Tumblr media
Introduction
In the fast-paced world of modern business, organizations are constantly seeking ways to optimize their operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency. One strategy that has emerged as a powerful solution to these challenges is the adoption of shared services centers (SSCs). These centers consolidate and streamline various back-office functions such as finance, human resources, IT, and procurement, allowing organizations to standardize processes, leverage economies of scale, and drive operational excellence.
According to a study by Next Move Strategy Consulting, the global Shared Services Centre Market size is predicted to reach USD 216.23 billion with a CAGR of 21.1% by 2030. This staggering growth reflects the increasing importance of shared services centers in today's business landscape and underscores the significant opportunities they present for organizations looking to achieve sustainable competitive advantage.

In this comprehensive article, we will delve deeper into the trends and opportunities shaping the global shared services center market, examining the key drivers driving growth, the challenges facing organizations, and the strategies for success in this dynamic and evolving industry.
Trend 1: Digital Transformation
One of the most significant trends impacting the shared services center market is the ongoing digital transformation. In today's digital age, organizations are leveraging advanced technologies such as robotic process automation (RPA), artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and data analytics to automate repetitive tasks, enhance decision-making processes, and drive greater efficiency within shared services operations.
RPA and Process Automation
Robotic Process Automation (RPA) has emerged as a game-changer in the shared services center landscape, allowing organizations to automate mundane and repetitive tasks across various back-office functions. By deploying software robots to perform routine tasks such as data entry, invoice processing, and reconciliation, SSCs can significantly reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and accelerate process cycle times.
AI and Machine Learning
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are also revolutionizing shared services operations by enabling predictive analytics, natural language processing, and cognitive automation. These technologies empower SSCs to extract valuable insights from large volumes of data, identify patterns and trends, and make data-driven decisions in real-time. From predicting customer behavior to optimizing supply chain operations, AI and ML are transforming the way shared services centers operate and deliver value to their organizations.
Data Analytics
Data analytics plays a crucial role in enabling shared services centers to derive actionable insights from vast amounts of data generated by various business processes. By leveraging advanced analytics techniques such as predictive modeling, prescriptive analytics, and data visualization, SSCs can uncover hidden opportunities, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement across their operations.
Trend 2: Globalization
Another key trend in the shared services center market is the increasing globalization of operations. As businesses expand their presence across geographies, there is a growing need to centralize and standardize back-office functions to ensure consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements. This has led to the establishment of global shared services centers that serve multiple regions and business units, enabling organizations to achieve greater economies of scale and efficiency.
Regional Expansion
With the rise of global shared services centers, organizations are increasingly establishing regional hubs in strategic locations to support their operations in specific geographic markets. These regional hubs allow organizations to leverage local talent, language skills, and cultural knowledge while also benefiting from centralized governance, standardization, and cost savings.
Nearshoring and Offshoring
In addition to regional expansion, organizations are also exploring nearshoring and offshoring as strategies to optimize their shared services operations. Nearshoring involves outsourcing business processes to neighboring countries or regions with similar time zones and cultural affinities, while offshoring involves outsourcing to countries with lower labor costs and favorable business environments. By leveraging nearshoring and offshoring, organizations can access a global talent pool, reduce costs, and enhance operational flexibility.
Trend 3: Focus on Customer Experience
In today's customer-centric business environment, organizations are placing a greater emphasis on delivering exceptional customer experiences. Shared services centers play a crucial role in this regard by supporting front-line operations and providing timely, accurate support to customers and stakeholders. As a result, there is a growing focus on enhancing the customer experience within shared services operations through improved service levels, personalized interactions, and seamless omni-channel support.

Service Excellence
Service excellence is paramount in shared services operations, as SSCs serve as the backbone of the organization, providing critical support functions that enable front-line teams to deliver value to customers. To achieve service excellence, SSCs must prioritize customer satisfaction, responsiveness, and efficiency, ensuring that they meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs) and continuously strive for improvement.
Omni-channel Support
In an increasingly digital and interconnected world, customers expect seamless omni-channel support across multiple touchpoints, including phone, email, chat, and social media. Shared services centers must therefore invest in robust omni-channel support capabilities, enabling them to provide consistent and personalized service experiences regardless of the channel or device used by the customer.
Personalization
Personalization is another key driver of customer experience excellence in shared services operations. By leveraging customer data and insights, SSCs can tailor their interactions and communications to meet the unique needs and preferences of each individual customer. Whether it's recommending personalized products or services, anticipating customer needs, or resolving issues proactively, personalization enables SSCs to deliver value-added experiences that foster customer loyalty and advocacy.
Opportunities in the Global SSC Market
Amidst these trends, there are several opportunities emerging in the global shared services center market:
Expansion into Emerging Markets: With the increasing globalization of business operations, there is a significant opportunity for shared services centers to expand into emerging markets such as Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and Africa. These regions offer a large pool of skilled talent, lower operating costs, and untapped market potential, making them attractive destinations for SSCs looking to scale their operations.
Specialized Services: As organizations seek to differentiate themselves in the market, there is a growing demand for specialized shared services offerings tailored to specific industries or functional areas. SSCs are increasingly offering niche services such as advanced analytics, cybersecurity, and digital marketing to meet the evolving needs of their clients and drive value creation.
Collaboration with External Partners: In an era of increased collaboration and partnership, shared services centers are exploring opportunities to collaborate with external partners such as outsourcing providers, technology vendors, and industry consortia. By leveraging external expertise and capabilities, SSCs can enhance their service offerings, accelerate innovation, and drive business growth.
In conclusion, the global shared services center market is experiencing unprecedented growth and transformation, driven by digitalization, globalization, and a focus on customer experience. Organizations that embrace these trends and capitalize on the opportunities presented by the global SSC market will be well-positioned to achieve operational excellence, drive innovation, and create sustainable competitive advantage in today's dynamic business environment.

Black Market
Hitman Simon Riley x Doctor Fem!Reader
In desperate need of money to clear a million-dollar debt, you accept Simon's offer to become his personal doctor, earning twenty percent of each contract he completes. But as you plunge back into the black market, ghosts from your past emerge, threatening to unravel everything you've worked so hard to run away from.
Mention of Kidnapping.
Masterlist - Black Market Masterlist
Simon sat in his dimly lit house, the dim glow of his computer screen casting shadows across his face. He leaned back in his chair, fingers tapping impatiently on the keyboard as he navigated through the depths of the black market.
His eyes scanned the screen, brows furrowing in frustration as he scrolled through the listings, weighing the risks against the potential rewards. Contract after contract flashed before him, each promising a hefty sum of money in exchange for services rendered.
But to Simon, they were all the same—assassinations, espionage, sabotage. The thrill of danger had lost its appeal long ago, replaced by a sense of weariness and disillusionment.
Cursing under his breath, Simon scrolled through the listings for hire, his frustration growing with each passing moment. There were no personal black market doctors available for hire—every reputable one was already taken. It seemed like luck was against him today.
With a heavy sigh, he closed the browser window and turned his attention to the stack of mail sitting on his desk. Among the bills and junk mail, there it was – a jury duty summons.
He groaned aloud, rubbing his temples in frustration. Spending hours in a stuffy courtroom was the last thing he needed right now. It meant taking time away from his work, time that could be spent securing lucrative contracts and staying ahead of the game.
But there was no avoiding it. He knew he'd have to fulfill his civic duty, no matter how inconvenient it might be. With a resigned shake of his head, he tucked the summons into his pocket, another burden to add to the weight on his shoulders.
You find yourself slumping down on the hard concrete steps in front of the courthouse, the weight of defeat heavy upon you. Having lost your case and now facing a million dollars in debt, the world seems to close in around you. With a resigned sigh, you reach for your pack of cigarettes, seeking solace in the familiar routine.
"Mind sharing your pack?" A deep, coarse voice breaks through your thoughts, and you glance over to see a tall man dressed in black leaning against the railing beside you. Without hesitation, you extend your pack to him, and he takes one before returning the pack to you.
Simon curses to himself, realizing he's forgotten his lighter, confiscated earlier by a courthouse officer. "Mind lighting me? Fuckers at the courthouse took my light," he grumbles, frustration evident in his voice.
You smiled and handed him your lighter, the flame casting a warm glow on his face as he lit his cigarette. "Jury duty?" you asked casually, observing him take a deep drag before exhaling a cloud of smoke.
"Yeah, you?" he replied, his tone resigned but with a hint of intrigue.
You laughed wryly and took another drag, the bitter taste of nicotine mingling with the heavy weight of your circumstances. "Just got sued for a million fucking dollars."
"Bloody fuck, what did you do?" Simon's eyebrows shot up in surprise, his interest immediately piqued.
You couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation. "I replaced a man’s heart with a pig heart," you confessed, fully aware of how crazy it sounded.
Simon's eyes widened in intrigue, and without hesitation, he walked over and sat down next to you, his curiosity now fully ignited. Knowing how to perform a heart transplant suggested a level of medical expertise that interested him.
"And how the bloody hell did you do that?" he asked, his curiosity evident in his voice.
“I was just sitting at the intersection for ages waiting for the light to change, when I noticed a guy getting mugged. Without thinking, I grabbed my emergency kit from the car and rushed over. Since I have O negative blood, I used my own blood for a transfusion to stabilize him. Then, I spotted a truck nearby loaded with pigs. I didn't waste a second - I hopped in, grabbed a pig, and performed an open heart surgery right there on the sidewalk. Sure, the guy ended up with a pig heart, but he's alive because of it. And now he's suing me? Unbelievable. Should've left that fuck to die.”
Simon couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of it all, but beneath the laughter, a plan began to form in his mind.
"So he was standing in the courtroom with a pig's heart?"
You shook your head, a wry smile playing on your lips. "No, he ended up getting a proper heart transplant. One that would never have happened if I hadn't stepped in. The bastard would've bled out and wasted all my blood before the paramedics even arrived."
"Are you a licensed doctor?”
Open heart surgery on a sidewalk and having O-negative blood? You were better than any doctor he could hire on the black market.
You shrugged nonchalantly. "No, I had my license revoked a few years back. They said my practice and way of thinking were unconventional, that I should be working in a lab making more Frankenstein’s than helping people. I took it as a compliment though. Those doctors were just scared of what I could do, of how far I would go to save someone."
Simon smiled and took another drag before smashing the cigarette on the floor under his boot.
"So you're looking for jobs?"
You sighed, mirroring his action with your own cigarette. "In desperate need for a job."
"I think we could help each other," Simon suggested, his tone shifting slightly.
You slowly side-eyed him, then awkwardly laughed as you leaned away. "I'm not looking for jobs like that."
Simon's eyebrow quirked up before he realized how he sounded, and he shook his head with a smile. "Not like that, love. I meant that you could work for me, and I'd pay you."
You relaxed a bit and leaned back, intrigued. "What do you do?"
"Let's just say, you stay with me as my personal doctor, and I pay you twenty percent after each job I complete. You'll have your money in a couple of months,"
"A million dollars in a couple of months? What kind of jobs are giving you that type of money-" realization dawned on you, and a chill ran down your spine. Simon was involved in something much darker than you anticipated, and memories of your own past involvements in the black market came flooding back, making your palms sweat with unease.
"I'm sorry, but I can't take your offer," you said, your voice firm but polite. Simon furrowed his brows in confusion and frustration. He had just given you an opportunity of a lifetime, one you so desperately needed, and you turned him down?
Internally sighing, Simon knew he'd have to resort to more extreme measures now.
You got up and dusted off your butt before looking down at him. "Thank you for the offer, but I'm going to head out," you said, offering a weak smile before turning and heading to your car.
That night, Simon tracked down where you lived and noted your home address. He packed his duffle bag and got into his car, making his way over to your house. With careful precision, he snuck into your backyard and opened your back window before silently slipping inside.
Meanwhile, you were sitting at your desk, scrolling through job offerings in your pajamas, feeling the weight of impending debt pressing down on you. With a heavy sigh, you turned off your monitor, resigned to your fate. That's when you noticed it—the faint outline of a man in the dark reflection of your monitor screen.
Simon attempted to cover your mouth with a rag, but you reacted swiftly, elbowing him hard and knocking the wind out of him. Turning around, you landed a solid punch to his jaw, leaving Simon in disbelief. He had underestimated you.
As you ran, trying to reach your room, Simon quickly pinned you to the floor. Despite your resistance, he managed to overpower you, but you fought back fiercely, headbutting him in the face. Simon grunted, trying his best not to harm you.
You nearly reached your nightstand where you kept your gun, but Simon pinned you down again, this time on your stomach. Desperately, you struggled against him, but Simon pressed a rag against your mouth and nose, forcing you to inhale its contents. Despite your efforts to resist, you eventually succumbed to the effects, your body going limp in a matter of seconds.
Simon breathed deeply as he stood up, his chest heaving with exertion. Opening your nightstand, he retrieved your gun with a heavy sigh. "Bloody hell, love,"
Simon headed to the bathroom in search of your medical supplies. Finding what he needed, he grabbed a trash bag and hastily gathered a few of your clothes and essential items. With a sense of urgency, he tied up the bag and threw it over his shoulder, carefully picking you up and carrying you to his car.

I wouldn't mind holding your hand. I guess.

Cloud Strife x reader Fluff
--
"So, how'd it go?" Tifa asks the second you've walked through the door - it hadn't even closed properly behind you yet. Had she been waiting to pounce? "We don't say hello now?" You raise an eyebrow, shrugging off your jacket. You’d been dreading her interrogation - it had been a sleepless night.
"Hello.” She grins. “How'd it go?" She puts her hands down on the counter and leans forward as you approach.
"Fine." You shrug, going to lift up the latch to join her behind the bar, but Tifa is quick – shifting so she’s now leaning on top of it, blocking your entrance.
“You pay me to work here, remember?”
“And do you see any customers? Anyway, this is important. I don’t think you understand how rare it is to go on a date with Cloud Strife. Spill!”
You sigh, sitting down heavily on the stool. Really, you should’ve known that the brunette would be keen to hear every single detail…
You’d started working at Seventh Heaven nearly four months ago now. Before Meteor, you’d worked in Wall Market as a cocktail waitress, doing bar tricks to earn tips off a bunch of Shira employees. It was just by chance you’d been walking by when Tifa had put up the help wanted sign in the window. The two of you had got on immediately and your skills honed behind the bar meant you could really start straightaway. The first time you’d seen Cloud walk in, you were immediately attracted to him - the blue eyes, blonde hair, the muscular, toned arms on display... Who wouldn’t be? He, however, seemed very indifferent to you, though Tifa disagreed. “He’s shy. He likes you - I promise."
It felt odd at first when she deemed herself a matchmaker – Cloud and her shared an apartment, with two kids – Denzel and Marlene – she assured you they were strictly platonic and she’d love to see him without a scowl on his face. Apparently he was always interested when you were working, especially if you were on a closing shift. Now everyone was based in Edge, all sorts frequented the bar. You’d experienced the same in Wall Market and weren’t afraid to cut people off but it was nice to have some sort of muscle around in case anyone became a little out of line. You thought it was Tifa’s doing, as Cloud would always offer up his services on the nights you were responsible for closing, even walking you home afterwards. When you’d thank him, he’d shrug, saying not to think anything of it.
He was chivalrous, you’d reasoned, trying not to get your hopes up there was something more to it, until two nights ago when he’d lingered at the point he’d usually head off when you’d unlocked your front door.
“Wait.” You span round on your heels at the sound of his voice, surprised that he’d gone off routine. “Erm, would you… Would you like to have dinner tomorrow night? With me.”
“With you?” You’re stunned.
“Forget I said-“
“No, I’d love to.” You interrupted, worried you’d blown it.
“Okay. Great. Er, I’ll text you.” And Cloud had then strode off into the night before you could say another word.
He’d texted - you assumed he’d got your number off Tifa from her string of texts the next morning - saying he’d pick you up from yours at 7, that he’d got a table at a restaurant nearby. You’d walked past it a few times but never been, and it seemed a popular spot for first dates - intimate, yet not overly fancy. He’d arrived promptly, saying you looked "nice" and that’s where things had gone a little downhill. There was nothing that happened to really distinguish this as a date...
“He didn’t get within three feet of me at any time the walk there, or the walk back. I know he’s quiet, but besides asking me if the food was okay, he didn’t say much at all at dinner. And then, after he’d walked me home, I said I’d had a really nice time, trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, thinking he was nervous, you know?" Tifa nods. "But then he stepped forward, thanked me and clapped me on the shoulder, before he strode off.” You lay your head down on your arms. “It was a pity date, Tifa.”
“Okay, Cloud’s more hopeless than I thought,” she pats you gently on the head, “but it wasn’t a pity date. He set it all up because he wanted to take you out, I promise.”
“He could’ve swung that big sword of his all around him and not hit me, the distance he was keeping.” You continue talking into your arms, your voice muffled.
“I’ll talk to him.”
“No, don’t!" Your head shoots up, “That’ll make me look and feel even more pathetic. I don’t know what I was thinking. It’s a wake-up call.”
“You’re not pathetic. He’s just shy. Plus, I bet he’s feeling even worse than you are. He was out before I even woke up this morning.” She pauses, grinning slyly. “I did think that he might’ve stayed the night at yours…”
Your face flushes at that. “What?! No. He couldn’t get away from me fast enough.” The door opens and the two of you look, you praying it's not Cloud. "Delivery!" A man chirps. "Enough about my dismal love life, okay?" You get to your feet and go to take in the stock.
--
You got home that evening just after 6pm, preparing yourself for a quiet evening and an early night after the sleepless one before. It was surprising when there was a knock at the door an hour or so later – you weren’t expecting anyone. You looked through the eyehole and were nervous to see the tell-tale spikes of blonde hair, a nervous expression across Cloud’s face. Had Tifa spoken to him? Oh, Shiva…
You unlock the door, pulling it open cautiously.
“Hi.”
“Hi.” He smiles, a little awkwardly, but it’s sweet too. “Sorry, are you busy? I should’ve texted…”
“No, not at all.” You curse inwardly, you could’ve phrased that differently, sound more aloof. “What brings you here?”
“Uh, yeah…” It’s then you notice he has a hand behind his back. It’s quickly whipped out in front of you, holding a small, handpicked bouquet of pink, white and yellow flowers. “I wanted to give you these.”
“Cloud…” Your eyes widen, taking in the display. They’re the most beautiful things you’ve ever seen. “Thank you.” You accept them delicately, worried they might wilt instantly if you’re too rough with them.
“Would you like to go for a walk?”
“Sure. Let me just put these in water. Erm, do you want to come in?” You step back in anticipation.
“No, I’ll wait here.” He folds his arms.
“Oh, okay,” you nod. “I won’t be long.” You let the door swing close behind you, still holding the flowers so delicately. He delivers you hand-picked flowers but doesn’t want to come in? Is he breaking up with you? Can you break up even if you weren’t together in the first place? You grab a glass, filling it with water from the tap and placing the small bouquet in gently, before setting it down in the windowsill. You wonder if you’ll look at them in the same light when you return.
--
Edge, like its predecessor, had never been a pretty city in the desert. In the early evening though, fairy lights donned by the surrounding buildings cast a nice glow about the place and it was quiet as the two of you strolled through. Cloud hadn’t been the most talkative, as usual. Sometimes it looked like he wanted to say something, a comment on the tip of his tongue, but then his mouth would close and he’d nod to whatever nonsense you were spouting to fill the silence. It was at one of those moments when you hadn’t particularly been paying attention to where you were walking, catching your foot on an uneven part of the ground. You brace yourself for the impact and the embarrassment, but a hand grabs your own, yanking you back and upright, another hand on the small of your back – Cloud.
“You okay?” His brow is furrowed in concern. Your heart is thudding at the shock of tripping, or maybe the closeness of you two? It’s hard to tell.
“Y-yeah. Sorry, clumsy,” you know your face is red. “Thanks.” The hand from your back falls away, deeming your balance stable enough but your other hand isn’t released straightaway. You look down at the appendage in question, Cloud’s hand firmly clasped around yours. His eyes follow what you’re looking at and he seems to realise as his cheeks grow flush in the dim light of dusk, letting go abruptly.
“Do you even like me?” The question slips out of your mouth before you can even think what you’re saying. He looks almost startled by the directness of it.
“I thought the date and flowers made that obvious.”
“The flowers, okay, but the date and just now… Like, I know not everyone’s keen on public displays of affection, but you don’t even want to be within arm’s length of me…”
“I wouldn’t mind holding your hand. I guess.” It’s mumbled, his blue eyes directing at the ground.
“What?” You wonder if you misheard.
“I’d quite like to, to be honest. I’m just…” He meets your eyes at this point. “I haven’t really done this before.”
“That’s okay, neither have I.”
He looks sceptical. “That can’t be true.”
“I wasn’t exactly surrounded by gentlemen wanting to sweep me off my feet in Wall Market,” you smile. “Besides, it means we can try and work this stuff out together, if you want.” You hold your hand out, hoping he won’t notice the slight tremor.
To your relief, he takes it, deftly lacing his fingers through your own.
“I’d like that.”

i'm sorry you aren't able to pay for watcher's new service. it was a tough decision for me too - i'm unemployed right now and had to look at my savings and decide to skip on buying a few things - but in the end i chose to support them. there are fans sharing accounts and gifting subs. some people in the fandom want to help with solutions but you can't hear them over everyone blaming watcher for suddenly being in the 1% somehow?? (they're not) this is still in beta mode so we all need to take a breath and see what they announce after seeing the feedback. but watcher didn't ruin the economy and make it so hard for people to get welfare and help - you need to contact some government officials for that - not shane's wife
You are fundimentally missing the point. And why are you feeding a problem when they have clearly show they dont respect their fans with their silence, and their employees and spouses snide comments.
The watcher hate train that you think is clouding my thoughts simply isnt. I look at other fans to see if i my perception is more then just automatic frustration. And its not. I think alot. I get heated when i feel theres injustice. But i think through every single thing in this situation for flaws in my own logic because i know people like you will say i am blowing out of proportion. dont patronize me with those arguements.
Yeah governement stuff isnt their fault but they know where the world is. Or atleast they should and they are choosing to bleeding their fans dry. I never said they were the 1% but they are rich. Being rich doesnt automatically put you in the 1 percent but it does give you a leg up to being safe.
I took a breath. I took a whole breath today and lived my life on an extremely small trip on a train. To get free samples from an event with a discounted ticket. I bought a single nice thing that i wanted and for the first time in three days i didnt think about this shit show.
I wanted to support them but seeing as they dont care that they are making
1. A bad decision that everyone except people like you can see
2. Using a base platform that is notoriously unfriendly to creators
3. Didnt respect their fans enough to do market research and give us a finished product or a timeline for things moving forward
4. Act like they are drowning while they are on a yacht. And show that yacht to the people they kicked out of a lifeboat. Then blame us for needing to get a slightly smaller yacht. (This is an analogy)
Its not the same.
3 shows i like is not worth. 6 dollars.
I dont want Sara rubin's fucking help. I am saying she is showing the reality. That these people dont care. Its a common fact of todays world that very few youtubers actually care. That you giving them 6 dollars for a thing that has never worked in the long term unless years of effort and research is put into it. And you are on unemployment? I dont know.
You are the ones that dont see the reality.
But like i said in my post. I respect that humans can do whatever they want. I just think you should think and ask questions and when you dont get clear answers. Wonder why.
All of this mess is something you need to watch before you jump.
I simply chose to step away from the cliff because i saw sharks in the water.
EDIT: some parts in this feel unfinished. I am tired and working on very little sleep because of how my brain has chosen to process this situation. I wont update this post with corrections unless someone can give me a hard reason to.

Writer to writer, what program do you use? What are your thoughts on "cloud" type services? I ask because I use Word, but I'm at a point where I might change. My work is nothing to write home about, but I'm also hesitant to trust...basically anyone to store my thoughts. I'm basically a feral possum keen on guarding their trash, also on the market for a new garbage bin. Any suggestions?
I am the worst person to ask. I tend to be really reluctant to update to new technology, even when it is blatantly and obviously better. My phone is eight years old, if I use photoshop it's the 2007 version, and I'm still sad about getting a new laptop even though my old one was 10 years old and overheating every couple of hours.
For choicescript projects I use CSIDE. You can download it for free and it makes the experience of writing and coding choicescript so much nicer.
For prose, I still use word, and only VERY recently (when I got the new laptop) started backing up my work on a share drive.
For Ren'py, I use whatever the default thing for Ren'py is. It's not my favourite, mostly due to the lack of an inbuilt spell checker, but it's also just not quite as sleek and sexy looking as CSIDE.
When it comes to trusting clouds and/or organisations to store your writing... I don't have any good advice. If you're worried, you can save all files locally and email yourself a draft as a backup (2001 style).
I'm sure a young person is now judging me for my technological backwardness, so I'm going to stop this here. I hope you find the garbage bin you're looking for, anon.
💙
