listen, you will never see me on either tiktok or a cruise ship, but i will admit that i very much enjoy watching markie cover the tiktok drama from the 9 month cruise on youtube.
in between everyone who has no idea how travelling by boat works, the absolute nonsensical classism between passengers (you can all afford tickets for this cruise???), everyone who has no idea how travelling to antarctica works, the Pinnacle™ Cruisers vs every other fucking passenger, and our pineapple queen adita, im very invested in the reality show that the 9 month cruise has turned into.
also im unfortunately unsurprised by the fact that many of the passengers are racist, but jesus fucking christ some people really do just say the quiet part out loud.

Happy World Penguin Day!
I will celebrate today by featuring penguins of Antarctica! We saw Gentoo, Chinstrap, and Adelie. Our first stop was on South Shetland Islands where we saw tons of penguins. This island did not have much snow on it yet. We had to be careful around the penguin colonies. We weren’t allowed to set down any of our bags or equipment due to the threat of bird flu. We even had to clean our boots…

Antarctica Day 5
We were jolted awake at 6.30am by the dulcet tones of Mario over the PA welcoming us to the day. Jesus fucking Christ, Mario! A bit of warning would have been nice! We’d set an alarm for 7.30, I’d gotten up for a wee at about quarter past six all smug that we still had over an hour to snooze in our outlandishly comfortable beds. He was only waking us up to tell us how awful the weather was too,…
