"Canstruction" project by my art club from last year! We tried to recreate famous artists' self portraits. First is Vincent Van Gogh's 'Self-Portrait', second is Frida Kahlo's 'Self Portrait Dedicated to Dr Eloesser' (English translation), and third is Gustave Courbet's 'The Desperate Man'
We created a three-sided structure that curved inwards to display these three artworks as one, which sadly fell to the ground before the judging which caused us to earn third place.
At the end of the project/competition all canned goods purchased by those that competed were given to local food pantries.
