2p N. Italy will be the one working, he just wants his S/O to have a relaxed life and he makes enough money for them to do that. He absolutely refuses having kids, he doesn’t want to potentially mess them up.

2p S. Italy is happy to be more of a househusband, he’s used to looking after people so it’s second nature to him, he’d love a child or two to have running around, he thinks they’re adorable.

2p Germany would prefer to be a househusband than work, he’s not the best at holding down a job anyway. For children, it’s a mixed bag, he loves kids but he hates raising them.

2p Japan is happy being a househusband, he doesn’t really like to go out at all so working is awful to him. He doesn’t want kids at all, he just can’t deal with children or their antics.

2p America would prefer to be the one working but he struggles to find employment so he knows it likely won’t end up that way, they’ll probably both work. As for children, he’s very hesitant, the idea scares him.

2p England would prefer 50/50, he doesn’t want them to do all the housework but he doesn’t want them to be the only one working either. He’s happy to split it up because that’s fair to him. He’d love a big family.

2p Canada is another that prefers the work be 50/50. He likes to do housework, he likes to work, it fills up time. When it comes to children, he’s hesitant because of how he was as a kid but the idea of a child is appealing.

2p France says he hates kids but he always takes care of them so he’d secretly like one of his own. Househusband nor working is that good to him, he just doesn’t have the motivation to do either.

2p China is unbothered: he’s fine to be the sole worker, he’s fine to stay at home, he’s fine if they both work, he really just goes with whatever they want. He’s taken care of enough children in his life to not want more.

2p Russia prefers to work, mostly because he likes the predictability and the routine of work. As for children, he’s not the biggest fan of children, nor does he have any idea how to raise them.

Oliver Kirkland 🧁 Gen. Headcanons

Oliver is considered to be the nicer of the 2ps—he's cooperative and leans more towards peaceful resolutions whilst retaining a cheerful disposition! The reasons behind his sweet smiles come from a deeply-rooted principle of ‘the golden rule'.

He chooses to abide by this principle, not because of fear of others, but because, out of most of the 2ps, Oliver is more excitable to violence. If he wanted to, he could hurt everyone around him in the worst of ways.

In his Empire days, he was known to be one of the more violent nations; however, during modern times, Oliver likes to stray away from what he once was. Even if he's significantly tamer than he was in the past, he still holds a slight temper but doesn’t show it off as much as his counterpart. 

Oliver’s relationship with his 1p is a bit strained due to conflicting personalities and interests. While he tries his best to reach a compromise with his counterpart, it usually just ends with Arthur being grumpier than before.

Oliver’s hobbies include reading, knitting, brewing tea, and baking. The latter grew fond of these muses because all of them are soothing by nature. He's the type to stress over things easily, so doing things like baking helps manage his emotions whilst reducing the chances of going into another psychotic episode.

If and when he goes into a psychotic episode, Allen [and sometimes Matthieu] would be tasked to deal with him. During these episodes, Oliver’s violent tendencies would resurface. Having been raised by the Brit, Allen knew how to properly deal with him without hurting him or himself. 

There was one time Oliver’s psychotic episodes were becoming too frequent which forced him to become isolated longer than he’d fancied. He's a social person by nature, and being separated from others was mental torture even if he knew it was the only thing that kept people safe from him.

But even with his struggles, he owns a small bake shop and surprisingly manages the business quite well. But the process of owning a small [yet successful] business along with handling the duties of being a personification is easier said than done.

It took a lot of convincing and compensation for his boss to finally give in but Oliver was happy nonetheless. He reasoned that by opening a bakery, he’d be able to blend in more with the crowd, indulge more time in his hobbies, and ultimately calm his nerves to prevent any lingering stress. 

The way Oliver interacts with his citizens strongly contrasts with how he speaks to fellow countries. When talking to other nations, Oliver tends to be more formal while keeping up his zestful attitude. But if he were to engage in small talk with his customers, he’ll add a little bit more honey to his words. 

It’s known by literally everyone that Oliver has a soft spot for kids. To him, kids are a pleasant reminder of a time when he took care of Allen and Matthieu when they were small. Even now, Oliver still views them as such but doesn’t voice it as he knows it’ll most likely offend them. 

He believes that children are a bit smarter than adults in many ways. The reason is: they're the only ones who can sense that he [and other personifications] aren’t exactly human.

First and foremost, he has auburn eyes and a strong nose bridge, his curly dark brown hair can be seen with a reddish tint in some lighting and he's around 6'3 (about 190cm), muscle wise, he's not as big as his 1p counterpart, but he is more toned

He also has several piercings which includes an eyebrow piercing, a tongue piercing, snake bites, and several ear piercings

The majority of his wardrobe consists of short sleeved t-shirts, jean and faux leather jackets, cargo pants, dark colored jeans, and combat boots, sometimes he'll wear baseball caps

Even though he has a very rough exterior, being quite sarcastic and ill-tempered, he has a deep love for animals and for the few people that are close to him (even if he doesn't express it)

Partially due to his love of animals, he's vegan, and is unashamed to admit it, going so far as to getting into physical confrontations if someone thinks it makes him "a pussy"

He also has a bad mouth, using profanity liberally, regardless of the circumstance

He is quite flirtatious, though not a romantic in the slightest (think of shitty pickup lines you'd hear in a bar), they land even when they shouldn't because he's so confident and fine

More often than not, he refers to others almost exclusively with nicknames, even if he's just met someone

He has a New York accent and spends the majority of his time there, renting an apartment to live in (he can often be seen smoking on his fire escape at hellish morning hours)

He thinks that driving is "Bullshit and a waste of fuckin' time", so he's gotten incredibly apt at using the subways, and being unphased by the weird things that go on on public transportation (though he has a thing for motorcycles)

On his free time, he enjoys watching American Football, going to bars and clubs (with a fake ID), and running around at night with a few other 2p countries, causing mischief (and light crime)

Sitting across from the person with a peace sign t-shirt, a man with strawberry blonde hair giving (Y/N) (L/N) disapproving looks as the gentleman with the pink vest takes a sip of his tea. Oliver places the cup down carefully without dropping any drop of his tea before taking a breath, massaging the bridge of his nose.

"Poppet, I know you always hang out with Matthew but I think you should at least give Allen's a chance to hang out with you," Oliver held one of your hands.

"I'm not sure, Ollie. I mean...we're not enemy but our personality just clash a lot." you told the strawberry blonde man.

You might be wondering what happening right now and why are you talking with a gentleman who is wearing a pastel pink vest. Oliver Kirkland, he is your friend along with Matthew Williams. However, you just cannot get along with Matthew's brother even though he always greet you in the school.

His brother is Allen F. Jones. A man with auburn hair, and tanned skin, as he always wears a dark bomber jacket along with a spiked dog tag on his neck. Many girls and guys have swooned by him because of his looks along with his deep yet sexy accent when he spoke to everyone.

You don't hate him nor like him but the two of you are just very different. He was a rather bad-tempered, sailor's mouth and enjoys picking lots of fights with other people as he often picked a fight with his brother too. You rather stayed in the shadow, composed and think first before action as you're slightly intimidated by him.

However, your best friend Oliver Kirkland thought you hated him and you must spend your time with the tall, auburn-haired man. It was a simple misunderstanding of what happened yesterday, but because of that, everyone assumes you hated the man without giving you a chance to explain.

Flashback

It was in the afternoon as many people on the street walking around going to their working place, jogging, or going somewhere else. A pair of white earphones plugged into your ears, listening to 'Smells like a Teen Spirit' and 'In Bloom' by Nirvana. You're not a huge fun of Nirvana band but you still enjoy their songs nonetheless.

The songs were interrupted by the sound of a scream from the alleyway, the sound was rather muscular and a little bit heavy along with grunting and cursing. In a normal situation, you would rather leave the crime scene by ignoring the sound and walking back to your home but curiosity got the best of you.

Glancing around to see anyone, your body swayed side to side as your foot made forward steps, following those sounds even though your brain was telling you 'no! You need to go back! It's too dangerous for you!' repeatedly. However, your curiosity was stronger than ever before and ignoring your brain that was pleading to just walk away and be safe.

Along the way, there was a T-Junction in front of your eyes and the sound was getting louder and louder on the right pathway. Taking the right turn, your eyes darted around as the sound of your footsteps got quieter until there was no sound from your shoes. Darting your eyes around, you silently walk to the biggest and nearest dumpster as you hear some conversations.

"I TOLD YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM HIM/THEY/HER, FUCK ASS! I DON'T CARE IF YOU LIKE HIM/THEY/HER OR WHAT BUT JUST GET THE FUCK AWAY!" It was Allen.

"Psh, what else you gonna do about it? That chick/dude is a shot. I cannot just pass that away," The sound of the speaker is somehow familiar but you cannot put a finger on it.

"THAT'S IT DICK HEAD!" It was silent for a moment before a loud banging sound could be heard with the sound of the person screamed in pain.

However, it did not only stop there because there were other loud sounds of metal clashing or a sound of an object getting thrown around. Peeking out from the dumpster, you saw Allen standing out with a nailed bat in his hand but what was more surprising was that there were fresh red liquids on it as it drips to the ground. Since that day, you were scared of the tall auburn baseball player.

Present

It was obvious that you want to reject Oliver's Idea of hanging out with Allen after that day. Those images of blood dripping on his bat, a sadistic smirk along with the person on the ground with such scary injuries are still written all inside of your head. Nevertheless, Oliver's eyes slowly get bigger as his blue and pink eyes have stars on them with lips quivering and you can hear a small 'please' from him.

"..Alright. I will give him a chance to hang out with him," You shake your head, knowing that you just got trapped by the brit's cuteness as he wrapped his arm around you and a large smile dances on his face "Thank you so much! Poppet! I promise you will love hanging out with my brother!' He said.

'Oh...I bet I will regret it' You internally thought.

Inside the cinema, both of your legs swung side to side along with your eyes keeps glancing at the clock ticking on top of the wall and the sounds of your shoes tapping against the black ceramic floor. You were wearing ripped black trousers, light grey checked shirt with a black sleeveless 'bikini kill' band t-shirt underneath it and track boots.

There were tons of outfits in your wardrobe but you choose the ones that are very comfortable for the hangout with Allen. You thought the guy wouldn't come until you can hear a loud 'Yo dollface! I'm over here!' from far away. Glancing around the cinema, your eyes spotted the similar guy that bashed some guys in the alleyway as his footsteps got closer and closer to you until he was standing right in front of you.

If you didn't see what happened last night, you would smile a little bit and wave your hands at him but the thought still lingers "Oh, hey Allen. I'm glad you want to watch with me," you tried to act as if what happened yesterday wasn't bothering you at all but you're not a good actress so the shaking tone in your voice must be given away as you hope he didn't catch that you are still afraid of him.

"Nah, I should thanking Oliver and you. By the way, what movies do you want to watch?" He gently held one of your arm before dragging you into the line.

There were not many people inside of the cinema so the two of you did not need to wait for a long time until the two of you reaching out to the cashier "I think...I wanna see The Purge," Your eyes looking at the list of the movies on the screen.

"Alright, dollface. Two movies of The Purge on the back seat," his hand fishing out a wallet inside of his pocket.

"H-hey! You don't need to pay!" Your eyes widened seeing him trying to pay for the tickets because you feel bad for him even though he was only being humble....or is he?

"What? Nu-uh. Listen to me, sweetcheeks. I'm the one who wants to hang out with you so I'm the one paying it," he began getting a little bit stubborn as he said those words with sass.

"I know that but at least let me pay for my own ticket!" You glare at him.

"Ugghhh you are so fucking stubborn. Fine, I will pay for the ticket and you will pay for the snacks. How about that, doll?" He groans.

"Okay fine. I will pay for the snacks," you roll your eyes at him.

Even though the two of you had a small banter, some people saw that little fight and internally laughed. Thinking that the two of you are such a cute couple, especially the banter caused by a silly reason. After paying for the tickets, the two of you walk to the snack counter before ordering one bucket of popcorn and two glasses of diet coke. Of course, it made you a little bit confused about why he only bought one medium-sized bucket of popcorns when people can buy two small cartoons of popcorn but you didn't ask him that.

After paying the cashier of the snack counter. Allen surprisingly reaches out for the popcorn along with the drinks "C'mon dollface. Let's hurry, I'll take this so you don't have to bring everything." Once again, you were surprised by this action. None of the girls or guys ever being this kind to you but that surprised face was replaced with a smile once again and a nod before walking with his side to side.

The door of the cinema was opened by a woman as she was looking at the two of you with an intimidated stare, especially at Allen since his looks from head to the toe can be interpreted as a 'bad guy'. You wanted to comfort the poor girl but that only made your action a little bit insulting to Allen. You mutter a small 'sorry' before following Allen from behind and sitting next to him as the two of you got your own sits.

Timeskips

You did not expect but you had lots of fun after watching with Allen. He would throw some stupid yet funny jokes when you were getting bored with some of the scenes from the movie. Even though the joke was bad, it was still hilarious before you throw another bad pun and earned a small snicker from him.

You would also offer the popcorn since he told you that the popcorn was for you and he did not want to eat the popcorn. You wondered why until he pulled out a plastic bag from his bag and showed out a tofu burger and it immediately clicked to your mind that Allen is actually a vegan and he doesn't eat or drink dairy products. This made you feel guilty, thinking you were being insensitive but Allen notices immediately before his large hand patting your head in an affectionate way.

"Don't worry dollface. I know you didn't know that I'm a vegan. Don't think that you're some kind of asshole," he grins.

"Yeah...I just....I-" You were immediately cut off by him.

"Just stop it sweetcheeks or I will mess your hair even more," he snickers, petting your head harder and causing a nest form on your head.

"O-oi! Asshole! Don't mess my hair like that!" You hiss at him, only earning a laughter from him.

Even though Allen was a little bit of a jerk by the restless teasing and the messing on your hair. He made you think twice that Allen might be not a bad guy after all. Sure, he was violent and sailor-mouthed but the way he treated you was different from other girls. He was more playful and less guarded around you.

After a movie night, the two of you were walking out together side by side and going home together. Tonight was very peaceful and it was a perfect chance to have a small and relaxing talk with 2p America.

"Hey Allen, thank you so much for the movie night," you smile, feeling a little bit less scared than him and the redness of your cheeks slowly showing,

"It was no problem, dollface. I'm glad that you enjoy watching movie with me" He shrugs.

There was a little bit of silence before he spoke "Hey (Y/N), I know you were stilll scared of me and I'm glad that your not too scared of me like before," oh...so he notices the quivering voice when you spoke to him. You wanted to smack your own head to the wall for being too obvious. "Yeah... I'm sorry," you whispered.

"No, don't apologize. I know you were scared of me but I just need to tell you what happened. I realized you were scared of me because of what happened last night and I can explain what the hell was going on. Yesterday, I notice one of your classmates Pete, one of my teammates would always target you as he stalks you and took a picture of you half-naked while changing. At first, I thought he was only looking at some kind of porn when I was sitting next to him and waiting for my turn to play. 'til, I realized your hair colour and your face. I was so fucking disgusted by that asshole so that's why Yesterday I beat him up" he shows the screen of his phone of the photo where that 'Pete' guy was watching you and taking his phone out while recording you. You were studying for tomorrow's test and not realized the stalker who was hiding even though there was also a teacher in the classroom.

Realizing this, you felt even feel more guilty than before. Those 'bad boy' and 'aggressive' scenes that you saw yesterday were just an action to protect you from the creepy classmate in the school. Your fist tightened before it relaxes slightly before your hand reached out to his waist, pulling him closer and wrapping your arm around him.

"Thank you.....for protecting and thank you for tonight's hang out," You mutter but still loud enough for him to hear it.

His eyes widened as he was turned into a statue out of shocks for a few seconds but it changes in a few seconds as a smile was written all over his face and wrapping his arm around you, engulfing your form with his large yet warm arms. "It was no problem, dollface. I couldn't see a dickhead hurting you...."

I wanna be more consistent with how I draw Matt so here is a mini ref sheet and I just wanted to elaborate on it and sprinkle in some of my own headcannons.

Not only this but I do have an Al ref sheet planned.

Appearance

TALL man, not only that but he is also just built like a bear. Under his clothes he has a few scars here and there but what is life without some? His physique is kind of like one of those body builders who build for strength, not for show.

He is very much a strawberry blonde! His hair texture is very rough, imagine like a horse's mane. It can get some curls underneath but he doesn't really follow a hair care regime that would allow for his curls to really come through.

He always has some redness to his face. It is hard to say if that is because its almost always cold where he lives or he just is built like that. The rest of his skin is very pale with some scars as mentioned before.

Sometimes he sports a short beard but he likes to be clean shaven. It makes him feel like he has a routine, though if he actually had a routine he would go crazy. So he often has a blonde 5'00 shadow.

His eyes are very intense, with notable bags under his eyes buried under some sharp blonde brows.

His wardrobe is pretty plain, its mostly jeans, flannels and his Mountie uniform. He HATES not being able to cover up for one reason or another. Most of his shoes are dirty from work or just being outside.

General

His full name is Matthieu James Williams. Though mostly he goes by, Matt. Though very rarely some call him James. (It is usually when his brother teases him.)

Though he doesn't need a job, in the winter months he often works as a lumberjack. And when it warms up, he helps out as a Mountie and primarily works with implementing and enforcing policies that have to do with silviculture and wild game.

Usually in his pockets he will have a piece of candy or two. It is never anything fruity flavored or gummies. It is a mix between, butterscotch, toffee, maple sugars, carmels or something in that ball park.

Drives a Ford truck! Cars are something he appreciates with his brother so he takes pretty good care of it.

He usually likes to have cash, though he does not go into town often so cash just sits in his wallet.

As much as he hates it, his cellphone. Because you never know when you will need it. Same for his knife. Though he uses it for tasks like opening boxes and cutting up apples.

He loves Hockey, just always has and always will. He loves playing it just as much as watching it.

Loves nature! But hates a lot of the people in it. Especially the "Hippies". Though he uses this word to refer to many people who are not just hippies. He cant stand people who spend time in nature just to plaster it all over social media. He knows it doesn't effect him much but, he cant stand the over crowding at scenic sights and pollution those people cause.

It especially irks him when people act like they care for the environment but they don't take any steps to care for it. So many self proclaimed "Hippies" just bother him. From the way that the dress, talk, act and so on.

What are the things that attract 2p canada to a person? Platonic or romantic.

What attracts 2p Canada to a person?

Romantic

Matt is attracted to kindness in a person. Anyone can be nice but kindness is hard to find. If that doesn’t make sense let me put it this way. To be a nice person is by smiling and making small talk with someone. While being kind is truly caring about others; maybe you don’t smile and wave at everyone but you do care and truly do your best to be selfless.

Matt is pretty used to being judge since he’s this random big guy who lives in the middle of the woods with bad social skills. So if you’re kind and accepting to him he might develop a bit of a crush on you.

It also helps if you’re soft spoken. Since Matt has a gruff manly voice it’s a nice change to have a darling with a nice honeyed voice to keep him company.

Platonic

Matt is very protective over shy or timid people. He’s a stoic traditional guy and he believes in protecting the weak to his core. So if you’re a victim of bullying and he sees it your bullies will be obliterated.

He’s very protective over toddlers and younger children since he sees them as very innocent and vulnerable. If platonic darling is a young child he’ll be taking care of them constantly. He was never doted on or coddled as a kid so expect lots of gifts. They’re not expensive but simple homemade gifts like scarfs, whittled wooden animals, and quilts.

Matt finds himself easily attracted funny people as friends. They help to ease tension and make everything seem so much easier.

How would the 2p Axis and Allies react to their s/o asking for a threesome with one of their friends?

2p N. Italy immediately shoots it down, he's offended they'd even ask for it. He's not very sexual, he sees sex as a meaningful thing since he grew up very religious and for them to ask for that makes him feel really insecure.

2p S. Italy is hesitant to agree, he's never actually done anything like that before. He may act really confident when it comes to sex but he gets nervous about exploring anything new. He probably just agrees anyway.

2p Germany agrees immediately, he doesn't really care. More people, more fun - that's his logic to it. As long as he doesn’t dislike their friend (unlikely, he gets along with pretty much everyone), he sees no real issue with it.

2p Japan is ecstatic about it, the moment he hears the word “threesome” is the second he agrees. It could be with someone that he barely knows, a friend they only just made, he would not care.

Allen’s motto is: “If your gonna do something dumb, be fuckin’ smart about it.” 

Which doesn’t grant much surprise when his close friends and family find out how much a felon he really is.

These days however, he makes sure all his stunts aren’t too common or deplorable for him to get tracked down and thrown behind bars.

Allen had learnt the hard way after Oliver couldn’t handle bailing him out anymore which resulted to leaning on Matthieu as a last resort to wrangle the shit out of him.

And the moment he left the prison with his brother in tow, not only was he half deaf from the yelling [in French and in English], but also a bit more bruised up than before he stepped inside.

Due to his many infamous feats in the law, Allen has become regrettably well acquainted with the cops who’ve been arresting him. So much so, that whenever he spots a familiar policeman on the street or in a nearby restaurant he’ll flip them the bird and walk by without a care. 

As if he isn’t disrespecting the people who can throw him in jail for the 50th time.

Allen has a strong New York accent. And added with his deep and somewhat gruff voice, people perceive him to be dangerous or dangerously attractive. [Allen’s fine with either or ;>].

He does enjoy shooting guns like Alfred, but enjoys short-ranged weapons as well. Allen's naturally gifted with any melee-weapons. Be it knifes, bats, handguns, you name it. 

His real specialty though, is hand to hand combat.

If or when he and Alfred get into a fight Allen can honestly give the latter a run for his money if weapons aren't involved.

After the first few years of introduction, things between the two were pretty rocky since both came from completely separate heritages and in turn, disagreed on a plethora of things when it came to running the country.

~ But turning to the subject of him and you, you probably first saw the latter during the dead of night. Sitting in a park where the streetlights limelight glow illuminated his form—or perhaps smoking less than legal substances in an alley way with a certain Chinese man.

You, living in New York, knew better than to hang out around alleys, have small talk with strangers and stick around longer than you should. Especially in this side of the city in the 1970s. So the most you would do was spare a quick glance and walk off on your merry way. 

When you first moved to Manhattan, you held a very general idea of what the city might be like.

Densely populated, filled with rude people, stoners getting high in the alleyways, hookers coming in and out of bars, overpriced apartments, and much, much more. Course, you understood that not every part of the city was terrible. But being street-smart was your best ticket in avoiding any trouble.

And after seeing those familiar red-tainted auburn hair with a certain cow-lick sticking up more than once, it left your mind screaming the words danger and leave.

Allen’s reputation was deeply rooted within darkest parts of New York, and while he hasn’t committed any serious crimes to receive the death penalty yet, it was best not to cross paths with the latter.

Or at least get on his bad-side. 

But you, being part of the unlucky bunch, has.

Having developed a sharp tongue since childhood, you obtained a nasty habit of insulting people in between sentences. All of it was purely involuntary as no one corrected you until much later into adulthood.

So you made sure to keep conversations short and to the point. To protect not only the other persons feelings, but the strain it took minding every phrase.

Allen one night, had walked up next to you after you were finally released from your job hours. When he saw you leaned up against the stone wall at behind the building and simply relishing in the icy air prickling your skin and cooling your fiery nerves, all of it lit a spark in his mind.

You were the the person he kept seeing. 

The poor soul that continued to make their way into his thoughts. 

So what’s the harm in trying to get to know you? But of course, the conversation doesn’t go as smoothly as he planned.

“Hey dollface, haven’t I seen you somewhere before~?”

Your eyes flicked over to him as you replied in a heartbeat,

“Yes, that’s why I don’t go there anymore.”
