I had the thought of a zombie AU / real world AU for PACE

More info under the cut

lore for this is just: magic suddenly disappeared from the world ages ago, so magic etc was just a thing of fairy tales bc no actual evidence of it exists currently. But one day some guy did a necromancy spell and brought the dead back to life causing zombies, but also magic to be put back in the world little by little. 

Some people have a better affinity for magic (like Ava) and others don't.

Slowly over time more people get magic, PACE get stuff that kind of match what they are like in the rwby universe. Also more and more monsters and stuff

PACE get to be a group bc they were together doing a group project in a class together when the whole zombie thing starts.

Also zombies work different in this AU bc I hate zombies with all my heart. People don’t get infected, so scratches and bite are cool but you know, regular infections are still a thing, but if you are killed by one you become one, and zombies decay if they don't feed. So if one doesn't eat enough it will just decompose.

I have vague ideas for my other two rwby teams SFLR and FLUX

At some point all the groups come together and live in a nice little place. If there was a story for this it would just be how to deal with the shocking new and very different world they find themselves in.
