i know youre not a studyblr but as a senior can you please give any suggestions on managing 12th boards and competitive exams (im a jee aspirant but i still wanna know how you managed it all) hope its not a bother!
hiii sure!! feel free to reach out whenever, im happy to help <33
okay so. what i suggest you do (assuming you'll be starting 11th this year):
1. Enter 11th std. Don't get intimidated by others. Stay focused on understanding the concepts of all chapters, school exams toh derivations and formulas rattkar bhi ho jayenge. Clear concepts now rather than saving it for 'later'.
2. Practice all PYQs and whatever questions you get for maths. You can only do maths with practice × 100000. It's honestly quite tough, or it's too lengthy.
3. Fully strengthen the 'easier chapters' NOW. Own the knowledge like you made the concept.
4. Enter 12th. Let go of 11th from april-september and fully finish 12th std as soon as possible. Cover all concepts (I believe physics in 12th is relatively easier) and learn all formulas by your midterm exam time at school.
5. USE YOUR SUMMER VACATIONS WELL. COVER ALL BACKLOGS THEN AND THERE. (I regret procrastinating soo much 😭)
6. Just revise 12th entirely and focus on PYQs during October.
7. Nov-Dec go through 11th std again thoroughly, don't take too much stress for preboard cause hopefully you've prepared for 12th strong enough already. Don't take preboard marks to heart!!
8. January, do only and only JEE PYQs and cover whatever backlogs you have. Physics formulas must be learn to the heart. Understand organic chemistry basics very very well, cause it will help predict complex product formations too even if you don't remember the actual reaction!! Maths again, only practice or God can save you 💀 (I'm sorry I'm really scared of maths so maybe this is a biased reply!)
9. Now you'll have board practicals likely in Jan end or Feb only, just make sure your file is complete and you know the basic procedure of experiments. Don't stress too much about viva, usually your own teachers will help you through it!! Focus on practicals as it helps with conceptual JEE Qs too!!
10. Now simply focus on learning derivations and long answer type questions for upcoming boards. You've done enough for JEE and it's time to strength subjective answers. Focus only on cbse board PYQs and again, don't stress too much. Be confident you've worked so hard!!
11. Now the April attempt. Again start focusing on 11th at least 2 weeks before your JEE date. Revise 11th very well.
12. Lastly, solve sample papers only. During the last 3 days I recommend not studying. Only sample papers. With full syllabus. No chapter-wise or topic-wise. But yes if you still don't have concepts cleared, definitely do that asap. Still try to be fully prepared 3 days before the actual exam!!
That's all <33 I made it as detailed as possible for anyone to refer to. Set a goal and follow through guys!! I know it's super hard and yeah 11th mein vo feeling nahi aati, but trust me, if you can push yourself hard in 11th, you won't have to worry too much for the April attempt for sureeee.
All the best <33

heyy, first of all i wanna say that i love your blog. im preparing for neet 2024. please give me some tips on how to improve physics and chemistry. like how do you study, online, by making short notes, which study module?? like whats your timetable usually or brfore a test. thank you soo muchhh!!!!
Thank you so much!
Physics is all about concept clarity and how easily you can manipulate formulae. It takes practice so that's the easiest and most foolproof method I could recommend.
Chemistry... I myself am finding it an winding road slowly edging upwards. Organic, Physical and Inorganic Chemistry is all in-and-out NCERT. Line by line. I am not exaggerating in the slightest. Do the sums behind, the intext questions, the open-ended questions that NCERT asks, exemplar, lab manual. Literally all of it. Try mixing and matching with the PYQs to get an idea of the hot-zones and the areas that they could try making a question from this year.
I used to study from youtube and took digital coaching in my first year. Don't know how much that helped. But it did increase my screen time.
I made short notes after I was done with a particular chapter, so that I knew where the questions were made from and how they could be formed. Some years are v imp while others might not seem, some may be derived etc. They're not aesthetic or neat but I think that's ok.
Before a test, I go through the chapters, usually sticking to NCERT and my notes because it's familiar territory. My timetable is pretty flexible but that's because of my adhd, I don't think I can be productive with a self-imposed rigid schedule. Everyone works differently and the process to cracking a way that works for you is trial and error.
Wishing you all the best for your attempt! Keep studying and practicing💛

On a scale of 1-60, how prepared are you for your chemistry board exam?
I have em too and I am not prepared at all, I haven't even completed my syllabus!
My preparation is like 10 (1-60) 🪦
if i divide the scale by 10 chapters and score it according to how confident i am per chapter then it'll be 6 points per chapter, so
my prep is at maybe 20-25 🤡
i honestly do not know shit about organic im just barely done with 2 organic chapters i havent even touched the last 2 and i dont count biomolecules in organic bcz thats the love of my life so to be honest organic in itself will probably take away half my marks :) im doing some pyqs and brushing up on what i do know but idk chem has always been my lowest scoring subject so i know it won't be good
i hope we'll be fine, best of luck <3

What is the best way to study organic chemistry for IIT JEE?
The best way to study organic chemistry is to learn from NCERT books.
Don’t mug up all the reactions and topics, look for PYQs and leave the topics never asked.
Make a one-page summary of all the reactions to memorize easily.
Try to understand the concepts and reactions and don’t just simply mug up.
Don’t believe others when they say organic chemistry is difficult. Believe in yourself and work hard.

Roadmap For NEET Preparation
Many students aspire to be doctors but are unsure how to pass the NEET. They have a lot of queries and misconceptions about the NEET exam and preparation. You can get answers to your questions from the Best NEET coaching in Bangalore, DR Academy.
For NEET preparation, you will need good coaching, good materials, concept development, MCQ practice, mock tests, and, most importantly, a competent mentor who will help you throughout the process.
NEET applicants should avoid studying at random and have a proper study strategy. Many students are unsure whether they should prepare for NEET with or without school; most students who study without school pass NEET as freshmen, while those who do not have to drop out. Mentoring from Best coaching for NEET in Bangalore, Due to their good coaching, students pass the NEET earlier.
For resources, students should use NCERT for physics, chemistry, and biology. Refresher courses in theory are not recommended because they will make you confused. You will receive books from your coach for MCQ and PYQ practice questions. The books and notes offered by Best Coaching for NEET in Bangalore & Hyderabad are the most significant because they have so much experience in this sector; instead of following random book recommendations from people, which will divert your attention. Students believe it will be simpler for them to learn from professors' or toppers' notes as they won't have to prepare their own notes; furthermore, if they must, it is a waste of their time. They should know that note making is not a waste of time but an investment to conceptually hold on to a topic.
Students first believe they need to know everything in-depth to pass the NEET exam, but this is a complete waste of time. Because the NEET syllabus is vast, you cannot study everything in depth because it is irrelevant for exams and will cause you to backlog. However, there will be some topics that will require you to study from scratch to depth in order to clear your basics, and these will be taught by teachers in coaching because they are relevant. Limited and relevant knowledge is all you need to pass NEET.
Some students believe that because they are good at biology, it will be easy for them to get full marks in biology, so they will place a lesser priority on the remaining two subjects. However, this is a fallacy; in order to pass the NEET exam, you must excel in all three subjects. For beginners, they should define topic-specific goals, learn theory, and solve MCQs and PYQs (previous year questions) based on those goals. They should not study subject by subject at first, but rather start with topics from subjects they have learned in coaching. Later, they should cover two subjects per day while managing current topics and revising. Selection in NEET is impossible without review; you must revise all you have learned or studied on a daily or weekly basis. Everything must be completed in accordance with your schedule, you must work hard and smartly at the same time.

For both GAT-B and IIT JAM, i got to know from my professors. Had no idea about the exam or it's benefits. I didn't know about TIFR or any other exam so didn't attempt. But since I was badly idle during the lockdown and almost had the idea to be with the crowd, to get married. So inorder to distract myself, i started preparing somewhere around September 2021. Till December, i sorted the question papers by knowing from the professors which question belongs to what Unit.
I picked up only past 5 years questions and analysed the physics and mathematics part. I got 90% confidence to leave physics completely because PYQs were far from my reach even though I had been revising my physics concepts regularly. It would have wasted my time.
Coming to Mathematics, it was evident from the questions that majority were upto class 10th level and from +2 portions, only statistics, probability and trigonometry looked important to me. I was a crammer and highly laborious student at school so it was not difficult for me to recall these portions. I only prepared this much in mathematics and attempted all the questions correctly in the exam. (Note: I didn't have maths as a subject in my +2)
Chemistry, i love this subject. My highest scores ever are in this subject yet i betrayed myself by not taking it up in my graduation. Anyways, i loved organic chemistry more than physical and inorganic. In the PYQs i analysed, they're asking more of organic chemistry and from physical chemistry, only Chemical kinetics part. So inorganic chemistry can be left blindly.
Biology, 12+1+2+3, i.e upto graduation level is required. I was lacking badly in my graduation level biology so i analysed the paper and prepared for only specific units like Recombinant DNA technology, microbiology, biotechniques, biochemistry (only Enzyme and kinetics) and basic immunology. (I later covered some more topics but gave more emphasis on these topics)
I had completely restricted myself to study the least. From my previous experiences of competitive exams i had realised that i should focus on minimum input and maximum output. So i was determined to prepare less but more efficiently. Only when I was done with the targeted portions i would try to touch other topics.
I created an MS Excel sheet to keep a check on my revision cycle for each topic.(I'll share on my stories someday, have to search for it) I did all this preparation only in my free time. Nothing like serious dedications. Making life easy away from the unnecessary stress about competition.
Rest was Allah's Miracle.
Find your own strategy, yourself.
All the best.
:)

Hii!
I'm also a fellow neet 2024 student, just wanted to know how do you revise a chapter when it's done? For phy chem or bio
( it's okay if you can't answer if ur on a time crunch though)
Btw your blog is really motivating! Have a nice day ✨
Hey!
I try my best to answer as soon as I can, nice to receive your ask!
I revise chemistry from pyqs marked in my textbook linewise and go through my short notes/class notes.
For physics I refer my short notes book as it's a pretty good go-through for the chapter.
I revise biology by the textbook, or using short notes. I mostly revise the textbook because of marked pyqs.
I'm happy that this blog coincides with the good thoughts for you! All the very best for your preparation, my ask box and messages are always open for more academic talks💛

NEET Study Materials
Study material is the base of NEET preparation. Only, effective study material can give you good results. There are different study materials available online as well as offline. NCERT is always the best study material for the NEET examination, but depending on NCERT alone won’t help you to gain a good rank in the NEET examination.
How can a NEET aspirant choose a better study material, is still a common question in different online platforms and student forums. We will suggest some tips to choose a better study material for the preparation of your NEET examination.
Tips to choose a better study material
The study material you choose for NEET should have a well defined and simplified explanation for each concept. So that you can easily understand the topic in less time.

The competition for the NEET examination increases each year so the candidates.
Vast Syllabus –  NEET aspirants are often seen struggling with the vastness of the syllabus. Class 11th & Class 12th syllabus are combined together in the NEET examinations and this is a huge content to work on but if dealt with properly it can yield you good results.
Time management – Time management is the most vital part of attending an examination like NEET. NEET has 200 questions out of which 180 needs to be attended and a total of 180 minutes to complete the whole exam. That means the time limit for one question is 1 minute and this is the biggest challenge you are going to face for the NEET examination.
Pressure and Stress – The pressure from the family side is another challenge the NEET aspirants are going to face. There are high chances for your parents to question you regarding the preparation techniques or the study time you follow. That can lead you into tension. What after NEET?
The results of the NEET examination will be announced one month after the examination and by that time you will be so normal and relaxed. Sleepless preparation won’t be there, No stressed-out evenings, you will slowly forget the exam fear, the tensions you have undergone etc. Life will be normal as before. Let’s see some common activities usually the candidates do after the NEET exam. Before the results Soon after the NEET examination ends, candidates must check the answer keys from available sources and validate their performance
Candidates should calculate their NEET score and try to predict their rank and based on previous year NEET admission trends, they would be able to realise which medical college or dental college they are going to get into.
After the NEET results
Have you ever thought about this? Imagine that you had put up a lot of hard work and as a result, you have cracked the NEET examination.  Your parents, family, all your friends, your teachers and everyone who knows you personally will be happy about you, right? Do you know what will be the next step after these celebrations, happiness and all?
Apply for counselling process After the results, most of the candidates will be confused about the further steps. There are counselling processes conducted by different bodies to help the NEET winners to conduct admission procedures. These counselling sections are not led by NTA. The role of NTA is so limited to conduct examinations and publish the results. There are three types of counselling a) AIQ or All India Quota  All central and deemed universities such as  AIIMS, BHU, etc along with 15 per cent seats of all government medical and dental colleges seats will be filled under this process. The exception to this is only the state of Jammu Kashmir and admissions to the colleges in Jammu Kashmir comes under state quota counselling. AIQ counselling will be conducted by MCC  (Medical Counselling Committee). b) State Quota counselling This is for the admission to the remaining 85% of government college seats and the private college seats will also be filled with this. The state quota seats are reserved to candidates who belong to that particular state and the candidates from other states are not eligible to participate in this counselling process. The State Quota Counselling will be conducted by the representative of the state government C) Ayush Counselling           Counselling for Ayush courses will be conducted by  AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC). They will carry out the process of admission for all the Ayush colleges in India including the deemed universities and the 15% of Government, Government aided, Central, Private and National colleges.
What if you are unable to qualify?
If you are very determined to hold a medical degree, do not mind giving another year. Start your preparation from the very next day. Work hard with a dedicated mind, hard work will never go in vain. Realise the mistakes you made last time and try not to repeat them. A perfect human will learn from his mistakes and he will yield success from that learning.
If you are not interested in giving up one year, you have plenty of options to pick. There are many types of courses, which includes paramedical careers like Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing etc. You can choose a better course, a better college and spend your college life happily.
Dear Students, Always note, NEET is not the end of your career or life. This world is full of opportunities. If not NEET you will have other lakhs and lakhs of choices to pick from. Always keep in mind that “A man becomes successful by his character not by his career”.  Greetings Basidia

these days felt like a fever dream, a vague memory of me just getting up mindlessly and doing amount of multiple choice questions I've lost count of.
✳️went through a lot of chemistry and biology questions
✳️bio PYQs
✳️revised 11th botany
✳️100 practice questions of physics
✳️answered a mock and analysed it
✳️revised p block
Honestly, I'm okay with doing what I can do rn even tho I wish I could more. I've seen pushing myself off limits always leads me getting physically unwell and that's the last thing I would want to do a week before the exam. I don't feel happy, neither sad it's just a void right here that I'm hoping to fill through accomplishing my goal.
all the best everyone who's working hard, we've got this.
