Ok, I have literally NO IDEA why I did this but I searched up the meaning of RP character names.
Jin: It has Chinese origins and means bright, beautiful, gold
Roy: it has Celtic origins and means red king
Amber: it has Latin/French origins and means amber colored (has to do with the gemstone). The gemstone's name is delivered from arabic Ambar wich means jewelry. In Hindi, Amber means the sky
Poli: Poli has Old French origins and means agreeable polite. After a little research I found out that Poli is also a shortened version of the names Paolo and Paul wich means small and humble
Helly: It has Indian origins and means rain fall
Mark: Has Latin origins and means god of war or to be warlike
Bucky: Has American origins and means Little Buck
Sandy: Has Greek origins and means men's defender ( ironically she is the only woman in the team and is the leader of it)
Keaton: Has Old English origins and means the place of hawks
Dronny: Means dynamic ( could also be Dron wich means guide)
Carry: Means free man
Do whatever you want with this information

Bad timing. In the same week that my laptop was destroyed, we’re discussing space/dark ambient. I had spent a lot of time creating several documents with lists of my favorite ambient albums, compilations, individual tracks, and artists. I had compiled, like, “custom mix” lists aiming for certain vibes (deep forest ambient; cosmic horror; Arctic ambient; cyberpunk-ish ambient). I’ll try to recall from memory. I really don’t think I have great taste and I don’t think my recommendations are that great.
I don’t like being pedantic or using concrete genre labels, but I do tend to make a big distinction between (1) psychill/psybient, so-called space ambient; and (2) dark ambient, polar ambient, cosmic horror-esque ambient. (The psychill/psybient stuff seems more melodic, optimistic, uptempo, cyberpunk-y, and reminiscent of trance. Meanwhile, the dark ambient is brooding and has lots of drone and a lack of melody.) I’ll try to give some recommendations for dark ambient specifically, since I think psychill stuff is a little easier to find, and I get the impression that my friends here at tungle are probably more interested in the dark ambient stuff.
Dark ambient:
The record label I listen to most is Cryo Chamber, and their artists seemed to be some of the first to be using the terms “polar ambient” and “winter ambient.” As far as a I can tell, albums under those descriptors were trying to aim for the atmosphere of nighttime in the Arctic. An atmosphere of desolation, isolation, sure, but without overtly horrific or “creepy” tones of other dark ambient.
For cosmic horror fans: Cryo Chamber artists have this tradition where they spend a year collaborating on a 2- or 3-hour-long dark ambient album trying to cultivate the atmosphere of a specific Cthulhu mythos deity. Very dark stuff, but interesting. I like their “Azathoth” album. The “Yog-Sothoth” one is fun too.
Earlier Cryo Chamber stuff (2012-2017) seemed more about brooding “naturalistic” soundscapes. Like, less “haunted house” or “Silent Hill horror” and more evocative of “ominous forest in an autumn rainstorm” or “desolate beach on an isolated coast under stormy skies” or “deep space ambiance” or “alone at night in Scandinavia as sentient forest deities observe you from afar.” (Nothing against “Silent Hill horror” atmosphere, of course.) These earlier albums had lots of environmental recordings with drone. Reminiscent of “folk horror.”
These are my favorite dark ambient compilation mixes. These have goofy and generic titles, I think to appeal to keyword search algorithmics, but the mixes are surprisingly cool. I like them because they’re like a “sample platter” featuring various artists, so you can get a taste of each artist. You can search these titles, freely available on You/Tube:
“Cold Journeys in Uninhabitable Lands Mix by Northumbria”; “Black Waves Mix by Protou”; “Winter Solstice Mix by Northumbria”; “Nature Ambience by Ager Sonus” (silly title, but one of their best); “Frost Ambient”; “Ambient Winter Music”; "Dark Atmospheric Music from the Shadowlands“; “Black Ambient Music by Dronny Darko”;
Around the middle of 2016, it seems like Cryo Chamber expanded widely into stuff that is more evocative of “lamenting abandoned ruins” and “utter despair” and “panicking while stuck in a haunted basement” and “Nyarlathotep won’t stop trying to torment your mind.” Simultaneously, after 2017, it seemed that CC also expanded into specific genre atmospheres, sometimes by request: “Save Room Theme mix”; “Dark Steampunk mix”; “Dark Gothic Ruins mix”; etc.
Here are some dark ambient artists that I listen to. These artists seem to be more about the “spooky forest” and “ominous landscape” and “uncanny post-industrial edge of the city” kind of atmosphere:
Ugasanie. Hoshin. protoU. Northumbria. Alphaxone. Cities Last Broadcast. Dead Melodies.
Other prominent Cryo Chamber artists and compilation albumsmore evocative of despair and outright horror (I don’t listen to these as much, so I can’t fully vouch for them):
God Body Disconnect. Ager Sonus. Atrium Carceri. “Ambient music of the Dark Horizon” by various artists.
Fun aside: I had been actively listening to psychill stuff since like 2004 or something, and dark ambient since around 2009 or so. It seems to me that a lot of the psychill/space ambient stuff was being produced in Scandinavia and adjacent places (especially Norway, Sweden, Netherlands). And a majority of the dark ambient and horror-ish ambient was being produced in Eastern Europe (especially Ukraine and the Balkans). Do the forests and dramatic seasonal forces of Northern Europe influence the tendency of Scandinavian artists to produce space ambient? Since a lot of dark ambient includes titles explicitly referencing ruins, decay, abandonment, etc., does the infrastructure, architecture, and recent history of Eastern Europe provide unique inspiration for dark ambient? I don’t like to essentialize, but there’s material here for an academic thesis, I’m sure.

Headcanons for mutant busters because I felt like it and I have a giant list going to waste (for the less talked about characters, and I have some for every character so feel free to ask for someone not on this list)
Leviathan
He loves romance books
Before the apocalypse, he was a twitch streamer (he played video games) he wasn't very popular, but he enjoyed it and had dreams of doing it for a living
He has gills, webbed hands/feet and waterproof fur as well as a few scales while he's a colossus, which is why he served Verruca
He was mostly immune to the mental effects of mutation, but went "hey, Verruca has free food and place to sleep and the humans are chasing me away, so why not?" which is why he lived in panic chasm
He actually really likes Verruca and decided to try and reform her after the show ended
He knows a lot of random fun facts and is helping Dr White set up a trivia night for everyone
He's a multishipper and ships pretty much everyone together, but isn't interested in anyone himself
Dr White
He's a huge cat person
He's a single dad
He won't tell anyone his actual age. When Sheriff tried to find out and called him old, he gave him the worst chores for a month
Dronny was originally an experiment but Dr White got too attached and now he's a pet
His first name is Walter (/j)
His childhood best friend is Arkan. They also dated for a bit when they were teenagers. Nobody knows this
He loves every comedy movie
Tells dumb jokes
He loves Italian food, especially pizza
He used to make music videos with BP. They were really cringy, but he loves them anyway
Verruca
she really does not care about taking over the world
She really just wants to chill out and watch TV, even though all she can get is old CDs thanks to the apocalypse
She was hatched on Earth, the day that the mutants invaded
She was actually (unintentionally) really nice to Leviathan, not because she cared about him, but because she loved talking about Romance movies with him, and she let him have a lot of time off because she didn't want to take over the world either
She also loves cats. As in, eating them
She reformed after the series. It was very easy to convince her, all Leviathan had to do was bribe her by letting her join a film club with him and Dr White

Hypothetically for the Wings AU,
Could Dronny be a pig with wings?
(my idea for this stems from the fact that the symbol of La Résistance is that lil pig with wings, also it would just be cute lol)
Well I mean, hypothetically sure. I mean we've got people with wings in the Au, what's to say we can't have pigs with wings.
It'd definitely be a fun lil thing in the Au, to add in some much needed comedy and the idea of everyone just accepting the fact Dronny has wings (how I'm imagining them, they are comically small compared to his body but he can still fly with them. Like a bee and how their wings should not be able to carry their fat little bodies off the ground yet so so anyways)
I'm not gonna outright say I'll make this canon to the Au but I'm not saying I won't entertain the idea. Like. It kinda depends on how you wanna view it I guess? You can view the Au and have the idea of Dronny with wings as canon or not. I'm not that uptight as a person, so long as we're having fun I could care less.
So in short, it's canon if you want it to be and it's not canon if you don't want it to be. Honestly just up to personal preference.
