I did a Article Not to Long ago that referred to “I wish I was them” and this is almost a different take on that article.

Last Night I watched two Movies Back to back. “Maid in Manhattan” and “Beyond the Lights”

Simply put

Maid in Manhattan is about a Normal woman for brief moment she got the attention of someone that she never would have even been scene by had she not been in the right place at the right time the person had power and money and the person was interested in her and she was pore inner city woman that just worked at the hotel but for one moment he had her attention she had his and for the first time she wanted better for herself and felt she deserved it

Beyond the lights is about a up and coming Musician that everyone owned her and everyone was out to get there own thing from her grabbing at her pushing her and trying to fit her into there box and she rebelled after a attempted to get attention she meets someone that finally sees her for who she is beyond the persona everyone that created for her and she wanted them for it and that person wanted her for her without all the bells and whistles he wasn’t going to be him and allow her to be her persona with him she found herself again in the process.   

Which Brings me to my point.

A celebrity wants to disappear and regular person wants to be seen as special. I have watched a lot of celebrities and the ones that are honest will tell you when they walk off the stage 9 times out of ten they want to date or marry someone that has NOTHING to do with the spotlight. That is there complete opposite so that that they can disappear when they are with them.

Some celebrities won’t even date people that don’t know who they are because they can be themselves there real selves the person that they are when the lights are turned off with this person and they know they are safe it won’t become a international incident because the person they are with sees the person not the persona. But if the person knows who they are on stage and in the lights if they are in there private space and private world there person habits aren’t under scrutiny and they don’t feel like they are under scrutiny. That’s why I will say it again that a lot of the time you will see the FINEST sexiest man or woman with the nerdy plain Joe or Jane. Because THAT person connects with there Person not there persona.

And the person that lives there everyday life that is talented goal oriented but doesn’t have a door way to break free. And a lot of people that are everyday mundane 9 to 5 people aren’t going to get the opportunity to talk to congressman or celebrates be in that atmosphere. But you see I have had the opportunity to be in rooms with Millionaires and football greats States Atteronies.

The normal person just wants to touch it and go back to normal touch it and go back to e themselves. You see a normal person though they have dreams goals and aspirations they want someone to see and understand that they are smart intelligent and have a voice and have someone to not only pay attention to them but to want to see the best come out of them.

But what happens when a person gets the operertunity to be able to meet someone of stature and that person is in to them lets say a guy to a female and she catches his attention she gets to spends time with him and he sees her. And she tells him all her dreams all her aspirations all her secrets all her hidden talents and he has the power to help her bring those things to the for front.

But what does the normal person do when what they did in private for fun as a blog or as something that they just read and had a opinion on that when they got in big rooms they had to opportunities to talk to people but that place was safe they knew they were being heard but they we’re being pushed past comfort.

But what happens when you are what happens when the creator who hid all there talents and skills or the pushed all there works and talent on a website that they managed and no one ever saw there face no one ever really knew who they were. But they get connected to this person of people and tell that person and that person starts to help them turn there hidden thing into public thing.

They are okay behind the computer scream, even in the studio as long as they are in the creative process, but what happens when contracts are signed and it goes from contracts to PUBLIC appearances  where people see there face. And the pressure sets in when camera's are flashing and they no longer have there anonymity and this is when the rebel comes out and it fights to do something against that Grain wild and crazy just to find release.

That is what you see happen in Beyond the lights” because the person became famous and she couldn’t handle the pressure of being scene grabbed on and now people want her but all for the wrong reasons. And what happens in a lot of situation is you have a panic attack and want to retreat to place that you can’t be seen or heard and can’t find that place again.

Which brings me to the realization when you look back at those celebrates that marry the normal girl or guy. That normal girl just wanted to feel special and be seen, while the celebrity guy or girl just wanted to feel invisible they can be invisible with thee spouse and the plan Jane can feel like the celebrity and where love is involved. There is safety net for them both they know the other person has them.

When the normal Girl wants to feel special but has a voice that the world needs to hear they are paired up with a celebrity that is perfect for them, they weren’t looking for it they never desired it but that celebrity has the clout and the pull to pull them into a world that is able to take what they have and build it into something with the protection and cover of having been a celebrity or public figure and they know how to lead them through all the pit falls that they might have gone through had they done it alone.

The celebrity gives them again I say a safety need they feel safe walking into the rooms and arenas they never would have walked in before with boldness because they know at least one person has there back and when they want to retreat they back tight into that person arms and that person keeps them calm and cautiously pushes them back out there where they need to be. And on the flip side when they get to where they need to go they are thankful because they got someplace they never could have gotten alone.

But the celebrity on the flip side has the confidents that they can confide there own person experiences fears issues in that person and they feel safe, they know that they don’t have to worry about being hurt because they feel safe that this person because of there apprehension to the spotlight they know that they can open themselves up and dig deeper into parts of themselves because when they are lone with that person they can forget who they are and just be.

It’s a dichotomy

And the moral is… everyone wants to feel safe loved and know that in this small little space with this one person that they see watch others heart and in that space are protected and loved which allows them both to be free to be who they really are and run for the things they really want without fear because in that place in that space with that person… they are TRULY FREE
