In Sept 11, 2019, I created this body of work as I felt a rush of energy process through me recalling the past. My time in New York was when they were rebuilding the new towers but I remember what it felt like the day everything came down and we watched it all happen in our Highschool Auditorium. I never forgot that moment, and would go to the memorial sight often when I lived in NY. It wasn’t far from where I lived then and the impact was so profound. My heart goes out to everyone that was there, that lost a mother, father, daughter, son, sister, brother, uncle, aunt, friend and so much more. For the one who leaves a single white rose on the name of your person… I see it there everytime I go back and so I whisper loving thoughts and intentions for you and all who were impacted by this event. Next stages revealing the truth about this piece. #lifeisgood 🥰 I’ve felt called to use dye in my work for quite some time. I worked on a few pieces a couple summers ago that had all acrylic to create a tie dye effect and I adored what I found amongst that magic. After discovering the next level of my work, I decided to implement that view a piece at a time, as this sacred path is being manifested for a very close friend of mine. Honoured to be in the presence of the divine, as she continues to journey. Meeting her was such a blessing, and it happened at a time when things needed shifting. For me, I swept myself off to the jungle to answer a calling. Having no idea that in a few years my life would turn into something I’ve always wanted. I feel grateful every morning that I get to wake up and create in such a sacred space. This next piece of light language coming in, is transcribed for one of the best.
