High Priestess ~ Anna Maria D'Onofrio Tarot
Tumblr media
In English decks this card is called “The High Priestess”, but la Papesse in French means “the Popess.” The card may refer to the legendary story of Pope Joan (Johanna), which was well-known during the late Middle Ages. According to the story, Johanna was a philosophy teacher in 9th-century Rome. Because of social conventions of that time, Johanna had to teach disguised as a man. Her great wisdom made her popular and soon she became known as the greatest teacher in Rome. At that time the pope died and Johanna, still passing for a man, was elected to replace him. She served as pope for several years. But her secret was revealed when she gave birth during a procession, and the angry mob stoned her and the baby to death. The Popess is a wise woman The Popess holding a book brings to mind the goddess of wisdom in various mythologies, such as Athena in Greece, Sophia in Hellenistic sects and Saraswati in India. The title band at the top of the card is exceptionally narrow, which makes the tip of the Popess’ tiara extend high when compared to other cards. This may indicate a higher kind of wisdom or intuition from a sublime source. The turn towards the left, signifying the past, hints at the possession of ancient or traditional knowledge. The book indicates her ability to understand and express it in words. The book is open, but it is partly hidden by the robe: the Popess is willing to share her knowledge with others, but one has to make an effort in order to receive and understand it. The card can signify ancient wisdom, possibly with a feminine character. For example, it may be the kind of knowledge which traditionally passes between women, such as popular folk magic or methods of natural healing. Of course, it can also refer to a man who applies such knowledge. The Pope Joan story may also be read as highlighting subversive knowledge which undermines the established conventions and the existing power structures of society. The Popess is a spiritual mother According to the writings of the Gnostic sects in early Christian times, the ancient goddess of wisdom, Sophia, is the mother of the male god who created the world and then forgot who gave him birth. This is the ancient figure of “the Mother of God” which in Christianity became Mary, the mother of Jesus. In traditional paintings of the Christian annunciation, Mary appears with a book similar to the one we see in the card.  The theme of motherhood also appears in Pope Joan’s story.  But the covered body and the book give an impression of distance and intellectuality. The card may refer to motherhood expressed not as warmth and hugging, but as wise advice and guidance. It can also indicate a cold and detached mother. It can refer to an actual mother, or represent a spiritual mother acting as a guide or teacher. The Popess sets boundaries The Popess is conspicuously more dressed than other clothed figures in the major suit. The chest area is heavily covered, the pelvis and the legs are completely hidden under the robe, and the visible face is wrapped all around. In the symbolic language of body parts, the Popess expresses herself only in the intellectual domain, and does this too in a controlled and limited manner. The other domains of body, desire and feeling are blocked and repressed. The screen behind her back suggests the idea of virginity, further linking the figure to virgin Mary. The card can symbolize a closed and protective attitude, or lack of sensuality. It can also signify keeping oneself spiritually clean, puritan conservatism or bigoted views of sexuality. Psychologically, it can indicate the setting of firm barriers of the self, whether to define the limits of the ego, or to avoid intimate contact. It can also express setting moral barriers to oneself or to others. In practical matters the card can express knowledge and understanding, but not real action. The Popess hides her powers Pope Joan’s story is about a woman who has to conceal her femininity and her strengths in a world of men. This is a situation which can also be relevant today. For example, the card may represent a woman adopting “masculine” attitudes in order to be accepted in a business or professional environment. It can also indicate difficulty in accepting a relationship where the abilities or the social status of the woman surpass those of her partner. In the case of a man, the card may describe social pressure which prevents him from expressing traits which are considered feminine. On a more general level, the card can express a need to conceal personal characteristics, such as sexual orientation, unaccepted views or anything which is considered out of the ordinary or illegitimate by societal standards. Alternatively, it can symbolize a timid or modest person who does not boast about his qualities and virtues. The Popess keeps a secret The veiled nature of the card is expressed not only in the clothes but also in the screen behind the Popess, as if she is guarding something hidden behind it. The Popess card can refer to personal secrets, covert moves or discreet matters that should not be openly revealed. It can also indicate a mystery, or hint at a spiritual secret which has to be guarded from the unworthy. In a negative sense it can indicate excessive secrecy and a difficulty to open up or expose oneself.   The Popess card can also refer to the reading itself. As a figure who knows secrets “from behind the veil,” the Popess may represent the reader. The card can also signify that the querent is hiding something from us. As a last card in the reading it can indicate that the answer to the query is hidden behind a veil, so that it cannot be revealed at this point.                                         Yoav Ben Dov

Page of Pentacles ~ Anna Maria D'Onofrio Tarot
Tumblr media
With his two coins, one being raised to the sky and one buried underground, he was wondering where his position in this world, his body, his financial problems. The buried coin is an obstacle that prevents him from developing; the coin being raised is his wish. His left hand is holding a yellow round object, which can be a piece of gold like the Magician – Le Bateleur Tarot. Should he start a business, and if so, what kind of profession? How to enter an active life? Is this investment worthy of possible problems? Will he regain his health? There are dozens of questions that Knave of Pentacles ask when considering whether to take physical risks or financial risks. If this card describes problems, it can talk about not knowing where a person’s position is, where to stay, staying passive, or, on the contrary, playing dangerously with one’s safety or life. Valet De Deniers is the card of dreams and desires to manifest them in the material world. You can be in the middle of a new project like a hobby, business creation or the start of new training. In any case, this card is a sign of enthusiasm and desire, centered on a goal or a dream. It does not indicate the fulfillment of dreams but rather the initial motivation and the needed energy to begin the process of materializing these dreams into reality. As a result, this card encourages you to start putting in place clear strategies and actions that will ultimately lead you to realize your dreams and goals. This is a time when you must be able to follow careful planning to achieve your ambition. You must stay focused on the practical and tangible elements, keep your feet firmly anchored on Earth without getting carried away by other ideas and concepts and also be focused on what is realistic and achievable. That is when your common sense and pragmatic approach will lead you to success and a solution that really works. It is the time to put into practice all these great ideas and concepts that have stimulated your imagination. Valet De Deniers also asks you to flourish and progress along a trajectory that will generate prosperity and wealth in the future. You are just at the beginning of a new project or business which will require staying focused on tangible results and benefits. Besides that, you should be clear about the skills and resources needed to attract you to wealth and abundance. This Knave is thirsty for knowledge. It is dedicated to knowledge, the acquisition of wisdom and new skills. He is passionate about all of his commitments and has a great capacity for involvement in his interests and activities. Thus, the appearance of this card means that success will come to you after mastering new skills, and you have decided to achieve specific and tangible goals. You may need to consider continuing your education, expanding your skills at work or learning new ways of doing things. Do not be afraid to be an apprentice again, even if you already master another area to perfection. Think of those 70-year-olds who suddenly engage with enthusiasm in obtaining a university degree! The more strings you add to your bow, the more goals and dreams you will achieve. Sometimes, Valet De Deniers can represent a young entrepreneur. This person may aspire to fortune by pursuing a new business idea through learning new skills or adapting to a new situation. He/she may be young, but there is also a lot of enthusiasm, commitment, dedication and a keen sense of responsibility to carry out his/her project. https://tarotx.net/tarot-card-meanings/marseilles/5-de-coupe-tarot.html

Ace of Pentacles ~ Anna Maria D'Onofrio Tarot
Tumblr media
This card denotes physical energy in all of its potential forms: the body, the resources, the positions we hold in the world, the territory. The fact that the Pentacles set always mentioned in a plural form showing this energy is mainly of common. Ace of Pentacles directs us to our relationships with being, family life, home, money, and health. It shows our questions about the specific side of life. As de Denier like other Court cards, represents a fresh start, energy, and inspiration. In this card, pentacles are equivalent to the alchemical element of the Earth and thus, symbolizes the material world and the things associated with the material and the body. It also represents the money and financial concerns you may have at the time of reading. This card indicates the beginning of new energy and interest revived by the material or financial sectors of your life. It can refer to the start of new investments or the desire to create a new business. There is also the possibility of an inheritance or a gift of money from an unexpected source. This Ace card announces a sense of prosperity and abundance and should be welcomed with joy because it is a very positive card. This is the symbol of wealth not only in financial terms but also in a more holistic sense. You can see new opportunities as a source of income. You may have the chance to receive a gift or a financial windfall. It is an indicator of abundance in all areas of your life. You should obey the law of attraction and send positive energy to the universe in order to receive abundance in return. As de Denier is the manifestation of your goals. You will evolve with a more positive mindset about what you are able to achieve. Your ideas are ready to be transformed into something tangible. Let’s start projecting exactly how you will achieve your goals. Many opportunities are open to you. You begin to realize that the world is in your way, and you can achieve your goals and desires. This card may suggest that we need to introduce something new into the equation rather than letting things stay and expecting them to self-regulating. It is time to start something outside your comfort zone. For example, you might consider signing up for a club, taking classes to learn new skills, or even reading a book or learning how to develop new business. https://tarotx.net/tarot-card-meanings/marseilles/

Fool ~ Anna Maria D'Onofrio Tarot
Tumblr media
As in the Sola Busca Tarot, and in the Golden Dawn’s system, Waite assigned the Fool the arabic numeral zero although all of the other cards in the Major Arcana are assigned roman numerals. In traditional decks other than the Sola Busca the Fool is not numbered and in the traditional game that is played with the deck he is considered a wild card that is not part of the series of trumps but can be played instead of a trump. Because the Fool is unnumbered, Levi felt free to assign him the penultimate position in the Major Arcana just before the World, where the Fool would correlate with the penultimate Hebrew letter, shin. In  The Pictorial Key to the Tarot,  Waite, like Levi, places the Fool in the penultimate position when he describes each Major Arcana, but in another list in the book he places the Fool in the first position. In his introduction to the Major Arcana in  The Pictorial Key to the Tarot,  Waite acknowledges that he is not satisfied with either solution. In  The Mystical Tarot,  modern Tarot scholar Rosemary Ellen Guiley recounts a story of uncertain origin in which Smith was said to have protested Waite’s placement of the Fool. Smith was said to prefer that the Fool be placed in the initial position in the Major Arcana, and as a sign of protest to Waite’s placement, she refused to sign this illustration.  13  A close examination of the illustration will reveal that Smith’s characteristic monogram does, however, appear intertwined in the crosshatched shading representing the side of the cliff in the lower right corner of the image, although on all other cards Smith was careful to leave a clear space for her signature, and this is the only card in which she hid her signature in this way. This detail may still represent her protest. Some observers claim that the Hebrew letter shin—the letter that corresponds to the penultimate position—is depicted in the circle on the far right of the Fool’s tunic just above the hem. The three strokes in the circle, however, do not clearly form the Hebrew letter, and if the story of Smith’s protest is true, it would be unlikely that she would include this detail. In the Golden Dawn’s correspondences, the Fool, the Hanged Man, and Judgement are linked to the elements air, water, and fire, respectively, while all of the other Major Arcana are linked to planets or the zodiac. The fact that these three have elemental associations while the other Major Arcana are associated with celestial symbols differentiates these three cards from the others and also suggests that they form a separate group within the Major Arcana. Tarot historians Decker and Dummett have gathered from Waite’s initial companion book,  The Key to the Tarot,  that Waite saw these three as a unique group in the same way and that for him they represented the three stages of the mystical quest.  14  The Fool is a new soul when he is at the beginning of the suit but in the penultimate position he is the soul redeemed. Waite called him “a prince from another world on his travels through this one.”  15  Smith’s picture shows him high on a mountaintop immersed in his element. As a novice, he is about to fall from the cliff that he is walking toward but not looking at. As a master, he has climbed to the summit, a symbol of the sacred center, and regained his innocence. His trials are over and he can bask in the golden sunlight of the dawn. Smith’s depiction of the Fool seems to be influenced by the figure on the Sola Busca Five of Cups, who is looking up to the sky with a similar expression while supporting a bundle of reeds on his shoulder, and who also has a small dog tugging at his leg. In her image she has transformed the bundle of reeds into a pole with a traveling bag that is similar to the one held by the Marseilles Fool, and reinterpreted the dog as a companion. Although it is indistinct in some older copies of the deck, the bag on the end of the pole bears the image of a hawk’s head, a connection to the Egyptian sun god Horus. In his left hand, the Fool holds a white rose, a Golden Dawn symbol of silence and rebirth.  16  His tunic is covered with fruit or flowers and the dog in the picture has become his joyful companion. The feather in his cap is a symbol of air and it points to the sun, a symbol of enlightenment. The Fool looks away from the sun. Is it because he is foolish and ignores wisdom or is it because he has absorbed its lessons and does not need to look directly into the light? To decide which Fool is meant in a reading, look at the cards that flank him and particularly the one he may face. Robert Place

9 of Swords ~ Anna Maria D'Onofrio Tarot
Tumblr media
The golden sword evokes enlightenment and new knowledge emerging, and it is this change that will allow us to break the habits of old-fashioned thinking or even let go of all knowledge. After a long search, the light appeared. That was the end of the two sides between the actor and the audience. This unity raises questions about past concepts. 9 D’épée Tarot is the card of fear and nightmares. Therefore, it carries an apparently negative sensitivity. However, the problems mentioned in this card are mainly on the spiritual side and do not necessarily indicate physical suffering. That is, only what is in your mind creates fear and anxiety, not actual circumstances. Our perception of the world is greatly influenced by our expectations, desires, and fears, and as a result, you are largely the creator of your own world. Your attitudes then determine how you apprehend the world. It can also reflect the fear of the future or what could happen in the future. If you let some anxiety about the future overwhelms you, you risk living in a negative reality. Your nightmare will become a self-fulfilling prophecy, which is clearly not a desirable goal. In general, 9 D’épée Tarot indicates that you are worrying excessively about a given situation. You stay awake all night because you are worried about a particular problem. It is possible that you are fed up with it unnecessarily, and if you look at the situation more objectively, you might realize it is not as bad as you think. At the end of the day, it only makes things worse, so rather than worrying, do something to change everything. Although many people experience fear, frustration, and uncertainty at some point in their lives, you should not let these negative emotions stop you from pursuing your goals with enthusiasm and hope. Let’s be always prepared for future uncertainty and take advantage of your inner strength to stay as flexible and adaptable as possible to this unknown. 9 D’épée Tarot can also mean that you are being incredibly hard on yourself, that you recite a negative inner speech. For every mistake you make, you go after yourself, you get angry and consider yourself the one responsible for ruining everything. So, when the new sword comes up, ask yourself why do you are so hard on yourself, belittle yourself or what is the origin of this disrepute? What can you do to feel better? With just a little of willpower and motivation, you can stop this negative inner discourse and replace it with positive and encouraging thinking. This reveals worry, anxiety and the impossibility of sleeping because thoughts are stuck in your mind tirelessly. That means emotionally, you start to get fed up with it and become terribly stressed and anxious, yet in reality, it should not be that complicated. You tend to get tired of seeing how bad the situation is, to miss out on what is really going on and what opportunities are available to you. The essential thing here is to stop everything and examine objectively the reality of the situation. Let’s get down-to-earth by examining your fears and anxieties and working to reduce their impact on your life. It is also possible that you have already experienced this period of worry and depression and that you are starting to recover. You may have realized recently that it is not as bad as you imagined, and you are starting to relax and calm down about what was once a terrifying situation. You may also find that your dreams are very revealing right now. You can write them down on a diary to analyze what is going on on the subconscious level. https://tarotx.net/tarot-card-meanings/marseilles/

Tumblr media
The birth of first love with all the freshness and surprise, as well as the idealization of the description of love is shown in this card. It is a passionate affection, a young love whether it goes to the end or not. The appearance of other people while the emotion of romance explodes abundantly if it causes disappointment can bring terrible injuries, for example, the love of the mother for her son. The two flower branches that raised the two cups and formed a heart shape with looked like poppies, evoking the passion that this sensation caused. It is also the rediscovery of passionate love at all ages. 3 De Coupe Tarot represents friendships and harmonious relationships. This is a time when you are available to help others, which means that others are also available to help you in return. This card advises you to have a good time with your family and friends. You feel that your beloved ones will always be there for you and that you can count on each other. Also, you can truly see that by turning to your friends, you will receive love, support, and compassion you need right now. Your circle of close friends may be a group of parents, childhood friends, a support group or a host of friendships that you have built over the years. There is a unity of thought between you and your friends, and a shared sense of sensitivity and sympathy for each other. This card also announces a very sociable period. You will find a harmonious balance between the respect of your commitments and the time spent with your friends and family. This is the perfect time to indulge and have fun! You can be particularly attracted by culinary pleasures and enjoy good food, wine or cocktails! You can also celebrate something special, such as a birth, a commitment, a wedding, a new union or a birthday. For now, even as life’s problems continue, you should take the time to forget the worries of the everyday world and enjoy the companion of your friends and loved ones. Such respites are often necessary before and after periods of intense stress, to prevent you from exhausting yourself emotionally or physically. When this card appears and you are undergoing a lot of stress, take some time to recover and look for support from your friends before returning to reality. More broadly, 3 De Coupe Tarot indicates the end or conclusion of all the problems you have encountered, especially those related to your interactions with others. A compromise will be found that will serve all the interests of those involved and will allow the emergence of a more harmonious environment. You can facilitate this process by having a positive mindset and changing your attitude, how you react, or how you manage ongoing events, at the same time, treat the situation with compassion and give the benefit of the doubt as much as possible. 3 De Coupe Tarot represents the family and groups of people who come together to focus on a common goal for the greater good of others. You may find that by addressing others and coming together, you can achieve a fantastic sharing of positive energy and passion with others for the benefit of the wider group. This is a sign that you should look for other people to celebrate your success with you. It is a great way to communicate with others and unleash your creative abilities. https://tarotx.net/tarot-card-meanings/marseilles/

2 of Wands ~ Anna Maria D'Onofrio Tarot
Tumblr media
This is a state when a person is still a virgin, but the desires are gradually accumulating as a premise to prepare for the first experience. Sexual energy is currently passive and repressed but can be quite intense when in that state. This card may also refer to the creative potential in the pregnancy or the smoldering moment of sexual subconsciousness. 2 De Baton is inspired by a great idea and makes it ripe towards the true path to follow. Thus, this card encourages to plan and to progress. You have been able to give an idea a new dimension that will allow you to succeed. It is not just an idea anymore, because now you are going to put a plan in place to make sure that idea comes true as you wish. This Ace card also bodes well for discovery, especially when you step out of your comfort zone, explore new worlds, and try new experiences. Taking the first step may require a little courage, but it gives you confidence. You have identified your goal, and you know where you are guiding your creative process, so you have faith in the final result. This card tells that you will begin to consider your long-term goals and aspirations and that you will plan what you need to do to achieve these ambitions. You have already made good progress, but now you feel ready for change, this time with your long-term future in mind. You may be considering overseas travel, study after graduation, or a major career change at this stage to increase your knowledge and development, and broaden your horizons beyond your current environment. Careful organization and a realistic approach will put the odds on your side to succeed in the future. In the Tarot of Marseille, card number 2 often represents decisions of all kinds. In the case of 2 De Baton, you decide between continuing to appreciate the comfort of your habits and expanding your horizons by taking risks. You know that the world can offer you something larger or more constructive but you are also aware that to maximize this opportunity, you must leave your familiar environment. Even if you have already invested heavily in the current situation in order to develop and maximize your potential, it is imperative that you embark on this new world and explore your options. This card focuses on patience. You have already shown your willingness to make a change, so it is the time to wait patiently for feedback and see your ideas come to fruition. https://tarotx.net/tarot-card-meanings/marseilles/

10 of Swords ~ Anna Maria D'Onofrio Tarot
Tumblr media
The transformation process has come to an end; there is no one but two swords. They had escaped from the oval, proving that thinking was no longer imprisoned itself. It is the appearance of a new impact in intellectual life, another view from itself. Two swords evoke bisexual thinking, both male and female. This is the highest mature form of wisdom reaching a state of harmony with the mind. Personal identity achieves a completely realistic picture, charismatic thinking.   10 D’épée Tarot usually symbolizes a sudden or unexpected failure or disaster caused by a power beyond your control that crushes you without warning and mercy. You may be able to change the process of this impending disaster, but most of the time you will just have to let go and get on with it. This card can also indicate a period during which you were suddenly being stabbed behind your back or betrayed by someone you thought you could trust. You feel incredibly hurt and shocked by this betrayal. As such, it is often associated with the feeling of a victim in relation to a situation. You may feel helpless with a brutal and sudden end, and you may feel attacked by someone else. The sympathy of the surrounding people relieves you even when you often say to yourself, “poor me”. 10 D’épée Tarot also indicates a difficult period of conclusion, loss, pain or release. However, the positive thing is that you have newly become aware of a positive feeling of relief: the difficulty and pain will soon be over and evolve to something new. As after each end, there will be a new beginning, a rebirth and a spirit of renewal. While this card may seem negative at first glance, it is a map of hope and is a sign that your problems will not last forever In addition, it is the final test, and there is no more pain reaching you in this way. It was the storm before the clearing, and although the clouds still look dark, the sun will rise again. 10 D’épée Tarot also reveals the renunciation and acceptance of the present situation. You no longer resist change, instead, you let it happen, even if it causes pain and bother you for now. You agree that there must be a change to facilitate renewal and you accept it. When this card appears after a painful situation, this is the signal to get yourself together and analyze what happened and what you can learn from this experience. The ultimate power of 10 D’épée Tarot is the ability to analyze the situation and learn from oneself. True wisdom does not come from outside but from within. This card also demonstrates that the pain and suffering you have endured will be rewarded. All the positive inner power can be used to learn from your pain and gain wisdom from defeat. This card indicates a proof of imminent change or an end that may be difficult to accept initially. https://tarotx.net/tarot-card-meanings/marseilles/5-de-coupe-tarot.html

10 of Wands ~ Anna Maria D'Onofrio Tarot
Tumblr media
After completing his cycle, Wand divided into two, opening the space for a white axis. In the later stages, the next factor will be the Ace of Swords. It can symbolize the angel’s eyes looking at sex; energy that is no longer circulating inside or outside but crystallizes like a bisexual diamond and becomes a pure soul. People are no longer in sexual or creative scope and have turned to other concerns, for example, an artist who has become a teacher who finds out his gift as a physician. In the Marseille tarot, 10 represents the completion of a cycle. Therefore, with 10 De Baton, you reach the end of a cycle after a long period of struggling. You finally reaped the rewards after investing a lot of hard work and effort. You have been creative, you have achieved a dream or a major goal, and you must now manage the consequences of that accomplishment. However, this card means that the fulfillment of your ambition will come with great responsibility and binding obligations. Although you have reached the completion point, you are increasingly aware that you must assume the responsibilities you have set to success. Finally, the problem is that these obligations can be too heavy in the long run, and you might have trouble getting rid of them. It is a bit like the entrepreneur who creates a thriving society without willing to delegate some of his responsibilities and then ends up working 70 to 80 hours a week. The creativity of the beginning disappears quickly, and everything becomes difficult. That is why it is extremely important to assign or divide some of your tasks in order to free yourself to enjoy some essential moments of rest. 10 De Baton reminds us of all the things we take up unnecessarily in our lives and all the absurd tasks we impose on ourselves. We are all overloading. Thus, this card advises you to take a break and rethink your lifestyle or your current job. You should evaluate what activities or tasks are really urgent or really important, especially in relation to your goals as a whole. You may need to use different methods of time management or prioritization to determine how to improve your efficiency. Your goal should be better productivity, which helps you to get some rest and relaxation when you need it. This card can also mean that you feel asphyxiated by external pressures. You have too much work, overworked, overstimulated, and fed up. In the last effort, you have been accepted additional responsibilities and activities but eventually submerged. You have to stop working so hard. https://tarotx.net/tarot-card-meanings/marseilles/5-de-coupe-tarot.html

King of Swords ~ Anna Maria D'Onofrio
Tumblr media
Like Le Chariot Tarot (VII), he carries two crescent-shaped faces on his shoulders. This is the King of the Swords suit, who can use the words and new ideas skillfully. On his left hand (i.e. our right side) he was holding a measuring device engraved with 22 bars, the number of the Major Arcana. He can represent a righteous and enlightened ruler, a lawyer, a university professor, an architect, a scientific thinker, a person who can end a situation with a calm mind. He oversees his thoughts and turns it into action with the world. His negative aspects may be the power of slander, criticism, arguments, legal gaps, a corrupt politician with autocratic views, or a scheming person to create a place for himself in society in ways that lack transparency. Roi D’épée Tarot is a symbol of intellectual power and authority.. He also has the courage and intelligence to accomplish whatever he desires. It represents discernment, mastery, and power. This character is as rigorous as a judge, lawyer or warlord whose emotions must be contained under pressure. Therefore, this card asks you to remain detached and objective in a specific situation, in order to know the truth and to search only the facts. You must use your intellect to express your views and succeed with your efforts. Your education and experience are important, but so are your daily observations and thoughts. Roi D’épée Tarot means you have to accept a serious but fair attitude. You know that you are a wise person, and you can be aware of the truth of the moment, so take the lead from an objective point of view. You have a good position to assess your situation appropriately and identify restrictive behaviors that hinder your progress. It is a good time to put aside your emotions and stay as objective and rational as possible. You may have to negotiate with others and be pretty direct about what you notice. It may be bothering you not to be particularly caring or empathetic, but for the moment, this detachment is what you need most. In the same way, Roi D’épée Tarot encourages you to use your logic and your intellect to widen your path. You will have to face the problem directly, make inflexible and adequate decisions, and make sure you are firm but fair in your dealings with others. You must be able to measure yourself in any situation, study it impartially, and then come to a decision that is both fair and insightful. Often, this card represents a professional counselor, such as a lawyer or a notary, a financial or tax advisor. This advisor has a solid reputation and extensive knowledge of his particular field and will provide you with an objective and well-researched advice about your own situation. He is totally impartial and will benefit from his experience and his innate perception of the rules, systems, and structures in place. He may seem detached or disinterested in your personal situation but this attitude only reinforces his credibility. You will realize this through the relevance and objectivity of his advice. 6 of Wands ~ Anna Maria D'Onofrio Tarot
Tumblr media
Wands reaches his basic expression – it is a pleasure. We have surrendered to temptation and entered into the pleasure, the ultimate sensual desire, the joy of creation. Sex and creativity are experienced, and we are happy to be ourselves and to do what we do. For an artist, this is the time when he/she finds a way to express his/her unique personality. Labor is a joy. For boxers or energy workers, this is an expression of Air – a threshold of divine energy. 6 De Baton announces success, victory, and social recognition. Not only have you achieved your goals, but also your efforts and results are publicly recognized. You may have recently won, or you will soon receive an award, an enthusiastic welcome from the public, or recognition from your peers for the work you have done. It can also be just a pat on the back or a compliment on the quality of your work but it instills a high level of self-confidence and gives you the strength to continue your efforts. This card reveals that you have used your strengths and talents to achieve a positive result. You have managed to dodge doubt and confusion by minimizing distractions and focusing on the task at hand. You have overcome the obstacles along the way, and now you are mobilizing all of your efforts on the one goal that will lead you to success. It is your time of glory and notoriety. 6 De Baton is an extraordinarily positive encouragement to believe in yourself and your success. Thus, you should faith in what you have personally accomplished and how it will be perceived by others. Do not let fear or doubt prevents you from success. You can be proud of what you have accomplished, and you are worthy of the recognition of others. This card also bodes mainly for the success and construction of your personal reputation and contact. You want to succeed in what you do, and at the same time, you want to make sure others learn it and give you the recognition you deserve. You may end up doing your own promotion more frequently by sharing your methods with others to succeed and encouraging them to follow a similar path. If you do not already, you will soon have beautiful stories to tell in your personal networks. You may even be eligible to apply for prizes or scholarships to build your name and receive public recognition. The disadvantage of 6 De Baton is that it can also produce self-sufficiency, arrogance and selfish behavior. Because of success, you may think that no one will stop you, and you may end up with a huge ego. If you keep this attitude, it is likely that someone will denigrate and criticize you, with the risk eventually generating disappointment and public discredit. If you are occupied by the energy of this card, imagine how you would feel if someone made you feel inferior or disappointed. https://tarotx.net/tarot-card-meanings/marseilles/5-de-coupe-tarot.html

4 of Swords ~ Anna Maria D'Onofrio Tarot
Tumblr media
The idea has been stable. This card refers to rationalism, every aspect of thought with a firm stance and certain mature awareness. The mind that is biased towards the reality is capable of good application based on practice. Intelligence is established and stable; it knows how to operate through general synthesis.
Conservative trend with one’s point of view. Lack of sharpness or lack of some charm. The 4 D’épée Tarot announces calmness after the storm, a period of rest and recuperation after a challenging episode, with the promise that once restored, you can return to combat. Meanwhile, it brings a new challenge: to remain silent and inactive. It is time to rebuild mentally, meditate and spend time in a calm atmosphere. You must rebuild your strength, recharge spiritually, rest, and relax. This card reminds us that after each crisis and before each new challenge, there is always a moment of relaxation and contemplation. Stress and tension affect even the hardest and most resilient people, and the short respite provides energy, concentration, and attention before facing the next steps. It is also a sign that you can stop worrying. Let’s reduce your vigilance and take a break despite the chaos around. Currently, it is a truce and you can take your breath without being harassed again. However, remember that a ceasefire agreement and peace are not the same: a guarantee that challenges will return to your life as soon as you are ready to face them, so let’s enjoy the peace and quiet you have earned but never lose the fact that the battle is not over and still there. 4 D’épée Tarot shows that it is time to breathe after some difficult times, perhaps, the pain of a breakup or departure, a relationship or family problems, financial or health problems, stress or conflict. This is not the time to make a decision, especially when you are the most vulnerable. It also shows the need for isolation. You need to be isolated to deal with your situation, stand alone for a moment to collect your thoughts and feelings. 4 D’épée Tarot emphasizes that you need to spend time alone to reevaluate your life. The simplicity, though often unpleasant, is necessary to charge the battery and energize you. Experience of loneliness always brings greater inner strength and confidence. Let’s get rid of pain, conflict, distractions, stress, and anxiety, then recharge yourself. Also, you should consider your conscience to have a real change and meditation every day. In fact, 4 D’épée Tarot means that you need some time from the current situation, to reflect on and review the progress that has been made so far. This is a good time to reevaluate and balance your priorities. It is almost like driving your life balanced after a milestone. Let’s give yourself space and time to think about what has been, done well, what has failed and what you need to change for the future. At the same time, give yourself a respite after each big challenge, which will help you better arrange for the future. https://tarotx.net/tarot-card-meanings/marseilles/5-de-coupe-tarot.html
