Sketchbook spread #1. Don’t mind me using Ryan Ross as my muse to motivate me to actually draw. I’ve never actually posted on this app so let’s see how this goes :)

In The End There Is Only You
I wrote my first ever Tomarry for Dark Festivus. I was really happy with how it turned out especially considering how much research went into it.
Summary: Sometimes in an hour of desperate need, a powerful witch or wizard, can make a wish upon magic itself. These wishes are rare, and only granted when a true difference can be made, in order to save the world from catastrophe. When Harry is drawn to one such wish, he is sucked into the orbit of a terrifyingly powerful boy, who draws Harry to him like the inevitable pull of a black hole. One that simply has no escape.

Omg yall I'm going to Tenesse next month and I just finished Dead End: Paranormal Park, and now I'm scared to go to Dollywood like yall wtf I don't wanna get caught up in it to find out that DOLLY PARTON legit does the same stuff Pauline Phoenix does to stay alive. (Like is it just me or does Dolly Parton seem really old??)

September 10, 1922: It was on this day 100 years ago that the world saw the first "Our Gang" comedy---(original posting: 09/10 2022)
"One Terrible Day", was the fourth film Hal Roach produced for his new series but it was the first one to be shown theatricality.
Seen here are Ernie "Sunshine Sammy" Morrison & Jackie Condon.
I have been blessed to have met many intersting people in my life. Ernest Fredric Morrison (December 20, 1912 – July 24, 1989) was a child actor, comedian, vaudevillian & dancer who also performed under the stage name "Sunshine Sammy" Morrison.
He was the first African American actor to be signed to a long-term film contract, signing with studio executive & comedy film producer Hal Roach in 1919. He appeared in silent comedy shorts opposite both Harold Lloyd & Snub Pollard. By 1922, he ultimately became an original performer in the "Our Gang" film franchise.
Later he became known to film-goers as "Scruno" the only black member of "The East Side Kids". Morrison later worked as a quality control inspector for an aerospace company in Compton, California.
Ernie "Sunshine Sammy" Morrison in 1988. His smile would light up the room.

I think a mutual made a post a few weeks ago about watching Dead End: Paranormal Park and yeah.... go watch it if you like she-ra, atla, or animation in general
I love how vibrant and warm the art style is, and the voice acting???? Clearly put together with a lot of love and attention, and open trans rep.
Also some of the horror scenes are genuinely chilling! Great job

Dead End Kids
chapters
summary
the dead end kids are everywhere. even in Laurent Academy, which is not as grand as it sounds. Wendy’s there because of its high test scores, Jet’s there because she was expelled from public school, Jude’s there as a good influence, Johnny’s there in hopes to turn his life around, and Simon’s also there. they’re all dead end kids, though the reasons vary. for some of them, it’s a long road, and others have been stuck in a ditch either way since before they could remember…
