Hi! I’m Lauren (she/they), a singer, writer, actor, artist, and massive nerd. Currently violently hyperfixated on Good Omens and all things David Tennant. Musical bit from the Nye cinema screening tonight. Excuse the quality and the angle. Just had to share for some friends who I hope see it in full soon :)
"I witnessed things that were wrong," she said of her visit. "I saw Arabs being thrown out of their houses in Jerusalem. But it was just the extraordinary magical energy of a country just beginning to put its roots in the ground . it was amazing time to be here
TWO HOURS AGO: an incredible photo taken by a ut austin student capturing something deeply poetic in my opinion, a line of state troopers eagerly waiting to arrest student protesters standing just behind a sign that reads "what starts here changes the world. its starts with you and what you do each day."
I JUST DISCOVERED CROWLEY’S LAMENT AND I’M IN SHOCK. to be honest i saw that it was a fan song and thought it was gonna be really bad but oh my god (did i just say oh my god? what the heaven’s wrong with me?!) it’s so good. the emotion you’re able to communicate in your voice and songwriting is incredible. i felt all of the rises and falls in emotion and it was perfect. and your lyrics are amazing! you should be so proud of it. i’m in awe!!
by the way, you’ve probably answered this somewhere but are you planning to write any more songs for good omens??
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Always good to know I’ve exceeded people’s expectations. Currently the answer is no, but honestly? Never say never! My writing partner Fiona wrote a very VERY good Aziraphale song of a similar nature though, so I hope that gets to be heard one day too!
When I asked for art for Crowley’s Lament, @cosmic-crafts was kind enough to send me this gorgeous thumbnail for free! Even though it wasn’t the version I ended up choosing; it was so lovely that I still wanted to share it with all of you. The Alpha Centauri in the background is such a beautiful touch!
(it's a redraw of a redraw! originals under the cut ^__^)
first redraw is from 2020 :] the original is from a studio bones artists' exhibition iirc! this time i wanted to give riza an outfit i like personally instead of drawing the same as the original ^__^
platforming palestinian joy is just as important as sharing the suffering they're enduring during this genocide. despite continued displacement and bombardment, you cannot steal their joy and spirit. happy birthday to this sweet baby 🖤🇸 may they grow up to see a free palestine
