Finally, he had arrived, Thomas William Hiddleston, the actor, heartthrob of many women had arrived in India, more specifically Mahabalipuram, Chennai to attend his sister's wedding. His elder sister Sarah was getting married tomorrow.
He was glad not many people recognized him. The cab was waiting. The sun was setting but still he was sweating, apparently the climate in Chennai was different from his home. Even though it was evening it was hot and humid he desperately wanted to go to his hotel room and have a cold shower. Yes, that would help him cool down.
But apparently traffic had other plans. He had never once in his life seen such traffic, there were all types of vehicles. God how he wanted a bed and a cool shower.
At last he reached the hotel "Radisson Blu Resort" the board read. He was fascinated by the hospitality of the people, the receptionist greeted him by joining her palms together, bowing down slightly and by uttering "Vannakkam" with a huge radiant smile. He noted that she was wearing a bun with kajol lining her hazel eyes, red coloured lipstick and a Bindi. The attire he tried to remember 'What was it again'........'Ah a Saree' he guessed.
His room was big with a four-poster bed, an AC and a view with the seashore and the temple 'Mesmerizing he thought with the sun in the background it looked glorious.
He took out his phone to capture the view but was met by his sister's call. He immediately picked it up.
"Tom!!!", a joyous voice he immediately recognized yelled.
"Hey Sis", he responded enthusiastically.
After answering Sarah, informing that he had arrived safely and had a good flight, he had a hearty dinner consisting of meals which he would admit were a bit spicy but mouth-watering and tasty and a cold shower. The British actor drifted off into a dreamless sleep.

It was a beautiful evening, the darshan had been wonderful as usual, Aadhya Aacharya, the daughter of the most famous architect, Aaditya Aacharya, and daughter of the most famous lawyer, Renuka Aacharya. The future heir of the famous building group, 'Aacharya group of builders'. She had all the luxuries 'of course perks of being the daughter of a CEO and lawyer' she thought. She saw Ram, the son of the rival company's CEO, waiting at the footstep of the temple's exit. She despised that man. He was persistent in marrying her. Shiva!!! how she wanted the ground to swallow her. Thank God it seemed the lord heard her prayers her trustworthy driver, Anna, came to rescue.
After arriving home, she decided she needed a good night's sleep since she had a dance performance at the temple early morning and later a wedding in the evening at the Radisson Blu hotel to attend. It was the wedding of her best friend, Aarav, the heir to the blue ocean shipping company. Aadhya knew Aarav by meeting him in a few of her father's meetings and eventually bounded together on their studies.
She drifted off into a dreamless sleep. Not knowing that the events of tomorrow are going to change her life forever for good or for bad.

In the realm of Kannada cinema, Darshan Thoogudeepa's latest venture, "Kaatera," emerges as a captivating blend of heroism and nuanced performance. Director Tarun Sudhir expertly navigates the narrative, seamlessly merging Darshan's larger-than-life presence with the actor's ability to convey depth and emotion. The film marks a resplendent return for Darshan, offering a perfect concoction for fans who have longed to see the performer behind the mass-commercial hero.
Rustic Realism with a Powerful Message - Kaatera's Triumphs and Trivial Hiccups
Set against the backdrop of the 70s, "Kaatera" delves into themes of casteism, honor killing, and feudalism, shedding light on the age-old 'Holemari' custom. Writer Jadesh Kumar Hampi deserves credit for exploring these pertinent social issues. The film's raw and rooted content, despite occasional shortcomings in screenplay and narrative, serves as its biggest strength. While the power-packed performances by veterans like Jagapathi Babu, Kumar Govind, and Vinod Alva contribute to the film's intensity, debutant Aradhana shines in her role, proving her mettle as a promising actor.
Despite its strengths, "Kaatera" is not without its flaws. The film's three-hour runtime might test the patience of some viewers, especially in the first half, where pacing issues and back-to-back duet songs slightly impede the narrative flow. Certain sequences involving female characters could have been handled with greater sensitivity. The climax, while delivering an important message, may come across as slightly preachy for Darshan's 'mass fans.' However, V Harikrishna's standout background score and well-executed action sequences, especially in the second half, elevate the overall cinematic experience.
"Kaatera" stands as a testament to Darshan's prowess as both a mass hero and a performer. The film's rustic charm, coupled with its exploration of societal issues, makes it a commendable addition to Kannada cinema. While the runtime and certain narrative choices may pose challenges, the movie succeeds in delivering an impactful message, solidifying Darshan's return as a multifaceted actor.

BREAKING: Suneel Darshan to launch Natasha Fernandez, Aayush Kumar, Akaisha in Andaaz 2
Bollywood Hungama was the first one to break the news that Suneel Darshan is all set to make the sequel to his hit love triangle, Andaaz (2003). The shoot began on November 28 and Suneel Darshan confirmed at that point that he’ll be launching three new faces in Andaaz 2. However, he had refused to unveil their identities then.
Suneel Darshan has now, finally, revealed who these three newcomers are. Natasha Fernandez (pictured; on left), Aayush Kumar (pictured; on centre) and Akaisha (on right) will make their starry debuts in Andaaz 2. Natasha Fernandez also featured in Suneel’s last release, Ek Haseena Thi Ek Deewana Tha (2017), which also starred his son Shiv Darshan. Aayush Kumar had a very small role in Abhishek Bachchan-starrer Dasvi (2022) and Andaaz 2 will serve as his big debut.
Incidentally, with Andaaz as well, the veteran filmmaker launched the acting careers of Lara Dutta and Priyanka Chopra, who went on to become popular names. The musical also starred Akshay Kumar in the lead.
While Andaaz’s chartbuster songs were composed by Nadeem-Shravan, Andaaz 2 will feature original music by Nadeem of Nadeem-Shravan fame, lyrics by Sameer and choreography by Raju Khan. The Shree Krishna International presentation is written, produced and directed by Suneel Darshan. The film is expected to release in 2024.
Andaaz, directed by Raj Kanwar and produced by Suneel Darshan, was a love triangle between a man and two women. The film was a rage, thanks to the songs, youthful appeal, touching moments and sizzling chemistry between the actors. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama in May 2022, Suneel Darshan had said, “Several cinemas wanted to shut down over the course of the (2003 multiplex) strike. We had distributed the film ourselves and I personally called the theatre owners and requested to keep their cinemas going. I assured them that they’d benefit from Andaaz as I had that faith in the product. And thankfully, the film became a rage in the single screens.”

CALLED TO BE PRODUCTIVE IN OUR SPIRITUAL JOURNEY
33rd SUNDAY OF THE ORDINARY TIME:
An Indian actor Shah Rukh Khan, Badshah(king) of Bollywood, a familiar personality in the world today, hails from a humble origin. Journey that he has made from insignificant to significant, unknown to known is something thrilling and interesting. People just don't look at him as mere Bollywood actor, but an inspiration to many who strive to be successful in life. Shah Rukh Khan started his acting debut as a simple, ordinary television actor in Door Darshan, the only Indian television in 80s and made his Bollywood debut in 1992 with Deewana. He was initially recognized for playing villainous roles in the films Baazigar (1993) and Darr (1993), but today he is the most sought-after film personality. There are series of motivational TED talks by Shah Rukh Khan available for the youth to imitate. Today, this person is significantly known for multiplying his talents to become king of Bollywood.
The liturgy of the word of today reminds us not only the end of the liturgical year but also of the end of all things and calls for preparations to achieve our ultimate goal. All three readings invite us to live our life in such a way that we make best use of our God given talents to climb the ladders of our life on earth and face the second coming of the Lord, the final judgement day as “good and faithful servant”.
The First Reading of today speaks about a perfect woman of strong character, great wisdom, many skills and great compassion. How lucky a husband could be to have such a woman as his wife, who looks after the affairs of the house as well as has compassion for the poor and the needy. God, our eternal spouse looking for such brides for his kingdom.
The Second Reading of today is a reminder by St. Paul to the Christians in Thessalonica, to live a life of productivity, without expecting immediate ratification, but as children of light. Jesus, who is the light of the world has adopted us to be the reflections of that image and likeness of God.
The Gospel Reading of today invites us to be responsible citizens of this world. The master has been observing his servants in a close distance for a long time. That is how he distributes his property differently according to their abilities. This parable describes the consequences of two attitude of Christ’s return. The person who assiduously prepares by investing his or her time and talents to serve God will be rewarded. The person who has no heart for the work of the kingdom will be punished. God rewards faithfulness. Those who bear no fruit for God’s kingdom cannot expect to be treated the same as those who are faithful. 1) God gives each person different gifts and talents according our potentiality (2) More will be given to those who are more responsible (3) The unproductive and callous will be punished.
What are the talents and abilities you have?
Do you take responsibility to nurture these talents?
Are you accountable to God for all that you have been doing?
PRAYER:
God my master, thank you for creating me as human person with ability to live happily in this world. Thank you for giving me wisdom to utilize those talents and capabilities responsibly. As Jesus, your Son, multiplied five loaves and two fish, and fed five thousand people, similarly, bless me to multiply your given talents make this world a better place and thus prepare myself to encounter my Lord and master in his second coming. Amen.

Kannada film Robert
Recently I saw the movie Robert in Tamil version in Vijay super. T.V. Two years back it was released.
Good fast entertainment movie. All top class actors acted and SudhakarRaj cinematography and good direction by Tharun Sudhir was nice. Actors, Darshan, DevRaj, Jagapathy Babu, P.Ravishankar ,KariSubbu,Chikkana,Ashok and others acted well. Over the decades I am seeing the dramatic growth of the Sandalwood film industry in all aspects viz, Newcomers talent, technical aspects in Cinematography, Editing , Music and other talented divisions. Today film is the only entertainment for the common-man and films must be with moral values, tradition and above all liked by one and all. Director Tarun Sudhir has played his role very well and Darshan’s action was amazing. JagapathiBabu,P.Ravishankar are versatile actors suits for any role.Happy I witnessed an entertainment movie recently.
