#Buffy was never in love with Sp*ke in season 5 6 or 7

Just saw a post where someone said that Buffy is an unreliable narrator because of all the times she said she doesn't love Sp*ke, since the one (1) line in season 7 "why does everyone in this house think I'm still in love with Sp*ke?" makes it indisputably canon that she has loved him since maybe season 5, definitely season 6, and this is clearly her finally admitting it after having lied to herself about it for seasons....
Honestly, the level of delusion it takes to get to this conclusion is truly impressive, because not only was that not even the original line/intention from the script (the original being "why does everyone in this house think I'm in love with Sp*ke?") but the way some people will watch the show Buffy the Vampire Slayer for 6.5 seasons where this woman has repeatedly and consistently and violently said that she DOES NOT love Sp*ke's crusty ass, and then dismiss all of that based of of one line that wasn't even meant to have that one extra word that has fuelled rabid delusions for 20+ years in this cursed fandom.
and then to make matters even funnier, these same people will turn around and twist the line "I loved him more than I will ever love anything in this life" (Buffy re: Angel in S7) into "she meant before, she doesn't love him now, it's so out of character.", ignoring the part where she says "MORE THAN ANYTHING IN THIS LIFE", which means more than she's ever, has ever and will ever love anything in her life, something she has repeated at least once a season for 7 seasons straight..........like, not only are you all delusion, but you also apparently have extremely poor reading comprehension skills.

Season 6 and 7 were such a mess and tbh maybe the show would've been best ending after season 5, despite the fact that season six has some of my favorite episodes. But the more I watch the show, the more the characters I begin to dislike and it's to the point where I only love like Buffy, Tara, Dawn, Giles, and Joyce (I like others but there's too many problems with them, like season 7 made me dislike Willow and I hate that cause she was my favorite up till that point)
Ahh I disagree! Although I think The Gift is a fantastic episode and definitely in the top 10 strongest episodes of the series, I wouldn’t have wanted the show to end with Buffy’s death. I liked the final season’s big bad going after the slayer line, and I liked that Buffy was no longer fighting evil, but fighting the source of evil. That’s some next level shit! I also love how Buffy destroys the “one girl in all the world” because a common theme in the show is loneliness and being alone. And now the pressure doesn’t fall on just her shoulders, she can have some semblance of a life. It’s what she deserves after the stunt her friends pulled. I do understand why they’d think she was in a hell dimension tho, considering how she died and that’s what happened to Angel. I do think season 6 is the weakest and a lot of the characters become almost unrecognizable, but there are strengths in the season, too. I think season 7 was definitely better overall though because despite the evil being bigger and badder, Buffy is in a MUCH better place. She’s regained her confidence, she’s come to terms with who she is and being brought back to life, and she stopped ******* sp*ke. Even tho what they do with her relationship with him in season 7 is literally nonsensical, harmful and not?? accurate?? i prefer it to season 6 bc Buffy’s in a better place and at least I don’t have to watch them ****. Giles annoys me in the later seasons and I know they made him leave in season 6 bc Anthony Stewart Head wanted to pull back from the show, but I never forgive him for leaving Buffy alone when she was at her most vulnerable. I don’t have too much of a problem with Willow but I absolutely hated the addiction story line… Dreadful, terrible. Bad. Not sure what about Willow bothers you in season 7? Is it her relationship with Kennedy? Joyce is a queen. Love her! Tara? A saint, literally. Dawn? Never got over her kicking Buffy out of her own house saying “it’s my house, too” when she hasn’t paid any of the bills and oh yeah remember when Buffy DIED for her??? Yeah… I still kinda like Dawn though but I will never get over that scene where she kicks her out. Also I know she’s only like 16 in season 7 so she shouldn’t pay for the bills but it’s just the way she says “it’s my house too” and the fact that the financial burden in season 6 is 100% solely placed on Buffy when Tara, Willow AND Dawn also lived in that house.
ask me stuff pls
