run a different kind of tests and data integrations with external applications.
FOCA
FOCA (Fingerprinting Organizations with Collected Archives) is a tool for extracting hidden information and metadata from analyzed documents. When all documents are analyzed and metadata extracted it does automated metadata analysis to establish which documents were created by the same user. Also, it does correlation by server and printer. The latest version is available only for Windows.
Metagoofil
Metagoofil is a command line tool that is used to download public documents from websites with the following analysis and metadata extraction. It works with pdf, doc, xls, ppt, and other formats.
Conclusion
To conclude, it’s hard to stay private in the post-privacy world and control what information is floating in this digital ocean. While you can’t control everything that’s out there about you, it’s important to be at least aware about it. It goes without saying, that in the digital age information plays the key role so those who know how to find it will always be one step ahead. That’s what this article is for, to show how OSINT helps to solve a broad range of problems: from marketing to investigations and cybersecurity. However, I have described the only tip of the iceberg and most techniques in the article are simple but still powerful. Therefore, some of the techniques when used in a malicious purpose might cause damage so I expect you will use them sensibly.
While this article was more about intelligence gathering, the next one will be about the preparation phase. Let me know in the comments if there is something specific you want to know about preparing an investigative environment. By the way, what tools and techniques do you use to gather intelligence?

Free www Redirect Checker | SEO Ninja Softwares
What does URL Redirect mean?
URL redirection refers to a technique that is used to make a web page available under one or multiple URL(s), also called domain forwarding or domain redirection. URL redirect is a function of a web server that sends a user from one URL to another. There are different ways to redirect, including meta tag refresh, JavaScript, frames, server-side scripts, HTTP 3xx series status code and manual redirects. Reasons to redirect a URL to another are:
Change of business name
On merging of two websites
Direct traffic to recently updated content
Direct content to updated domain name

Basic URL Redirection Types
When we talk about redirects, we are referring to the numeric codes that a web server sends back to a user’s browser. They are:
Permanent redirection: 301 – This URL redirection is used in cases when the URL for a certain website/web page has been changed for a long-term period.
Temporary redirection: 302 – You will need a 302 redirection in cases when a certain URL has been changed to a different address temporarily.
Redirection: 303 – In contrast to the 301 and 302 redirects, the 303 redirect is not used for making a substitute reference for the originally requested URL.
Gone status code: 410 – This redirection status is used when a certain web page has been removed on purpose and the users need to be informed that its URL is permanently unavailable and no substitute reference is necessary for it.
Why Should we check for URL Redirection?
One of the main reasons why you need to check the redirects is because at time there are incorrectly configured redirects towards your website. All this may lead to loss of traffic and can hamper your website’s search engine rankings. Accuracy of redirects is another crucial aspect of the SEO campaign and must be checked thoroughly.
About Using URL Redirect Checker
Redirect checker or URL redirect tracker can be used to track down where a particular affiliate link goes to and which affiliate network is involved or to ensure if those URL shortners or bit.ly links are redirecting to a legitimate page. URL redirect tracker also helps users to check their own redirects to make sure that they are in a good health or to see if the redirected domain is correctly redirected to your new domain. Furthermore, with the help of any URL redirect tracker you can also find out that where cookies are being set in the redirection path.

How to avoid mixed content issues on your website
The digital world today teaches us the importance of creating a well-optimized website and maintaining its value. However, there are plenty of obstacles along the way to prevent you from getting there. Whether we’re talking about website usability and design, off-page or on-page optimization factors – you need to constantly monitor all of it. And when you migrate your website from an insecure HTTP connection to a more secure HTTPS connection – this can cause certain issues. One of the more common issues to consider here is how to avoid mixed content issues during this migration to HTTPS. Why? Because it can lead to a drop in website value, something you don’t want to go through. So, let’s take a closer look at how best to prevent this from happening.
Upgrade your website security by learning how to avoid mixed content issues.
What is Mixed Content?
According to Google, when HTML on a website loads over a secure HTTPS connection but other content such as images, videos, stylesheet, scripts, etc. continue to load over an insecure HTTP connection, you get a mixed content issue.
As a result of this occurrence, certain web pages load securely while others load insecurely, which comprises the security of a website. The main issue here is that you have insecure content that loads over a secure HTTPS connection. Modern browsers such as Google Chrome recognize this and display notifications to site visitors, warning them that the web content they are attempting to view is potentially insecure. This can often lead site visitors to instantly leave the website, increasing the overall bounce rate. That is why it is so important for site owners to properly secure websites with HTTPS measures that help avoid mixed content and enables companies to continue developing their brands.
Why is mixed content a security risk?
When you avoid mixed content issues, you are automatically improving your website security. On the other hand, neglecting to prevent mixed content opens up your website to cyber-attacks and compromises the overall security of the data on your website. Basically, by ignoring to secure all your content, you leave that entire page and others vulnerable to breaching.
The other issue comes for site visitors. Even though most search engines today recognize mixed content and warn visitors against it, that warning is not instant and can often be too late. And this leaves a big window for hackers to breach your website and start damaging web pages that are insecure.
By allowing mixed content, you leave your website liable to cyber-attacks.
The different ways in which mixed or insecure content can cause security problems:
Hackers can swap images or modify content on insecure pages with others by intercepting HTTP requests to load images or content;
CTA buttons on certain pages can be deleted, causing visitors to delete files instead of saving them, etc.;
Intruders can completely change the front end of your site, defacing the initial images or content that appears;
Hackers can gain access to logins, passwords, session cookies, cached files, etc.;
Your site visitors can end up being redirected to other websites and domains.
Even though most search engines try to block mixed content, some things can always slip through the cracks. That is why it is so essential for you to do all you can to avoid mixed content on your website and remove it. If you simply choose to block it, it could lead to devaluation of your website and loss in site traffic, in addition to other problems.
How can you identify mixed content issues on your HTTPS website?
Just because you’ve done the right thing by encrypting your site’s data, doesn’t mean your website’s content is fully secure. That’s why you must work hard to prevent loading mixed content on your website in the first place. Otherwise, that SSL certificate does you no good. So, make sure to go through the following steps:
Step #1: Inspect your web pages
As obvious as it sounds, most people don’t find the time to go through all the pages on their website. And this is the first place to start checking for mixed content issues. And it’s simple enough to check. Here is a step-by-step guide for checking for mixed content on Google Chrome:
Click on the webpage you want to check.
Right-click and scroll down to ‘Inspect Element’
Choose the tab labeled Console.
If the mixed content is very serious, the mixed content warnings will display in red.
Remember that you need to do this for each page separately, as Chrome developer tools will only display warnings for the page you are currently examining. Therefore, you will need to inspect all other pages to determine whether or not they have mixed content issues that might arise.
Step #2: Go through the URLs on your website
When you have an active SSL certificate on your site, all your page URLs should start with https://. If this is not the case and you notice that there are pages that start with http:// – then you are in trouble. And this usually means that there are mixed content issues that you need to resolve. The best practice would be to maintain a spreadsheet of all faulty pages that you come across and then go through all of them, to make sure that no other mixed content issues occur.
Step #3: Compare the HTTP and HTTPS web pages
Once you do discover HTTP pages on your website, you need to discover whether or not certain content is being blocked by your search browsers. The way to do this is to compare the HTTP web pages with the HTTPS web pages. If the content matches on both pages, you can move on. If there are warning about content that your browsers can’t display, you need to consider the following actions:
Get rid of the resource altogether (e.g. the image, video, etc. that will not display over HTTP);
Replace them with resources from another host or download and host the resources on your site directly.
Step 4: Change the URL and Save
If you have the same content on both HTTP and HTTPS connections, you need to change the URL from http:// to https://, save the source file and redeploy the updated file. Once you’re done, revisit the page to make sure that there is no longer any mixed content on it.
By changing the URLs, you can remove the mixed content issues.
Ways to avoid mixed content issues on your website
It can be frustrating to install an SSL certificate on your website and continue to receive mixed content warnings despite the secure connection. That’s why taking a few additional measures to secure your website, and safeguard your site visitors, is sometimes necessary.
1. Always Use HTTPS URLs When Loading Your Webpages
It’s important that you apply your HTTPS connection (https://) to all web pages on your website whenever possible. If you notice that your web pages are loading over an insecure connection, despite having an active SSL certificate on your site, you need to fix this. This might mean getting in touch with your web hosting provider’s support team if they’re the ones providing you with an SSL certificate.
2. Use the Content-Security-Policy-Report-Only Header
If you want to collect reports of mixed content on your website automatically, you might consider adding this snippet of code to your site’s HTTP response header. Although this isn’t 100% reliable for fixing mixed content before it becomes a problem, it does help those with large websites stay on top of insecure content. When a site visitor lands on a web page that has mixed content, a report is sent to https://ift.tt/2ssQRsa alerting you that something has violated the content security policy.
The report will include the:
URL of the webpage in question, and
The subresource that violated the policy.
By configuring your reporting endpoint to log these reports, you can track mixed content on your website without having to visit each webpage yourself. That said, the only time this strategy works is if a site visitor lands on a web page with mixed content. Not to mention, you’ll only receive reports for moderately to highly trafficked web pages, meaning mixed content may be loading for some time before you become aware of it.
3. Use the upgrade-insecure-requests CSP Directive
Another way to automatically detect and fix mixed content warnings on your HTTPS site before it becomes an issue is to use the upgrade-insecure-requests directive tool. This tool tells the browser to upgrade all insecure URLs before making any user requests.
In other words, an insecure URL will be made secure before loading for a site visitor on the front end of your website. To do this, add this meta tag snippet of code to the document’s HTML <head> section.
Remember, if the resource that is loading via HTTP over an HTTPS connection is not available over HTTPS, this tool will not work. Therefore, the resource will not be upgraded as secure and will not load for site visitors. Though this means site visitors will miss some of your site’s content, it also means they remain secure as they explore your site.
4. Avoid mixed content issues with the help of online tools
Smaller businesses with large websites might not have the manpower or expertise to go through all the pages to find insecure content. Luckily, there are plenty of online tools that can help you overcome that obstacle, such as:
Why No Padlock? (great for checking URLs for any insecure links on your site).
HTTPS Checker (great for checking ‘Not Secure’ warnings and issues related to imports and content changes, as well as preparing for HTTPS migrations)
Mixed Content Scan. (great for scanning your HTTPS website for mixed content)
JitBit Scanner: (great for discovering insecure images, scripts, and CSS files that trigger mixed content warnings)

Free resources to grow your business during lockdown
30-second summary:
Lockdown and self-quarantine are causing consumers to spend more time online.
To encourage growth, companies may need to pivot the way they interact with customers or the goods and services they supply as demands change.
Organizations need to optimize their SEO strategy, website and online presence to stay relevant among competitors.
Several free resources are available to analyze SEO and websites. You can use them to make changes and improvements so that during lockdown your business continues to grow.
The Coronavirus outbreak is changing life as we know it. As billions of people shelter in place, they’re spending even more time online. This is good and bad news for businesses.
The good news is that there are more consumers online, more of the time. The bad news is that they have time to be more discerning in their choices and that your rivals are looking to capitalize on this and grow their companies just as much as you are…
Getting ahead without crunching your pocket
To ensure your business stays relevant in this strange new world, you’ll need to up your game. This involves interacting with customers in novel ways, creating attractive campaigns and special offers, and possibly pivoting the goods and services you offer to meet new consumer demands.
Digital marketing and SEO have always been cutthroat, and they’re even more so in the face of the COVID-19 lockdown. The changes that you make to your company – to ensure it survives and even thrives during this time – may mean that your current marketing strategies are no longer optimal.
With all that in mind, updating your organization’s website and general online presence is crucial. Reviewing and refreshing these should always be a regular habit, but as the world’s economy and demands are changing so much, it’s especially important right now.
Luckily, there are several resources to help you with such updates. A lot of them cost money, but there are some excellent free options if you’re looking to cut back on expenses. Some of the top free tools that can perform tasks like checking if your pages are indexed by Google, analyzing onsite SEO efficiency, and evaluating content are listed below.
1. GTmetrix
Search engines (Google included) are increasingly giving preferential treatment to sites that load content quickly and putting them higher in their search results. GTmetrix analyzes sites’ load speeds, identifying the specific features that make a site too big, too slow, and satisfactorily fast. It also supplies a list of practical suggestions for you to speed up your load times.
Enter a URL into the tool, and you’ll get a thorough report highlighting the areas that need improvement.
2. Linkody’s Free Google Index Checker
As a big part of your site’s health and growth is impacted by Google crawling it, you need to stay on top of indexing. With this free index checker, you can determine whether a specific page or an entire domain is indexed. All you need to do is enter your URL and Linkody alerts you about the current index status. Not indexed can indicate that Google hasn’t crawled a page or site yet, or that a page is considered low-quality or even worse, a site as a whole is de-indexed. Indexing problems happen to the best of us (looking at you, Linkedin) so a basic check should be part of your SEO routine.
3. Ahrefs Academy’s: Blogging for Business
The video tutorials on Ahrefs Academy are informative and easy to understand, making them great resources. Blogging for Business is no exception, and includes sections on everything from basic principles of blogging to growing companies, to creating content that promotes itself. Scroll down the site and watch all of the short videos in order, or jump to the section you’re interested in.
4. Harmon Brothers University Script Challenge
Marketing masterminds Harmon Brothers are offering a free resource, a 14-day Video Script Challenge, where they’ll give you everything you need to write a video script that will successfully sell a product or service. The step-by-step instructions are scalable so they can be implemented no matter how big business grows.
5. Shopify’s 90-Day free trial
As part of Shopify’s COVID-19 response, the multinational ecommerce company is offering several informative free webinars and giving new clients a free 90-day trial of its services. Businesses can sign up and create their virtual stores in just a few minutes, complete with attractive themes and customizable responses.
6. Chrome’s SEO Ruler
SEO Ruler is a free Chrome extension that provides over 25 tools in a single package. Link Tools, OnPage Copy Tools and SERP Page Tools help to maximize your SEO, while OnPage Viewer, Schema Viewer, and Quick Google options enhance user experiences so that they search for – and find – much more.
7. SEOAURA’s website responsive test
Search engines have also started toprioritize websites that look good across all platforms, regardless of their orientation or size. In other words, if your site is equally attractive on desktop, tablets and smartphones, you’ll rank higher on the SERPs.
Make sure your website’s looks and functionality are perfect on every device by putting it through the SEOAURA Website Responsive Test. If your site doesn’t pass muster, consider updating it yourself or consulting a professional designer.
8. SERPerator by MobileMoxie
MobileMoxie offers a range of tools that enable companies to analyze their mobile websites and improve their traffic, which ultimately boosts revenue.
The tools can all be tried free for a period of seven days, and the SERPerator SERP test is available for five runs per day at no charge. Just enter the business details, the search term, the search engine and the phone language and run the SERP test for two mobile devices of your choice.
9. Free courses from Moz Academy
Software as a Service (SaaS) giant Moz offers exceptional software and educational materials on SEO. Now you can access a lot of their online courses for free to help you take your marketing strategy to the next level. Until May 31, 2020, check out the full course content for Page Optimization, Backlink Basics, and all their other subjects, which usually retail for over $100 each.
10. Moz Local
One of the top SEO products that Moz offers is its Moz Local, which helps companies check their local business listing, automate online deletions, and optimally manage their profiles in real time. Various plans are offered for different prices, but you can perform the simple task of checking business listings’ online presence by heading to the Moz Local page, selecting the Check My Online Presence button, and entering the company’s physical address.
11. Scout Suggest
This keyword tool allows online marketers to find phrases, synonyms and modifiers for your keywords to use for any subject. Simply enter a keyword, select the region that you’re interested in, and run the tool to get a report with thousands of related terms, phrases and questions. You’ll also get N-grams which groups related keywords into clusters that make it easier to plan for your next content piece.
12. Calendly’s Virtual Meetings Integration
Finally, to keep companies and marketing campaigns on track all involved stakeholders have to meet regularly. But these meetings don’t have to be physical, and at the moment they can’t be. Calendly offers free GoToMeeting and Zoom integrations until the end of June 2020. Everyone who works remotely can stay on track with projects and, just as importantly, connect with co-workers and clients too.
Closing thoughts
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, no one is sure what the final fallout will be. While waiting for the dust to settle, you might need to pivot your business several times if you want to continue its growth. Reviews of its SEO performance should be conducted whenever you make changes – and at regular intervals, as a matter of best practice.

Hi.I created this list last year but I've decided to give it an update as I've cut a lot of things out of my SEO processes. This time I've added in tools stacks to point you in the right direction. Here's a list of tools I've used in SEO.It contains some golden nuggets i'm sure a few of you will find useful.Quick over run of the tools:Local SEOLocal Viking - I know theres a few tools out there that do similar things but this is the one I'm using. "Schedule GMB Posts, Track Snack Pack Rankings and Manage All Of Your Google My Business Properties From One Easy To Use Dashboard." It's paid.Outreach / Linkbuilding ToolsSurfer SEO - This is a data-driven SEO tool which could help you with scaling your traffic in 2020. The tool can analyse more than 500 ranking factors and shows you the correlation between the importance of factor and position in SERP. We make an analysis based on keyword and we crawl first 50 results from Google. This costs.AuthoritySpy - This tool is great for automating the ability to find authoritative influencers and bloggers in a chosen niche. You simply put in a keyword or niche that you're interested in and it will return hundreds or thousands of people that you can use for your campaigns. This costs.Guest Post Tracker - Big database containing 1500+ domains that accept guest posts.Just Reach Out .io - This tool helps you get press without the need for a PR team. "Our software allows you to find the most relevant journalists, publications, press opportunities, podcasts and broken links so you can pitch with confidence." This costs.Marie Haynes Blacklist - I've not had to create a disavow file in a while and to be honest most of you shouldn't have to unless you're SEO's. But in case you do, please check out this tool. IF theres anyone to follow for more information on Google Penalties and algorithm changes its Marie. This is free.Buzzstream - Buzzstream is an outreach platform you can use to store data you gather on your influencers. You can send emails within the platform too so you'll be able to see if your colleague has contacted them too. It's got a sweet analytics section too. This costs.SERP Insights - This tool allows you to enter a keyword for a chosen vertical and produces a report that contains all the information you need to learn why your competitors are ranking so high and what metrics you need to improve on to outrank them. This costs however theres a freemium version.Detailed - This tools pretty cool it generates updated website rankings within your niche that is sorted out by Twitter mentions. You can see who's talking about the biggest sites online.Ahrefs - You can check lots of data with this tool. Broken links, competitors backlink profiles, anchor texts used, referring domains for your own website, get keyword volumes and more. This costs.SEO Jet - I use this to check my anchor text usage on my urls. It splits your anchor text into three groups (Blended, exact match and Natural) and gives you a gauge that allows you to see what types of anchor text you need in order to stay fully optimised. This costs.Majestic SEO - Looking at your referring domains are great but topical trust flow is a big thing. Having relevant domains linking to you from your topical niche is vital to higher rankings and this is exactly what Majestic shows you. I use this in combination with Ahrefs. This costs.Dibs - This tool is designed to save you time and simplify the link building process. You enter a bunch of advanced search operators and it goes an returns all the results for you. You can then export this data or filter them in the app. It also displays a bunch of spam metrics that will help you decide on what sites to avoid. Once done you can import all your data straight into Pitchbox or export the data and import it into Buzzstream. (I prefer Buzzstream). Theres more but you should check it out. This Costs.HARO - Right, this stands for Help A Reporter Out. Basically if a reporter needs sources to provide a statement on a topic, you have the option to comment. In return you will get a link or a mention. The problem? You will get a lot of requests, it can be annoying to dig out what's worth your while or not. I remember listening to a podcast and someone was creating a tool to help filter out the requests. If anyone knows who's doing this, please drop me a msg or comment below.Scrapers / ScannersDomain Hunter Plus - If you're creating PBNs this tool is great. Its similar to Check My Links as it scans the page your on but this one checks to see if the links mentioned are available to register. It's free.Check My Links - This is a chrome extension that lets you scan for broken links on a page. It's free.URL Profiler - This is a great tool for link builders.
