Looking back at his past, Sebastian would've likely scoffed at his own beginnings, rolling his eyes and commented at the cliché that he'd been living. The bird in a golden cage. Born to upper-class, conservative parents, he'd been raised in luxury, owning just about any material possession a child could've asked for, receiving the best education money could afford. Private teachers, nannies, even event planners to organize his birthday parties... Sebastian had grown used quickly to receiving attention from just about anybody, with the exception of his own parents of course. It was almost ridiculous how well the pair fit the mold of rich, conservative upper-class elitists, throwing money at all of their problems, treating their son more like a status symbol than showing any true care. At the very least, that's how Sebastian experienced his childhood; from his perspective, his parents seemed distant and cold, strangers more than family. Of course, that also made it easier to distance himself further from them.

His life was comfortable, yet stale, and as he grew into his teenage years, Sebastian began to resent the mold his parents tried to press him into. He could have anything he craved, and yet instead began to seek out the things that seemed out of reach, forbidden. He revolted, sneaking into clubs way before he hit the legal age, drinking and experimenting with light drugs while still in high school. Ironically, none of that was more than a mild nuisance to his parents - but his sexuality was what hit a nerve with them. Originally, Sebastian started fooling around with boys more out of an attempt to provoke more than anything; quickly he realized though that indeed he was much more attracted to men than women, and even more so after he realized how it bothered his parents. He'd leave porn scattered around the house on purpose, he'd have boys over and make sure his mother would walk in on them... One day, he even seduced his father's best friend, sucking the man off in his parents' bed. As much as he hated his privileged upbringing, it certainly had been convenient, and he struggled to find a place to stay and care for himself, until eventually one of his lovers used his contacts to get the boy a job at a gay bar. Gogo dancing wasn't going to get him rich, but it was enough to pay for a small apartment above the club, and over time he grew popular and skilled enough to make plenty of tips each night. Sooner rather than later, men showed interest in paying extra for services that went further than just a lap dance, and Sebastian was all too willing to put his talents to use in order to make money.

It was a humble, almost pitiful life compared to the wealth he'd grown up in, but he was content, not necessarily looking to give up the job anytime soon - until one night, a scout from the Haus of Perses mingled with the audience of his show. Sebastian of course was unaware whose attention he had caught, simply seducing the stranger like any other man, with his movements, his gaze meeting the other's, the subtle touch when he got closer. Hours later, a lap dance had - as so many times before - led to more, and when the stranger offered him a job at the Haus, Sebastian found himself surprised and genuinely excited for the first time in a long time. Without much thinking, he accepted, and began to work at the Haus of Perses. A place where he could hone many more skills and talents that went beyond rolling his hips in an enticing manner. And with every passing day, week, month, even year, he aimed to fulfil every single desire - both those of the clients as well as his own.

Being a whore still wasn't the most glamorous job, even at a luxury brothel like the Haus, but it still gave him validation and self-worth beyond what he'd imagined. No longer did he secretly get paid extra to take someone upstairs or into the back alley for a quick, sneaky fuck. At the Haus, Sebastian could fully explore his fantasies and skills, be desired without inhibition, and make a name for himself over the years as much more than just an erotic dancer. For Sebastian, it was a struggle sorting out his loyalties, after oweing quite a lot to the men who gave his life some actual purpose; in the end, however, he owed nothing to anyone but himself.

It was this very attitude, however, that he began questioning a while later, when the new owners decided to leave behind the location Sebastian had called home for almost ten years. Maybe it was time to move on after all. And briefly, he really tried. Leaving behind the walls of the Haus, he was scared to realize how numb he'd become. Ever since failing to receive love from his parents, he'd closed himself off to emotional connections, barely making more than acquaintances in all his years as a dancer and prostitute. Attempting to date out in the real world was uncomfortable, a world he was no longer made for. Trying to open up, to let himself be actually vulnerable felt impossible, too deep were the scars Sebastian had so eagerly been pushing out of his consciousness. So, in a panicked reaction, he ran back. Contacting Thomas King, he offered to return to the Haus - not without making demands in return. Sebastian knew his worth, and he'd given most of his life and even his emotional capability to the place, so running the show at the club he'd once been just one of many strippers at felt like the least he deserved.

I honestly have no idea why some people like Sam. They are literally the most shallow LI in the entire game like their only personality trait is being horny for MC 7/24 and that's without mentioning their other bad qualities like being a horrible parent, a total push over, and just being a coward in general. Like yeah their sprites are hot but that's not enough to overlook all the negatives.

Yeah I agree, the only appeal I see for Sam is that the sprite is hot and all the "sexual tension". Everything else is at best mediocre and at worst just horrible
