Day 121 Start
Okay, it’s time for Act 2 BOOK THREE. I’m pretty sure y’all are on book six, so including this one, I still have three and a bit before I catch up.
Last time we learned that the book Selnikov had was from the future. Looking back over it, it seems future Agatha hid some sort of time machine in the Corbettite crypts. It looks like it was built by Van Rijn, the same person who built the muses, to “free the storm king from a castle where the sun never set”, which is pretty obviously about Tarvek and Mechanicsburg. We really need to get that guy out of there.
If it was correct that Van Rijn made the time machine, then why haven’t we heard of him in the present? Maybe they’re the time professor we’re looking for? Maybe they don’t even exist and Van Rijn is just a time-travelling Agatha trying to make sure events happened the way they happened.
If Van Rijn, whoever they are, wanted to free Mechanicsburg, why haven’t they done so already? Maybe they decided it was worth it to leave their beloved storm king trapped if it meant we also got to get rid of Othar for awhile.
Too bad he just got free.

Logo inspiration statement
Inspiration mainly comes from the image of auspicious cloud totem in ancient China. This decorative pattern appears mostly on the roof of ancient Chinese architecture and is a very representative pattern. The basic inspiration for the design of the torch for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China, also came from this. Given that the main audience is Westerners, the Chinese element and China Red should be highlighted on the logo and the cover to make it easier for users to recognize this as a game based on Chinese elements. Throughout the game, the logo is also used throughout.

Ritu Jha: South Asia has always had a complicated relationship with the word 'freedom'. Freedom for India and Pakistan also encompassed Partition which was a rather traumatic event.
The legacy of freedom has been the continuing conflict over Kashmir," explained Vaidya. Partition and Kashmir were examined through Mara Ahmed's A Thin Wall and Vishal Bhardwaj's Haider, which brings Shakespeare's Hamlet to violence-torn Kashmir.
Recalling how A Thin Wall got a spot in the festival, Vaidya said, "We really love the film because it encapsulates so much of what the third I is about. The fact that it is an Indo-Pak production, between director Mara Ahmed and producer Surbhi Dewan, was definitely a big plus, as we always look for films that move beyond narrow, national identities, to forge a South Asian collaboration."

Q．「2 / ∞」ロケ。渋谷さんは今回が初めてでしたが、いかがでしたか？
渋谷：楽しかったです。なんかのんびり、癒されましたね、今日は。楽器のお店もそうやし、船も。めっちゃ楽しかったですね！
Q．丸山さんは中崎町に続いて2回目でしたが、街が変わるとまた違いましたか？
丸山：違いましたね。街も変わると違うし、ロケの曜日が変わるとまた違うなって。
今の秋口の空気感は、外を散歩するにも適してますし、今日やったクルージングなんか、今の時期にちょうどいいんじゃないんですか？ 暑すぎず、日焼けもしないし。今はどんな人でも、老若男女、外を楽しめる時期だと思うので、大正区の落ち着いた雰囲気とかも、おじいちゃんおばあちゃんとかにもいいんじゃないかなと思いましたね。
Q．渋谷さんは、ロケのオープニングで、大正区はあまり来たことないっておっしゃってましたが？
渋谷：プライベートではないですね。仕事では、京セラドームにライブで来たりしますけど。あとは映画をやった舞台がこのへんやったんで、ロケをずっとこのへんでしてましたね。それぐらいですかね。街をゆっくりと楽しんだのは、今回が初めてです。この街が、
なんか、沖縄とのつながりがある話とかも全然知らなかったし。接してみるといろいろとわかることもあって。歩いて見て、初めて分かることがありますね。ほんま人がおもしろいですね、やっぱり。
Q．丸山さんは関西Jr.時代にいらっしゃったことがあるかもとオープニングでおっしゃってましたが？
丸山：そうですね。でも、ジュニア時代にちょっとは歩いたことがあるっていう位で。成人して歩くと、味わいも変わってくるなというのも感じましたね。カレー屋さんでは、海外から来て本場の味を届けていらっしゃると聞いて、ナンも美味しかったですね！ また、楽器店では、いろんな音が出る楽器があるんだなと。神秘的な気持ちにもなりましたね。
Q．今回は、渋谷さん、丸山さんのペアでしたが、組んでみてどうでした？
渋谷：好きになりましたね…丸を（笑）。もっといろんなとこに二人で行きたいなと思いましたね。プライベートでも♡好きになりましたね～（笑）。
丸山：30歳を超えて、こうやって渋やんとロケするっていうのもいいなと思いましたね。20代だったら、もっとガツガツ、色々とやってた気がするんですけど。今回みたいに、落ち着いて腰据えて、空気を一緒に楽しむのっていうのが、何かいいなあ～って感じしましたね。
Q．13年前、カンテレの番組『J3 KANSAI』でも、渋谷さんと丸山さんのお二人で船のロケに行かれたって聞いたんですが？
丸山：そう！2人で行きましたね～。あのときもっときゃぴきゃぴしてた気がするね。
渋谷：元気でしたね。
丸山：なんか、笑いを生み出さなアカンっていう感じがあったと思うけど（笑）。どっちかって言うとヒューマンな感じがしますね、今の方が。人と接して、出会ってというか。
渋谷：ヒューマン～♪
丸山：なんか、フラットに楽しかった。
Q．今日のロケで「ジャニ勉」ぽかったなというところはありますか？
渋谷：ジャニ勉ぽかったの、何やろ～…。何やろな～自由さ？かな。そうですね。ジャニ勉は、スタジオでもあんまり決まりなく自由にやらさせてもらってるから、その感じはロケであったと思いますね。
Q．『ジャニ勉』でリニューアルの話が出た際に、渋谷さんが「エイトでロケとか行ったらええんちゃう？」とアドバイスをくださったとプロデューサーから聞いたのですが？
渋谷：え？オレが？ほんまに（笑）？じゃあそうしときましょうか（笑）。
丸山：ええ話（笑）。
渋谷：でも、たしかに「みんなでロケ」とは言いましたね。昔、ジャニ勉でようロケしてたからね。やっぱり、あれがすごい楽しかったので、そう言ったんやと思います（笑）。
Q．最後に、今回の大正ロケのみどころをお願いします！
渋谷：いい意味でフラットなこの2人のテンション、空気感じゃないですかね。スタジオとはまたちょっと違ったロケならではのフラットな、フツーの感じを見てもらえるんじゃないかと思います！ 普段、いつもこんな感じなんで、そのままな感じ。
丸山：みどころは、もちろん僕たち二人の空気感もそうですし、皆さん自身が、僕たちがだべりながらブラブラしてる中から大正区の魅力みたいなのものを探してもらえたらいいかなと思いますね。それぞれが感じるところが違うと思うんで。色んな街の情報も盛り込めていると思うんで、自分なりのチョイスで、大正区の良さをぜひ、チョイスしてみてください！

ブラジルの大統領Dilma Rousseffがこの国の医薬品規制機関を回避して臨床試験が行われたことのない根拠のない「魔法の薬」をがん患者が使えるようにする法案に署名した。この法は、ブラジルの科学大臣がこの化合物、合成ホスホエタノールアミンが実験室での研究でがんに効果はなかった、と発表した数週間後の4月14日に発効した。São Paulo大学のがん研究者Paulo Hoffは「非常に残念だ」という。「このことは規制機関の土台を崩し、役にたつかどうかわからない副作用も不明の何かを使うことを合法化する」。
Rousseff大統領はこの法案について相当な政治的圧力を受けていた。財政上の不正についての弾劾の可能性に直面し、議員らがこの化合物へのアクセスを声高に要求していた。この法案はがんと診断された人は誰でも、処方無しでこの薬物を入手できるようにする。
しかし現時点では患者がこの錠剤を手にするのは難しい。この法律ではこの化合物はヒトの医薬品を作ることが認められた施設で製造される必要があるが現在そのような施設でホスホエタノールアミンを作っているところはない。それなのにHoffによると彼の病院にはこの薬を使用しているという患者が定期的にやってくる。「私は彼らがどこからそれを入手しているのかわからない」という。
ここ数年、患者らはSão Paulo大学の化学研究室からこの化合物を得ていて、大学が配布を中止しようとしたら数千の患者が訴え、一部の裁判所が大学に患者にホスホエタノールアミンを与えるよう命令した。しかしその研究室は医薬品製造は認められていない。
この混乱に対応して科学技術大臣は約1000万レアル（290万米ドル）でこの化合物の研究を行った、培養細胞への毒性はなかったががん細胞にも影響はなかった。動物実験は現在実施中である。
HoffはSão Paulo州からの資金提供を受けて数週間で結果を出そうとしている。数千人の患者が既に使用している以上動物実験の結果を待ってはいられない。最初に現在使用中の量が安全かどうかを10人で調べ、その後有効性を調べる。彼は約6ヶ月で結果を出すと予想するが、一部の患者はこの薬の効果に疑問を提示するデータは受け容れないだろうとも予想する。この薬を使用している彼の患者の一人は「私はこれを使用し続けたいのです、もう信仰の問題です」と言った。
一方でブラジル科学技術省の研究開発政策長官Jailson de Andradeは患者の報告について懸念している－早期の、治療可能なが���患者が標準療法を拒否してこの化合物を使用している。「私達は全ての人に、正式な治療を止めないよう強く促す」

大統領の署名に科学者らは軽蔑の言葉を浴びせている。ブラジルの臨床がん学会長Gustavo Fernandesは「疑似科学による救世主願望に感化された政治的決定で、この問題の最悪の取り扱いである」
この「がん錠剤」騒動は昨年ブラジルのメディアがこれでがんが治ったと主張する患者を取り上げたことで巻き起こった。化合物は1990年代初めにSão Paulo大学の分析化学者Gilberto Chiericeが開発したもので何の規制上の承認も臨床知見もないまま何年間にも渡って無料で患者に配布してきた。2014年6月に大学がChiericeの行為を止めさせようとしたが15000人以上が大学を訴え、錠剤の供給を継続することを強いた。一方活動団体は政治家に圧力をかけ合法化を迫った。保健、産業、科学の担当者は大統領に法案に反対するよう助言したが、大統領は政治生命が危うい時期で、事務所が署名を薦めた。
新しい法律ではこの物質は「認可機関」で製造・販売されなければならない。4月1日にSão Paulo大学は裁判所の命令で薬を作り続けていたChiericeの研究室を閉鎖した。現在この物質が正規に合成されているのは臨床試験のために州政府から製造を委託されている民間ラボのみである。このラボではChiericeらの特許のある方法で作っており、国際的にダイエタリーサプリメントなどとして販売されている合成ホスホエタノールアミンとは違うとChiericeらは主張している。
