The more I think about Genkishi the less normal I get about this character and how absurdly dirty they did him

Prompt 3: Against your better judgment you’re getting interested in this Byakuran character.
You had left the upscale bar more frustrated than when you entered it and with more questions. Who was the Gesso famiglia? Why did the woman think you were there to take them down? Why did she run so quickly when you talked about the Erba? You sipped your coffee as you walked into the precinct smiling at your fellow officers. You had barely slept a wink since that night, trying to find another lead somehow but coming up short.  You yawned noticing that your partner wasn’t anywhere in sight, you wouldn’t see him until at least noon. You sat at your desk ignoring the grin that the secretary gave you. You put your coffee down then stared at your desk. Something was different.
“What?” You stared at the bouquet of flowers on your desk first thing in the morning. It was Lady’s-mantle (Comforting) a lot of it. The secretary finally walked up to you squealing a bit.
“Look who has an admirer.” She grinned.
You stared at the flowers suspiciously, waiting for it to do something. Was it a warning? Were you in too deep? Was it the woman or did she rat you out? You looked sound suspiciously.
“When did these get here?” You asked the excited woman as she inspected the flowers with interest. She looked back up at you with a knowing grin,
“They were here real early, before I got in. Your admirer must be shy.” She covered her smile with her hand. “I didn’t think you would get so comfortable here so quickly [Name].”
“Y-Yeah… Is the captain in?”
“Oh [Name] you know he went out last night.” She returned her gaze to the flowers, “Well let me leave you to it.” She left to finish up her work.
You stared at the flowers a part of yourself waiting for it to explode or something but nothing happened. You examined the bouquet finding a note on the bouquet. You examined it. No name on it but it was on a nice card with embroidery and everything; inside the card was a hand written message that read ‘I hope this helps you.’
“Shit.” You dragged out.
“Hi!” You stared at the young girl behind the counter who greeted you. This was the tenth flower shop you went to in the city, trying to find out who gave you the flowers. You picked some of the flowers out of the bouquet and questioned local flower shops if they had been sent to give it out to the precinct. Half the shops didn’t even provide this type of flower the other half didn’t send any to the precinct or sold it with other flowers in the bouquet.
You put the flowers on the counter allowing the young girl to stare at them. She looked at you as you looked around for an adult to question, not noticing as she eyed you up and down with a critical eye. You turned back to the girl and she didn’t let up.
“Uh Is there someone I can talk to?”
“What do you want?” She questioned you with unnecessary animosity.
“If you sell these flowers and if a bouquet was sent to the police station.” You answered, confused about the venom.
“Yeah.”
You blinked at her, “Do you know who you sold it too?”
“Some guy.” She pouted, “He just said to leave the message and send it to the police station. You must be really happy to get them.”
You cleared your throat, “Yes well I want to thank him.”
“…” She still pouted at you, “I can call him to get back to you.”
“Okay then. Thank you um”
“Bluebell.”
You left the flower shop. Even if the sender didn’t get back to you at least you knew where they got it from. You looked at the time. You had wasted so much time on this flower hunt that you barely did anything about the Erba case. You groaned out your frustration, heading back to the precinct to do something today.
You stopped. Someone was following you, you could pick up on that now but for how long you didn’t know. You casually reached for your gun in the holster under your jacket as you walked down the empty street. You waited making sure the mystery person was following you before stopping suddenly. The figure stopped the same time as you and that confirmed it.
“Did you get my flowers [Name]?”
You pointed your gun at the figure as Byakuran waved at you, unbothered by the gun pointed at him. You gave him an incredulous look when you recognized him and put your gun down.
“I could have shot you!”
“But you didn’t.”
“Why did you do that!?” You questioned him referring to the flowers and note.
“You seemed upset [Name]~” He walked towards you with a gentle smile, “I see the flowers didn’t do anything to help.” He looked apologetically, “I thought it would make you feel better.”
“Well it didn’t. It was…unsettling at this time.” you sighed, “I’m really busy Byakuran. Why are you following me?” You folded your arms.
“Hmm. I want to help you [Name].”
“Help me?” You must have sounded suspicious because Byakuran made a movement of openness.
“You were talking to the Erba Boss’ mistress and you seemed upset when she left.”
You froze. “The what?”
“You didn’t know?” His smile was annoying you now.
“What do you know about the Erba Byakuran?” You asked insistently, “You have to tell me it’s very important and I would hate if you obstructed the law.”
“You don’t have to be so tense [Name].” He walked towards you, getting in your personal space, “I want to help you.”
“Then tell me what I want to know.” You challenged.
He looked away from you then returned his attention to you his ever present grin never subsiding.
“The Erba has a lot of enemies especially in their own ranks. Finding a disgruntled member or two should be simple for you.” Your eye twitched. Was he mocking you?
“Who?”
“There’s a capo who’s looking to expand his area but his boss won’t allow it.”
“How am I supposed to find them?”
“He enjoys a good cigar. De Nobili is his favorite.”
You sighed deeply. A lead.
