Jason Todd, Black Lightning, and Katana will have to put aside their differences to save Batman’s legacy –and with it, the world. source
I'm excited for this series because Jason and Tatsu could have a really interesting dynamic (please convince him to use swords? Please?) But may I just say, WHERE is Duke. Duke is an Outsider! Give me him!!!!

B:LOG 5 [Bakit Masakit Marinig Ang Mga Salitang Hindi Mo Inaasahan Pero Matagal Mo Nang Inaasam Marinig?]

B:LOG 2 [Old College Lit | The Unclear Connection Of Rizal's Heroism To People's Opposition To The Former Dictator's Burial Issue]
Trigger Warning !!! This essay was originally a weekly quiz(?) paper passed for our course subject: Life & Works of Rizal. All details were already edited technically but the thought is still the same. Statements in this paper were only from my own observation and not intended to attack any parties mentioned below. Filipinos are very aware of what has currently happened around the country ever since Mr. Rodrigo Duterte claimed his throne as the current President of the Philippines. Some people are throwing fit when they have learned about his decision to put Mr. Ferndinand Marcos at the Libingan ng Mga Bayani (Heroes' Cemetery.) People tried comparing the past, referring to how our heroes defended our country- Luna, Mabini, Aguinaldo and Rizal, to name some of them and how the former dictator treated the Philippines like what with most recent history books have written. While weighing all comparisons, most are against putting the said deceased dictator president in the cemetery for heroes.
As we go back in time, one of the renowned heroes of the Philippines, Jose Rizal, started to make his privilege and advantage to gain knowledge and have gathered people whose mission was the same as him- to save Filipinos from the maltreatments of the Spanish friars. Even if he originally studied medicine for his mother, Rizal also was interested in letters and arts; he even learned several languages and gathered connections in different parts of the world after he finished his studies.
In short, Rizal planned to make a bloodless revolution by using his intellects writing meaningful kinds of literature, opening the eyes of the Filipino people and taught them to be courageous in claiming what is rightfully theirs in the first place. Although he wasn't able to continue, what he instilled within the hearts of our countrymen happened to be the key to continue the fight until they succeed.
The point here is that using a non-violent way to save our country is what makes our heroes outstanding. Many may have died in the war in most gruesome ways, but as we advance to the future, what marked the Filipinos was the compassion that was absent during the time of the former dictator's governing presence. The stand of most of our countrymen was not only about Marcos' dictatorship but of his frightening deeds that changed the lives of the country.
As people were shocked by the current situation, most of us are anxious, thinking that these unasked decisions were dangerous. Knowing how the EJK has affected the people, we are not fighting for freedom anymore but the real meaning of justice and humanity. We want unmedicated drugs and corruption to vanish. But because of the due-less process, people die without explanations, the reason why people opposes every unjustifiable decision the current administration is making.
As we visualize the similarities of the past to what we currently are, we can differentiate that no matter how minor our voice may look, like how Jose Rizal had been before now, we are courageous and knowledgeable more than ever. We may not be able to do what the mentioned hero has done, but we can be more and do more as long as we are willing. Through the technologies available, we can open the eyes of humanity without violence like what our hero did for what lives we have now. B:LOG 4 [Old College Lit | Rizal Is The Revolution]
Trigger Warning !!!
This essay was originally a weekly quiz(?) paper passed for our course subject: Life & Works of Rizal. All details were already edited technically but the thought is still the same. Statements in this paper were only from my own observation and not intended to attack any parties mentioned below.
We never know what kind of future is ahead of us. Chaos is present in every nation. And the people who harm humanity is within us- those who wanted to gain power and authority to rule. But believe me, the majority are still the ones who will win, especially that the generation right now knows how things work and fight back, just like how we spread and unite as we connect digitally.
Like how Rizal changes the Filipinos, with his pen and paper, with every sacrifice he made, look where we are now. Putting down his pride in exchange for building blocks for his valuable goal, we can see that determination put him through to reach it. The stories of his humility, him leaving his riches and risk being out some places he is not familiar, put us through together. Rizal is like the epitome of balance; he knows that he is not perfect yet knows how to use his resources well.
Comparing it to the modern world, we try as much to globally connect because we have a need- a community that can lead to the betterment of our world, the ones with a humane purpose. We are still thriving, but every movement is progress, success and achievement.
As we express ourselves, the more we are less oppressed, the more we empower others and the rest. We are still in the process of making our allies tighter, making mistakes and still learning continuously, but soon, hopefully, peace will prevail in every nation. It may be slow, but it will be a sure win. For the original file, you may look at the link below: [El Socmed Tangere]
