Rowoon's👏🏽acting👏🏽in👏🏽that👏🏽scene👏🏽with👏🏽his👏🏽father👏🏽 I feel like at this point, Rowoon is iconically known to play the nice guy, but for the first time ever while watching him on screen, I was legitimately scared. The way he slowly looked up from the ground to his father's eyes while saying that if his father were to kill Dami, he'd have to kill him first brought literal chills to my spine. I've never doubted Rowoon's talent because he always delivers, but recently he's said that he'd like to challenge himself to play characters that aren't so nice and more on the bad side...and well, I doubted. I thought to myself, "Sweet Woonie? That precious boy with the cute dopey smile playing a bad guy? Nahhhh, that's not for him." Well. I was proved wrong tonight. For a quick second, I pictured a scenario in which Ji-un's father did try to endanger Dami and I feared for his life at what Ji-un might do to him. Acting aside though – I won't go into too much detail because I feel like there's a surplus of nominations for Ji-un's father being Dad of the Year, but WOW. He really sucks. Ji-un looked simultaneously so heartbroken and angry while talking to him, not just because he's done terrible things to the woman he loves, but also he's just so saddened at the fact that the caring father he once loved was capable of these terrible things and there's likely more crimes that he doesn't even know about.
