Des soldats du Chinar Corps de l'armée indienne ont secouru une femme âgée, qui souffrait beaucoup, d'un village isolé du Jammu-et-Cachemire sur la ligne de contrôle (LoC), au milieu de fortes chutes de neige.
Selon un communiqué officiel, les soldats ont traversé des chutes de neige vendredi matin pour rejoindre la femme et l'emmener à l'hôpital.
« Aux petites heures du matin du 20 janvier, le détachement de l'armée indienne à Paro a répondu de manière proactive à un appel de détresse de Mir Mohd, un habitant du village isolé de Jabri, qui cherchait désespérément à faire évacuer sa femme de 80 ans souffrant d'une forte fièvre, de vomissements. et des douleurs abdominales", a déclaré l'armée dans un communiqué.
"Les guerriers du Chinar Corps de l'armée indienne ont procédé à une évacuation d'urgence rapide de la dame âgée malade, Sardar Beewa, épouse de Mir Mohd, du village de Jabri vers le centre de soins de santé primaires (PHC) de Boniyar, aux petites heures du matin vendredi", ajoute le communiqué. .
"Les guerriers audacieux et désintéressés du Chinar Corps ont marché dans la neige jusqu'aux genoux et ont atteint la maison de la dame malade. Les guerriers ont porté la vieille dame sur leur dos, pour minimiser les blessures au patient, en raison de la nature montagneuse des pistes, la pente raide pente impliquée et les fortes chutes de neige », a-t-il ajouté.
En arrivant à Paro, la femme âgée a été rapidement transférée dans une ambulance qui l'attendait qui l'a emmenée au PHC, Boniyar, a informé l'armée.
"Les villageois locaux ont apprécié la réponse rapide du détachement de Paro de l'armée indienne et ont loué leurs efforts courageux et humains envers la population locale", ajoute le communiqué.
