one of my students signed off an email to me this morning "With Biblical Fear," so I guess my work here is done

#it made me laugh out loud and also feel a deep pang of empathy #because who among us isn't filled with biblical levels of fear right now #it was even better because the last sentence of the email had the phrase “silly goose” in it #anyway #A+ #i love when they make little jokes #we were workshopping a poem called ''silence'' and one of them said ''this poem reminded me of these discussions'' #(it's been a quiet class at many points this semester) #and i almost lost it laughing #on teaching writing
