Titanic Is Sailing To Theaters AGAIN For 20th Anniversary! Check Out What The Cast Has Been Up To Since 1997!
I look younger now than when I was in my early 20s
Titanic is one of the most celebrated films OF. ALL. TIME.
James Cameron's epic drama set sail in December 1997 and went on to break numerous records, including that of topping the box office for 15 consecutive weeks in North America. BTW, it didn't even leave theaters until October 1, 1998. Wild!
The sweeping love story of Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Rose (Kate Winslet) also has 11 Oscars to its name -- a feat it shares with only two other movies: Ben-Hur and Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.
Even as it nears its official 20th anniversary, this blockbuster mega-hit still holds up in today's pop culture stratosphere. So it's no wonder fans will get to enjoy yet another re-release of the film.
Yes, James has teamed up with select AMC Theaters to showcase the movie in both 2D and 3D features for a limited run in 87 Dolby Cinema beginning Dec. 1. According to Deadline, tickets will go on sale today (November 15) at AMC locations and online.
Before you go buying your seats, make sure to check out what the cast has been up to (below)!
