teressa. le tengo un cariño muy especial a tessita porque fue la musa con la que entre a la comunidad y las cosas que logro sin que siquiera me diera cuenta fueron in-creí-bles; la bebita de las bebitas entre muchos mafiosos metiéndose en los corazoncitos de todos. fue hermoso verla crecer, pasando de estar completamente solita a crearse una familia de personas que amaba.

elizabeth. solo tengo una palabra para effy, soft. de verdad que escribirla es el sentimiento más pacífico de este mundo, porque ella de verdad solo le ve lo bonito al mundo y quiere a todas las personas a su alrededor de manera tan sincera que es imposible no amar escribirla. aun me falta explorar partes de ella, pero con tan poco, se coló en mi corazón hasta ganarse su lugar en esta lista.

I just saw your post about Skyward Sword never referencing a hero before SS Link, but during the Wing Ceremony cutscene, doesn’t Zelda say something about Hylia giving a sailcloth to her “chosen hero”? Wouldn’t that hero be the original?

Still, like- that's the only mention we ever get. Fi doesn't mention it. Impa doesn't mention it. Girahim doesn't mention it. Zelda herself doesn't mention it later on during her recount of Hylia's plan. Even Demise makes like a huge speech about how 'Humans before you never had any balls, they all clung to their goddess wailing like babies.' so I'm not entirely surprised I forgot that dialogue because the game in itself doesn't follow up on it.

Plus... wasn't Nintendo's whole promotional campaign for this one that it's 'The one that started everything'? If Link is just the reincarnation of some dude we don't know (And won't know.) and only gets mentioned once and that's what gets the ball rolling, rather than the 'Destiny' and 'Prophecy' theme we have going on for the entire game, which hinted more towards Link's coming being foretold even in the times of Hylia and Demise's battle, and why she had to seal the bastard and reincarnate as a human at the right time in the first place...then they shouldn’t have said it was the one that started everything!! Hell they should have released a game feat the war between Hylia and Demise instead!!

And... there's another thing.

The whole reincarnation curse thing was placed on SS!Link. I mean I GUESS it's not necessary for him to have been cursed for him to reincarnate, but I thought this was supposed to be the ORIGIN of the triad of sad people who fight over a triangle. Doesn't it kind of defeat the purpose of making this the origin story of TLOZ if it actually... isn't???

IDK. Is it possible it was a mistranslation like the one in TP with the sages and Auru? 'cause otherwise I am just stumpted here.
