Daniel Romano is a prolific Canadian artist from Welland, Ontario. He and his band, The Outfit, just had a record release party for "Too Hot To Sleep". Joining them were Uni Boys. Wish I could have seen the show.

"Too Hot To Sleep" rocks...so hard. So yes, Uni Boys and Billy Tibbals fans will enjoy it. But so will fans of Ted Leo. And so will fans of The Stooges, and The Lemon Twigs (earlier records). And finally, check out Ancient Shapes (one of Romano's earlier projects).

You've Changed Records (Canada) is releasing this. They've recently released another great LP from Apollo Ghosts.
